Metro has some of the rudest employees and is only helpful when trying to sell you something,they are very inconsiderate of waiting customers and in most stores do not even acknowledge you,boy do they need a lot of training.
I wish they had a rating of 0 stars... the people that run the cooperate store in westland are Ridiculous, Rude, and should be ashamed of themselves for first, conducting such poor customer service, and secondly, hiring in managers that scream at ALL their customers until they run out because no matter what the situation they are not to blame and are NOT there to help. Oh, and one more thing I thought I'd mention, if you think paying your bill on time will keep your phone from being turned off, think again... But this really burns me up, I bought a new phone a month ago and now it wont turn on. Their reply nothing we can do, but you can buy a new one. Yeah right, Id rather find some poor person down on their luck and hand them the $100 at least I would get some satisfaction knowing that the greedy S.O.B.S at metro wont be getting their hands on my hard earned MONEY!!! BEWARE!!!! DON'T BUY THEIR LIES!!!!!!
Is there a rating below 1? Dear God, this is the worst customer service that I have EVER experienced... The phone works okay downtown, but drops at my house - contrary to the coverage map... Why are they hiding behind an automated system instead of making a human available to answer simple questions... Awful!!!!!!!!1
I am a new customer to Metro PCs, I have never encounter such a bad customer service and online support as metro pcs provides. The website options to make a payment are frustrating. I will just want to suggest for the people who manages the online payment part of metro, to take a good look of any of the major credit card website for them to see how easy is to set up a payment date on those sites compare to metro's bill pay.
Thought I would switch over to Metro so I went into store, ported my number to new phone (I thought). Was told I could not return the phone because I ported the number in. Thought this was strange. Phone was a problem from day one. After desperation I called customer service to ask if this was their policy, not being able to return phone because of it being ported. The answer was no, that was not their policy. Was directed to corporate store and find that phone could not be returned after one week. They finally gave me another phone and before I left the store there was a problem. So they give me another phone and upon returning home, the phone would not work. I neither received calls nor could I make them. Finally, got to a phone and called corporate store. They said bring it in and they would give me a new phone. I found that they were giving me recycled phones. I had paid for a new one. This morning 1-22-12 I am going back in to get this new phone. Will let you know.

You have the worst service I've ever had. Your company is a joke. Internet goes on & off every 2 to 3 min. Kicked off on line games because of low signal. As soon I can sell this phone I'm done with metro forever. Let everyone u know, stay away from metro service. YOU SUCK METRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased a phone and plan.I had a problem with the reception and the phone shutting down all the time. I took phone back and they worked there magic, told me give it a couple weeks , and if there is still a problem bring it back. Took the phone back again, and they worked there magic again..Still same problem , they told me it was a problem with the phone and i had to take it to an authorized dealer.I did that, and they said I could buy a used phone for $25.00 or wait 1-2 weeks and pay $15.00 for a used phone or try corp. If there was a score for service it would be in the negative numbers.I for some reason spent 7 1/2 hrs on the phone. everyone is so sorry there ,and there is never no one higher than a supervisor,thats high as you can go (unless you want to drive to texas to get the corp phone number,I was told that also) .There is no other phone numbers to call the only thing left for them to do is put you on hold and disconnect you. I am now to the point of making a 3 hr round trip(nothing said about that) so that another one of their stores can look at my phone and tell me what the other 2 stores have already said... Not looking forward to making the drive or to find out how much more it will cost..Lesson learned, IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GET IT REPLACED BEFORE THE WARRANTY IS OUT me waiting like I was told pushed me right of the seven day warrant, and now this what i have to deal with.
You all are just idoits. That's why you read everything about the product before you decide to purchase it. I agree with the sales people at metro try to just upsale you. But that is every business no matter where you go. Its basically your own FAULT for falling for such fibs (lies). I have a metro pcs phone (samsung galaxy), I know what i got for the price. For every 1 person that complains they are 20 others that are happy with the service. DO YOU ALL ACTUALLY BELIEVE IN THIS WORLD ANY COMPANY GIVES A SHIT WHAT YOU THINK? There are others that would just take your spot. That is how this bullshit universe turns. NO MATTER WHAT COMPANY YOU'RE WITH, YOU ARE STILL GOING TO GET FUCKED WITH NO LUBE!
just bought an admire 11/22/11 from metro at 703 landis ave. vineland nj. i told the guy i wanted a phone that can play netflix. my mom has the 2.2 optimum, my girl has 2.3 galaxy. he suggested to me to get the 2.3 admire red. nice phone the only problem is it doesnt play netflix right. its jerky, pausing, and audio and video is not in sync. i went back to the store 3 times to have my phone exchange, or fixed but he keep telling me i cant get a new phone . he even put the app. in and it did the same there. he tried to make me send a broke phone off and charge me for it and my phone is less than a week old. i feel hustled. now i have to try to find a corperate office to get a phone or im just beat. there sales people only tries to sell the phones but not help in service. maybe thats why everyone is going to cricket right next door. i want a phone that works or just give me my money back.
your company is sorry and you have permanently lost a customer. You are trying to steal money from me also. I have to challenge it with my credit card. Tonesha at store 1008 in atlanta was the most piss poor excuse of a manager i have ever seen ( and I have seen some pretty bad ones). top to bottom your company needs a customer service overhaul as Metro PCS at present is pure garbage.
Metro's customer service is terrible. The store that I bought my phone at doesnt even have a telephone number to contact them back at. That should tell ya something. I purchased a 370.0 galaxy phone and was promised by Edwardo the manager that my phone could be used as a modem for the internet. That is the only reason I bought that phone. I find out after i purchase it that Metro does not do that with any of their phones. You can get wi fi but not use it as a connection modem. Then the rebate form he gives me is one at wich my phone purchase doesn't qualify. I try to call the store where I purchased it and there is no phone number. I try to return it and you cant return it if you have over an hour of talk time on it. That is a crock of crap. So now I am stuck with a phone I hate and out 370.oo and when I finally get a real live customer service rep the rude rude lady put me on hold forever and then hung up on me. Metro you need to have some customer service training. I wouldnt recommend this service to anyone.
Went to pay the bill only for Stephen Ngarihu of $45.00 for this month of Oct.2011. Accepted by merchant of payment, went on about my way took the receipt back to Stephen Ngarihu for it had been taken care of before deadline. Next day Stephen Ngarihu phone was shut off, could not make calls. Stephen Ngarihu went back to find out what was going on, told then need to pay complete bill of $90.00. Susan Tenai is in Africa for two months not using the phone. Only wanted to pay the bill for Stephen Ngarihu. You need to get someone in these stores that can speak English to understand what we Americans are saying to them. Customers are your business, take care of them. METROPCS IS A RIPOFF......Metro sucks...........I have been a customer for 3 yrs and have purchased several different phones from them.....I was out of state for a while and 2 months after I got back I got a text message that stated my phone would be disconnected on my next due date.....Well I called the store in my town and talked to them and was told to pay my bill and everything should be okay....did that and then they cut my phone off....needless to say I had only had the phone for about 6months when this happened so basically I lost 200.00.......I asked them why this wasnt done while I was out of state but got no answer.....I have been given the run around, have talked to I dont know how many different people but always getting a different answer from them....was hung up on several times.....customer service is rude......and now I have been told I have to go to a corporate store to get something done which is over a 100 miles from me.....nobody can give me a phone # or email address for a corporate store....what kind of business are u people running??????? I am switching to STRAIGHT TALK for 50.00 a month....I have talked to several people about this company and they have all told me that their phone works everywhere as to to where metros doesnt......and to top it all off the phone shuts off and on when it wants to.....I have friends that have the same issue.....As far as you being charged in the store for making a payment you can avoid that by going online and making the payment with no fee.....
i was in the store in longview texas and bought a new phone a blackberry and had to pay for the change they asked if ui wanted to pay the additinal $5 to ahve my due date changed this was on sept 23 due date was sept24th paid it and they did not tell me u have to call customer service and tell them so on the 24th my phone diconectted cost me $10 more dollars to have to turned back on not to say the phone dont work suppose to get new one tomorrow they are ruid and they lie to suit there selves i was not very nice this mornin so far im out $315 for a phone i cant use then u call customer service and they cant or wont do anyhting the people at the store say there new and forget everything there suppose to tell u well i did not forget to tell him where to put this phone and his excuses people save urself go else where they lie steal and cheat u and dont care
Everyone or should i say anyone who is reading this let me know a number to where should i call over payment over charging I have had metropcs for over a year i been paying in this store in california name one stop wireless in riverside i hate it so much can you beleive the CHARGE $5 TO PAY YOUR BILL!!!! its crazy everytime i go in that store nobody leaves without arguing about the PAYMENT FEE!!! Its just ridicilous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Metro PCS, Your products and service are indeed poor, as I have indicated with my one star (which I feel is quite generous). However, the reason I am posting this open letter is to tell you that your ad campaign featuring Tech and Talk is outright racist and appeals to the lowest common denominator. I will tell anyone who will listen to boycott your company as long as you continue to run these deplorable commercials.
Metro PCS did not set up my phone to save my contact list eventhough I was paying for the service. I lost all my contact list due to the fact that the system was not set up on my phone. The corporate office where I bought my phone in Arlington, Texas (at 818 E Abrams) did not care.
The absolute WORST company to do business with. You can NOT reach a warm body. I don't know how they stay in business. I'll bet it's Al Qaeda's way of screwing us.
Feb 17 2012 my lady Friend walked into Metro pcs store to pay my phone bill this manger who was very verbally abusive to my Friend and verbally abusive toward me and then was physically abusive towards me Metro pcs manger of this store physically put his hands on me and physically hit me very hard in my chest so hard that it knocked the breath out of me , after I caught my breath I got up . I couldn’t believe your Metro PCS employee put his hands on me. etc.. I file a complaint to Sacramento CA.Headquarters about this complaint.Never contact me yet I need some help
