365 Reviews For Motel 6 Headquarters & Corporate Office

I stayed at motel 6 in middleburg heights ohio. That was the most disgusting place i have ever been in. front desk very unprofessional. corporate needs to go there they don't even clean there rooms, carpets all stained up afraid to walk on. that place needs to be condemned.

9/7/11, had room 223 at the your Motel 6 in Independence, MO, # 4398. Was initially skeptical walking in the hallway as there were make shift ramps, filthy carpets, and poor appearance. The room was spacious....and the shower had good water pressure. Those were the ONLY good qualities. The sheets were dirty, looked to be grease stains, the pillow cases look to have mold stains, the toilet rocked when you sat on it, and the carpet was so filthy that I wouldn't let a pet walk on it. The walls were awful, holes, looks to be previous writings that had been attempted to be removed. For the price of $68.45, this was a total ripoff, and I would think that your corporate headquarters would want to investigate the operators of this motel. The woman at the counter in the morning couldn't have cared less about the quality of there room when we checked out....had we not been driving for 2 days prior...there is no way in hell I would have stayed at this poor excuse of a nights lodging.

Stayed at the Motel 6 in Lodi, CA and we checked in at noon. At 5pm another male customer was rented the same room and given a key and walked into our room. That would be bad enough, but we were having sex and he saw everything. When we called the front desk the lady said she didnt know we were in the room, which is not possible, the computer shows when a room is rented or not. We asked for our money back and they did give us a refund and let us stay at no charge that night. BUT the next morning at 6am someone AGAIN tried to come into our room and the only reason they couldnt is because we had the latch hooked inside. We called the front desk and the man working said it was him and he didnt know we were in the room and he was making a house keeping schedule. Then told me that the lady from the night before told him she gave us our room for free because of what happened. Which tells us he knew we were there, and again, IF the room was empty he would know the cleaning schedule. I went to the desk and tried to talk to him I asked for his name and he refused to give it to me. I told him that this was not being handled to my satisfaction and he asked me what I wanted to do and I told him that he could give us another free night for the second incident and he said that was not going to happen. He them handed me a card and told me to call the manager tomorrow. THIS IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If something like this was happening in my business, I would do anything I could to make it right and please the customer! We were not out to cheat anybody but TWICE in 2 days the same thing happened! If we had not hooked the latch, he would have walked in on us AGAIN. A second free night is the LEAST they could do!

my son stayed in the vegas motel 6 on boulder hwy on spring bk , he noticed bug's on the floor that night , we now have a huge problem in my son's room with bed bug's 450.00 dollor's spent so far on pest control and all i am dealing with . do not stay here !!!! 9/1/11

horrible stay at motel 6 in york pennsylvania.awoke to find our 5 motorcycles vandalised /damaged and items stolen .we were told by cerk nothing ever happened here .but the investigating police officer said it happened the week prior to ours and prior to that.

If there was a 0 star rating, i would give you that. On Aug 6, 2011 i check into your Hotel in Stockbridge, GA with the hope of spending the weekend with my Daughter before she left for college. What i got was the worst case of racial profiling i've ever heard of. After taking my money the hotel called the police on me and told them that they believed i had drugs in my car. Standing outside in my underwear while they spent an hour ripping my rental car apart only to find nothing. They then proceeded to run a nationwide check on my license and BINGO! A twenty one year old warrant for a probation violation. Arrested, i would spend the next 3 weeks in jail losing my business insurance, losing projects, work that would keep me busy through the holiday season, my employees out of work only to have the judge laugh in there faces and release me. LAWSUIT IN PROGRESS!!!!!

I called a motel 6 in Wytheville, VA to make a reservation to get away from Hurricane Irene. Unfortunately I was unable to reach Wytheville because all the roads were blocked by downed trees. My wife and I stopped at the first possible place and when I wake up this morning I have a $92 fee charges to me by motel 6. Total BS!! I couldn't possibly make it to them, when I asked the woman on the phone why she needed my CC info se said it was to hold the room and that I would not be charged until I checked in. I call back today and the same woman tells me "no I told you if you didn't show we would charge you" which is a total lie! Complete trash organization. Don't worry about leaving that light on, worry about grimy helpful and profesional staff members!

Motel 6 at 2310 E. Richard, Douglas, WY. Stay at this hotel AT YOUR OWN RISK! I have just experienced the WORST hotel experience at this hotel ever! To begin with I had confirmation for 3 rooms. When we arrived late the first night we drove up and the front desk person closed the blinds. Went inside only to find the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with in the hotel industry. Was informed I only had 2 rooms and my other friends had already checked in to one of them. There were 4 of use traveling together-one an 84 year old woman with health problems and also a 14 year old girl. The front desk person was so confrontanial that she started off right away by attacking us verbally! She ran behind the counter and closed the door while she was on the phone leaving us to stand there for 20 minutes while she called the owner. When she came out she told us there was only 1 room and not even a roll away bed and that this "was not her problem"!! She asked if I would like to speak to the owner & I did! He was not much better and did absolutely nothing to try & remedy the situation! The front desk person then refused to give us the one room left and threatened to call the police if we did not leave! We were not being beligerent or yelling (as she was) and told us to get out! We ended up driving to Casper to get another room at midnight! My friends who also unfortunately HAD to stay there (there were no other rooms available in the entire town) said it was a blessing we didn't stay there. Said the rooms were nasty, bedding and towels were thread bare and ALL of the personnel acted as if they were doing them a favor by letting them stay there! No one should ever be treated like we were and I would NEVER stay at a Motel 6 again! Corporate should be expecting several complaint letters in the near future about this hotel and the owner needs to lose his franchise and find another business that does not involve any type of customer relations! If there was a lower than 1 star rating this hotel needs it!

We stayed in the Motel 6 in Horseheads, NY and it does not even deserve a rating. We walked into our room after attending a wedding and driving 12 hours to get there. There was a huge wooden wall mirror on the floor by the door just leaning against a wall.(An accident waiting to happen. Next we looked at the carpet and decided to keep our shoes on as it was stained so bad. Went to the bathroom and the toilet was so wobbly not connected properly to the floor. Tired went to bed. Next morning went in to take a shower and pulled the curtain back, mold and mildew half way up the shower curtain. Wash cloths so stained they could not be used. Mold and mildew going under the sink in the bathroom. The bathtub so dirty it looked like it had no even been washed out since the last renter. So very disgusted, now we had to travel another 12 hours before we could get a shower. We show the clerk at the front desk who was embarassed with what she saw. Unhappy, so please check your room before you pay.

STAYING IN THE MOTEL 6 IN NORFOLK AND EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THE STAFF IS VERY SWEET THE GM IS A STRAIGHT YOU KNOW WHAT, SHE WANTS TO THROW THE "THIS IS THE COMPANY POLICY" OUT THERE WHEN THEY DONT WANT TO DO SOME THING. THERE WERE ENOUGH BUGS IN THE ROOM TO START UP OUR OWN BUG FARM, FROM ROACHES,SPIDERS,MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FRUIT FLIES,GRASSHOPPERS,I'M REALLY KIND OF FRUSTRATED BY THE GM AND HER LACK OF CONCERN,SHE IS LACKING IN CUSTOMER REALTIONS SKILLS, HER LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED. I DO HAVE TO SAY THE THE REST OF THE STAFF AND THE EXPERIENCE WAS OK. NOTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL IS GREAT OTHER THAN THE ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF BELOW HER. THE ROOMS ARE DIRTY AND LINENS SUCH AS COMFORTERS HAVE BLOOD STAINS AND OTHER STAINS ON THEM AND THEY DONT CHANGE THEN OR WASH THEM THEY JUST CHANGE THE SHEETS. THE ROOMS NEED REPAIRS AND SOME TLC. I CAME THERE FOR THE POOL AS SOMETHING TO DO ON DOWN TIME FOR MY CHILD AND THE POOL WAS NEVER USED DUE TO THE UNCLEANLINESS. I DID USE THE WASHING FACILITIES AND THEY WERE OKAY JUST STUFFY AND THAT COULD BE FIXED IF SOMEONE WOULD FIX THE AC IN THERE BUT THE PRICE IS REASONABLE AND THE CLOTHES DID GET CLEAN. THE WALK WAYS CONSTANTLY SMELL LIKE PISS. DO HAVE TO SAY THE THE PREMISES IS QUITE AND WAS OUT AT NIGHT A FEW TIMES AND NOTHING ALARMING GOING ON SUPRISINGLY. THEY CHARGE 2.99 FOR THE WIFI AND THEN THE SERVICE ONLY WORKED FOR ONE HOUR OF THE 24 HOUR TIME THEY PROMISE YOU FOR THE MONEY YOU PAY AND THEY CODE FOR THE INTERNET IS GIVEN TO U ON A SCRAP PIECE OF PAPER WITH NO RECIEPT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE, I WAS CONCERNED THAT MONEY MIGHT BE POCKETED AS THERE IS NO REAL BUSINESS TRASACTION THAT CAN BE VERIFIED WITH THE SHABBY WAY THIS IS DONE. HOPE THAT NO ONE ELSE EXPERIENCES THIS AGAIN

I made reservations for me and my family at the Motel 6 on J. Clyde Morris Blvd in Newport News, VA. at the end of July 2011 or there about. I am in a wheelchair and I stressed this point to the clerk at this location when I made this reservation. When I arrived in at the hotel in Newport News on the August 18, 2011 with my conformation number, my room was not handicap accessible acording to the specifications that I made with the person I spoke with. First, my conformation number was not the right one. The conformation number that was quoted to me in July was 33026 but then, when I arrived on the 18th of August 2011 the conformation number was different 33624 and with a different name. When I call on August 17th to confirm my reservations it was told to me that everything was okay. I also called the morning of the 18th before my family and I departarted from New Jersey, and was told the same thing, everything was okay. Secondly, they raised the price of our room from $224.95 to $269.94. When $224.95 was quoted to me in July. And when we arrived now the price is $269.94. Something is wrong! No something is very wrong! The staff at this location was very rude to me and my family. No kind of professionalism. They all need to take a people skills course of some kind!

I had just checked in to the Crosslanes, WV Motel 6. I wanted a room up close to the office because their wifi is a joke. First off, any motel that charges extra for wifi is a joke. Come on Motel 6, what year is it. Wifi should be a courtesy for my business. Any how, I have had trouble with the access to the wifi before and told the girl at the desk. I go to my room in the back of the motel and wouldn't you know it. No access to Wifi. I call the office and the girls response was you can call our tech support. Well I have news for her. I don't work for them. They work for me. I demanded my money back and went down the street to a motel with free wifi that works. So Motel 6, your lazy employees just cost you another customer. Never will I ever darken your doors again. Oh yeah, update your web site/ you are no longer part of the Red Roof chain.

For some reason, my daughter (Tracey) seemed to like Motel 6, so I went along with her on that decision. At a Fresno, CA motel, the staff was not proficient in the English language. The room we were assigned seemed to be clean, but when we requested extra towels and two more pillows, we were told that "We are full. We have no more.". We were in a two-bed room with 2 adults and 2 children, but there were bath linens for only three (3) people. To not stock a little extra of everything is idiotic. I have to wonder what 'corporate' is thinking besides 'raking in money and spending as little as possible'. In Bakersfield, we tried to get a room only to be assigned a room with such a foul odor that we couldn't stay. We were told the carpet had just be cleaned. If that was CLEAN, God forbit what a 'dirty' room would smell like. In the future, I won't care what my daughter prefers. I will not stay in another Motel 6.

I am at this moment at the Motel 6 on Lee Highway in Chattanooga, TN. Not only disheartening, but very horrible would be how I describe my experience. While trying to sleep after a long night, I was awoken very early to extremely loud pounding noises, hammering, and infernal racket. It sounded like someone was taking an iron pillar and ramming it against the wall and the roof at the same time. When I called the front desk, the lady (Laura) was very rude and obviously did not care. When I asked what was going on, she informed me reparations were being done, and they were about to start on the roof. When I told her I was trying to sleep unsuccessfully, she told me she would "tell the manager". Not only did the racket continue, it got worse. As a matter of fact, it is still going on 4 hours later with no signs of dying down so that I can get some sleep. What is this if not a hotel with BEDS where customers are supposed to be able to SLEEP? Also, they obviously do not know the meaning of the word "customer service".

you have some very rude and i do mean rude people working for you was told one price waited for over two hours for room i had a resevation .She checked in people that came right in with no resevation than was told the room was $47.00 when i was told it would be $34.00 the manager was gladis swanson was very rude. Why do you do run your places like this i have never been treated that bad before never stay there either.

Light bulb missing. TV remote broken. Floor filthy. Bathtub in need of resurfacing. Shower plumbing not working properly. Door from hallway to parking lot would not shut automatically, and so it remained ajar, giving anyone access to the hotel. My car and two others had driver's side windows smashed overnight, even though there was supposed to be a security guard patrolling the parking lot. I lost about $3 in parking meter quarters. The couple with the 6-year-old son from Ohio lost their laptop computer. I don't know what the couple from Maryland lost. The Ohio couple told me that, when they opened the door to their room, they were quite startled to find a man already inside the room. One of the couples told me a black man hanging out in the parking lot in a beat up car had approached them after they had parked their car and had tried to sell them air fresheners and other items. The only good thing I can say are that both The Motel 6 staff members and the Toledo police officer were very helpful and kind. Oh, yes--and there is a Glass Doctor shop less than a mile from the Motel 6. I suspect the Motel 6 generates quite a bit of repair work for Glass Doctor. For the $200 and the six hours of lost travel time it cost me to deal with my damaged car, I could have stayed in a much nicer hotel. Liked: Service Disliked: Rooms, Location, Value

I had to stay at Motel 6 near the Rochester NY airport on Buell Rd Rochester NY and the conditions were so bad that I had to scald the bath tube, dry it off and sleep in the bath tub away from any bugs. I Motel was so dirty and nasty that is just can not be actually hard to describe. Both beds had stains on the sheets and had never been changed and the carpet in the whole place was stained so bad it would make you sick. I enjoyed the whole experience for $47.00 and will never ever stay at a Motel 6 again.

NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Motel 6. I requested a quiet room and when I got there, the guest services rep who checked me in at the Ukiah, CA location said that room 120 was ready and a quiet room. No sooner had I unpacked, than 3 motorcycles pulled in in front of my room and a crowd piled in to the adjoining rooms. Within an hour, dogs were barking in the adjacent room. i called the front desk and they said they would take care of it. They didn't. I almost left, but it was late. The next night, same thing. i called the front desk. The manager told me that she could do nothing and if I didn't like it, leave. I was so upset I told her I was calling corporate. She told me to leave. I went in person to the front desk and asked for a refund. Though it was 9:30 at night, I figured I wasn't going to sleep anyway, so might as well drive 4 hours to get home. She said not only could I not have a refund, but picked up the phone and called the police department to evict me from my room. I am a nice person and very easy to get along with. I hope no one else decides to stay at the Motel 6 in Ukiah. The manager is horrible!

We were extremly unhappy with our accomodations at the Arden Way Motel 6, Suite 129 in Sacramento CA. We found the "SUITE" to be in terrible conditon. There was wallpaper falling off in the kitchen, bathroom and at the foot of the bed. The bathtub had multiple cigarette burns in the surface and we were in a non smoking room. The kitchen had 6 cabinets, a cook top, small refer, microwave and a sink but no pots, pans, cups, dishes or even plastic or silver ware. No coffee maker in a suite, no shampoo in a suite and the pillows were a extremely small and thin. The couch sank in the middle and all the chairs in the room, including the couch, looked as if someone had used them to stand on to paint. They were covered with paint spots. There wasn't a comfortable place in the SUITE to sit. We called the front desk and were told a SUITE only meant a bigger room. There was a few repiars made to the walls in the room and it looked like a homeowner did the work. I am sure for the price we paid for the Motel 6 SUITE we could have gotten a regular room for the same price if not less that would have been in much better shape and a lot more comfortable. I hope you understand that the small, relatively cheap items that you have decided to leave out of your amenities available in the room sure makes a big difference on the way we, as you customers, see the business and the importance of our comfort and satisfaction. Also the condition of the room was really a bad example for a large chain such as Motel 6. We have stayed in a few Motel 6 in our times and we are traveling a lot more as we grow older and I really doubt that we will be booking rooms at Motel 6 in the future.

I want to comment on this Motel 6. Our ball team booked numerous rooms. The rooms were dirty and stunk. One television caught on fire and ours sounded like frying bacon so I turned it off and did not use it any more because I was afraid that it would catch on fire. We found dirty sheets with hair on them, one bath tub with dirty water in it, filthy floors that my daughter mopped on her hands and knees so her son could play. Air conditioners that did not work and rooms had to be moved. A front counter person that lied repeatedly. We had ask for non smoking rooms and we were told there were non available but when I said my husband had breathing difficulties she gave us what she called a non smoking room, with an ashtray, but it did smell better than most of the rooms. The bed covers looked so dirty that I went to Walmart and bought pillows, pillow cases and blankets. The pillows were yellow with filth. This was the dirtiest, filthiest, nastiest hotel that I ever stayed at. They told us they were giving us a discounted rate of 46.95 when we booked, but I can find that rate on the internet. I would not have paid 2.00 a night for this motel. Doors looked like they had been kicked in and hinges were hanging. I just can't believe it was so bad. As I said before it was the worst motel I have ever stayed in. Everyone on the ball team have expressed the same feeling. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again because of this experience. My husband and I do lots of weekend trips on our motorcycle so I know what I am talking about. We stay at lots of motels. I am very dissatisfied.
