I was looking at getting their best android 4G phone, I was on line and got this wonderful live chat person - she was great with all the answers I was looking for. Decided to use a refurbished unlocked Blackberry 8830 I had purchased on line thinking it was for both GSM and CDMA networks- I have been with ATT for over a decade, but the GSM was for European frequencies not the USA (Verizon market to be able to use internationally) So we stopped the on line order of a $300 phone, and proceeded to the nearest authorized store. First that store is not there., went to next closest store -a WalMart- which told me they dropped MetroPCS after Metro opened up its own stores. Then I went to a KIOSK they listed as an authorized dealer at the Berkshire Mall in Wyomissing, PA. there was a tattooed dude whom you would not expect to be much help but he was very helpful. but the people running the kiosk there apparently ran one at another local mall , and he just got there, and he complained that he had to clean up the other guys mess, and they had not paid him yet nor his commissions, (this should warn anyone) the numbers on their store locator web page seem to be the same for all stores where they list the number. They list the Best Buys as a dealer, they don't seem to be interested in selling hte Metro phones and services. They list a corporate store in Upper Darby, PA- was thinking of going there, but Somehow it seems something so hard to accomplish is usually an omen of nightmares to come as I see now, after reading all these blogs at this site- with all these people and their complaints -- HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS!! I don't know what to think they have been in around the Philadelphia area for many years, and have recently made major expansions- is this just growing pains or are they really just a major scam? Their plans seem most reasonable, what they all should be charging, maybe the lack of support personnel is the trade off for these pricing plans as Verizon and ATT R just as much a scam with their fees and very costly Data plans- that are metered- with and without contracts. Well when in doubt -- do nothing! -and wait to see how things shake out)

Purchased a phone that never gave me problems in many areas of my county. NO SERVICE. But thats not what my complaint is here, my complaint is my phone had problems with it after having it for a few months. Tried to return it which was a minor problem that turned into a major problem. My phone kept turning off nd I took it in. They checked it sold me a new battery, nd i had to charge the battery so I went home. To my surprise the phone started doing the same thing like before, turning off and on on its own constantly. Took the phone back which they said would be sent to the corporate office taking 1 1/2 to be sent back. I asked for a replacement fone for the meant time which they wouldnt do. So to make a long story short it took a month for me to get a phone back nd i had to pay $30 for a replacement fone for the time being. I now call this company MetroPieceOfShit. I give a (-5) Customer Serv. unless dealing with corporate, (-5) Phone Recept., (-5)To all these stores using Metro name.

U r false. Advertisement 4g do not buy this it sucks. It hardly ever works what a total waste of money. Do not buy samsung indulge 4g rip off! Go get a iphone @ another company!

I have started a petition against MetroPCS for their poor customer service and other issues we are all aware of. I am working with one of the bigger name companies. They have asked that I bring 10,000 people out of metros ruble and they will give us the same plans as metro with their service and network with a phone of our choice by paying our bill as usual. This is a benefit for us both and a Half of a Million Dollar downfall for metro. (Every month). It will happen so sudden. They will feel us then. We are tired of being neglected as customers. I PURCHASED 2 PHONES BACK IN APRIL,AS WELL AS SERVICE.I HAVE SINCE THEN MOVED,AND HAVE CONTINUED TO KEEP MY SERVICE WITH METROPCS,BUT MY PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I PURCHASED THE SERVICE I WAS NOT ASKED FOR A SECURITY CODE,AND NOW I CAN'T ACCESS MY ACCOUNT,AND NO ONE IS ABLE TO HELP ME.

I've been a metro pcs customer for a few years now And overall it's been a positive experience... I started with a simple clamshell phone And I now have an android phone. _With one notable exception I get reasonably good service. I live in a small suburb of Tampa, Florida - by small I mean SMALL... I have a good, strong signal in my immediate area, but my father and sister live a mile or less from me (in the same SMALL suburb) and they are nearly impossible to reach because their signal is soooo bad. Did I mention they live in a neighborhood DIRECTLY behind a Metro store - the one we both bought our phones and service from? Poor fellow that owns this store tells me he is trying to collect enough names to lobby METRO for some truly wondrous device to improve the situation and here we are... luckily the poor man supliments his income selling women's handbags and faux@ designer perfumes. I guess we do what we must...

NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN A COMPANY CUT SO MANY CORNERS! AND YOU ALL GET AWAY WITH IT. I am ALWAYS CHEATED for money, & i left Verizon for THISS!!! Came here bec. Of low prices and family referral but my NEW phone quickly froze a lot, i want receiving incoming phone calls (isnt that the point) & my internet never workd & texts OFTEN DIDNT SENF. everytime i called *611 i had to trick the limited options and yell OPERATOR to the top of my lungs just to get thru to a foreigner that never understood. I travelled from store to store wasting gas for them to "reboot" and put work orders in, but that was just a false pacifier & never changed. FINALLY YESTERDAY I HAD TO BUY A NEW PHONE FOR YOUR MISTAKE AND THEY CHEATED ME OUT OF A NEW BATTERY AND MY PHONE HAS TO STAY CHARGED. YOU MAKE IT HARD TO COMPLAIN BC U KNOW THERE ARE MANY. YOU

I have to say, until running accrossed this page I was chomping at the bit to get away from Sprint to Metro PCS. From what I'm reading here, my assumption that Metro would be fair, and work hard to keep their customers happy is false. In fact, I'd be terrified to pay the no contract phone price and do business with this company. I rated them poor because these complaints should not be happening. My sincere thanks to all of you who have left your complaints and kept me from making a huge mistake!

I switched to metro pcs about 10 DAYS ago and cannot believe I want to go running back to my old carrier! First of of the signal SUCKS! I don't get any signal anywhere, and when I say anywhere, I mean ANYWHERE. I bought a smartphone that turned out to be far from what the title claims it to be! Mind you, I bought this phone 10 days ago and the phone is new, hasn't fallen, hasn't been dropped in water, hasn't been abducted by aliens, NOTHING, after the 7-day return policy in which you get a FULL refund if "you are dissatisfied with the phone or service" my phone starts acting crazy, metro pcs DISCONNECTED MY PHONE SERVICE THREE TIMES in ONE DAY! For no apparent reason, I had a whole 3 weeks before my bill is due!! Now, they're telling me that I'm not entitled to a refund because the 7-day mark has passed....???!! and lastly, like I said, I have a smart phone that requires the plan that gives you internet and a whole bunch of other unnecessary stuff, that's what I paid for... and I have NO INTERNET, I use the phone in my house mostly, where I have WIFI, and for some strange reason, not even the TECH support knew what to do!!!?? I'm going back to my old carrier, STRAIGHTTALK, which is cheap and you can get FULL signal EVERYWHERE, I regret ever leaving them.

I have been a customer for several years. I will be transferring my number to another provider ASAP. I tried to get an 5 day extension on my bill. I was informed that METRO PCS does not care about its customer or the quality of the service. I never asked for the tons of advertisements that I receive each day and I have never been late on my phone bill in all the time I have had this substandard service. I am so disappointed in your company that I am looking forward to getting a new service provider. I would not recommend your service to anyone for any reason.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY EVER EXISTED IN WIRELESS PHONES INDUSTRY. THEY HAVE NO ETHOCS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND METRO PCS TO ANYONE. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS. THE PHONES AND THE RECEPTION ARE ALSO EXTREMELY POOR !! !!!! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE. IT MAY BE CHEAP BUT U ALSO GET THE MOST CHEAP TREATMENT.

So far I have not had any issues with Metro PCS but the one thing I wish the had was a better selection of phones so many people are looking for cool phone that can be affordable and its hard with our economy so I think Metro PCS should think about getting the iPhone,ect.

On June 9, 2011 @ 7:00 PM, I entered into one of the Metro PCS stores located at 2984 Wheatland Rd. Dallas, Texas 75237. The only thing I needed was a wall charger for my phone at home. There were two young ladies working behind the counter that evening very loud, and un-professional. As my 10 year old daughter and I walked into the store there were young guys in the store flirting with the associates. The young ladies were using a lot of profanity, sexual explicit words that I was ashamed of hearing. I purchased the wall charger (thinking that would work) and it didn’t. I traveled all the way home and it did not work! Needless to say I was a little upset. So I went back to the store for a return and one of the associates told me that it was my phone and not the charger. So she tried her phone and it worked. She also stated that I could buy another charger that was up against the wall and see if that would work…it didn’t! At this point I was furious because I was being charged twice for a charger that didn’t work! Finally, one of the associates said that I needed a new phone. An order was placed and I was told it could take up to three business days for me to get the new one. The phone was free because it’s still under warranty…Thank goodness. On June 15, 2011, I came back into the same store to pick up my phone and Lord what did I walk into! The same two young ladies (which they did not want to reveal their names) were there. There was loud rap music (with lots of profanity and sexual explicit words) blasting loudly as if we were in a club! One of the young girls was smoking a cigarette in the back while the other one was flirting with other guys (all this in front of my 10 year old daughter)! My phone was ordered liked they said, but they could not move all of my contact phone numbers to the other phone due to the

I'm rating customer service. We just purchased the new android have been experiencing some technical issues and rightly so, they are fairly new. My husband went into the place we bought the phones from to address the issues (13387 West Colonial Drive Winter Garden Florida). First, no one acknowledged he was even there he made the first verbal contact (in this economy...they should be rolling out the red carpet to customers)even still the yougn lady didn't make eye contact and continued doing whatever it is she was doing. It was not until my husband began to assert his rights as a cumstomer and demanded customer service that they (another guy in the store) began to pay him any attention. He brought up the fact that we've spent hundreds of dollars in this paticular location and that he deserved to be treated with as such...at least an acknowledgement?? So as far as customer service the "big guy" whoever he is needs to really train his employees in a course of "CUSTORMER SERVICE 101"...we may switch!! Maybe someone else needs the monye!!! I have not yet received a letter back from customer service in Dallas with a set of earphones I was promised.. The phone cost $9.95 on line and your dealer sold it to me for $29.95 and said I got free earphones and then gave me a pair for an LG phone. I went to your Aramingo office to find out why the phone was not functioning properly. The mute came on, calls were interrupted, calls were tapped, calls were disconnected. I went to your Broad Street office to get the phone checked. He said he was upgrading it. If it was new why did it need an upgrade? I never was given the code to the phone and repeated changes were made. Broad street Corporate said I had to buy the earphones which I then wrote you for - and which I have not received. The phone needs to be taken back and I need to be given a new phone that functions properly. Thanks for writing from Dallas. I paid my bill yesterday and I still owe you scam artists four dollars!?

March 11, 2011 I paid $219.00 for an Android phone from Metro PC. In May the phone went blank. It would not charge or resume working. The store where I made the purchase referred me to the service center. Being there was like being in the unemployment office. I had to pay an additional $10.00 and the wait was long. On top of that I had to wait several days before recieving another phone. I was told it was new. However, the second phone stopped working also after three weeks. It does not charge adequately and turns off shortly after charging it. I have to plug it to an outlet to use it. I will be giving this information to the Better Business Bureau. What a disappointment! This company's product is inferior and they continue to distribute it at the expense of the public's money, time.

metro needs to expand into n. central fl.outside of gainesville !had xcellant service all south of ocala fl. all up to mich. thier all over the country whats wrong with chiefland ,bell, fanning springs area no towers ?
