Terrible Experience

I stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott on Poplar Pike in Memphis Tn. There is an active train track going thru the back yard. The grounds were not well kept. The hide a bed was VERY uncomfortable. It took 3 phone calls to get the toilet fixed. They did not clean the room one day. Will never stay at a Residence again!!!!!

Never coming back.

The room was very dirty and management was not helpful in getting the room clean. We also waited 25 minutes to be seated for breakfast while the dining room was half empty. The next day the room was not clean when we returned. We stayed at the Franklin Marriott cool springs hotel.

my stay

My stay was pleasant.. My room was very clean fresh linens on the bed. I only had one problem, I spoke with the executive housekeeper about extra towels, she was very rude and said you people should have brought your own towels . I have given you towels already. I told her she was mistaken. Please see to this matter. Please and thank you.. CBurk

Housekeeping Dept. (heatwave)

My stay at the courtyard by marriott was great all except it was so hot the hallways feels like your in a desert , the elevators is like dry air. I feel bad for the poor house keepers uniform us polyester really? They are the hardest working people in the hotel & have to burn up. That is sad as much as you guys charge store a room you would think the maids would be cool and comfy. I imagine they are over worked and under paid...(If it want for those nice ladies the hotel could run).. I think you guys need to treat the housekeepers with a little more dignity & respect for there well being.. More Ac and less heat..

Fairfield Inn, Utah

My single daughter wanted to take her 3 kids to a hotel with pool and hot tub so she give the kids a mini vacation. We called and asked about the pool and hot tube and were told all were ok. When we got their the hot tub was all dug up and had been that way for a while. The pool was cool. When we talked to the owner of the Fairfileld Inn South in Salt Lake City, he was very rude and told us he wasn't about to do anything. Their policy states "Our goal is to beat your expections." They didn't even come close to meeting our expectations. He even just said "just don't come back again". If this is what Marriott has deteriorated to, then I am very sorry because Marriott used to stand for high quality and service.

WTF@!!

I hate these people. They are inconsiderate asses. l found out they are providing employment to someone who is using all my info, my name birth date, my social. They are even providing health care for this person, and they tell me its not there problem its mines. They can at least say they will look into it.

staying at your hotels

I have had two (2) bad experiences at your hotels, one in Tyler, Tx and one in Richmond, VA. At both, when I ask for a specific room and get there, get the opposite. Was not impressed. I think you need to make sure your employees give you the correct information. My first experience with Marriott was in Dallas, Tx, and I missed a flight that was the fault of the airlines, (mechnical) and they put me up in a beautiful suite and I was impressed and did not mine the missed flight. Then after that, Marriott went down hill for me. I honestly loved Marriott but feel I will get the same treatment as the last 2 times. The one in Richmond, the manager rolled her eyes at me and I felt that was not called for. Very unhappy client.

Upon checking into marriot midtown atlanta....I was not informed that I would be charged 100.00 for a pet fee...neither I was I informed when making reservation.....and the manager snd his clerk was very inconsiderate when i was explaining it....refuesed to try and see my point......I will never ever stay or encourage friends......service sucks

Handicap Prking Fee

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel in Ventura CA. Among a couple of other complaints , they charge a fee of $13 per night for handicap parking. The self parking area is gated. They said they only need to provide handicap parking near the door, and they can charge for handicap self parking? They charged, they did not provide handicap parking near the door. The lot has no handicap parking, and that evening the lot was totally full, and impossible to find a parking spot.

Poor service

I checked in to your Burbank airport facility requesting a king bed and 1 pm checkout. I received neither. After attending the 1st half of a seminar I returned to my room and everything I had left there was gone. I called the front desk and became irate. The individual hung up on me. I went to the desk where everything was returned to me, wasting half of my lunch break. I requested a refund and received a 50% return.

Back in February I tried to book a room at the Residence Inn in Dover DE for an event in late June. The hotel was booked, so the website directed me to the nearest Marriott 31 miles away. The week before my travel I went to Mapquest and discovered this hotel, the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Millville NJ is only 31 miles away if you are a bird. The Delaware Bay is between the two. By car the distance is 147.4 miles. When I called Marriott to complain about this misinformation, they stood by the 31 mile information, saying that all distances on their site as between point A and point B, even if it crosses a body of water. So, consumer, beware!

Guest

My family traveled to Columbia, MD to attend this year's Capital Jazz Fest. We stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Columbia, MD and one employee in particular really went to extra mile to accomoodate us. her name is Jomil Medina, she has an extradinary personality and really does her job well. Jomil thank you for the FANTASTIC service. You were great, because of you, we will definately stay at this property again. Job well done!

Not happy about being overcharege for room. My bill was 200 and then when i checked my account i was charged 250, when i called to ask they said this was normal? I did not charge anything to my room, why do you think you can hold 50 of my dollars for three days that doesnt belong to you? I will never stay at a marriot again unless this is resolved today. and i travel with a softball team so this isnt just one customer you will be losing.

Firing

I was once a Marriott employer but I was fired caused of something I didn't do 31/2 yrs ago they said I did property damage and the bad thing is they didn't even talk to me about it was in Charleston WV Marriott I had to hear from different people.

residence inn

the worst hotel i have stayed in on my trip. The staff does not care the is no hot water, it takes 45 min to get your carout of the garage. I found the holiday inn express much more comfortable

I would like the Marriott Corporate Offices to be aware of the outstanding staff you have at the Towne Place Suites in Layton, Utah. The hotel was suggested by my superior as a good value for the amount of time I will be spending there, he was very accurate about the great value. The staff has been very professional, competent and helpful. they have made this extended travel situation for myself much more pleasing. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you.

i recently stayed at a farfield hotel in orlando, and had my phone stolen out of my room. i always stay at marriott but i will no longer. it was the worst hotel experience of my life.

Wake up get out !!

First night of honeymoon. Check out time noon. Do not disturb card on door. 805 am bang on the door from maid wanting to clean the room. Yet another disturbance from ANOTHER maid at 830am wanting to clean the room. I understand they cannot understand the do not disturb sign because it wasnt written in spanish. I understand that marriot hotel was not smart enough to cross reference check out status of guests for thier cleaning staff. Really nice honeymoon accomodations- NOT!! A lifetime boycott and horrible reference commenced.

Excellent Service by Staff

I wanted to let Marriot know that I received excelent Service from Jill at the Dayton Ohio North Marriott. There was a block of rooms reserved and some confusion on whether my room was reserved. She handled it wonderfrully and I was very impressed. Will her manager be given this review? thank you

WORST SUITE EVER

I have stayed at suites and hotels for many years and have never been threw as many problems as I have had here. First, they put us in a room that had recently been smoked in. When told about the problem they moved us to another room. Problem solved right. Wrong. The first three nights we didn't sleep because of constant banging over our bed. So, they moved us again to another room, only to not have any hot water. We have addressed this with them several times and they just don't seem to care. We would go to another hotel but they are all booked for the time frames we need. We are so upset with this that we will never stay here again. Towne Place Suites by Marriott in Sioux Falls, SD.
