Horrible Customer Service
The Lenox store in Atlanta is horrible and the people are incredibly rude. I tried to get assistance from Corporate and she started out responsive but then flat out stopped responding completely. Went from saying she'd fix everything to disappearing. I filed a BBB complaint as well but the company apparently doesn't respond to them. Amazing that they care not at all about their customers.
Exchange - What a Joke!
I purchased a pair of booties in the Towson, MD store for my daughter. NOW.. realizing it was a sale I asked several times if she could bring them back and was assured "yes, she will get a store credit". She went into the store to try and get a size up which they did not have and then asked for the store credit and was told she had to pick an item right then and there of equal or lesser value.. are you serious???? what a joke!
Rude and Unproffesional
Recently my daughter and l were in Galleria mall in Buffalo NY we popped in to look at what was new at MK. Saw an Turquoise dress and pair of Jeans to try on. Upon putting pants on they tore. It was her size and they ripped like paper. She tried on the dress and it was all wrinkled as if it had been taken out of the box and just hung up. Really cheap looking. I was looking at bags and had to walk over Hand Bags on the floor that they were putting out on display. Same $1,000 bags we buy! Manager recounted a conversation she just had on the phone with a customer for all to hear, Finally talked down to my daughter and suggested she was not aware of her size of pant. My daughter is 25 and has owned over 50 pair of jeans, I will never shop at MK again.
Bought a handbag at Macy westland Mich snakskin handbag, the button ripped right out of the material in less then a month and I spent 238.00 to buy this chinese junk. My question is what are you going to do about it for me? I have pictures to forward gibe me an e mail address that I can use for the pics.
Bad customer service
Michael Kors is one of the worst companies I've encountered. Non-existent customer service. And appallingly rude and very pushy salespeople.
Awful Experience
Michael Kors is one of the worst companies I've encountered. Non-existent customer service. And appallingly rude salespeople. I will not spend another dime on MK.
Tortoise watch
I love your clothes & handbags I own to many to count. Then I bought myself a tortoise acetate & stainless steel watch first Michael Kors watch ever owned, couldn't wait to wear it.Few hours after wearing it my wrist started to itch look at my wrist & noticed I was having some sort of reaction to the watch.I can no longer wear it.It turns out the acetate caused my skin to burn :(.
CHeap
Their quality of their jackets is poor, their customer services never call you back, I was tempted to buy another jacket from MK but just realizing how their poor quality their stuff are made, made me realized that is a waste of money and time consuming hearing from the other end.
awful customer service
I am soooo disappointed in their customer service! By far the worst I've dealt with in awhile. No one gets back to you about inquires, you get the run around when speaking to people over the phone. Bad quality in their merchandise. All around terrible experience with this name brand.
AWFUL
1 star is too much for them. Their online customer service is a joke. It's run by neiman marcus and no one answers the phone the entire day. I actually did get someone to respond via email, but they stopped responding after 3 emails. Probably 20 unanswered calls, 5 unanswered voicemails, and another 15 unanswered emails, I am stuck with a defective bag (in store managers confirmed it was defective but were unable to exchange because it was purchased online). I am not giving up, but they definitely just lost a customer who has spent over 10k in the past two years. I will never purchase MK again.
Customer service sucks!
I called to make a complaint on the awful customer service I received at the store and they took my complaint and said the regional manager would be in touch. THEN THE STORE MANAGER I WAS COMPLAINING ABOUT CALLED ME!??? A lot of good that would do? I missed the call, and heard the message but am not going to call the person I am complaining about to complain about her. Ridiculous. This is the first and last time I will buy from Michael Kors.
The Dani Ballet Shoes
Mr. Kors I have had the pleasure of wearing many of your shoes, however, none can compare to the Dani Ballet shoes I purchased some time ago. I would like to know where I can find them or whether you plan to release them to market again. I'm sure anyone who has tried them would kill for another pair. I would purchase every color if I could find them. My size is 9.5 which makes it even harder to find. Can you people get back with me and let me know you can tweet me @DragonFly08890 Thank so much, Peace and Light!
MK managers need to be trained on customer service.
For years I have treated myself and purchase a more expensive handbag on Black Friday. This year was no different. I visited the MK outlet at Potomac Mills and had the worst customer service ever. I went into the store and found a bag I really liked and wanted to purchase. The bag was on sale for 30% off sticker price, so I asked the sales rep how much would be taken off the sticker price of the bag. She rudely took the sticker off and said "that is not the correct price, its this price"; pointing to a price which was much higher. I asked to speak to the manager who was just as rude and basically told me that is the price and we can't help you. The MK company needs train and encourage their employees to provide better customer service. As much as I like MK handbags I will never buy another.
AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I went to the store in Bethesda, MD today during my lunch break to exchange an item I received for Christmas. When I first walked into the store the 3 ladies just looked at me and I had to ASK for help when I was the only one in the store. One lady came to me and told me my item was from Macy's and dismissed me. When I informed her (while giving her a odd look) it was clearly purchased my a Michael Kors location (in Georgetown, DC) she looks at my receipt and told me I have to go there for assistance and thanked me for understanding. I told her I DONT understand why I would have to go there if I was already here and she tells me becasue my item was a sale item from them. I have NEVER heard of this and became even more angry and frustrated and left the store. I would never go back there and would tell everyone I know the same! AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!
My husband and I went into Michael Kors last week and spent almost $1000.00 on 2 bags for Christmas gifts. The employee did not take the purse out of the bag to show us the condition of the bag an to ensure all zippers etc work. I had to ask for a cloth bag as it was shoved inside the bag. She then went on to say "it's inside the bag do you want me to take it out for you?" They did not give us gift boxes or tissue with our purchase. We called the store and the associate said to come in for boxes that the employee must have forgotten. My husband shows up (an hour drive away) and was refused 2 boxes because he did not bring in the original receipt. They looked up our phone number but still refused as the account is in my name. We did not get gift boxes. We are going back tomorrow, Christmas Eve to return both purses. I will NEVER purchase a Michael Kors product again. Over the year we have spent at least $10,000 on Michael Kors products. This would never happen at Gucci. Disgusting and appalling.
The Lenox location in Atlanta Georgia is needs to realize that they are simply sales clerks available to help customers. My college daughter has walked in this store #523 multiple times only to be disregarded each and every time. She purchases MK watches like they are water. WE WILL NEVER frequent this store again. If you want great customer service go to the Hilton Head store they know how to work customer service. I buy good from those that understand I appreciate a great sales representative. Even a 1 star is to high for this store.
Terrible Service at MK in Valley Fair Mall, Santa Clara, CA
The staff in the Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, CA store should be FIRED or at the very least, re-educated on proper customer service. I waited in line to purchase a gift card and watched as their 2 sales people at each counter were exceedingly too slow in processing. I knew I was instantly judged by my casual attire when the one sales person finally completed their transaction, they immediately chose to help someone else. I was asked by another woman if I needed help and I said I needed to purchase a gift card and was just told that I could be helped at the register. When the second sales person finally completed his transaction with his customer, he waved a "just a minute" finger at me as he proceeded to attend to a phone call. No one had the forethought to put an additional body at the register, instead the one woman that asked me if I needed help busied herself with a couple in hopes to score a commission most likely. 25 mins later the young woman at the register failed to create a gift card and needed assistance from the man on the phone. They needed a key for the register, and neither of them had it. It's now been half an hour. The man mumbles something about need to get new gift cards in the back area and disappears. Meanwhile the woman that asked if I needed help had appeared at the register to quickly help a customer that was dressed less casual than myself. I had my 2 yr old child with autism quietly watching a movie on his iPad, waiting with me. It was nearing his nap time and any disturbance to his schedule causes serious cognitive/emotional problems. I was so upset by the whole experience, by the time the man came back, I told him forget it, it's taking too long and my son and I left without making the purchase. It was by far the worst service I have ever experienced from a retail store. I thought CHQ should get this message as I am lost revenue to the company and will continue to post this story to any and all review websites I can find.
Watch
I purchased a lovely rose gold watch and after 6 months the color had worn terribly so I sent it out for repair...10 weeks later I had still not heard anything. After several phone calls and emails I had finally received the watch.....with a bill for $10.85 for postage! Are you kidding me! A compnay as upscale as they claim to be with customers service that doesnt even compare to a local grocery store. I not only wish I could return all of the clothes, shoes, and bags I have purchased but I will never spend another dime on MK again. Disgusted and disappointed!
Rude customer service
My father went to buy me a bag i wanted for my graduation and he was in his work clothes worker looked at him and said i dont think you can afford this excuse me ? How rude . As soon as she saw be was purshacing the bag she became very nice glendale galleria location her name was anna . Very dissapointed.
I know several people you work at this store. Management does not convene messages to team members. Also do not live up to promises--such as hours, days of week to work. Too much pressure for sales--you DO NOT PAY commission. Too many associates, super competitive, does not endorse team play. Rewards to only top producer also does not reward for team effort. you have individual and store goals -- but can't meet them if not everyone participates. Personnally was in store buying a gift for someone else. Was being helped by one associate and another associated piped in--first thought that came to my mind is "shark, shark." To tell you the truth, this is NOT the type of service I want to get. SCHEDULING--you employ several students--they have given scheduler there times of availability. Apparently that doesn't seem to make a different--one salesperson had to cut class because was scheduled. bottom line: make your scheduler do his job and work around people's schedules. The work environment to say the least is not good, you get high turnover. I know if I like a salesperson I seek them out--don't know what your thinking/philosphy is, but it sure doesn't seem to be working well at this store. yes you have a well known brand, but good customer service and an enthusiastic sales chore promotes your business even more.
