Karla: I work at a large store and your problem shouldn't be with Meijer. They technically didn't do anything wrong and perhaps you should have read the product description. When you go online, also, you should make sure that the item numbers match up with the product in the store. Different size stores carry more/less than the others. I believe this could happen anywhere. --About the Deli Meat: Call Corporate and complain. Don't complain to the workers. They aren't the ones that make the choices. Skip through the tier and actually do something about your complaints rather than acting like it's the store's problem when they may have no clue what your issues are since you aren't taking action. I love Meijer values and that it's a hometown store. I have never had a problem with them. Of course, all major stores can improve stuff. Budget sadly doesn't always allow for full staff. And really, are there really this many problems, or are customers just becoming more demanding, less understanding, selfish, and looking for problems because they, themselves, aren't happy? Try another Meijer store if you have a problem. Just because one day was bad at one store, doesn't mean they are all the same. It's sad how quick we are to judge.
I have been shopping at the Rossford location since this store has opened. My biggest complaint is at the Deli counter. A number system would be nice so that customers do not have to stand and wait until an employee asks " whose next". Also I stood at the Deli counter for 5 min. until someone asked me what I needed. There was no one around and then an elderly woman came from the back to wait on me. This is not the first time I had bad service at this store. I love shopping at Meijer but will take my business to another location.
I just researched pools for days and finally chose to buy mine from Meijer. However after getting it home and together we discovered it did not have the ground cloth or the cover. I had water ordered so no time to pack it up and take it back without disappointing grand children for the holiday weekend. I quickly got a tarp to be the ground cover and then phoned both the company and meijers corporate in Grand Rapids Michigan. Just a word to the wise, the company told me pools are packaged different for different vendors. Meijers does not have the cover for ground or debris cover. So my research did not pay off. I was also told that the .com is seperate from Meijer so it may have been a different description than the one I bought at the store. I assumed that if it was available at the store I would save shipping. So you know what happens ass uming. I am spending way more money to get the missing items than I would have getting it elsewhere. Buyer Beware!
Hi, I have been a long time shopper at your Meijer Stores. The Traverse City, MI store has had major renavations done and my comment is regarding the Lunch Meat Deli Counter. I don't like the way the lunchmeat counter is set up. In the past all the meat that was on sale was displayed out in the open which made it easier for the customer to look over the quality of the meat and the different choices before ordering. Now all is hidden, and the counter has the whole pieces that are unsliced jammed together behind the glass. I complained to the sales person last time I shopped and she said that this new way to display came from the corporate offices. When I brought this up, the other customers around me agreed and she,the sales person said you are not alone. She said that she hears this each day. Please rethink your policy, and return the deli counter to the more customer friendly design. Thank You.
I was a loyal shopper at the meijers in owosso michigan but the service has gone down hill so bad that I will be changing stores from now on I was in the store last night and only four checkouts were open [I d not use u-scan] the lines in all of these checkouts were out to the main isle by the time I got up to the check out twenty minutes later the ice cram about twenty dollars worth was melting I told the clerk that I was not paying for theses items and I guess they had someone put them back in cooler for the next person this is not the first time I have found myself in this problem so from now on will take my money else where
