downgrade to one star....still on hold
Mr. Kors must have a ton of money in that he can afford to have no one pick up the phone in his offices. What kind of business is on a "no one here to take your call, leave and message and we will return it" all day long from 9-5 for days? And by the way I did leave three messages and no one has bothered to return it. Must be nice.
[ bought a michael korr handbag and it got wet from the rain,the bag faded.i took the bag back to the store without the receipt and was told nothing could be done.i am very upset with the name brand michael korr it stinks,
I bought a MK rose gold watch back in may and now the rose gold has come off part of the wrist band ...,I am not happy as it was nearly £300! This rose cold is very miss leading . I always take care of my watches, but this is a joke. I cannot return it as the warranty to not cover this type of damage, I am not happy.
I bought a MK purse at Ross in Keller, Tx. I had it for two weeks and the gold gromment that is attached to the gold chain broke, the pin came out and who knows where part of the gromment is. I called customer service and spoke with a lady named Simone. So nice on the phone, take a picture and email to customer service and we will see if we can get a replacement gromment for you. That was a week ago. Called again today, of couse I get a recording to leave a message. From reading all these posts I am not hopeful. Ross will not take it back because I do not have the receipt. Never thought to save it for a 398.00 purse. Even though I paid $179.00 for it. I use to love MK products and I will never buy anything from MK again.
I have a Grayson Gromment bag and even though i have barely used the bag, keeping it only for special occations, some of the grommets have come lose and are missing, I simply want to order and pay for new grommets but I cannot get anyone to answer the phone and call me back! How can anyone stay in business with such poor customer service! With 3 gromments missing my $448 dollar bag looks like a thrift store special. Not going to buy another bag from them again!
I bought what I thought was a great deal on a popular purse at the Allen Outlet mall in Allen Texas, got the purse home and one of the handles had holes in it, i called cudtomer service was told to mail the purse to them, did that and they never let me know they recieved my purse, I had to call them,they told me I had $349.00 credit to pick out a new purse, did that, then TEN days later I get an email stating the NEW purse was no longer available to call customer service, hell thats a joke in itself but when I did get someone to help me she said she would have to call me back and promised me I would here from her that day, well no phone call and when I tried them again and again it goes to voice mail stating someone will call you back, ha another joke, I will fight this company till i get my replacement or contact the BBB. Awful customer service.....
To the person who wrote the review the managers name (i'm guessing) is APRIL CAMP. She has stolen a handbag from me. Yes, I did just say STOLE a handbag from me yet, works for the store. Can you imagine how many other items she must steal from the store?
I received a gunmetal Jet Set tote for Christmas and carried it off and on. I noticed white flakes on everything I was pulling out of the bag and upon inspection saw the the lining was literally ripped at the seams. Along each of the stitches that run up and down the inside of the bag, the lining was completely falling apart. I've emailed pictures of the bag inside and out to MK and am waiting to hear back but after reading the posts here, not holding much hope for a positive outcome.
I LLOVE LOVE LOVE my iPhone wristlet. I have had it since it came out and use it everyday all day long. It protects my phone from accidental dropping etc. i have gotten so many compliments on it and have sent alot of business your way by way of admirers. However, today, at the West Farms mall in Farmington, CT, I went to exchange my wristlet since it was torn. MK has a one year replacement plan and since I use this all of the time I have needed to replace it once already without issue. I called ahead of time with the description of what item I was exchanging and what I needed since I did not have my original receipt since it was a gift. I had to call my bank and have them research the purchase etc. and wait for the report to come in the mail before I could go to the store. I did not get the girls name but the exchange went as follows: Me: Hi, I am exchanging this wristlet for a new one. Worker: We don't have that. Me: I'm sorry? Worker: We DON'T have that! Me: Can you order it? Worker: Do you have proof you bought it here? Me: offers bank statement. Worker: looks over whole statement; "Ok". Me: I did not have this issue when I replaced it before. Worker: Why would you want another one if it keeps breaking?!?! Me: Can I speak to someone else please? Worker: NO! I'm the manager. Me: Ok, can you check if another store carries this or can you order me a new one? Your policy states a replacement for a full year. I saw this online. Worker: We don't associate with the online store! Try Macy's. Do you want store credit or not?!?! Me: No, I'm all set. Good Bye. My only regret is that I did not get this persons name to properly put in a complaint. I have many pairs of shoes, clothing and my beloved wristlet from MK but your employees and Managers (?) are seriously lacking at this store in CT!!!
My husband gave me MK gray purse for my anniversary 3 years ago and I only carry it during the winter months. I called MK office for two weeks leaving a message and finally I left a message to return my call ASAP. Well I got a return call three days later but with out results. The threading is coming a loose from the handle and purse. I was told that MK only have a year warranty and it was nothing that unfortunately there was nothing they could do for me. Coach and DB have life time warranty. I will never buy another MK
This is my second MK bag and I have only had it since July. The piping on the bottom of the bag has worn through so I have a cream leather bag with a black piece of plastic poking thru. I can't carry it any longer. I am very disappointed. After spending $380.00 all I can say is REALLY! I will not be purchasing another MK bag.
Awful quality! Honestly, I've seen flea-market knockoffs better than this garbage. I have two of the jet set totes, both of which are wearing away on the inside (the metallic lining is horribly thin and scratches and tears even the slightest touch- don't even think about putting a book, notepad, or anything that does not have completely blunt edges inside these bags). Same goes for the continental wallet I purchased in black. The metallic "leather" inside has stretched out to the point that my cards all fall out when I open it. On the Hamilton bag I own, the "leather" has turned color on the handles, the lining is full of piling, and the metal lock and plate have both scratched and tarnished (it is actually RUSTING, it's disgusting). even leather, because to me it looks and feels like a cheap, thin leather-coated polyurethane.

I have purchased purses, jewelry, watches and clothing from MK. I am definitely done! My latest purchases have highly disappointed me. Very POOR QUALITY for the prices charged. Recently I purchased the "Gunmetal laminated python embossed leather chelsea small messenger." In the recent Fall catalog there is a tassel attached to the bag. I notified them that the tassel was missing on my bag and here is the response I got: "Unfortunately, the pictures for the catalog were taken before the handbags were made. Once the bag entered into production, it was decided that the tassel and letters would not be included with the bags. I do apologize for this." For $298.00 before taxes you might want to do more that apologize! I have purchased 3 bracelets and all of them are now turning different colors!!!!! RIP OFF!!! At $100. bucks a pop, I would expect better quality!!! DO NOT SHOP MICHAEL KORS!!!! I AM SPREADING THE WORD!!!
Michael Kors quality has really gone downhill. Paid $100 on sale for a $200 retail Michael Kors handbag with lizard purse straps. Have only used this purse about 10-15 times and the straps are fraying and looking horrible. I left a message for Michael Kors Customer Service, will see if they return my call; however, from all these horrible reviews and am not expecting much and realize that I'll have to toss my purse and write it off to a learning experience. Pretty sad for such an expensive retalier!
Bought a signature canvas and leather trim bag from the kors store in mcallen Texas the first week of July. I opted for the metallic bronze finished leather which turned out to be a really bad idea! Iwent back to the store today to complain about the fading on the straps and peeling of the finish on the handled and was asked if I had bought it at the flea market! For the quality the darned thing demonstrated im banking on a replica outlasting this pos! I have coach bags that have been tossed in a washer last longer and look better than this thing! I bazaars that I spent $300 on one bag and coulda gotten two awesome quality coach outlets for the same price! Talk about a total waste of money...
i received a beautiful purse for christmas, it was the grey and white that looks like crocodile. a few months after using it i notice that it was wearing thin on the handle and around the zipper. mostly where you would have it come in contract with your hands. i tried emailing a complaint, i tried to contact your representative at several stores but not answer. i walked into a michael kors store and the manager said she would try to see if they could do anything. i just asked if they could put a chain on to match the logo or a leather strap. i did not have an idea about what to do for the zipper area. i received a call several months later saying there was nothing they could do. if you care about your reputation at all you should honor all these complaints and find a way to fix the purchases or compensate for them. my sons bought this for me in Boston and i am not able to take it back to that store. you are suppose to be an international company but you have a dime store attitude. shame on you, you reputation is what makes your success possible not how many ideas you can con the public into buying. you can reach me at kekeehn@yahoo.com if you care to make good on this present. kitty
I received a MK watch for my bday, and the crown recently felt down.... I didnt even used it that long! A 300 dlls watch! With pieces falling off!! Wtf ! Seriously never buying anything from that brand again
