TERRIBLE BUSINESS BALTIMORE.

Worst service I've ever RECIEVED in 15 years of traveling. The most unprofessional employee I've ever encountered. Trying to just check my reservation was to difficult for the employee so he decided to hang up on my 5 times. Then got angry and wouldn't answer me when I spoke. Bad experience. I do not recommend

Not up to Stndard

Stayed May 21 at Residence Inn, Bethesda. Room ok until evening when leaking toilet ran for 15 seconds every 20 minutes or so. On top of that the tub-shower water had been turned off, so no bathing. I reported to desk clerk inmorning who replied with a perfunctionary sorry. I'm cured.

Marriott downtown Portland! Maine

We are Marriott rewards members and often check out other marriotts while visiting towns and cities. May 19 we happen to be visiting Portland, Maine for a ball game and came apron the downtown Marriott in that city. Love Portland Maine and plan on doing a few visits there though out the year. Your hotel has a beautiful interior, but as I looked around found that it was dirty and not up to my expectations as your client. The rugs had not been vacuumed, that beautiful open stairwell was dirty , just not properly cleaned and maintained the way a general manager should be taking care of. We will not visit that hotel just for that reason. Appearance is everything. And we only walked thru the lobby and pool area. Not for me!

outragious paraking charges

I went to join my family for lunch at your delray Beach Fl.location A1A /Atlantic Ave I was there for 4 hrs and was handed a $28.00 Parking charge.. they are charging $7.an hr.up to top off $35.00 Are you kidding Me? I WILL NEVER VISIT THAT LOCATION AGAIN.. It doesn't cost that to park at the airport a day or a football game. Or cruise ship terminal.. this s going to totally discourage others from going there for linch..Aagain I will Not be back..Need to get this into line..

You have a lovely advertisement which appears regularly on the Washington Post Games website. An attractive well-dressed middle-aged couple is sitting in a lounge...having cocktails. What is wrong with this picture? The lady is drinking beer directly from the bottle (no glass) and the bottle appears quite large compared to her hand and the gentlemen is having a fancy mixed drink. I am not in advertising...merely a customer; but shouldn't the drinks be reversed? (I am a so-called "hick" from the north woods of Vermont, but I have never seen [and hopefully never will] a well-dressed sophisticated middle-aged lady of any "caliber" drink beer directly from a bottle in a public place.)

HouseKeeping

I have stayed at a lot of Marriott's Never have I seen as today 5/10 13 house keepers on their cell phones on the floors?? also on the 3rd floor it stank like someone was trting to cover an oder this location is Spring Hill Suites NewPort Road , Colorado Springs If I was to rate the hotel from 1to 10 it would be a -15. Being in the military I will ask both Ft Carson/Peterson AFB not to send us here if they cant put us on Post/Base. Rooms STINK of odor moist sheets/ etc. I hope I will never been a Guest here again

The Lodge at Sonoma Renaissance Resort & Spa

Our corporation held its meeting at the resort this past weekend. It was amazing in every way. There was great communication during the planning stages and the entire staff delivered with the Spirit to Serve -- J. W. Marriott's way. Wow!

Disappointment

Very disappointed with our Marriott experience. Just arrived for a wedding and after booking our room several months in advance and requesting early check - in, we were denied early check - in and then told they had no rooms with 2 beds left when that is what we booked months ago! So we are now scrambling as 2 couples were sharing the room with 2 beds and we are only given a room with one bed. They are not willing to try and accommodate, and keep saying we must pay for an additional room. Extremely disappointed and will not be giving Marriott my service anytime in the near future.

Family Reunion at Residence Inn at Aneheim Hills Yorba Linda

A Big thank you to MITCHELL FERN, Manager for making our family reunion a success. We all agreed that we felt welcome and this hotel met all our needs. This guy knows that it is not about housing it is about hospitality.... I interviewed 20 hotels in the area and their were some less expensive but NONE who was willing to put in the hours of calls and emails to answer all my questions and get to know our families needs like Mitchell did. Thank him please for all our family. I highly recommend this location to any family who wants a Disneyland Family Reunion but just far away from the downtown crowded location to relax. It is the best of both worlds.

awesome place yet on our honeymoon and did Did not want housekeeping while there, every time we came back to our room there was someone unannounced in it also we had a two bedroom villa and in the second bedroom that we did not use we found a used condom we complained and are still complaining now this was Sept 2011 still waiting for a resolution… which I doubt we will ever get.

We stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott, 200 Hotel Circle, Charleston, WV on April 15th, 2013 and we can't say enough good things about the hospitality we received there. Everyone treated us with such respect and kindness. When we got home I saw that I had forgotten my favorite pillow and thought I would never see it again but when I called, Greg Bolles said it was no problem that they had the pillow and would ship it to me right away. I received it 2 days later! Thank you to the staff there. The manager of that hotel sure knows how to keep his staff motivated and happy and it showed throughout our whole stay. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Stay Away

Philadelphia Marriott Downtown stay away from this location. We went to this location for Eater Convention andI promised myself never to go there again. You have to pay for internet service, no refrigerator and microwave in any of the rooms. The king size bed looks like a California Queen. The rooms are very small. Just couldn't believe it, That is a disgrace because Motel 6 even have these things available. When I made the reservation I requested for a pull out bedand that never happened either. I was just DISAPPOINTED.

Run Down Marriott Property

This past week we were traveling through Florida by automobile and noticed a coupon in a current tourist travel guide for $74.00 for one night at the Airport Resident Inn by Marriott. This was the start of a disappointing and miserable Marriott Experience. 1) The check-in desk informed us that they did not honor their own coupons, but would charge us $109 for the room with an AAA discount. 2) The shower curtain rod was falling off the wall 3) The inner shower curtain was too short and did not hang inside the tub, therefore the bathroom floor was flooded after a shower was completed 4) A small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and lotion should be on the vanity. Instead, this hotel just provided two conditioners???? 5) The tissue box on the vanity had been reused so many times, the plastic was worn out. The maid had stuffed about four folded tissues in the box 6) All of the employees (check-in person excluded) were unhappy, and rude. Two were even talking out-loud about how they disliked their job. 7) The “Evening Social Hour” featured cold hamburgers and Merlo Wine, which was out of stock. The hotel staff replaced the Merlo wine with a pitcher of warm beer. Nice touch! 8) The check-in person informed us of the fresh, hot cookies available after 7:00. Never happened! When asked about it, she gave us two Mrs. Fields cookies off the shelf. 9) This is the worst part. The carpet in the room was worn out, especially where the carpet met the tile entering the bathroom. The carpet had rotted back past the tack strip and the tack strip nails (sharp points sticking up) were fully exposed and dangerous. This Marriott Property is basically a dump. We were very disappointed and we are also embarrassed for the Marriott Corporation putting its name on this flop house.

Spelling mistakes and incorrect English usage

I'm literally appalled, after reading some of the above reviews, by the grammatical mistakes, spelling errors, and the overall lack of knowledge of English in various commentaries. Please, fellow Americans, learn to spell and use the language properly.

Platinum points---very unhappy

I have been a lifetime Platinum Rewards Member for 25 years and as President of my company, I am booked along with 9 other of my employees at the Marriott Courtyard, Duesseldorf Hafen for 10 nights at $295 per room per night for 10 rooms. We had to pay in full in advance for all rooms as this is during a major show.We have now been told that as a group booking (which we had to have so we could pay the $26,000 in advance) we cannot get outr Marriott points, even though myself and most of the others in our team are Platinum members. We are now considering cancelling this booking so we can find another hotel which WILL honour our points but this is a really terrible policy, programmed to lose customers for Marriott.,...we are so very angry about this stupid policy!!!

Over Charged

Stayed at Springhill in Tampa, Fl booked room online through my job in which my mother in law paid for the room with her credit card. At checkin they ask for credit card for any extra fees, okay I get that. We complete our one night stay in which we used NO extra amenities. I check my credit card a few days later they charged my card $107.00 and my wife has been calling the hotel and the manager pretty much just blows us off, never returns our calls or anything. Very unprofessional employees and I will never book with ANY of Marriotts hotels again!

not happy

I am at the Fairfield Inn and Suites Orlando and not happy at all. My daughter has health problems and we went to swim and in a non smoking area there was two people smoking right at the pool and had been off and on for a while. Very frustrating and today came back from the Aquatica and they didn't even make our bed or do much in our room. Here for 4 night. Do not want to come back . It has upset my husband a lot.

Bate and switch(scam)

I booked my room on line 6 months in advanced, when the date arrived and it was time to check in they told me I didn't have enough reward points. I was 1,000 miles from home they charged me over double the amount that I was quoted, which they acted as though they gave me a discount. To say the least I was totally upset, and in tears. The manager said this was not the first time this had happened. So be careful when booking on line because the quote you get may not be what they charge you. I think they should have given me the room for the quote they had given me. I had a conformation number, but that didn't make a difference.

rates/reception desk check in

The difference between your regular rate & your discounted rate was $ 8, you call that a discount ? That will make me want to come back or refer you to others. #2. When checking in I asked what was the regular rate for my room I was told that it was $199 when in fact it was $169, I was purposely quoted the wrong rate to make me think I received a bigger discount, this person was very slick, she knew what she was doing, was this the way that Marriott trains there people to mislead guests ? I wood rather just pay the $8 and inform AAA & AARP that being there customer or using there services is no longer needed,even I give my customers a 10% discount.

JW Marriott Cancun

It seems that since JW retired service seems to be on the downhill side. We have been going to this hotel for years and this is the first time I have to say the service was extremely poor. The attitude of the staff at the front desk was awful, it was like Rey were doing you a favor to help you. So much for being a platinum (elite) member
