466 Reviews For Outback Steakhouse Headquarters & Corporate Office

Long time Outback customer, probably 15 yrs, at the Bethel Park, Pa. store. Went out for a birthday celebration with my family, expecting a decent dinner....we all left there, except my son, infuriated and promising to never return. I ordered the mahi/shrimp combo and immediately called the waiter over to give me a menu and showed him that the dinner had very little resemblence to the picture. I then ordered a steak that my son had that actually looked real good and he liked. What came out was a thin, tough piece of meat that I started to choke on. Not wanting to make a scene, I decided to just leave with the promise to my family and myself to NEVER,NEVER,NEVER,NEVER ever return to an Outback Steakhouse.

I was dining at your Arlington, VA location aks "Arlington Forest". Sunday early afternoon, 09-16-12 approx. 2 o'clock. I must say that nothing was right that day. We were seated at table 2. Our waiter finally came to deliver bread and take our drink order. The waiter seemed to be in a bad moood and very rushed. The restaurant was not busy at all. He took our food order and again with no friendliness. Food was just okay. I only tell you this because, I don't remember having a bad experience at your restaurants. I can only hope this is a one time problem and everything will be as usual the next time I visit. Thank you.

Hair in food lamb raw and they just ignored it

My family and I had ordered take out from Outback on September 1,2012 and it consisted of 3 orders of the No Rules Pasta with the large grilled chicken breast, and I asked for extra sauce for the noodles because in the past the pasta seemed to be a little on the dry side, I also ordered their Lettuce wedge with the crumbled bleu cheese with bacon and dressing and received a regular tossed salad that someone threw a few bleu cheese crumbles on top. Also when I ordered my pasta I asked if they could pack it inside of something that would transport very well, due to the poor packaging that they have to offer us and I was told okay.My husband went up the lindbergh to pick up our food from the hazelwood location and he brought the order back to the house and the bag was soaken wet with the juice that have came off the no rules pasta and I had requested ahead of time because I had a feeling that this would happen. Everything was soaked and I was very upset,I order from this location all the time and my family and I visit freqently. I called the store and spoken with a manager on duty and explain my concerns and she asked did I want to come back and she said she would take care of it, or she could replace my order for me at a later time and that she would mail out some meal coupons to my address and I told her that would be fine. So a week had past by and I hadn't received anything in the mail from Outback so I called the store on September 9,2012 and asked to speak with a manager on duty and I got a chance to speak with Ryan and he stated that he had just gotten back from a few days off and he asked me what my name was and I told him and he said that he had seen my name in the book that they were suppose to send me out some meal coupons and he apologized for it taking so long.So Ryan went into detail stating again that he just got back and he noticed that he didn't have any stamps and that he had to go out and purchase some and he had just dropped my envelope in the mailbox and I said okay.So I called the Lindbergh store on Thursday the 13th and asked to speak to a manager and I spoke with the young lady that I spoken with the first night it happen and I informed her that I had spoken with Ryan and he had stated that he mailed out my coupons on the 9th and informed the manager that I live down the street from Outback and it doesn;t take a week to recieve mail from the same area and she agreed with me and she said let me check the book and I can tell you if something has been mailed out to you because we have to keep a log book on it and she informed me that my name was no where to be found and she asked me who did I speak to and I told her Ryan and so I told her that I would like the corporate office number because I really wanted to call and complain about how customers are being treated and she asked me did I want to speak with Ryan again because he was in the store today and I said No because he has lied to me already and I didn't want to hear anymore of his lies. I was really out done when she informed me that Ryan was the owner of this Outback and I informed her that he doesn't care about customer service at his location and that word of mouth spreads fast and I will let people I know to not patronize that establishment anymore, I'll rather drive further out to another location than to give his store another dime. I wished that I had the money I would build a CHILLI'S right next door to his building!

Was at the Outback in Wayne, NJ end of August. Recently there are smaller portions at the same price. The salads are smaller. I ordered 1/2 portion of ribs. I received 5 tiny ribs that would have been good for an appetizer. The other thing that really makes me angry is when a waitress or waiter, sits down at your table, without being invited, to take your order. This is unprofessional and it is the ONLY restaurant that I go to that allows wait staff to become chummy with the customers. And when they're not sitting at an empty chair, they scrunch down and lean on the table to take your order. MY RESPONSE IS: GET UP, STAND UP, AND ACT PROFESSIONAL. IN OTHER WORDS, BE PLEASANT, ASK WHAT I WOULD LIKE, AND THEN LEAVE.

The Outback Steakhouse in Corpus Christi, Texas is by far the WORST place i have ever been to. I watched a employee sell drugs in the parking lot and the manager was too busy to come to my table. Cindy is a bitch.

I have never really taken the time to write a review but what I experienced was so gasping that I had to::: I and my son visited the Outback on 200 North Park Court off (Hudson Bridge Rd) in Stockbride Georgia on Sunday Sept 2 2012. Our waitress was awesome, very nice, enjoyable and attentive. However, there were a few problems when our food came out, son's fries were cold and burger luck warm. I wanted the blue cheese crumb salad with grilled chicken. (they really didn't have a made salad like that) so we worked it out, they brought me the salad and chicken on the side and I put it all together. When they say a wedge of lettuce, they really mean that, it was a bit much and my son said "Mom it looks like your fighting with your food" I laughed and said well this is what I wanted. The real issue and complaint is with the dessert. I ordered the cheesecake to go for dessert and was I SHOCKED when it came out. To charge $5.00 for a slither of cake is disgraceful and embarrassing for this company. The cheesecake was so thinly cut NO SAUCE and 4 small slices of strawberry. ****WHO SERVES THIS***** REALLY. I requested to speak with the manager and although it wasn't her fault-the lengthy explanation she provided was irritating. I asked her if she would either add another piece of cake and let me be on my way-----she stated all she could do was take it off the bill. This was very irritating at this point and it took another 15 min for her to do that before we could leave. This was very disappointing and left us both with a bad taste of service from this restraunt. We WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. The one thing I hate most is bad service as I TEACH customer service for a living. You as a corporation is out of touch with each location and you need to go "UNDERCOVER BOSS" to see first hand how this site and others are performing because this is a CORPORATE issue handed down to each site and it makes you look very BAD and shows great disrespect for your patrons. I really hope you guys do better than this in the future. VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER- I wish I could submit the pic of the cheesecake for everyone to see

I left the palm harbor Florida location after witnessing a Rude RGM at another table. After 11 years of loyal patronage I'm done with outback and their other brands . I'm in shock at his behavior !!!

Went to the Brentwood, Tn location for my birthday. I was happy to go there as in the past the food has always been satifying and delicious. Wow..big surprise for my birthday. We all ordered the new selection called the mahi and shrimp/scallop medley, also had a salad and cheesecake. The portion size was ridiculously small on the items...it would have been suitable for a child. Needless to say we left, after spending $80.00+ tip, hungry. I called the company to discuss the experience and after three tries got a call back from a rep who sounded bored and disinterested.I did all the talking. She said she never heard of our selection (what??) and never had one complaint concerning our selection!!! My comment after this experience...this company is out to take the customer over, they could less about your dining experience, and don't want to hear from you!!!! Very sad commentary on this once great restaurant...our advice, AVOID OUTBACK!!!! Won't go-back to Outback ever again!!!

We are usually pleased when we come to Outback Steakhouse here in town, but tonight they did not have the best welcoming crew. Usually, as you walk in the hostess are ready to seat you with a smile, but this time the manager viciously greeted us with a "We are going to be closing soon" without a smile on her face. We came in at 9:15, and this particular location closes at 10. It almost seemed as if we had to plead with her to get seated. This should not be a problem at all considering they close at 10. Finally, she seated us and thankfully the waitress was nice the rest of our visit. Another problem we encountered with the manager was that my daughter was coming to meet us here towards the end of meal. So, I politely asked the manager to let my daughter in when she came which was at 9:40, and she said that they would close the door and not let anyone in regardless. I was once again shocked at this rude treatment that was thrown at me for no reason. This certainly is not example of how a manager should carry themselves, not is it how a frequent customer should be treated at all. Management should definitely change ASAP!

Mishawaka Indiana Outback Steakhouse, manager Christy Is always unhappy face and is rude with customers. Her demeanor is always so not in touch with the customers . Christy keeps a off limits attitude as she makes rounds in the dinning room making customers feel like they're sitting in a boarding school being monitored by a superior who does not like to hear any pleasent comments from the customers who bring in the revenue for outback steakhouse. Christy does not look like she cares for the customers. I just hope to see some happy management faces at this location. Ilike outback menu.

We run a skeleton crew composing of 3 people running the line, before our KM left there were 6. while our cooks who should be cooking they are trying to do prep for the line, prep shifts do not exist any more. Being the busiest Outback in San Antonio, we should be fully prepared to help customers.

I have been going to the Outback Steack House for many years now, acually since it opened in the 90's. I have previously been very pleased as to the service and food at the Outback in Northridge,Ca. Infact, I felt that the owner really made sure of his Resturant...his son worked there too! I could order to perfection with no SALT OR SEASONINGS. I have not Celebrated my Birthday since 1993 as my mom died in 94 the day befoer my BDAY. I have celebrated my elderly dads BDAY and Anniversaries there. Also many parties and end of the year school parties. I rave at Weight Watchers about the place! NO MORE compliments after my experience on Friday August 17,2012!!! First of all I called ahead to determine if they still had the 6oz Special. I spoke to the Manager Desiree. She talked at great length with me as she remembered me from other parties and school group things that I had paid for. I explained that it was my BDAY. She was very pleasant and mentioned that the Menu was changing and that there would be some lunch specials and we might be interested. She also mentioned cards for free appetizers and to make sure to ask for her. She wanted to talk to my dad about his Masonic senior group. She took a reservation for 8-9 people. I told her I would let her know the exact amount the next day. August 17th we got to the Resturant and were seated. We immediately asked for Ice water for everyone as it was very hot and well over 100 degrees outside. Please not that no water came until after the Appetizers came out. @ rolls ofbread came out and we asked for more which we never did get.. At this time there were 7 of use and 2 more were on there way. I asked for Desiree the Manager. )She did not come to the table until much later after I went and got her_. We placed thee order for Appetizers. Asked for Water again and finally got it. The Appetizers we suppose to be the Quesadilla with no bacon and mild Chicken wings and my Shrimp on Barbe with no butter or seasonings. Please note that I order the shrimp all the time that way. Waitress left then came back and said she was going on a break? OK . Now someone else was there. We also asked again for the manager and she never got her. Thinking to myself she must be very busy or on a break. First of all the waitress began talking our orders. I told her we were getting the 6ox once $9.99 special. She first took my boyfriend mom order. Then she took another order and then I said my order and my fathers order and confirmed my 87year old boyfriends mothers order at which time she said, “no she had ordered the Filet something not the Special”. The order was then corrected. Please further not that at the time of the appetizers my boyfriends 87 year old mother was given a salad but had not ordered one she only asked about the salads and di not want a vegetable or potato and was told that she could substitute it. All orders we placed. All 8 of the steaks were with no salt and no seasonings added. My boyfriend ordered the Burger with no bacon. My order was 6oz steak plain potato as I was told there were no yams. Later food came out by a young man. He began placing plates down as if he knew what he was doing. He then preceded to call out Steak and String beans and my friend answered. Steak and veggies placing the plate down. Then came mine. He said Steak and potato with stuff on the side. I questioned him as I ordered Dry steak and potato with no seasoning and salt. I then asked him if he was sure that this was no Salt and seasonings. He said “yeah” I asked about one of the steaks he had put down as it looked quite a bit larger. He said it was correct. (Later we found out that it was not correct and was a bigger steak) It had took so long to place the order and then get the food the 2 people began heartily eating there wrong ordered food. I was concerned and touched my steak and felt the salt and could also see salt over the entire potato. My 82 year old father ‘s steak was incorrect it was seasoned and not medium as ordered. He was hungry and had to take medicine so ate a few bites of his. I sent mine back when our waitress came back. She had other found and placed it down. My boyfriend’s burger came out and he asked for mustard. He noted that the burger had bacon and then that it was raw inside too!. She was hungry and began eating it anyways. I asked for management again. I finally got up from the table and went to personally get the manager. She calmed me down as I held tears. My sugar was low and I felt sick. One person never did get her order. Our 3 orders were redone and then my steak came out raw and my coworker steak was burned the burger was fine. I then got up to get the manager again. I was very upset as now everyone was finished eating except for my co-worker and boyfriend and I still had no food! The manager Desiree personally was going to prepare my food. I went back to the table. I had Bday presents and a small sugarfree bakery cake sitting on bench. Ice tea had spelled while I was gone. Then water and Ice tea was spilled and cleaned up. My new blouse was stained and my cake was full of ice tea and fell on the floor when sill was being cleaned up. I did not know or realize about the cake until later. One of my guests who had brought the cake from MarVista Ca. Was told that everyone would get desert. Not to upset me she did not say anything to me. Finally my steak was brought out. It was thin so it would cook fast. It was terrible. It was the worst service and food I ever had!! Desiree was ultimately rude and told me that she we had made her waitress upset!! Well she was more concerned with the waitress that she was with the customers. Finally they then bought out ice cream and a candle. People were sitting and some were now in the Bathroom. We had been there well over 2 hours. I completely forgot about he cake that my friend was bringing. Everyone thought they were having ice cream and it never came. This was not the end. Then the bills came out. The waitress was so confused and tried to give the wrong bills to people. Originally I was going to take care of the tab on one bill. She then asked people without my knowledge and separated them. Bills were corrected and I went to get the manager. I had had it!! Desiree was ultimately rude and told me that she we had made her waitress upset!! Well she was more concerned with the waitress that she was with the customers! The manager said there was nothing she could do! Told us to talk to the Owner!!She had credited my steak, my co-workers overdone steak, my boyfriends hamburger. What about my dads incorrect steak or my friends incorrect steak which she ate that had seasoning!! What about trying to over charge people for things that they did not order???What about the cake!! I did leave my name and telephone number for the owner to call me. I called Saturday and was told that Bob would be in Sunday. Sunday I called as I had not heard back yet. I was told that he was on vacation. I was further told that Holly was someone from Main office and would be there on Tuesday August 21st. This was the Worst BDay and experience I have ever had!! I should never have chosen OUTBACK to celcbrate my BDAY!!!!!!

Went to Outback at Regency last night. BIG mistake, last visit! Ordered sweet tea, got unsweet. Asked for the soup of the day, server went and asked takeout, came back and said, "well, its been broccoli for the past 3 days." Ok, so does that mean, broccoli for a 4th or now that its been 4 days, its changed? She had to go check in the back. 10 minutes later, she came back with, "it is broccoli, but we are about to run out and it will be creamy onion, so you get creamy onion." It was so salty, I had to put tons of ice in it to water it down. Filet was purple!!! and I thought I heard a slight, "moo." Asked for NO sour cream on potato, guess what? The bloomin' onion was the only thing worth eating. I brought my filet home to finish cooking it myself. She was not a new server either. Total cost of this meal was 45.00!!! We will NOT be back!

We eat at the Panama City FL Outback every week almost, and have for over 10 years. I can't believe the negative reviews here - because OUR experience is TOTALLY the opposite. The food is great, the service staff feel more like family than 'servers', and the management is amazing. If there is a problem with food - and it's understandable that there can be - a manager IMMEDIATELY comes and asks what was wrong and what would make us happy - and then takes care of it whether it's a re-do or a charge removal. I feel bad that there are so many of these franchises who are not doing all they can to support the Corporate image of a 'Cheers' style family restaurant, but ours in Panama City FL IS that way. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries there, and we love our Outback. Ya'll come see US and them!

To Whom It May Concern: A friend of mine that is on the road weeks at a time eats at Outback on a regular basis. When I asked him why, he mentioned that there was value in what they were serving. Value and service were the key words that tempted my wife, son and I to try Outback again. We have been avoiding them for 6 or 7 years because of the bad, overpriced food we got in California. The food and service left a big negative impression. And as a pilot, I have always steered my crews aThat said, vacation was the perfect time to try again. And to be honest, I was somewhat excited to give it another try. The commercials must have worked and I was certain that even if the food was half as good as it looked on TV, it would be worth the trip. We selected carefully so that we were eating healthy but still respecting our vacation budget. After my selection, my wife ordered the Filet Wedge Salad* WWood-fire grilled petite filet with a cool, crisp wedge of fresh Iceberg lettuce, Blue cheese dressing, grape tomatoes, red onions, bacon and Blue cheese crumbles, drizzled with a sweet balsamic glaze. 12.99. Wow! Sounds good. Kind of pricey, but my wife was convinced that the value would be there. 10 minutes later it arrived and worthy of a photo. SORRY....PICTURE COULD NOT BE POSTED If you look closely, you can see the Blue Cheese and the drizzling of sweet balsamic glaze. And on the side surrounding the .89 cent wedge of lettuce, somewhat (leftover?) grape tomatoes. This letter is NOT to get a free dinner. Outback has my $56.00. That's done. The complaint to the very nice waitress went directly to the manager. Great! We were taken care of with another ounce of Blue cheese crumbles. Even the waitress was embarrassed! In fact, I was and still am somewhat embarrassed for her. But the end result is....Never Again! This really needs a look at by your company. If it were me, I'd pull it from the menu and send it back to the test kitchen. But I'm just the customer. Thanks for listening. KJ PS. My fish was cold....but how much can you complain?

We have been eating at the Outback in Rehoboth Beach Delaware for years. We just love it. Ryan the manager always speaks to us and asks us if we enjoyed our meal. We have seen at times, people being rude for no reason to him, and he is professional and quickly resolves any issues. Nelson the bartender is always so kind and excellent. Thank you.

Hello to all the Out-backers out there that enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere . I too love all these things about outback. I am from Ruffin NC and I go visit the Outback in Danville VA at least 4 times a month...The Manager Jimmy is so wonderful to talk with and if there is ever a problem he makes sure we leave as happy as we were when we walked in. My wife and I have 4 favorite servers and we want to share their names with fellow frequent visitors at Outback, they are Zach S, Kathy C, Sandi J, and Dawn T . We are so grateful to the entire staff their but if you ever get a chance to eat at the Danville VA Outback you need to ask for one of these servers....they go the extra mile to make us enjoy our meal and entertain us as well. Thanks again Outback for making us feel like part of the family you seem to have working for you.

I have work for outback for over ten years and cannot believe how much for the worst it has changed. For one there is no disipline or any kind of care for the customers food or the care of their employees. Time after time employees are being discriminated against and told names. Just yesterday I witnessed a cook cut himself through a plastic and a cutting glove and when he went to the manager, he was called a pussy and told to get back to work without having cleaned or bandaged the cut and work a ten+ hour work shift without a break. I have witnessed new " white employees" train and leave early and not have to close and then a "minority employees" "trained" without help and made to close onhis first shift. I have also seen a full sanitizer bucket with dirty towels floating in a back sink filled with blooms in water. And fish sit out for hours in end without ice. Messy floors and dirty work conditions. Unclean plates and hens. It makes me sick. Servers playing and joking around in the dining room. Servers eating off customers plates. I now do not work here anymore. I am tired of complaining to managers and them doing nothing about it and being one of a few who care about the cleanliness of the restaurant and not getting praised for a job well done when others who do poorly get promoted. I have pictures of all the above mentioned. Just thought everyone should be aware.

I have been calling customer relations for 1 week and no one will retun my call.
