I have been purchasing products from Soap.com, because of not being able to find items in the store. I purchase at West Main in Kalamazoo. I have spoken to a HBA associate about the low levels ordered for Aveeno Body Wash FF (Fragrance Free) and Basis Cleanser. This week I went in to obtain these items again and I usually purchase more than one at a time, but lo and behold neither were on the shelf. I left the store angry at a wasted trip and got on line. My items plus some other things I ordered came to my door. Hassle free.

On Wednesday June 15, 2011, I was prescribed an Cortisporin Opthalmic Drops. The West Main store in Kalamazoo was out of stock. Because of the late time in the day, the medication could not be ordered until Thursday with pick up on Friday. My eye was itching and red, so I checked at other pharmacies in the area to find if they had the drops. No go. The medication would not come in until Monday! I went back to Meijer and the pharmacist, Martin Steinke, became involved in my problem. He called several other Meijer stores to locate drops and found one in Battle Creek. I had to go to Jackson the next day, so he had the prescription put in the computer, but filled by the BC store. It turned out my trip was cancelled, but I still made the trip to BC to obtain the drops after I finished work the next day. I feel Mr. Steinke went above and beyond the call of duty to serve me. I appreciate his efforts and kindness. I am well known in the pharmacy as that complaining nurse person, but on the other side of the coin I believe in giving praise when and where praise is due. Please let Mr. Steinke and his supervisors know how much I appreciated the extra effort. I left the store very satisfied knowing I would be able to get my eye started on the drops the very next day. It was a great comfort to know someone actually cared about my eye. I felt like a person and not a number. As a nurse and a GED instructor I know all about compassion. Mr. Steinke should be recognized for the polite, compassionate, and swift way he handled my problem.

How do you get to the silent whistle program? Things I would like to share but after reading some of these comments not sure Meijer really wants to know because they don't resond to problems anyways.

I went shopping tonight 6-26-11 at 1:30 in the morning. There coupon paper said sale starting 06-26-11. I wanted to get 2 24 paks of Mountain Dew for sale price of $ 10.00 and asked an employee if I could get the deal since it was after 12 midnight and was told no that I had to wait for morning. I went to check out and bought $240.00 on grocerys. First the computer broke at the end of me checking out and the girl had to help. The acted like I had done something she said your register is full. I said hows that after about 29 minutes she said well it was full I repied look up and tell me what the sign says it read unlimited amount so I say thats not my fault. I check out and the lady behind me says I want the Mountain Dew deal and the manager said no problem I in return said hey I asked for that and was told no. Can I exchance my pop for it and the manager says we would have to return your pop no I'm sorry there is nothing we can do. Meijers in Lincoln Park michigan my request is If you do for one you should have did for others I got ripped 10 cans of mountain Dew. What I feel is your manager could have straighted it out and made it fair but I believe she was lazy, I spend alot of money there and was disappointed will be shopping at Krogers for now own.

i went to the meijer on brown road in auburn hills.I first get out my car and it trash all over the parking lot, then i get into the store and theirs no shopping cart. They did show me where the dog food was,but i need help with putting a big bag dog food in my cart.No one from meijer help me.i even got on the red phone someone told me in just a mintue and it take 30 mintue thats just crazy.

I just wanted to say you guys are blowing all of your problems with meijer out of proportion. @Lee Hammer. I think your story isnt the truth at all. Rob Benedum is currently my store director and in no way have I seen him treat anyone like this. Also they do not suspend individuals for more then five days. Dont you know the discipline prodcedures? And also you are union, you can not be FIRED!

I would have given a 0 star but they have none. I am an employee of a Meijer around the Toledo area, what I have been through sence being hired is unreal. I am not the only one either. The store I am from is the WORST place I have ever worked, but its a job and I have applied for many. Jobs are hard to come by. tHEIR MANAGEMENT SUCKS AND VERY ON FARE AT THIS mEIJERS. tHERE ARE A FEW GOOD ONES BUT ONLY A FEW. tHE PRIVACY POLICY STINKS, WHEN MANAGEMENT HEARS SOMETHING ABOUT AN EMPLOYEE THEY RUN THEIR MOUTH TO THEIR BUTT KISSING EMPLOYEES. mANAGEMNET PARTIES TO MUCH WITH THE KIDS THAT WORK AT MY STORE AND AT WORK ITS ALL ABOUT THE ONES WHO ARE PARTY BUDDIES OF SOME TEAM LEADERS. THE TEAM LEADERS EVEN PLAY VIDEO GAMES WITH OUR YOUNGER EMPLOYEES. ALL FINE AND DANDY BUT WHEN BROUGHT TO WORK AND THE GOOD WORKERS WHO DONT PARTY AND HANG OUT WITH OUR TEAM LEADERS SUFFER AND ARE TREATED ALOT DIFF. WHEN YOUR HIRED FOR A JOB THERE MANY ARE NOT TOLD WHAT THERE JOB RELATES TO. EITHER WE DO MORE THEN WHAT WE WERE HIRED FOR OR WE GET A NICE WRITE UP. OH BUT THATS THE ONES WHO DONT KISS ASS.. YOUR NOT TRAINED WELL AT OUR STORE BECAUSE ALOT OF OUR TEAM LEADERS DONT KNOW ANY MORE THEN WE DO. THEN WHEN YOU MESS UP WE GET WROTE UP NOT THE ONES WHO SHOULD BE HELPING US EMPLOYEES. SO MUCH FAVORTISUN AT MY STORE ITS UNREAL. ALOT OF THE EMPLOYEES GO ON BREAKS AND GET HIGH BUT NOTHING IS EVER DONE TO THE AZZ KISSERS. US GOOD PEOPLE ARE MOST OF THE TIME TALKED ABOUT OR PICKED ON FROM MANAGEMENT TO THEIR FAVORITES... I HAVE NEVER EVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED SOOOOOOOOO BAD AS I AM AT MEIJERS.. WHEN YOU GO TO MANAGEMENT TO TALK ABOUT A PROBLEM YOU GET LAUGHED AT AND TALKED ABOUT UNLESS YOUR IN THEIR LIL CLICK. WE DO HAVE GOOD EMPLOYEES AT MY STORE... THERE IS A FEW GOOD MANAGERS THERE ... MEIJER IS NOT ALL WHAT ITS CUT OUT TO BE FOR A WORK PLACE. VERY VERY UNFAIR, MIS TREATED IF YOUR NOT A FAVORITE, VERY HARD PLACE TO WORK FOR VERY UNFAIR PLACE. I AM ONLY TALKING ABOUT THE ONE I WORK AT. CLOSE TO TOLEDO STORES. VERY LOW PAID FOR HARD WORK, NO THANKS FOR GOOD JOBS DONE UNLESS YOUR A TEAM LEADER FAVORITE... I LOVE MY CUSTOMERS AND I DO MAKE THEM HAPPY. I FEEL BAD FOR THE WAY SOME ARE INGNORED AND NOT HELPED. I LOVE MY CUSTOMERS AND I LOVE DOING A GOOD JOB AT MY WORK BUT ITS VERY VERY HARD WHEN THERE IS SOOOO MUCH BUTT KISSIN GOIN ON AND BAD MANAGEMENT WHO FAVORITS BIG TIME.... I PRAY THAT I CAN GET OUT OF THIS MEIJER SOON. ITS KILLING ME THE WAY SOME OF US ARE TREATED. THEN OUR UNION REP IS A JOKE..... CANT TRUST HIM............. WELLL HAD TO GET IT OFF MY CHEST. AS I SAID I ONLY AM TALKING ABOUT THE MEIJER WHERE I WORK. OTHER MEIJER I HAVE BEEN IN SEEM SO MUCH MORE FRIENDLIER WITH EACH OTHER AND THEIR CUSTOMERS... GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO WORK WHERE I WORK AT.......... THE SAD THING IS I LOVE MY CUSTOMERS AND WANT TO MAKE OUR STORE THE BEST THERE IS. BUT WHEN NOT EVERYONE FEELS THE SAME SPECIALLY TEAM LEADERS THATS SAD FOR ALL.... A VERY HURT EMPLOYEE

Very disappointed. We ordered a very expensive intex pool on meijer.com as they didnt carry this one in the store. First of all the delivery service was terrible. They were 2 hours late without a phone call(they had my number)When they finally arrived the box was damaged(they also dropped the box) and they informed me all boxes look this way and if we have any problems to contact meijer. Well we started to put the pool up and some of the rails were bent. No big deal, my husband made them work. Then we filled up the pool and about half way up there was a hole. We called meijer and they told us to drain the pool and we will get a new one. We drained it and called again and now they told us they don't have any more pools as they are on backorder. We told them how about compensating us for part of the pool and we will patch it. They said ok, go ahead and fill up the pool. We filled the pool back up,patched the hole, added sand to the filter and salt to the pool. Well intex called(the manufacturer) said they are taking over now and told us they need us to cut our pool up and send them pieces for us to replace it. This is the most ridiculous thing in the world. Not only is it a 6,000 gallon pool and we filled it twice per meijers orders(going to have a very expensive water bill), we also have gotten no where and this was a very expensive pool. I have calls into meijer.com again and we have not heard anything back. I will NEVER buy on meijer.com again and I will inform ALL OF MY FRIENDS and FAMILY to never shop here either. We do majority of shopping at our local meijer and until this matter is resolved we are shopping else where and may even shop elsewhere for good. I will also be contacting our local news station because this is by far the worse customer service I have EVER dealt with. I don't have a lot of complaints but this is one I am very upset about and I will take this complaint as far as I have to.

your silent whistle program is of very poor quality when customers or employees can not report serious concerns about the management or employees when it comes to their ethics, their standards they make their employees adhere to.

I work for meijer store 231 in Southfield, Michigan. I am 18 and just now graduating high school. I seek to further my education but I wish to do so in another state. I have been working for meijer for about three going on four years. I have performed many jobs such as utility worker, cashier, Gm clerk, and electronic sales member. Even though I have worked for meijer ever since I started high school and never asked for any of my school events off. I have never went to any school activities or any clubs. I work from when school lets out to around 10pm or 11pm at night. I just wanted to know why am I getting such a hard time trying to further my education. My managers at store 231 are insistent on keeping me there and refuse to let me register for school. I have been a loyal worker for meijers all these years and I just wanted to know why am I getting such a hard time. I dont even plan to quit meijers I actually just want to transfer to a store in the state that I am moving too.

Why doesn't the Oswego, IL store carry Weight Watcher's yogurt anymore? Jewel has it but I shop at Meijer, which is 7 miles from my home. it is a very good product. Thank you, Rita Murphy

"1.59" if you punch in ANY time after one minute, and 59 seconds you are considered tardy. 2 minutes late is the same as 15 minutes late. You will have 1/2 point against you. Sick? Doctor's note? Don't matter - whole point. You only allowed 12 points for one year. This is a new store, so I will allow for the 'flaws' in the system. You can look up your schedule on Sat, and be set for the week. On Mon it can change, and since it's YOUR fault, whole point if you don't show up. On the website the promise that schedules are posted Sat after 6 pm. Hmmm... maybe you will see it that Sun evening or Mon morning. Cashiers must punch in/out at the registers. While everyone else punch in and out at the nearest clock when they come in for shift. So here it is... You and a coworker both arrive at 6pm for shift (he works elsewhere in store), he can punch at the clock up near employees entrance upon arrival - yet as a cashier you have to haul tail to ANY open register to before your 1.59 is up. Since the place is like a warehouse, it generally takes approximately 2 minutes to walk to the front. Don't let a customer stop you. In order to punch in, you keep your head down and don't speak (way to go for customer service), since the managers CLAIM they will review the tape to make sure you helped a customer in case you are late! One would help a customer just to be excused if that's the case. Which brings me to the most asine rule. Since as a cashier you punch in/out at your register, when you leave to go on your 15 min break - you generally have only 10 minutes, since you spend about 5 minutes walking through the store. And here it is for the "smart" people if you have a 30 minute lunch and you punch in late from that... you don't any points! Punching into work and breaks is considered THEIR time. So go ahead and take a 35 minute lunch, you won't get in trouble for that. The new manager - Rob V does not speak to his employees. At orientation, you thought he would be the jovial person that he CLAIMED to be. He walks right past you with this scowl on his face, and does not bother to even smile! My advice to this store and company: don't forget about your employees. You are so busy making sure the store is presentable and the customers are taken care of... well a happy worker is a well run business. Many people wouldn't mind staying an extra 15/30 minutes after their shift to help out... but couldn't that count for something? What about the people who see the store when its busy but don't request a lunch/break nor make a fuss? They are just glad to help out. And for goodness sake - get rid of those cards that required you to be caught doing something good in order to get a precious signature. Your values are placed in the wrong areas. Where you should be promoting, you are lacking. You are not a family oriented store for your employees. I will honestly say, that Meijer practices are not that much worse than the publicize competitors. Having a Union and this agreed upon hourly pay incentive is all you have that seperate you from the bruteness of how you treat your hourly employees. Lastly, I started here... but can't apply for a job at the corporate level since I need to work at the hourly level for 6 months. Never mind my background, and I have a full time job. Why not consider me based on my education and my background that I am bringing that I gained on my primary job!?

I have shopped The New Albany Meijers for over 20 years. I preferred the store because of the comparatable price matching. As of May 2011 Meijers will no longer price match. I will move my business to Walmart as they price match everything except buy one get one. The price matching saves the consumer time and money in this depressed economy. Jo Nicol

As a Meijer hadicap shopper I find it very frusterating that the Southgate store has many broken carts.Everytime I go to shop there is no carts.I tryed to walk thru part of the store thinking I would sit and rest on the benches by the cash registers to find employees sitting on them taking there breaks leaving your shoppers no place to sit.I tryed once more a week later and again no carts, but this time as I enter the store the cart boys almost ran me down pushing 25 to 30 carts in the building.Yelling "more lady these carts are heavy" I guess I need to shop at a non=union store Wal-Mart where they have the carts for us and there Employees are Much kinder to the shoppers who keep there pay checks coming in.............

I was in your store in Royal Oak and I was returning bottles and they had I think 5 machines and of them 3 were not working the one I was using was stopping about every 10 bottles saying bin is full had to call the lady over to fix it, she was a bit slow with about 4 people behind me waiting for me to finish putting my 5 bottles into the machine and the restroom by the brake area is deplorable. I truly do think you need someone to walk through the store and find the things wrong with it and try to fix it I will still go there and spend my money but please just do the basics to keep a store like yours a enjoyable place to shop not a pain in the ass.

Trying to get my Mperks on the internet is not working. I have been shopping at the Stone Creek store ever since they have opened. They are asking me for a cell phone number and a pin number, to get my Mperks card. I am 84 years old and I don't have a cell phone number to enter. I think this stinks, that I can't get Mperk because I don't own a cell phone. Is this discrimination or what.

My son was getting gum from the gumball machine and was hit by one of the mechanical automatic doors at a Meijer Store in Cincinnati Ohio. He had a huge red mark on his forehead. I was told by a maintenance technician that most of the safety features had been disconnected on the door because "Corporate" did not want to pay for repairs! Stay away from these doors and stores that put so little value in customer and employee safety!

As a college student, I worked at a Meijer store. It was the best incentive EVER to get a degree. One of my biggest frustrations was apathetic co-workers with no motivation to do a job well or efficiently. Twenty years later...I'm currently waiting in line for twenty minutes! Create some incentives for employees to go from hohum to outstanding. No matter how menial the task!

Some of these complaints! Seriously people...Mr. EBT card with your energy drinks! What the heck, big deal you can't buy an energy drink with your EBT card, blame it on the store....EBT cards are meant to provide you with a means to have nourishment for your body. An Energy drink is a luxury not a necessity. If you want luxuries find a way to make some extra money and buy them yourself =) Mrs My kids xmas was ruined cuz of Meijer's return policy. Seriously? It's Meijer fault because someone purchased your kids clothes they didn't need and you couldn't enchange them for toys? So Meijer ruined Christmas. Take some accountability. NO ONE ever wants to be held accountable for anything so they blame everyone else! Ok...anyways =) I've been shopping at Meijer for as long as I can remember. Sure some of the people that work there are not the friendliest. Heck once I listened to a Deli worker literally scream at some poor old lady. I complained in store on in email about that worker, yet I still see her working there :/ Besides a few rude/unfriendly workers I've never had much of an issue at Meijer, no more so then I've had at Walmart or Kroger. For what it's worth I almost feel bad for Meijer employees, they are under paid, and then have to pay union dues out of there barely there salaries. Meijer hires them all part time to avoid paying benefits yet makes them work full time hours the majority of the time. So Mr and Mrs Meijer, treat your employees better, then they will be happy and treat your customers better, and we'll all be happy....well except for Mr EBT card and Mrs you ruined my kids xmas =) p.s. I do not now nor have I ever been employed my Meijer.

I've been a meijers customer for a long time. I have one concern, the diapers you use to have really Amazing diapers in the blue box. Recently you have switched ur diaper. They used to be the best out there. I would recommend them to EVERYONE! Now they suck, I will never but these new ones they ate junk like the rest of them. I thought it was HIGHER STANDARDS LOWER PRICES? YOU LOST MY BUSINESS!
