My husband and I went to the Outback in Cincinnati, oHio and had a horrible experience, the waitress was dreadful, got everything from my drink to my husbands entree all wrong and did not even appologize for her mistakes. Our bloomin onion was uncooked and still had flour on it. Out bill was $60.00 and I promise I will never go near an Outback Restaurant again.
I want to warn anyone who wants to go to out to dinner at the Outback in Garland.. The proprieter Terri Stump doesn't run this resturant the way it should be ran... I have been there three and will not go back... I have even heard customers as they were leaving they wouldn't be back.. The waitress & waiters are so nice, but the manager or Proprieter is not friendly to people...including the staff which I have witnessed first hand. I have seen her treat them like they were worthless. Not only that, but she never smiles and she looks so unhappy all the time.. After 3 times I asked our waitress her name, because someone needs to know that she is like this before she ruins Outback Steakhouse name..I promise I will tell anyone and everyone to not go to this location it was not a pleasant experience. Hopefully you will look into this and not ignore the cituation at hand.
I am extremely angry that I was charged for a full rack of ribs and was served 1/2 a rack this evening (12/2/2010)at the Merrick Outback. I also cannot understand why it seems to be impossible to get a hot steak at your restaurants. Regardless of what Outback I visit, the service has deteriorated and the quality of the meat you serve has become substandard. Adding cheating customers on the portion size is simply the last straw. I will be forwarding this complaint to the Consumer Affairs Department of Nassau County.
I went to the outback in orange park ,fl instead of chili's like I originally had planned and had an awful experience. I ordered the outback special "med well" when the meal came out it was not cooked enough and it had grizzle through it. I showed the waiter he didn't act like he really believed me so right away I was thinking to myself oh boy here we go. The manager brought me another steak after I already ate my sweet potato and was full at this point, I cut into the steak while he was standing there and it was bloody, he also acted like I should say it's ok. I at that point told him I was done and was not happy at all, he said he was sorry. I thought about it for a few minutes and said to myself this is not acceptable, so I asked for the manager again. He came to the front and I told him that the whole experience was awful and that I would not be back if this is the way I am going to be treated, he didn't seem to care. Times are tough for alot of people out there and people should be treated with respect. And there are many restaurants in that area besides outback!

To everyone who bitched and comlained...do you realize that there are 500 million people on this planet who will never go out to eat...your petty complaint about a luxury meal gone wrong is so incredibly selfish and ungrateful it makes me sick...you do realize these people are human and might actually make a mistake once in awhile...further more, they're serving dinner, not saving lives!! GET OVER IT!!! But thank you for the laughs as I browse the web at 3am!! You're all pathetic!
First let me go on record by saying that I think Outback Steakhouse is the best...bar none, but.... The other day in Charleston WV, myself, my son, and 2friends went to an Outback Steakhouse before taking in a basketball game. We allowed ourselves plenty of time (we thought) and got in line on what was obviously a very busy night. We were informed that the wait would be 1 hour to 1:15 which we thought was still well worth it. We were finally called at 1:47. We went ahead and ordered as soon as the waitress came to the table because time was running short (which we informed her...). 40 minutes later we got our salads and 20 minutes after that we got our meals. We had to grab whoever walked by to request refills, and my son's meal had a baked potatoe instead of requested fries (which finally arrived at the end of the meal. My steak was cooked too fast (...what a joke) and was burnt on the outside. We didn't take time to complain because we were trying to get to our game. We missed the tipoff and the first 5 minutes of the game that cost way more than our very unsatisfactory meal at Outback. I may consider other establishments in the future...
My warning to all cancer survivors and to those who are battling cancer, and to those who are trying hard not to get cancer beware of the column that reads something to the effect "fresh from the sea" or something close to that. I recently saw a show that dealt with salmon, fresh vs pond raised. well I don't think that you can get better salmon that that at outback with the romenade sauce. It is #1. But it comes at a cost. They buy pond raised salmon. Now the program I saw talked about how all pond raised fish, including salmon, are fed antibiotics and drugs to keep them healthy until time to harvest. All of these chemicals have the potential to cause cancer in humans. Then, with salmon, there is a "paint chip dial-similar to the paint store-" with shades of the salmon color for the farm producers to pick the color of dye to use (farm raised salmon is a grayish white in color, wild salmon has that natural salmon pink color from the lychen and other things they eat that aren't found in ponds, only in the wild) then they dye the fish, guess the dye has the potential to cause cancer also because the menu does not divulge that the fish are USDA inspected and the chemical/dyes approved for safety-that they will not cause cancer. as a cancer survivor this is not something I want in my system anymore. AN AS FAR AS I SEE IT, THEY ARE FALSE ADVERTISING WHERE THE SALMON IS COMING FROM, AND HIDING THE FACT THAT THE SALMON IS FARM RAISED. BUT THEY WILL TELL YOU IF YOU ASK IT. BUT WHY HIDE THE TRUTH ON THE MENU? I WONDER IF ALL THE SHRIMP AND OTHER SEAFOOD ITEMS ARE FARM/POND RAISED ALSO, SINCE THEY HAVE A FARM FRESH CORP OFFICE. I WOULD SUGGEST THEY OWN UP TO ALL THE UNTRUTHS ON THEIR PRESENT MENU BECAUSE THE EDUCATED PUBLIC SEE IT FOR WHAT IT IS, AND THEN REDO THEIR MENU TO REFLECT THE FOODS THEY OFFER "ACCURATELY" :FARM POND RAISED SALMON....etc...... TOO BAD THIS SITE ISN'T AFFILIATED WITH THEM BACAUSE I TOO GOT A BUSY SIGNAL WHEN TRYING TO CALL.
LET'S HOPE THE ADMIN. APPROVES MY PRIOR EMAIL. I FEEL MY EMAIL WARRANTS THE SAME AMOUNT OF EXPOSURE AS THE OTHERS, IT IS ONLY THROUGH MY EXPERIENCE WITH CANCER THAT I BECAME AN ADVOCATE FOR SAFE FOOD. I BELIEVE YOU NEED TO REWRITE YOUR MENU, OWN UP TO WHAT IS INACCURATE IN A HIGHLY VISIBLE MANNER SO ANYONE THAT HAS EATEN THERE WILL HAVE ACCESS TO THAT INFO, NOT BURIED IN SMALL PRINT SOMEWHERE. THE DOWNSIDE TO PONDRAISED FOODS ARE BECOMING MORE AND MORE HIGHLY VISIBLE AS PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING TO KNOW WHAT IS IN THEIR FOOD, AND POND RAISED FOOD IS NOT AS HEALTHY AS ONCE WAS THOUGHT SINCE IT TAKES SO MANY CHEMICALS TO KEEP THEM HEALTHY UNTIL HARVEST. SO THE FOOD ON YOUR MENU THAT COMES FROM THE POND NEEDS TO SAY SO, OR YOU AREN'T TRUTHFULLY ADVERTISING WHERE IT IS COMING FROM. PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW SO THEY CAN MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS.
To start with i have been calling the corp. office for 2 daysat all times of the day all i get is a busy signal. The service was a joke period so much that i could not list all of it. The manager is even more of a joke hes rude, stupid and has no idea what CUSTOMER SERVICE is all about.Im being nice to.The outback in Ashland Kentucky will be closed i'm pretty sure in no time ,because they will have no more bussiness,i'm teling everyone i know about the terrible food ,service and the ignorant manager. ps I would like a reply from this submit marlene bourdeau
We hadn't been to Outback in a couple of years and decided to give it another try. My steak was Rare and cold but our server was so busy that I couldn't get her in time to return it (I ordered Medium Rare). What really took the cake was that my husband and I were sitting at a 6 top that had a bench that backed up to the bar wall and he was sitting on the chair side. 3 girls came and intruded on our meal by sitting with us as they had friends being seated at the 4 top next to us. one girl pushed my stuff on the table over and pushed her purse against me as she sat RIGHT next to me on the bench!!! the manager didn't seem all that shocked at the miscommunication by her hostess (they were told they could have the table when we finished our meal). she never asked them to move but instead brought my husband the check. Guess I won't be having dessert. It was a JOKE!!!! Oh, and the classy girls asked "if we had a problem". Ummmmm.....yes, you are sitting at OUR table in OUR personal space!!!!
My wife and I have always enjoyed the food at Outback and their desire to keep their customers satisfied bodes very well with me so you will understand why I am deeply disappointed in a situation I've had with Outback recently. I was lucky enough to win one of their online sweepstakes prizes (a $75.00 gift card) and when I was notified via email from Outback Rewards to tell me of my win, they said it may take 6 to 8 weeks to receive my prize via mail but there was nothing I had to do other than wait for my prize to arrive. Well, the 8 weeks have come and gone and I've emailed Outback's customer service a total of THREE times and still haven't received any answer to my question of where my prize is. I have only had the 'generic' answer of "your email is important to us and we will respond within 3 business days".......well, those 3 business days have come and gone twice and STILL NO ANSWER! What kind of way is this to do business? If someone doesn't contact me (or better yet, send the prize to me priority mail), I'm afraid we have had our last dinner at Outback.
Went to Outback in Granada Hills CA tonight. Got Take-a-way: 2 Outback Cheeseburgers, well-done. One steak griller. When we began to eat, both burgers were completely raw inside!! The fries were limp and not even warm. The steak in the steak griller tasted terrible! Like old meat...and NOT FRESHLY COOKED..Awful meal.......
The main man Bill Hastings in the Center street store in Omaha is a complete moron. I eat there once in awhile because i have a friend who works there. He is always rude, and from what I heard he lost a lot of his 'best' employees because he screwed them over. One of those employees went elsewhere and supposedly staged a small coup, which he took a few of the other 'bests' with him. And a month later his assistant manager threw the keys at him. Just avoid the center street store in Omaha, because this guy is a real jerk from what i have seen and heard.
Have never had a bad experience until yesterday. Outback in Lantana,Florida. I asked for my steak to be medium well. First they ask if they can butterfly it, I say yes. When I get it, it is red in the middle. I understand from other persons who went there, that the chef only believes steaks should be rare of med. rare. So when they say cooked to your specifications, NOT TRUE. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin. It was salty mush. HORRIBLE. We could not complain, because we were guests of another person and we didn't make a fuss. I will also report this to the main office, when I get home from Florida.
Thank You so much fro bringing the Cinnamon Oblivion Back!!! You have made me happier than you could ever know :0)!!!
I love the outback. I was VERY displeased with my last visit. The waitress and manager on dudy were very rude and univiting.I have been a manager in the resterant buisness for many year's. This was the first time EVER i got up and left my drinks on the table and did not order food.I was sad i really wanted to eat there. Bad servis good food.
Outback was my all time favorite resturant at one time. I have never had a bad piect of steak. I live in CT and went to outback in the begining of Oct. I ordered the outback special. It was the worst piece of steak I had ever eaten. I sent it back and again the same situation. I took one bite and it was horrible. Some of friends went to outback and told me they had the same situation. It tasted like it was pre cooked food. I have worked in a resturant before and it deffinately tasted like it was pre cooked and heated in the microwave. Never again. Texas Road house here I come.
I love Outback. My favorite soup is the creamy onion. I was wondering why doesn't all the location carry it? I'm from San Antonio and would to know which ones carry it. Thank you.
The Outback steakhouse in Brandon, is an awful place to work for, there's sexual harassment constantly going on, favoritism! The managers, hang out and drink with the staff, Especially the manager Amanda King, she can be seen in pics on Facebook drinking, dancing and etc with employees, mostly with Erica P a server and bartender. its ridiculous! If your not in their little 'click' your screwed! Amanda King is awful at snapping at you and showing her favoritism. I've been with the Outback for over 5 years and this is the worst management staff I've ever worked with.
This is to Michael who thinks that everyone on this site complaining about their food or service is pathetic. I work very hard for my money and when I decide to go out for dinner I expect my food to come out right and for my server to at least be pleasant. Yes, mistakes can happen and I understand that and expect the restaurant to make it right. If they don't, I have every right to complain....Outback is not giving this meal away for free, I AM PAYING FOR IT. I am sorry for whatever reason you cannot afford to dine out, Michael. But calling those who can pathetic, is just that.
