i stayed at the motel 6 in omaha neb and the bathroom was in bad shape and need to to be repaired and the staff was rude and had a bad attited , the only one thas good and respectful was BART
My sons have been working in Lenexa, Kansas and staying at Motel 6 in Lenexa since July 2, 2012 and for no reason they have to leave tomorrow, I guess you can only stay a month, no where is it written the length of time you can stay, and no will give them a reason why, they pay weekly. They work all over the Unites States and first time and the last time they will ever stay at a Motel 6, after reading the above reports your CEO should get involved, I travel a lot along with my family and I guarantee you we will never use Motel 6
On 7/27 I recieved a call from Motel 6, which I returned 3 times but no one picked up. Upon my arrival back at the motel approx 6PM I was locked out of my room and I needed my asthma medication desperatly! When I went to the front desk I was told I had left 3 Chihuahuas (in clean crates with beds and water bottles) but the were unattended and I was to leave within 30 minutes or the police would be called. The gentleman stated there was no such thing as unforseen circumstances, unattended pets were kicked out. I stated I would have to drive 11 hours to return home (SD) and both desk clerks stated they didn't care. I am a 60+ woman who was singled out because the people at the desk knew they could easily intimidate me. There were 50 rooms rented to dog show people but I was singled out and discriminated against. I will post this on Facebook and the AARP feedback site. I was a USDA compliance officer for 30 years and I will turn my complaint into the WI State HRI division. Two AKC judges were also staying there, one witnessed how clean I left my room. The judges will sign my letter of complaint of my treatment in a formal complaint to AKC and the Milwaukee Kennel clubs. A friend inquired if crated dogs could be left while she walked to Perkins to eat and she was told absolutely not.
glenview IL - "newly remodeled" bathroom door damaged, not replaced; room door sticks;screen on window damaged and sagging; base of window beat-up, dryrot? several junction boxes, switches partially or wholly blocked off; needs more outlets for cell phones, computers, games etc. Painter didn't mask, slopped paint on headboard, junction box; somebody's relative got the job? This took me maybe 20 minutes to discover. I have spent far too much time on a money pit ==nd know how stupid and unnecessary bve beens is. And Cheesy!! Guys, I really like Motel 6 and loved the upgrade deal I've been to upgraded motels whch were wonderful. This is not it!! .. but you must deliver upgrade!!! I had a reservation for 07/29/12 I got to indy at 3 am and had to stay outside in the cold and couldn't che ck into my room until 5 am wh o does. that obviously motel 6 does. I thought you said you would keep the light on for me I would not recommend motel 6 for anyone who is traveling from state to state I'm going to put this on facebook twitter and everything else about this 0 stars.
I just watched a NEWS story Here In Ohio about a Black Man reporting your Company for putting a message on the TV screen "Welcome the N Word" then you were going to remove him for letting the Local NEWS station into his room to film this. I will NEVER stay in your Hotels. I will tell every one I know to Stay Away from Your Company. Shame On you. You told him it will take 30 days to do anything about it. I'm changing my travel plans now to NEVER stay in your Hotels.
0 stars...terrible Motel 6 Seattle Airport South *Room door had evidence of previous kick in, frame reatteched with finishing nails. *Phone did not work. *Sink did not drain. *Doors to alleys propped open all night. *Trash piled at all entrances except front. *"Free" shuttle ran once an hour, not when you called for it. *"Free" shuttle did not run at all if you arrived 12-4a.m. *Bedsheets had cigarette burns *No hair dryer, shampoo or coffee in rooms.
Carpinteria South Motel 6: We had 3 rooms for 2 nights. One had to be vacated as water was leaking from the ceiling. After over 10 years of summer vacations with friends and family there, we will never stay there again. The number given above at eCommerceCorporate is not correct...as others have noted above. It is the # for Red Rood Inn. It's been 3 weeks and we've heard nothing from Corporate, which I snail mailed, emailed, and phoned. The desk clerk was rude to me when I asked for more pillows. When I asked her name, she hung up on me. I went to the office where I was told there was no one there but her and she couldn't leave the desk to get pillows. I went back to my room and the phone rang...hang up. Rang again...no one, hang up. Went back to the office and asked if she had called us. She said no, but who else? She felt I was calling her a liar because I said I couldn't believe they had no extra pillows available...that is was unfathomable. She yells at me, "There! See? See? You're calling me a liar!" I said, "How dare you yell at me! I AM the one paying YOU!" She said, "How dare you yell at ME! Get out of my office." I took a business card and started writing what she was yelling...again, "Get out of my office or I'll call the police." I finished writing...she called. Within 5 minutes, the sheriff was there. I told him what happened. I am a mother, grandma, teacher...we were playing Password with my family, not partying or making noise... Just called management. They are giving us 1 free night, 1 room, for our troubles. UNBELIEVABLE! We will NEVER, EVER stay at a Motel 6 again.
The motel 6 located in memphis tennessee off of sycamoreview is just down right disgusting!!.on july 26 2012 I brittney henderson checking into room 136.after laying in the bed naked the sheets started coming off. As I went to pull the sheets off to fix the bed I saw two huge stains that appeared to be blood. That is the most disgusting thing ever.on my way to return to room 136 after complaining about the bed I went pass room 144, and notice the room was filled with brand new mattresses.I am outraged at this!! And yes I will be seeking legal actions against them!!
we stayed at the destin Florida Motel 6 and it was by FAR the WORST place we have ever stayed! For 117.00 a night we had wet moldy carpet,gnats all in the room, nasty towels and the air in the room was so musty that my kids suffered asthma attacks! When I said something to the front desk about all the issues their response back" yeah we know about the carpet and stuff. For some reason the back rooms are having ventalation issues and we havent figured out yet what the cause is" SO they knew there were major issues and they STILL rented these rooms out. On top of everything else. The drapes were partially open and some man from the premises kept looking in the room! WTH! About 8ish that night some drunk woman came up to the door as I was sitting outside to get fresh air accused me of being in HER room and wanted to know why I was there! Later that night around 1:30 am we heard screaming and crying and looked out and seen the same woman being arrested for being under the influence. When I went to turn the kwy in for the room I told the front desk clerk all the things that had occurred she said there wasnt much that they could do about any of it but that she could move me to another room! Are you kidding me? I refused to stay another night in this place. I felt unsafe, had bites all over our ankles and ended up with a respitory infection because of the moldy smell we had all inhaled. You would think that being on a popular strip in Destin FLorida that this place would have been NICe but instead it was like a really bad nightmare. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bereau and emailing the Helth department in that state of this place. SO for anybody looking or thinking of staying at teh Destin Motel 6 on HWY 98..drive a bit down the road and theres a REALLY nice Comfort Inn!
My family (mother and infant daughter) have been staying at Motel 6's when we travel. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with the Motel 6 in Ardmore, OK #4602. The first room they put us in the air conditioner didn't work. Inconvienced moved us to another room. Well it was full of flies, found out later there had been a dead body in that room. Thought it was awfully funny they were putting a new mattress in a room so late at night. Inconvienced again they move us to yet another room. Which smelled of smoke (suppose to be a NON-SMOKING room). The clerks response was well sometimes they smoke in here. I have an allergy to smoke, I have COPD and also did not want my baby exposed to smoke. Inconvienced again they finally found a room that was half way decent and comfortable. All the room we were in were dirty and needed vacumming. It was a terrible experience and I expect some type of compensation if you expect me to ever stay in a Motel 6 again.
I stayed for one week at the the Studio 6 In Dallas. 2395 Stemmons Trail. The room was filthy, and the towels were beyond belief. I truly believe if i had used one, I might had caught some terminal disease. Never did i get any house keeping what so ever, I can't believe I survived a week there. I paid for the internet and could not stay connected. I will never stay at this location ever again, and will be very leary of other locations. I know this complaint will go totally unnoticed, but i feel the nned to do it anyway.
I am staying at a Motel 6 right now. I have been here for two weeks. We are paying $60 a night for an ok room and terrible service. I have a baby and I had been asking them for a week to get me a fridge and microwave for the babys milk and food. FINALLY after 8 days and my husbands getting a little stern did we see action. The maid is nice but we have never had our room touched. We take out our own trash and we mop and sweep WITH THE MAIDS TOOLS. And there is no way that the owner can act all innocent because she watched us do it. We are offered towels each day but they are the cheapest, roughest towels known to man and they are stained with God knows what. YOU CAN LOOK UP THE ROOMS IN AN IMAGE SEARCH ON GOOGLE.....MOTEL6 SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY There is a short in the outlet next to my bed and I have talked to the clerk a few times about it. It does not work always and it throws sparks. That is a fire hazard and we are on the second floor. Yes they have remodeled. There are laminate floors and nicer beds and furniture, but they are soaking the floors as they mop and they are swelled and uneven. If not for us keeping it clean it would be full of bugs. The beds are comfortable I have to give them that. The TVs are new but they are very dull and it has to be dark to see it. There are very few channels and the internet goes in and out. I am a college student and I need good internet. The workers are all nice, but any of the owners, or her husband are rude and uncaring. This place is full of people who live here full time as well and they party at night. The other day there was a woman who destroyed her room. I mean broke windows and mirrors, she even bust the new tv. Crazy ppl here.
i am an employee with motel 6 and i wouldnt let my worst enemy stay there it is horrible they treat there employees just as bad if not worse then there guests.on 7.15.12 an employee was assalted on the clock and property and managers did nothing. they arent washing there sheets they r using water to wash there sheets thats why they r stained. this is the worst company that i have ever worked for in my life cant believe that they allow this to go on
I attempted to stay at a motel 6 Shreveport #2005 I-20 at Industrial Loop, Exit #8 7296 Greenwood Road Shreveport, LA 71119. When I went to check in it was late(around 11 pm) and I was tired. After waiting forever for the lady behind the counter to get me a room I was told several times that they cant give me a room. When I asked why she didn't have an answer. After about 10 minutes she gave me a room. I was ready to go to bed. When heading back to my room there were tons of people sitting just outside my door with music blasting. I went to put the room key in the door and when I opened it there was a guy standing in the room asking my what the hell I was doing there. I replied I just rented this room and the front dest gave me the key. He said that he had been there all day and that was his room. When I went to front desk to get a refund she was very rude and refused to help in anyway. Only after I told her I would be calling corporate office did she help me and issued me a refund. When I asked her for a copy of it she told me no and that I needed to leave. I turned and walked out and will be calling corporate headquarters first thing in the morning.
I am a member of the army and I was traveling and had to stay at a motel 6. Well next time I'll pay extra to stay somewhere that cleans its rooms. To start the desk clerk was rude, then took a half hour to get us in to the room, next we go to the room and smelled like someone died. No bedding on the beds, nothing in the bathroom. So I requested a new room and got additude and a new room. The second room smelled worst than the first, and as I took my boots off my soaks got soaked with what smelled like urine. Then took a shower and found the bathroom to be loaded with mold growing up the shower and everywhere else. If their was another place to stay I would have, but on the up side I didn't get bed bugs. Thanks motel 6 of horseheads NY for wasting my money.
I made a reservation for Motel 6 in Marshall Texas (4th time to stay at this motel).When I checked in the reservation was not correct,I reserved a room with double beds,micro,refridge and smoking when I arrived the room was a non smoking and the room smelled like wet carpet had not been dried before being closed up.The next morning there was a car in a handicapp parking place reported to the office and was told they did not enforce the law. I told them it was the law that the only ones to park there was ones with plaques or tags. The office seemed to want to argue with the customer everytime sometime was wrong.. I am very upset with Motel 6 this stay.Seems like the office staff did care they were making a stay hard and unpleasant.Please correct this problem.We are thinking trying another motel in that area when we go back. We travel there about every 6 months....Thank you
I stayed at a Motel 6 on my way home from a vacation with family. My boyfriend and I checked into the hotel....excuse me motel ( and I am being generous saying that) at about 1 am when we just couldn't drive anymore. It was a motel 6 off of some exit that starts with a C off of the 5 in cali. I climbed into bed exhausted and my boyfriend begins to pull back his side. He finds someone's black short and curlies on his side of the bed and stains. I jumped out of the bed and he called down to complain. We changed rooms, inspected and went to sleep. THE DAMAGE HAD ALREADY BEEN DONE! Days later I began to get bumps that looked very suspect. I went to the doctor and SCABIES!!!!!!!!! We are still in treatment (both of us) doing everything we can to make sure they are gone. I am a teacher and this really sucks for everyone not just myself. No students have any symptoms what so ever so I know it is from the stupid motel. The bed was disgusting. Oh yeah! When my boyfriend called down to change rooms the clerk says "Oh really....yeah, we got a new maid and she is kind of lazy". Nice............. We have contacted the main office and are going to hit them with all our medical bills once we know it is all gone. MORAL OF THE STORY! SLEEP IN YOUR CAR IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF THE HOTEL. JUST BECAUSE IT IS A CHAIN DOES NOT MEAN IT IS CLEAN. I am not letting this rest until I am refunded.
I've pasted the back and forth with the Motel 6 manager @ the Williamsville location my husband and I stayed at. As you can see by the below, the resolution is not satisfactory to me at all. A certificate to stay at a place that I will never stay at again is useless to me, however, a partial refund can go a long way. In addition to the back-and-forth below, I would add that there was a stain on the bedspread which we removed immediately. The rug felt a bit "sticky" so needless to say we never went shoeless in the room. Yuck. Never again. Dear Mr. Higgins, I am writing to inform you about a mishap during our recent stay at your motel to which I was told you may be able to do something for us in the form of a partial refund for our inconvenience. We checked in on Tuesday, July 3rd and checked out on Friday, July 6th. Upon our return to the motel on Wednesday, July 4th we notice that we had received no towels. On Thursday morning, July 5th we called the front desk and made a request for towels so that we could shower prior to leaving our room for the day. At a minimum, an hour and a half to two hours went by and still no towels. At this point we had taken showers and dried off with hand towels. I called the front desk again to be told that Housekeeping was made aware that we requested the towels, however, they were doing their work and would get to our room in the order their work was laid out. I informed the front desk that it was unacceptable for someone to call for towels and have to call back again after at least 90 minutes to request them again. Minutes after the second call was made to the front desk a housekeeping employee came to drop us off two towels. To make matters worse, upon returning to the motel on the evening of Thursday, July 5th we found that our room was never serviced. It remai
My family lost a love one due to cancer so her funeral was in new Socorro new Mexico it was bad enough that the rooms were dirty but what really made me so discussed was the service the manager was a blonde female eyes were all red very jumppy she started to stutter a lot then I noticed she had white substance on her nose also her assistant a heavy set gentleman. Smelled like weed or maryjane it was so bad he was laughing the whole time I was there it made me so mad Im never going back there again I not only had to deal with lose of my aunt but the unprofessional.
