I recently visted the the Michael Kors store in Ross Park Mall in Pittsburgh. I was greeted by an over zealous sales clerk and I don't mean that in a good way. I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I simply wanted an address to contact Michael Kors and all I got was BS from an over aged snot nosed teenager. For what you charge for your merchandise I would think you could hire some COMPETENT MATURE HELP! Not only am I disappointed in the merchandise I purchased there I am extremely irritated with the entire situation. I can assure you I will never step foot in that store again and I will tell my colleagues about the nonsense that took place in there. Straighten out the hired help!
My silver metalic purse kind of fell apart after 8 months so I retired it..Then I met a woman who said I should contact them and tell the problem. Should I? Would it really mattered.
I brought a watch there and was told the watch wasn't sold anywhere else. But I later found out that was a lie. Had I known it was sold elsewhere I would have never brought it at Michael Kors. The watch is returnable just because it's sized. The jewels on the watch isn't under warrenty. It is impossible to even get a correct number to speak to someone who can take care of the situation. Don't get me wrong. I love the watch. But it is a peace of mind that I just don't have Michael Kors the store.
My recent visit to the Micheal Kors Store at Lenox Square 3393 Peachtree Road NE Atlanta, GA 30326 was not very pleasant. I have been to the store many times and I can honestly say that I have never been impressed with the customer service but, the products is what brought me back time after time. I purchased a watch on Friday came back on Saturday to return it because Bloomingdales had the watch for $50 less. I was treated rudely, the watch was said to be used and not exchanged, I was not even given a credit for the difference of the competitor's price. The taff was rude, condescending, and very unaccomadating. This will be my last purchase to a Micheal Kors store and I will spread the word to as many people as possible not to patronize the Micheal Kors store.
Here is what I experienced at the Michael Kors 974 Madison Avenue store on this past Saturday, November 19th. Arriving at the store around 4 p.m. I had a look around and focused on a pair of kacki shirred beautifully designed silk pants retailing at $1,495., that I’d seen earlier in the season but left in the store because of the price. The saleslady, Mary, said she would try to see whether these pants “might already be on sale.” It turned out she could give me a 50% discount which, of course, made these pants more appealing. She then told me she might have them in black, which made the sale. Only what she didn’t tell me, was that these pants in the black version were not silk, but rather some kind of polyester. What occurred was that after plenty of waiting around, due to Mary’s censoriously telling me that I needed to be patient about hanging around waiting for her to take care of other people who arrived in the store after me, was that when I studied the bill I realized that based on 50% of $1,495 I’d been overcharged since 50% of 1,495 is not $825. Despite Mary’s telling me she was too busy to get involved with this problem, she did manage to squeeze in the time to tell me that it would take until Wednesday if I wanted the store’s seamstress to sew on two missing buttons and to reinforce the rest. How outrageous is that? Fortunately, Maylin another sales lady came to the rescue. It was she who discovered that the black pants in the manmade fiber were $850 and not as Mary had said the same price as the silk Kacki ones. The 50% discount would make them half of that. When I confronted Mary about this, she said “I can’t do everything. Things happen.” I agreed. The thing that happened next was that I had Maylin credit the entire debited amount of the purchase to my Visa and left the store. Not only did I get appallingly poor customer service, but I could easily have been gypped a few hundred dollars. Did Mary apologize? Not at all. Her attitude was she had customers and no time to waste. Corporate Headquarters: Michael Kors (Usa), Inc. 11 W. 42Nd Street New York, NY 10036
I stalked the large Darrington in taupe for over a year. Waiting and hoping for the price of $1195.00 to come down. No one else had it, it's from Michael Kor's "special collection". I would visit the bag everytime I was near a Michael Kor's store. Finally a break Bloomingdale's had the large for $995.00. I purchased without hesitation. Waiting still for the price to come down....another break, sale price $696.00. Bloomingdale's adjusted the price. Now I'm happy, really happy! Took her out to show her off and I can't believe it, the calf skin leather is fading!!!!! It was horrible!! After all of that drama I had to return this beautiful bag. I have many MK bags, never ever had a defect never had one to fade. Not good Michael, not good at all!
