My family went to the outback on division (party of 6) and waited for a hour to eat, when we saw people leaving after they ate and came after us, we left and I can't beleive they followed us out and the manager was yelling at you-----When you FIRE you manager let me know or I will never go back and coming from a resturant family I will make sure everybody knows my story and how that manager treated us
Commercial voice
Wow! what can I say about that horrible voice on the commercials. I love the outback and have lived in Oz for a few years. I would really love to brag about going to the outback establishment but all I get in return is ridicule. None of my friends will go to the outback because all they can do is laugh at the phony aussie voice. I beg of you, corporate, please stop embarrassing your yourself. Find a true aussie voice that truly represents the Outback!.... unless its the presidents son who needs a job... well ... you still need to change voice.
why the change?
Outback in savannah ga on abercorn st. Was always our first choice for a great streak! Since we live over an hour away this stop was a real treat! Well today I was sadden when I walked in! The whole restraunt had changed. Not much of an aussie theme anymore. Wait staff was dressed all in black...no more friendly chat...kakais and shorts...no offer of drink specials. I liked the old way....I didn't even finish my meal. Well I guess its olive garden or texas road house....the themes are spot on. If I go to the outback I don't want to see a cold all black dress staff. Sounds petty but if you go to chucky cheese you don't want to see mickey mouse....just saying!

my family and i have been going to outback for a long time, but the last trip was not that great, my wife's food had hair in it but she did not find it until she had taken 3 bites by then she was so disgusted she had to leave and go sit in our car, it was so awful. and the staff acted like it was nothing and instead of offering a new meal or a discount on our dinner they gave us all free refills of drinks. how could this happen to such a well know name in dinning? and when i called the manager to ask what could be done to get my wife to understand it was OK. he suggested i take her to therapy because she was ,in his words (wound to tightly ) that's what really upset us so bad.anyway we will not be back to our location or any other. and its a shame is the management or staff in charge that night had simply gave us a discount on our meal and apologized for it we could have understood and maybe in time may have have returned. but not after all this has happened.
Mold???
Outback in auburn mass. I go there all the time. Great food good workers . Today I went back. It was daytime so the lighting was very good. As I was siting in my booth sipping on an ice cold colors light I happened to look up an See that the ceiling tiles were stained from being wet. So now curious as George I starting looking around some more an bad noticed the tile right above my head was soaked an was covered in a white mold. It made me want to eat the salad with get cheese. Very disappointed. Know I'm sitting home an completely grossed out an feeling congested an having a hard time breathing. I why do I feel lick s you say, nope not cause the food or sevice, but yes you got it mold mold mold. I even have pictures to prove it which will be sent to corporate ASAP. When I feel better.
A group of friends went to the Lake Charles, LA Outback last night. There was an awful smell coming from an area of the restaurant,we mentioned it to the front door people and they just acted like we were nuts and they couldn't smell anything. As we went further back into the area the smell became worse and several other dinners moved because of it. Our server tried to find the source of the smell, even got down on her hands and knees to see if the floor had been mopped with a dirty mop. I was impressed to say the least. Amanda was TERRIFIC!!! Not only did we not move but we stayed because of her commement to her job and to us and the wonderful way she handled a VERY ackward situation. Amanda was Great!! our food was served hot and cold when it was supposed to be such. My husband and I think she was the best wait person we have ever had. We wanted you to know.
Don't appreciate the sign out front...
Last night our family visited store #4325 and noticed a sign by the front door stating that while we respect our customer's right to carry firearms, no guns are allowed on the premises. While several members of our family have concealed carry permits (and utilize that privilege responsibly), we do not appreciate the inability to respectfully enter your premises. You see, I do not intend to place my family's safety in the hands of your management, staff, or even local law enforcement. When terror strikes, seconds make differences between life and death. Lawful citizens utilizing the right to keep and bear arms can react responsibly to thwart terror. Someone once said that when seconds count, the police are only minutes away. We will not dine in any restaurant that infringes upon our ability to protect our loved ones.

Service
The service was so bad. We had to wait for about 15 mins for out salads after we placed our order. The salad finally came out and not even a minute after out came our food. I order a medium well ribeye and it was pouring out with blood. It was very sad to eat here tonight. It wouldve been a nice birthday dinner.
Consistently excellent
I've enjoyed the Boardman, Ohio Outback many times and have NEVER been disappointed. The atmosphere is upbeat and friendly without feeling forced. ( I can usually tell if an employee enjoys their job and these folks do!) And of course the food is terrific too. Keep up the great work!
Still on hold...
I am a former employee of Outback Steakhouse and need employment verification for a job I am currently trying to get. I don't have my old W2s (which may be irresponsible, but moving several times causes you to lose a few things) and all I need is for a corporate member of OSI to look up my employment info. Difficult? Sure doesn't sound like it would be. But low and behold, I have been transferred and placed on hold for a total of 30 minutes, and counting. Outback is a large corporation and it shouldn't be this difficult to prove that I worked there at one point.
Outback Hawaii Kai
Last night my family and I went to have dinner at Outback. We had a great server named Dustin who was very pleasant. As we were almost finished with our meal a problem had occurred and we reported it to out waiter. As we were getting ready to pay for our bill the manager came by our table and recognized that there was a problem and she sincerely apologized. Christy was the managers name and she went above and beyond to make our dining experience better. My family and I would return again just because the staff is great!!!

Outback Lake Worth
I am sitting out front of the restaurant after making an 8:15 call ahead appointment. My party of seven is being punished because we have a large group. We are waiting for the one table being used for large groups. We are being told it could be some time before we will be seated. I don't understand this since our group of adults will spend quite a bit more than most for our meals and leave a considerable tip. I keep telling myself it will be different next time we come but it is always the same tune at this restaurant. Oh did I mention one of our group is nine months pregnant which is the reason we called ahead. Well, they are seating the ninth party of people who have now arrived after our call in time and here we sit. Sure wish Outback was more family friendly because the food is great; however, restaurants are more than just food. Tonight has been a service failure on the part of Outbaclk and this restaurant's management, Here I still sit waiting, waiting, and waiting.
luv outback, sadly disappointed 2-nite
I actually love outback however, before tonite. The wait was entirely too long. In the past I have praised them for having the best fresh crisp salads, tonite "not so much". I had the golden mahi mahi w/ artichoke hearts which were skimmed & the fish over-cooked. I told the server, she said " I wished u had told me earlier?" We were @ the point meadows location tonite & visited another location a couple of weeks ago, busy as well but excellent service & food! The staff tonite seemed overwhelmed & slightly frazzled! Especially our server. The front house staff, greeters & hostess were fine but who truly cares if the chef/cook fumbled the ball & the server seemingly doesn't care. Management @ Atlantic Blvd. Location may need to give the point meadows location some tips.
Edmonton Alberta Canada's Worst - don't waste your time
I visited this venue this evening, due to the fact that it had the shortest wait time available for dining in Edmonton this evening 12/30/12 and both our guests from Thailand and South Africa felt for Alberta beef. Wait time confirmed over the phone15-20 mins when we called in advance and made he booking telephonically. We where seated 45mins after we arrived. Decided to pass time at the bar, NO bartender. When we where finally seated, the waitress took the order and we were served the appetizers 20 mins later, at least 3 out of 6 of us.....finally we got served the balance of the appetizers with the main course..full rack of ribs with half to follow, medium fillet steak....ordered well done, medium rare ....ordered medium. We were then told "Sorry guys we are out of our signature " Blooming Onion".... I complained to the manager "Greg", which I called for and never saw on the floor until requested, saying that we last visited the place about 2 months ago and it had rapidly deteriorated, his reply, "not aware that the service levels had dropped" ....long story short the "part owner" Jerold Bedford... weighed in after being summonsed saying exactly this "...we are not understaffed, you should be glad I'm attending to your complains, were as I could have been off shift, at home in bed...rather than attending to this complaint, whats the problem?".......no respect for guests that were present at our and other tables. the worst place to dine, so much for before and after service....gives Edmonton dining a bad taste!! Pathetic that franchisees are still allowed to cater, knowingly damaging The Brand in this competitive age. The worst place to dine or enjoy a meal in Canada!!!! Outback is in front in a backward way!!
BAD COOK
I have eaten at meany outback steakhouse locations in the past and it has bin enjoyable. I have just bought a vacation house in Florianopolis Brasil. We were looking forward to a great night eating at the franchise here in Brasil on our anniversity. My wife orderd the house special steak. cooked med-well. I orderd the New York strip cooked Med-well done. Her meat was med done. Mine was VERY RARE bloody. I sent back and they cut the steak horizonally in half and cooked it well done. I had to send my steak back 4 times and 1 hour later to get them to cook it right. What cook would ruen a steak that way and work there I will never know. They never appoligized or expeedated the cooking wait. Good service VERY BAD COOK.
Kudos to orland park il outback
We were seated last Friday night next to a large table of men having their Christmas party. We had our 5 and 3 year old boys with us, and asked to be moved to a quieter booth. Needed the 6 seater we had 3 adults and the 2 kids. Busy Friday night, not anywhere to move us to. The manager herself tended to us thru out our entire meal, checking on us and making sure we were doing ok with the noise and all. My youngest son has sensory issue which makes it hard to relax in noisy places. They did try to find a table for us but it wasn't possible. The food was very good, hot and fresh. The service even on such a busy night was excellent. We hadn't been to an outback in many years. This particular experience will definitely bring us back. We don't get out often, was so nice that we had such a nice night out. Thank you to the manager at orland park Illinois outback steakhouse. Excellent service and excellent manager with excellent people skills. See you again soon:)
I ordered from the supposed ""new and improved" curbside pickup on 2/20/2013. I arrived at the time posted on the website and had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Paid the bill and tipped the server{mistake}. Got home and found they shorted me 2 salads, 2 soups, and 1 dessert. I immediately called the manager who apologized and offered "dinner on us". She took my information and told me a gift card would arrive in the mail by the weekend. Hah! I then posted a complaint on their website's Contact Us. It states all commments will be addressed and they promise to get back to you.Hah! I am now waiting for a return call from corporate offices. I shouldn't hold my breath from recent experiences. Outback has lost a customer.This Outback is in Hamilton, NJ. Stay away!!
