MetroPCS sucks terrible horrible customer service. For over a week I argued, begged and pleaded at every level, 6 store reps, 6 online reps. In my opinion all of them incompetent and many rude. Autopay account deleted and recreate at least 4 times. Everyone keeps saying the same thing just go in and update to account info. The account was even verified by a Corporate Center supervisor. Phone service has been shut off twice. Even after the store manager at the corporate Center assured me that it ad been restored. Then I found the emails for coroprate HQ. ANYONE WHO OWNS A LAPTOP SHOULD KNOW OVER TIME THE BATTERY WILL LOOSE ITS CHARGE YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE IT. DID YOU KNOW SAVING THINGS ON YOUR PHONE MAKES YOUR PHONE RUN SLOWER THATS WHY METROPCS OFFERS SD CARDS TO STORE SHIT ON IT. AND THE WHOLE REFUND THING AGAIN READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IT STATES THAT METROPCS DOES NOT DO REFUND. EVERY COMPANY HAS TERMS AND CONDTIONS IF YOU DONT PAY A COMPANY THAT YOU SIGNED A TWO YEAR CONTRACT ON WHAT HAPPENS YOUR SHIT IS CUT OFF AND YOUR CREDIT IS FUCKED AND YOU HAVE DEBIT COLLECTORS CALLING YOU TELLING YOU THAT OWE MONEY. YEA ITS GREAT TO HAVE THE COOLEST PHONES OUT THERE BUT THINK ABOUT THE LONG RUN.
I'm a Metro customer. I live in an area where there isn't the best service and I also don't have the best smart phone (wildfire). BUT even though these things are true, I get great service for being in the not so covered area, and my phone has been working great with no problems! You are all unhappy about this and about that because you're to busy trying to get a 'cheap' phone bill and aren't paying attention to everything else. OR you don't know how to operate what you've just spent your money on. SMART PHONES are just like COMPUTERS except with less space and way smaller, with COMMON SENSE there are obviously going to be problems if they're trying to cram so much stuff into such small items. You also can't have a million and a half things running and expect it to be the greatest phone. YES, having a lot of things running will slow down your phone, cause it to freeze, etc. Even browsing history will make it slow, freeze, etc. KNOW ABOUT SMART PHONES BEFORE YOU BUY THEM! THERFORE, quit complaining! METRO PCS is great service, and cheap, PLUS you can pay for 4G service and actually get 4G, unlike sprint.

SO I CALL ABOUT MY DATA USAGE AND THEY TELL ME ILL HAVE TO SWITCH TO THE 2.5GB SO I DO THEN AFTERWARDS I GET ON YOUTUBE WATCH A FEW VIDEOS AND NEXT THING I KNOW IM GETTING A TEXT MESSAGE SAYING THAT I HAVE USED UP ALL MY DATA USAGE FOR THE MONTH....WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! Metro PCS has terrible customer relations. Not only do they want the automated teller to do all the work, they also have representatives that are hard to understand when they speak. I know it frustrates them just as much as me to have me keep saying "can you repeat that. I know everyone needs work but if you're going to outsource customer service, please ensure that their English is clear....its the only language I speak. Not good for the customer on the other end. My main issue is this. I have been a customer since 2006 and was on a 4 for $100 plan. Worked out great with having teenagers. Unfortunately, when everyone decided to get upgraded phones, the plan I enrolled in was no longer honored. One employee grandfathered it back in but someone else just took it out stating that I now have smartphones on my plan which is not covered under the 4 for $100. Well, aren't all phones smartphones now. Regardless of the phones I feel I should have been allowed to keep my original plan. Now I've gone from $114 to $160, yet the service is the same. I can add a line at verizon for $10/month extra regardless of whatever phone I purchase. I also will be a leaving customer because the service isn't spectacular, the rates were. I can tell metro pcs where all the drop call locations are in my surrounding area...and trust me there's several. And where exactly is the corporate office with the CEO, is he in another country too.....I believe so, check out the commercials.
Since yesterday I havn't been able to call my parents in Georgia (The Country in Europe). I have been calling them using my metro pcs phone for the last 4 years every day. I loved it and never got an iPhone simply because this international call to Georgia to my parents was so important for me and the rates were great but yesterday it all changed when I dialed the number I received autoasnwer that if I want to call this number I will have to purchase a metro card :( I got really upset so I called their customer service. They hung up on me 5 times even though I was extreamly nice to them and was only trying to find out what had happened and if this change was permanent or temporary. I even asked their customer service people to call me in case we get disconnected, they said they will but never called me back even though they confirmed they would after I told them my number. I know it was not due to reception becasue that is where I usually have lengthy converstations every day. So finally I got a hold of customer service rep who did not stumble, spoke okay english and decided to elevate this to his manager to find out if the change was temporary or permanent. In addition I also contact Georgian community here in SF Bay Area and asked if they have heard anything as to why metro does not allow Georgia calls anymore as I knew many have Metro PCS phone specifically because it could call Georgia but what I discovered was that one of the Georgian girls have discovered from Metro PCS that they did not renew their contract with Georgia because it was not WORTH IT?!!?!?!?!?! I can't believe my eyes and ears. So How can it not be worth for a metro PCS to renew contract with Georgia if the only reason why I THE CUSTOMER use them is because they have the contract with Georgia and allowed calls to Georgia? And why just cold cutting this service without heads up or any warning to your customers? They are so quick to send you thank you for your payment txt message or that your balance is due or some other retarded messages but when they are cancelling major part of your service they are mute.... What the hell is this? I really want this service back or else we are going to flash Metro down the toilet where it belongs.
I bought a car charger in Kennesaw Georgia that wouldn't work. When I brought it back to the store they told me that I didn't buy it from them and told me that because they were out that there was nothing they could do for me and that I could go to a headquarter store to buy another car charger :( When I plug the car charger in the Metropcs lights up and when I plug it into my Galaxy phone it wouldn't charge.
Ive been with the company for awhile and I love the services I get I just hope they keep improving the services and phones great job

I was with MetroPCS for about 3 years. I like the unlimited call and texting. I had no problem with service. Barely had a dropped call. The internet was horrible, but it could have been the phone I had, I don't know, but it's was really slow and sometimes I couldn't get on it. I had the $40 plan. So why change? Well I always refilled my account online. For almost 3 years. Then suddenly they said they didn't take my credit card. I was like WHAT? So I called their customer service. Yes their customer service is horrible. No doubt about that. They are following a script, and if you ask questions outside their script, they just go negative on you. They told me when I was on the phone with them, that they would take my payment over the phone. So I thought, ok, maybe the website is screwy, so I said ok. So then they told me there was a $2.00 service charge? So me already being on a limited budget, said forget that! I'm not paying you a service charge because your stupid website won't take my credit card! Long story short, I asked for a supervisior, I was put on hold for 20 minutes, before I finally just hung up. The next day I went out and got the Straight Talk plan. For $45 a month I got an Android phone (I would have had to go with the $50 month plan with MetroPCS if I wanted an Android) I just went to refill for the first time today. Guess what? Straight talk wants .95cents for using a credit card to pay. I have really bad service with straight talk so far. My friends and family are getting annoyed at the dropped calls. I'm contantly getting out of range. But I'm sure it's because they piggy back on the sprint network and sprint is horrible too. I'm now looking into finding another company. Or I'm going to have to go into these stores like the illegals do and pay cash to avoid these fees. These phone companies that we turn to in order to help us keep out costs now are getting as gouging as the monopolizing companies.

Metro pcs agents dont know how to talk to customers on the phone, or how to keep a customer happy and as a customer, especially a loyal customer as my girlfriend and i are. we have been with metro for about 3yrs, and you would think this kind of loyalty, would deserve better treatment by the agents and supervisors and managers. I will say this, if your looking for temp. this company may suit you, but, if you plan to be a loyal customer as we have been, i would think twice. Before, i used to brag about and try to get my friends and neighbors to switch to metro, but, now i dont know.
On January 14th, 2012 I went in to the new store in the new Kendall shopping center off Killian (SW 104th St) & SW 117th Ave, I was told by the manager about a promotion on the LG phones with a rebate of $30.00 we were to get in the mail in the form of a Visa Credit Card within 4 weeks. Six weeks later, I waited for our rebate in the mail, instead we received a postcard from MetroPCS that indicated the rebate form completed by the woman in the store was no longer valid, the promotion had expired, I called the # on the postcard and explained I was promised by this store about their promotion, the woman said she had fixed the problem in the system and I would get my rebate, another month went by and I received another postcard indicating the same thing, the promotion had expired! I called again, this time I spoke to a supervisor on March 21st, he said this time you'll receive your $30.00 rebate within 15 days, I am still waiting. Do not buy any phones with rebates, they lie in order to get you to buy a phone, MetroPCS is the worst company there is! I will demand an investigation because I was lied to and the store owner and management say "they have nothing to do with that" it is out of their hands! BULLSHIT!!! I bought the phone from them, yet the refuse to move a finger!
Metro pcs will b losing a customer in me. Two weekends ago I tried to pay my bill online and was denied three times. When it finally went through (I GOT confirmation through text n email) my service was disconnected anyway. When I called initially, I was told the payment was on hold by the credit card company. I paid over the phone and called my credit card company. They told me that the first payment went through. I called back metro and they told me that I havent paid since feb. This is april. How is that possible when I paid for march? I requested for credit on the 3 dollar surcharge for using the phone and they refused. They were at fault and wouldnt give me credit for $3? Well I will b leaving them at the end of this month. Too bad because their phones werent too bad.
I paid my account in advance,($200 credit)and now i've decided i no longer want thier service, they are taking FOREVER to return my money. Giving me a B.S. excuse that my mailing address isnt validated. NOT VALIDATED?? Well, children & families thinks otherwise. I get mail from them every 3 months. Its a shame Metropcs does this to dedicated customers.
Metro PCS customer service is the worse . I have been a customer for 2 years on a family plan and just like that without any notice they just took the country where I call international . Every time I call customer service every representative give me different answers to why my international call is not working . Now they want me to buy a metro phone card to call. That's crazy? Honestly the service was not good but I got to call my sick parents everyday
OMG,I switched from TMOBILE, who's customer service was out of this world, to piss poor customer service with Metro. On there website they say you can pay with e-check, but give you no option to do so. I called customer service and asked for a corporate phone number and they gave me the number for Baylor Garland Hospital. I called the customer service number back and spent 2 hours on the phone trying to actually get a live person. I repeatly asked for customer service and the automated kept saying, let me see if I can help. I was able to get thru, when i finally realized not to answer the prompts and it would let you thru. Im out of state trying to pay my bill, but the e-check option is not listed online. I am telling all my friends to not go to metro, because they area joke. I would rather pay higher phone bill and get GREAT customer service, than to pay a cheaper bill and get crapy service.
I returned a LG Esteem that kept cutting off durning calls and text. The camera also had issues. It had 58min and 04 sec of talk time on it. They still found a reason to send it back to me. But when i ask why was it returned to me i could not get a reason. The return policy is a game. They tell you no question as long as it is less than 60 min and in original package and everything is in the box. But still find a reason not to refund you your money. Then when you call u get transferred from person to person wasting time and still no answers. Metro PCS needs to be reported to BBB for false representation and not sticking to there policy. DO NOT BUY THE LG ESTEEM IT IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. IT TURNS OFF, FREEZES DURING TEXT THEN TURN OFF, CAMERA WILL NOT WORK WITH OUT SD CARD AND THEY KNOW THAT THE PHONE HAS PROBLEM. TOLD ME LG WAS WORKING ON IT. i love metro good service but if they really want to make customers happy they need to get in to the game with their competition cricket,boost and virgin i see all getting the iphone at $55 dollars a month... metro you guys need to get with the game besides that i have no problem with service
