HAd dinner at Outback in Opelika, Alabama last night. The food was fine. Nothing great, but fine, steakhouse fare. The service was awful. Once seated, our server approached and was loud and sat down at our table. We were waiting on other guests and informed her we wanted to wait. Then we ordered some water. It finally came. Our other guests arrived. It was fifteen minutes before she came back to take our orders. And she didn't bring them water until LONG after we ordered. Our drink orders, btw, were a bit of a chore. We wanted a beer and a glass of wine at the happy hour price. We had been told that HOUSE WINES were the ones on the special. But there is no indication in the drink menu which is the HOUSE wine. Then we asked for beer prices. She did not know. We specifically asked about the price of the 22oz. She went to bar or somewhere and came back and told us the price of the 10oz. But that all were different prices, so to look in the drink menu. The drink menu does not list beer prices at all. Finally we got it settled. (At this point there was still no water on table for the other guests). Salads arrived. Mine was wrong - I had asked for dressing on the side. They took it back. Meals arrived. They were fine, cooked to order. The server came back to often and LOUDLY asked if everything was ok. Wish she would have just left us alone. Overall? I would not go back. The food wasn't great enough to make enduring the bad service worth it.

We have always liked Outback, but the last year or so we have noticed a definite decline in the quality of their food and a definite increase in their prices. We were at the Outback in Las Vegas near the outlet mall. Three people for lunch, I ordered the french dip on focacia. Literally there was one slice of meat and I had to look for that. The salad was spread out so thin on a plate that when pushed together might have equalled 1/2 of a cup. When I mentioned to the food server her comment was thats just the way we make them now. Alice springs chicken you could have eaten 3portions it was so small. 78.93 was the bill. No extras . Really never going back soon Outback will just be a memory.

Visited an Outback located in Midlothian, VA where I ordered the 6 oz. sirloin, a salad, and rice as the sides. In addition, ordered asparagus as a third side for .99- coffee and a slice of carrot cake was also ordered. The server delivered the ticket which reflected a total of 21.79. After review of the ticket I noticed a charge of 2.99 for the salad, which was one of the included choice of sides. I requested my server explain the charge of a side item that was included in meal. He explained that 1 of the 3 sides had to be charged, yet the asparagus was listed as .99 extra w/ a meal. The server obviously was frustrated & volunteered to have manager come over. Dave Bowe- manager repeated the same thing as server, even though I showed him my understanding from a customer's perspective. He became defensive although not warranted. I explained how I was seeking an understanding in order to proceed with payment. I verified my order with Jason the server prior to order being submitted. I informed the manager Dave Bowes that a follow- up with corporate office on this matter would be conducted after his sarcastic, defensive, unnecessary posturing. A customer seated directly behind me complained about their meal & he handled them without all the antics. The ending to my meal was unfortunate because the meal was enjoyable. Dave didn't seem to care about me contacting corporate office due to him making it known that he is the owner. Well, let this be a lesson 101 to all managers regarding your obligation of providing quality customer service no matter whose right or wrong.

Had dinner at outback in farmington hills michigan location. I ordered a half rack of ribs. When it came to my table i laughed at the portion. For 11.95 i got four ribs. Are you kidding me? Im a professional butcher and i will tell you a full rack has fourteen ribs so a half should have seven. It looked like a damn kiddie meal. Spoke with the manager a male with a goatee and black hair and he didnt want to hear anything. He kept interupting me and cutting me off. He finally opened his ears when i told him ive sold ten thousand racks in three years and dont bullshit me. Ultimatly he tried to tell me he would bring me three more ribs and that would give me a full rack. My brother inlaw then jumped in and said dude thats a half rack seven is half of fourteen and fourteen is a whole rack. Our waitress was great but i can tell you the manager couldnt run a burger king.

Picked up dinner at curb side. Came home, and found that once again, the sweet potatoes were missing. When Plantation Outback was called, some manager, and I `use the term loosely, practically insinuated that I must be incorrect about the missing spuds. Give me a break. All I had was an unused container of brown sugar butter. Stay away from Jeffery at this Outback in Plantation, Florida.

I believe I need to let you'll know about manager Chris F at the dunwoody location in Atlanta, GA. I don't agree with a lot of things that happen at work but the main one is his preference with his stuff. There is a little group he let's get away with anything. For example showing up to work late, switching schedule last minute and the behavior between employee at work. Just last week someone got fired cause they showed up to work late yet their are other that every week show up late and they still work there. That's not right nor fair. As a manager he should be fair all across the table and learn his to control his team instead of hanging out with them after hours n all the other inappropriate behavior that be happening with his servers. I hope things change cause I don't believe It's right that there is preferences at work.

i wish i could take a picture and post it here of the meals we just ordered from the out back for take out $45. i cant believe this place is still in business. my dog ate both meals and we went to the small local restaurant down the road named good tymes (plug)..the second time i have been to the out back and said i will never go back and i mean it this time...

Sad to say but I will never eat at another outback establishment. I vacationed in Islmaroda Florida. Took my IPAD 2 in the restaurant to avoid it getting stolen from my hotel room. However, I left it on the table long as enough to get in my car and before leaving the parking lot realized I did not have it. Went back to find the table cleaned and my IPAD missing. Two supervisors on site, only one came out to speak to us about it. She attempted to tell me that all night the bus boys were on sight. One of her very own employees stated if she knows where he is ask her where is he now? When I asked her she stated out to the bar. My girlfriend and I went to the bar and he was nowhere to be found. We later found that he was staying at the onsite hotel Hamptopn Inns and Suites. When asked to have his room searched. We were basically told there was nothing that can be done. The supervisor was rude and treated me not as the victim of theft, but she would not even take my phone number and name just in case someone decided to turn it in. I was distraught as it was a gift freom my daughter with memories of moments that you can get back. My husband abd I have agreed that we will never eat from outback again and will tell our story every chance we get. Iyt is a shame that the waitress that is serving you is a theft and at the end of the night the food makes you sick because of the way I was treated!!!!!

Three stars for the quality of food. But sorry, ZERO for the server we had. We try to make the Sebring Florida location a regular stop for out weekly 'eat out' group which usually consists of from 6 to 12 persons. Tonight we had six. We called in for the 'call ahead' seating, arrived just prior to the time given, the table (not booth) we requested was not ready. After being reushered to the waiting area by the entrance, we were finally seated at a table. After approximately five minutes the server appeared for out drink order. Very simple order, five waters and one iced tea. Another five minute wait for that. No sweetners for beverages were on the table. Had to ask twice for those. Then the wait to place the order. . . . more than twenty minutes. Finally the server came and took the orders, and they were delivered in reasonable time for preparation. Not once did the server return to the table to check on any needs. From visual observation, this server was very 'preoccupied' with another table of the same number of customers as ours, and appeared to be much more concerned about their needs rather than those of her other customers. Furthermore, whenever we have visited this location, at sometime during our visit the manager would always visit the table to check on satisfaction, etc., tonight, not once . . . . The restaurant was not overly crowded for a weekday evening, nor did the wait staff appear to to be shorthanded. It is my hope that the quality of service improves at this location.

My family and I visited the Outback steakhouse in Cheyenne Wyoming, our experience summed up in one word was incredible. Our server was Aaron D, he was by far the most polite, pleasant, and overall best server I have ever had period. He had the most professional personality but at the same time extremely like able and approachable. He took the order for our three year old knowing how impatient kids get, the appetizer came soon after he apologized for the timing but I don't think he realized how perfect his timing was. I asked for a drink with limes and cherries and he said he added grenadine....as silly as it sounds it made a huge difference, his little touches of personality and class is what made our experience above and beyond. I am impressed and when we come back we will lays request him. You guys have a phenomenal staff member. Aaron thank you! In a world where we always acknowledge negative experiences I wanted to share my positive experience.

I thought I was the only person not happy with the Outback but after reading the other reviews I see am not alone. Service was great at Cape Coral Outback but who purchases the steaks? Poor quality and grizzily. I have a number of friend that feel the same as I do. We will not be back!! Remember you only stay on top as long as you have good service and great food.

YOU F***ING SUCK! WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOUR PEOPLE TRY AND DROP OUR (SERVERS) PAY, OVER 2.00? WHO IN THE HELL DO U THINK YOU ARE?!?!? THANK GOD OUR LEGISLATION THINK ITS BS AND WILL HOPEFULLY JUST LAUGH:) I THINK WE WILL START A PROTEST AT OUR LOCAL OUTBACK'S LIKE THEY ARE IN MIAMI. IF IT BY SOME CRAZY WAY IT DOES PASS, WHAT ABOUT THE CRAPPY SERVERS WHO DONT MAKE AT LEAST 10.00 &HR, YOUR CORP. WILL HAVE TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE! I HOPE THE ONES WHO ACTUALLY READ THIS NEVER EAT AT OUTBACK AGAIN, AND YOU TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW NOT TO EITHER!!! ANY SERVERS, BARTENDERS, ETC. IM SURE YALL ARE PISSED AS WELL!!!!

Its pathetic that the management in dunwoody location can't address there problems the right way. I have already told management and have contacted corporate about the problems going on at work but it seems that nobody cares. I find it really messed up that the manager in outback can not take care of the issues in their own resturate. I informed them about Erin not in a discret way just for them to know what was going on in their place, yet all they did is talk to her and laugh about it. She approched me about it and said how could I have don that. Why did they have to tell her someone said something about it. She knew I knew and knew I was the one to say something about it. I don't want to get in trouble or want problems at work. I just thought it was important for the maager to know and corporate also. Its sad to over look thing once it happens over and over again. For example the chrismas party yeah corporate found out what happen that day yet nothing was done. Their was drinking and inproper dancing and touching yet nobody did anything. And if anything its the same group that is involved in the drama over and over again. Well if anything I recommend for something to be done cause here it seems like nobody can actually take some action.

We went to the Outback in Baton Rouge, LA this past weekend..we had not been to Outback in about 2 years and it was to a differnet location in the same city. When we went 2 years ago my husband and I both ordered the Victoria's Filet. When the steak arrived we had this little cheap, flat piece of meat. I called the manager over, who tried to convince me that was indeed the filet but they used a steak press to make it cook faster. Then he comped our appetizer. So this weekend when we went, (only because we had a gift card) we tried a different location, but and I told my husband I was not going to order the filet, so I ordered instead the ribeye. My husband on the other hand ordered the filet. When they brought our meal out, the potatoe and steaks were extremely small and my husbands filet looked like a cheap piece of meat you would get from Waffle House. He told the manager that was not a filet, because it was filled with fat, and filet's do not have fat they are a center cut piece of meat, secondly the meat was only about 1/2 an inch thick. This time the manager took my husbands meal off the ticket, but it will be the last time we go. I don't know who Outback is trying to fool, but it is ashamed that people are paying all this money for a filet and they are not getting what they paid for!!!! Shame on you Outback!!!!!

My husband and I visited the Outback SteakHouse in Chesapeake VA. When we arrived, we were informed that we would have a 90 minute wait. We decided to wait the 90 minutes. After about 30 minutes, another couple arrived and the wife was complaining to the manager about the rudeness of the hostess when she called to reserve a time. The manager did all but kiss her behind to make them happy. Still waiting for our table, the couple that were complaining managed to get a table before us. I took the beeper back to the hostess and informed her that we were eating elsewhere. I did speak to the manager, only to be told that they called ahead and got no apology for our wait time. This will be the last time we dine at Outback.

Curbside Takeaway at the Traverse City Outback is pathetic. The portions were SO small! I mean I seriously had three pieces of lettuce in my salad. I thought it was a joke it looked like they started filling my salad and ran out of lettuce or something. My side of green beans was 5 green beans...5! I doubt they would have the nerve to deliver that to someone's table that could call them out about it so they reserve the tiny portions for the curbside. I also showed up right on time and sat in my car for about 10 minutes with no one coming out. I then went inside and waited another 12 minutes for someone to come over to me. I worked at Carrabbas for 4 years, right next to an outback and did carside myself before serving tables and my management would NEVER have allowed for that... Also we didn't feed people table scraps, we gave them the meal they paid for. We have $150 of giftcards to use and are saving them to instead use at a different restaurant in the chain sometime.

I went to the outback while out of town with my daughter for an extremely important, once in a lifetime deal. After arriving to NJ late, the Outback was the only thing around that was open so we went and I was the only one at our table to have steak. About 45 min later, I was in the bathroom sick for for 4 hours. Afterwards, I felt horrible and with no sleep, I still had to get up at 7am. I suffered all morning, not being able to participate with my daughter b/c of this food poisoning. I emailed Outback, a manager called me back and doubted what I was saying because all their meat is fresh. He said he was sending me a gift card to try them again and 1 1/2 months later..I haven't received anything. It seems people say anything to get you out of their hair.

I was recently in the Kalamazoo, Michigan Outback Steakhouse and I enjoyed my meal, but the hospitality and professional was not up to expectation. I have been coming in to Outback Steakhouse for years and the staff has seem to change. One experience I remember the last time I was in at outback Steakhouse in Kalamazoo, Michigan was when it was my Husband's 40th Birthday and I took him to Outback and once we walked through the door, This African American boy with a nice shaped afro greeted us with so much Happiness and he made us feel right at home. He walked us over to our table with a great conversation and he made us feel more comfortable. We sat down and our server hadnt been over to us, so he noticed it and got us started with some coke products. That experience alone led me to coming back to this outback steakhouse. I was really looking forward to coming back to see his bright face open the door for me, but my server knew exactly who I was talking about and said he no longer worked for Outback Steakhouse. This was really a bummer. But my experience was not so good like the last one. The Bathrooms had napkins and soap all over the counter in the bathroom and it was just not like the same Outback 8 months ago.

I have a family member that works at the Kalamazoo Outback Steakhouse and I was recently informed that the Kalamazoo Michigan Outback Steakhouse General Manager, Nicole Hatfield, does drugs( On shift and when she is off the clock). I also know that she had sexual intercourse with a dishwasher( Employee) in the restaurant on a table and still is employed at the Kalamazoo Outback Steakhouse. My niece also informed me on how she has her favorite employees and favortism them due to the fact Nicole Hatfield was a server here at the Kalamazoo Outback Steakhouse and moved up to be a General Manager here at the SAME outback steakhouse where she had friends at. I believe this is really unprofessional for a manager and this should really be dealt with differently than it's being handled. You guys need to secretly investiage both management at the Kalamazoo, Michgan Outback Steakhouse. I will not step foot into that Kalamazoo Outback Steakhouse until you guys get new management. So you guys are going to loose both me and my family business and my friend's business. If you guys have any questions, please contact me at NancyHtchbrg68@yahoo.com
