My vehicle broke down in Columbus Ga. We stayed at the Motel 6 on Victory Dr. I spent about 15 minutes looking for the front desk attendant. Finally checked in and began to kill baby roaches on the wall over the bed. Non-smoking but smelled like an ashtray. The carpet was slick and sticky. Next morning my wife awoke to find about 10 bed bug bites from her waist down. Horns "beeped" all night in the lot (wife said it was all the hooker activity that she had observed earlier) Maby Tom Bodett should make it clear exactly what COLOR lite he'll leave on for you. You guessed it, NEVER AGAIN!

Motel 6 in Fairborn Ohio near WPAFB was the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in. Filthy, rundown, ants, spiders etc. Housekeeping was awful- no toilet paper given or trash removed.Foul urine smells eminated from stairwells and hallways. We were room-changed twice. Our third room was the least offensive, but after the second night of our 4 night stay I couldn't take it anymore- and left. Ants were all over the room including the beds. They have fraudulant websites, which are 20+ year old photos. These photos show ( and they are still advertising) a beautiful outdoor pool and party center. The pool was derilict with about 6 inches of mud- weeds growing all around it as large as small trees- GROSS!!!! Motel 6 why are you allowing your name to be abused in this manner? I will never stay in a MOtel 6 for the rest of my life and I will definitley spread the word!

Our stay was at the MOTEL 6 in FAIRBORN OH. OMG, I have never been in a motel that was so filthy in my whole life, the carpeting was filthy, the trash cans overflowing, just dirt, dirt everywhere, was advertised that they had a pool, ohhh they had a pool alright but it had about a foot of stagnet brown water, when we arrived we were put in a room that was at least 110 degrees, the temp outside was 100 degrees, I cannot understand why the AC was not already running when we arrived, we made our reservations back in March,it was NOT a sudden arrival, they changed our room twice, finally got a room that was half way decent,the stairwells smelled like urine, there were ants crawling on the table tops AND when I rolled down my bed there was POPCORN ON THE SHEETS!!!!!! I cannot believe that MOTEL 6 would allow their name to be attached to this disater, the desk staff was very nice and apolojetic...whoever is in charge of this place should be hung!!!!!!!!!

This place doesn't even deserve a 1!!! In Elk City, OK...nasty nasty nasty!! Feet stick to the carpet, hair from Lord knows where all over the bathroom. A/C vent smells like urine! Dead cockroaches and crickets behind the bed and a previous guests trash STILL under the bed!! My husband even pulls the bed out everynight! Still there..they don't even clean..not to mention the maids are too busy talking on their cell phones and letting their kids run all over people's rooms!!! And that's the 2nd room my husband moved into b/c he's working from out of town and everyone else is booked!! His first room, a wk ago, he got 23 SPIDER BITES! I got one! Mine and his both turned into staph infection..told the non-speaking English guy downstairs..and nothing!! So Motel 6 owner..guess who's paying that emergency visit and medications!! Be watchin..b/c as soon as I get that bill, it WILL be FED-EXed your way!!!!

On my drive from Philadelphia,PA to West Palm Beach,FL i stopped at Motel6 in Roanoke Rapids,SC. Although the price was reasonable the motel was in the middle of a huge dirt lot in a very seedy part of town. There was no security for my car,the room was relatively clean but there was no shampoo which i didnt think i needed to bring on the drive so couldnt wash my hair,my room was on the 2nd floor but only 1 ice machine on the 1st floor so i had to fill up my cooler and carry it up the steps to my room.There was no refridgerator in the room to keep drinks and food cold. The television was a tiny 20 inch and the air conditioner was very weak especially when the temp outside was 95 degrees.I dont mean this as a racist statement but i was the only white guy in the whole motel which made me a bit uneasy. The Motel deserves 1 star buty i gave it an extra star because the girl at the front desk was polite and friendly

I started off wrong with booking two rooms and only having one when I arrived. There was no ice and this is a beach area. The blankets on the bed were thread bare and smelled of dog, carpet was very dirty. I have traveled for 50 years this was one of my worst times, would never use again unless some major changes were made.

Minus the star general manager Timothy Wiley. I wonder is the Wiley for Wiley Coyote?? This excuse who has no excuse. Twice on two different stays within a 3 week period this person attempted to break the door in. The first stay in the darkness of night I opened the door a crack to his question of my name of which I gave first and last and when asked him his he only gave frist and then left with no reason given. Last night was different however, at 9pm while still light out and attracting a crowd of on lookers I was awoken by someone breaking into my room enough to where when I turned over from a sound sleep I could see his eyeball and his mouth was shouting at me to "get out of bed," and "get off the property right now." I am a paralegal and this individual is guilty of defamation of character. There should be a lawsuit that follows this fool. I had to call the local police there was no way I was opening a door to an insane black person; being a sane white woman I must question why if the office had a question they did not call the room phone first??? In addition I am not paying for the broken door lock on the door this morning when I left. Refund or not this was not the first and only offense; just the most outrageous! CORPORATE WAKE UP-I LEFT ALL THE LIGHTS ON.

We stayed at a Motel 6 - Newport Beach, CA #4460 on July 3 & 4, 2011. The first night at 10 p.m. the party started in the hallway with several doors to rooms open - little kids running back and forth, bouncing balls, etc., while the adults drank, yelled, whooped and hollered like they were in their back yard. Upon calling the mgr., he did come up (4th flr) and managed to quiet them down. The second night we were awakened at 1 a.m. as the(same)partiers gained momentum. I called the mgr. once again, but nothing was done. I opened our door and yelled at the top of my voice to shut up, but the noise was so loud, they couldn't hear me. By 3 a.m. I called him again and told him he had a choice - either I would call the police or he could come up and handle the situation. He decided to handle it. Both times I had to call on my cell, as the room phone didn't work (no dial tone). This was a completely redone Motel 6 - small but sufficient. There is no way this room was worth $78.30 plus tax per night. That was the last time for a Motel 6 experience. After reading some of your other customers' reviews, we feel fortunate that we didn't experience some other additional problems mentioned in their reviews, such as hookers, etc. The final insult was when I submitted a review to the co. you contract with to handle that sort of thing - stating just what I told you here. They emailed me in return thanking me for the "great review"! Obviously your company you have contracted to compile reviews of your motel have no comprehension of the English language.

We stayed at the Motel 6 in Cocoa beach, Fl! It was a busy weekend and impossible to find a hotel, we walked in at the front desk lady was nice and got us right o In. It was about 9:45 at night and it was me, my husband and our two young daughters. The front desk lady even gave us a descent price for two nights. The room was a smoking room but I had to take what was available. The room was clean and a candle helped the smell. The cleaning ladies were nice and so was the pool. On our lastnight my 6 year old daughter slipped at the pool at on the ledge and sliced her private and had to have surgery. I havent contacted the hot yet but I will in the morning. All together it was descent considering were used to higher end hotels and not motels..

Motel 6 - Grand Island #4265 Bed bugs in Nebraska!!!!!!!!!!!!! No refund of money!!!! Very kind desk clerk late that night as I checked in though. Upon finding the bugs on the pillows and in between the sheets as well as crawling ALL OVER the counter surfaces, I contacted the clerk who offered to move me to a "clean" room as her manager would not allow her to refund my money. This kind girl said to speak to her manager in the morning as she would be able to "help" me. This manager not only refused to refund a portion of my money as I didn't sleep at all that night, she said she knew there was an infestation problem and that the exterminator was on his way. She was rude than started referring to the bed bugs as nats when another customer came in. Worse than poor service from the manager. I was traveling from Colorado to Michigan, had to find another place to stay a few hours down the road as I didn't sleep the previous night (every time I started to drift off, I had the sensation of bugs on me). This incident delayed my trip many hours and cost me more money for another room. The least the manager could have offer was a voucher for another motel down the road. A "customers are important" personality as well. This was a big disappointment.

Rude front desk and they are very slow! Check in is at 3 we got there at 6 and still had to wait 30 minutes for them to clean the room! Filthy floors. No hot water!! No fridge, no iron, not microwave! They had no shampoo conditioner or lotion! Pool was closed for maintenance! There was screaming and yelling and running up and down the side walk both nights we stayed! Bed was uncomfortable! The rooms were "modern" but didn't look good at all! No clock in the room! No complimentary brkfast and the coffee is horrible! This motel was a rip off! Never again will my family stay at motle 6! I feel like this place was money wasted! We should have gone to the one the motels right down the street!

I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the strange company you will alway be forced to keep at cheaper, budget hotels. It just comes with the territory. You see a strange assortment of people... Anywhere from young adults in their late teens & early twenties, junkies, prostitutes, small families that live there full time. But, like I said, it's just part of what comes with staying at places that are under $80 a night. I've stayed at another motel six literally around the corner, and the service was terrible. I was a clean, orderly, quiet customer and yet I got the feeling they were looking for an excuse to kick me out. I specifically asked the cleaning staff not enter unless I gave them permission because I had valuables I would like to put away, and I'm not exaggerating when I say they fully ignored me for 6 days straight. Everyday I'd ask, only to be totally ignored and id come back from being out & it would have been cleaned. It was absurd. But the head manager who lived on the premises was totally rude, She acted like she didn't give a *hit about what the customers wanted. The cleaning staff would enter without knocking on a daily basis. The cleaning staff was unbelievably rude. It was horrible. But after moving to the one off Westminster blvd in Westminster CA things improved greatly. The head manager was so totally & completely accommodating you would think you were staying at a 5 star hotel. When he heard the staff had entered once without knocking he gave you a discounted rate for the week & it never happened again. The rooms were small but clean and the cleaning staff were totally respectful. But mostly it was the manager, I think it all had to do with his standard of service. He lived on the premises too, but he raised the bar that his staff followed. They are all polite, and helpful. Anything you ask for that they can help you with they will go out of their way to do. Anything that was promised to you but not working or available or around it was made up for in discounts or free nights. The manager at this place was awesome & I wish there was somebody I could contact to let them know how above par he was compared to every other motel 6 manager I've ever come across!

I RECENTLY LET THE CORPORATE OFFICES KNOW IN A SURVEY I WAS PLEASED WITH THE MANAGERS RESPOSE BUT, I MIGHT HAVE TO CHANGE THIS REVIEW OF MINE REGARDING HIS EMPLOYEES OVRALL RESPONSIVENESS TO HELP WITH ACCESIBILITY IN MEANS OF MINOR ASSISTANCE I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DEPENDANT AS DISABLED DOES NOT STO ME USALLY BUT BEING SO DOES NOT MAKE FOR DILEXIA OR MENTAL RETARDATION EVEN BEING SHOT IN THE HEAD AND BULLET ENTER AND EXITED WITHOUT BRAIN DAMAGE ON FILE WITH THE WASHINGTON BEUREAU OF FBI AND WHITEHOUSE AS ALL VICTIMS WHOM GET SHOT AND SURVIVE OR DONT DO TO THE BRADY BILL THANKS AGAIN FOR THAT ONE MEAN IT..ANYCASE PRESSURE IS ON FO PEOPLE WITH DISIBILITIES TO ONCE AGAIN PROVE THEMSELVES FOR WHAT AND BETTER YET TO WHOM HERE NOW I HAVE NO IDEA MERE EMPLOYEES LOVE TO HAVE YOUR OLD DESK JOB SO WATCH THE ATTITUDE AND BEHIND THE OL'MAGER'S BACK TO ESPEHCIALLY AT NIGHTIME WHEN HE OR SHE LEAVES O.K. We needed to stay at the Motel6 in Temecula Ca for a couple weeks as we have large dogs and are between houses. The Manager Guss checked us in and knew we were staying for a awhile. At week one I returned back to the hotel room to find it empty I went to the front desk and was told we were due to check out and we did not come in to pay. Mind you they had our credit card and we paid for a week for Internet that morning. My husband has a brain tumor and has to take very expensive heat sensitive medication which they had stored for three plus hours in a Hot store room we had to throw it away and make special arrangements to get more. During our stay the guest next to us had vomited all over our car and walkway in front our room I ended up cleaning it myself. The vending machine never worked and the prostitutes and druggy stayed busy and undisturbed there. I would never stay there again and would recommend no one else would as well.

A friend and I stayed at the Motel 6 in Peterborough Ca. on 06/17-20th. I booked my reservation on line which was not a problem. I needed to contact reservations so I called the 800 phone number. I asked about any discounts you offered,was told that since my traveling companion was over the age of 65 we would get a senior discount at check-in. When we arrived the front deck said NO we don't have that. The room had a booklet with local places to eat and have delivered. The info. in the room was outdated but when I told the front desk about it they showed me a small rack of info that was correct, if thats the case it should have been in the room. There was no paper/pens in the room and when I asked at the front desk she said and I quote "we are to cheap to suppy that" WOW, what an answer. There was no nite light in room so to had some light we left the bathroom light on and the exhaust fan was very loud, also the A/C unit was as loud as the fan. In the room the dresser haad no drawer for clothes and not enough hangers to hang things on. Your motto to leave the light on never happened except for our bathroom light. I will n ot be a return guest and people that I know that plan to stay at youe hotels will be told the whole disappointing story...

Motel 6: New Castle, DE 19720 - I and my husband stayed over night and they have the sweetest most darling front desk girl named Rachael. She was super polite and a beautifuly intellegent person to speak with. She gave us great customer service and was able to acomodate us acceptionally. We will most certainly be coming back to motel 6 in delaware!

I stayed at Motel 6 in Nephi Utah on Friday night June 17. The next morning the wife and I went to take a shower... It took a good three minutes for the water to just get warm at the sink. The shower ran for a good five min and it never got even warm enough to shower in.. so, we had to go with out a shower. I will NEVER stay at this motel six again.

Earlier this week we had a chance to stay at Cameron Park Motel 6. My experience was poor and I report it to the Corporate headquarters. I just got the standard we'll report it to the regional office. Our problems included dunk people screaming in the hallway. We called the front office and they indicated we'll take care of it. We called again to tell the front office we are calling 911, that is when the finally decided to do something. Funny thing Motel 6 indicates that care about customer satisfaction, but really all they care is about Money. We went to watch the news on the television and the tv didn't work, so another call to the front desk. The clerk offerred another room. It would of been easier to switch the tvs afterall we were unpacked, showered and in our sleepware. That will be our last stay at any Motel 6. Good thing we have a choice.

As we were fisiting relitives we stad at motel 6 we had a awful experience the people across the hall slammed doors all night till 1am kept us up all night it was a bad experience as we didn't have this happen be for I thought we should have got a free room the next time every think else was good but that my email is todg@sympatico.ca

I reserved a room for 6/11 at the Galveston location with two beds for a family of 4 for our visit to Moody Gardens. When we arrived there at 11 am, I was told check in would be at 3pm. I paid the $87.39 for the room and was told I could pick up the key when I returned after 3 and then we went to Moody Gardens. After leaving Moody Gardens and picking up our key to the room at the front desk, we found the room only had one bed. I asked for another room, they said they were full and they refused to give me a refund. The ethnic women that were working the front desk were very rude, there were two other families at the check in desk with the same issue. The hotel appeared to be unsafe with people loitering on the balconies but they did have security walking the premises. The pool was nasty and 2 overfilled trash bins lined the corridor that leads to the second floor. We found another hotel (thank you Super 8) for our stay, where the staff provided a pleasant and cleaner atmosphere and the rooms were royal in comparison to the dive we had just come from. I will never return to any Motel 6. I will report to BBB and other consumer organizations and my rating is O stars.
