Worst hotel I have stayed in! Will never stay in another Motel 6 ever again. We pulled in and walked in to check in only to encounter a 30 minute wait, since there were so many people waiting to check in. We overheard the clerk tell people before us that their reservations hadn't gone through. Well when we finally got up there- apparently our reservation hadn't gone through either. Surprise! We had specifically asked for a non smoking room, since I'm allergic to the smell of cigarette smoking.. of course the only thing they had left was a smoking room. Since we were already late for our plans and we didn't know what else was around the area we accepted that room.. not to mention they tried to charge us more than what I had booked for online! When we got into the room it smelled so bad I wanted to cry- the beds were cheap and uncomfortable- not to mention the staff was ridiculous and rude. Never again!
Motel 6 in Wichita Falls, TX. Dirty: Rug was filthy, feces on toilet seat, shower walls and floor was grimy and filthy. Roaches and bugs all over the room. No hot water. Never, never again!!!
We stayed at Motel 6 in Wesy Palm Beach on Lantana Rd and are still crawling from the trashy place with the trashy staff. There were roaches crawling all over, drug deals done all day and night right in front of everyone. Prositutes and stripers were parading around and the staff sat around drinking and socializing and not doing anything to service the patrons. The housekeeping was absolutely non-existant. The General Manager was too interested in picking up all the men who passed by him. It was the worst place we have ever been. We saw young children smoking pot given to them by late night staff and the under age children hanging out with staff. It was just too much. There were police sitting there from 6 or 7 at night until daylight and when we asked why they were always there, we were told by one staff that they were put there by the city to control the drugs and prositution. Really??? Why do they sit and watch all of it going on and and even by the staff? It is utterly amazing that motel 6 allows such places to bear their name. The General Manager we heard is already under investigation for sexually abusing a young former employee and he makes advances and leers at patrons who are at the motel. He lives on site and many times on the way to the ice machine (which never works) he came out to kiss different men good-bye from his room with just undershorts on. We will never stay there again and unless you are a drug dealer wanting to sell your drugs easily don't stay there!!
I made reservations for and stayed the night at the Motel 6 in Pasco, WA #4370. We had two, adjoining rooms #125 and #126 on the ground floor. That night, the traffic of prostitutes and their johns up and down the stairs beside our rooms and the traipsing back and forth on the verandah above, kept us awake until after 2a.m. The rooms themselves, though clean, were cramped, the beds were uncomfortable and pushed up against the wall so you had access to only one side of the bed. The toilet seats in both rooms were very loose and wobbly. When I turned the sink faucet over to the "cold" setting and ran my fingers under the water, I was scalded with VERY hot water. I had to play with the faucet, back and forth several times before I got cold water to brush my teeth. My grandson got scalded in the shower with the water going very hot and then cold. There were burned out light bulbs, too. All of this on top of the very small rooms. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again, as long as I live. At $72 and $68 for the 2 rooms, it was less than $10 cheaper than the Sleep Inn or Travel Lodge in the area. I was appalled with the service and the disregard for families exhibited at this Motel 6. They are very bad for the reputation of Motel 6 where they "Will leave the light on for you", according to their television advertising. Obviously that light is a red one. Sincerely, Mary Whitmore
my sister and her 1 year old baby is on her way here from tx to washington, she is staying at a motel 6 in az. she just called me to let me know the heater doesn't work, the room was a pig pen, and when she asked the night manager to get a maintenance man to fix the heater, she told my sister no, and she can relocate to the other side of the building and on the second floor, when my sister asked for a cart. or someone to help move all the things she just unloaded out of her car into the room, the manager said no, do it yourself... hmmm... i wonder how motel 6 will enjoy the phone call from my lawyer tomorrow morning,
