I feel as thou you do not do anything about your complaints, after reading numerous complaints. I had applied for a job, at your Littleton, NH. branch. I recieved a call from a woman named Beverly. Beverly asked what plumbing experiance I had, I replied with extensive. Beverly had then mentioned that she needs to fill a position, with the sales department of stoves and appliances and that she would like me to fill out that application. I then stated that I have no sales experance and I am not interested in a sales commission job. Beverly got very pushey and stated that she will be waiting for that applaction. I asked, what about the applacation that I did fill out. Beverly stated, this is over and she will be awaiting for my application. I think you should check into the practices of Beverly. I am an employee at store 1797. I am very concerned about several issues. Corporate schedules are NOT being followed. Some employees are being required to close 10 to 14 straight days. If you have breasts and a tiny bottom, the store manager and asm's seem to accomodate you no matter what you need. Very incompetent people are being hired for department manager jobs because they are female and exceptionally flirty. They store is being run on a skeleton crew and yet we are expected to give top notch customer service. WE NEED HELP PLEASE! The most qualified people in the store are constantly being overlooked for posted jobs.

I recently went into you store in Rochester Hills, MI and purchased a Patio Door for my home. The whole experience was miserable and the worst case of cusotmer service that I have ever experienced. 3 times I had to go back to the store becuase of the incompentency of the staff in not getting the order right the first time. Then came today the day the door was to be installed. We were scheduled to have it installed between 9- 11:00 A.M. No one showed and no one called. We called the installer who stated that Lowes was to call us becuase the door was the wrong size. We called the store and spoke to a manager who brushed us off and said I know nothing about and will call back later. he calls back and says the man who enetered it in the system entered it incorrectly. Later in that day the man who entered the door order called and said he entered it correctly and this is a special order door. Low and behold what kind of people do you have working there? 1. the installer measured it. 2. The sales person entered it off of the installers measurements. 3. Did the sales person who claims he entered it in correctly the first time who now states its a special order door not realize it was special in the first place? Why is it after 4 trips to the store mutilple phone calls, waiting a month, mutiple people involved in the process that Lowes had no check and balance in their ordering system that no would have caught this nonsense error immediately! Lowes failed terribly and I will do my best to let everyone know just how bad they are! I canceled this order and will never step foot in a Lowes again. Even the manager had no concern for the customer

This company is a joke their managers lie to people just to get sales and then there executive customer care team one in particular Named Tina Wilson state oh that is ok and there is nothing I can do about it . I spent well over $2000 with this company just to get lied to and jerked around.

Past employee that suffered abuse verbal and mental by the manager of the Brevard NC store Brent McCrimmon,I am only one in a long line of people this has happened too it,s very sad that this is condoned by corporate THIS IS JUST A GOOD OLE BOYS CLUB PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!!!

I've been with this company for 3 years and can never get ahold of anyone at the corporate office!!! I became full time in march and turned in my paperwork for my medical insurance 5 days after becoming full time. It took 6 weeks for them to process it, and they're going to charge me for those 6 weeks!!! I called kaiser during that time period and I was not insured so why should be responsible for them taking their sweet time to process my paperwork?!?! If anyone knows the email address for the corporate human resource email address I would greatly appreciate it so I have hard copies of trying to reach someone.

I have been a lowes coustomer for a long time as i have family that work for onr of your stores in tx. it is on 249 in spring tx. he was chosen for jurry duty this last week and put on a trile. he let the hr know and sr managers and his department manager. For the last week his department Manager has been herasing him telling him he has to come back to work or else. this is herasment and aginst the law. jurry duty is a responsability not taken lightly dy me or my family if this is how you treat your employes when the try to do there duty as a citicen i think people need to really concider if the want to spend money there. i know i am. I have also told hom he needs to file a complaint with the court and you . I hope he dose. this is rediculas and should not be happening

Store will not return items without my reciept or with a reciept. I guess cause I have a high volume of returns. But I spend thosands of dollars at lowes and all cash. Someone needs to look at this

lowes is such a great company that it lets managers get away with sleeping and living with head cashiers, the asbury store in erie has been letting this go on. a manager living with a head cashier and no one does anything about it.

I bought 2 indoor plants that were marked 50% off. The plants looked full and healthy so I was kind of curious why they were marked 50% off ($5. each). I bought them anyways. Next day I started noticing gnats in my house and they were mulitplying fast. I thought because of the windy NM weather these flies were coming in my house... But I noticed they were coming from the plants that I bought from Lowes. I put the plants outside in my patio. I wasn't really sure so brought the plants back in because of windy weather. Today, I decided to replant these plants in nice pots. When I pulled the plants out of the original pots, I almost threw up. There were thousands of bugs gnats at the botton of the pot. I was also angered that lowes would try to make some bucks by selling infected plants. Now my other plants are infected and there are bugs everwhere in my house... I need answers from LOwes. I am so pissed. I have lived in this house for almost 20 years and always had indoor plants; never had gnats until I brought these plants from LOwes.

I was in the Hillsboro store today and purchased a Cobra drain cleaning machine,I had it for less than 2 hours and within 5 minutes the snake jumped out of the inside bruising my hand I CALLED THE STORE AFTER LOOKING INSIDE AN NOTICING THAT THE SNAKE WAS ALL COILED UP AND HAD KINKS ON THE INSIE WHICH I HAD NOT EVEN GOTTEN TO.I CALLED THE STORE ONLY TO BE INFORMED THAT I COULD NOT RETURN IT EVEN THOUGH I HAD JUST PURCHASED IT.THE LAST DRAIN CLEANING MACHINE I HAD LASTED 20 YEARS AND THE END BROKE OFF.I THINK THAT WHEN I SPEND THAT MUCH MONEY I SHOULD NOT GET JUNK.I HAVE RE DONE MY HOUSE USING YOUR STORE.IF THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUTOMERS I WILL JUST GO TO HOME DEPOT.THEY WILL STAND BEHIND ALL THEIR PRODUCTS AND I CALLED THEM TO VERIFY THIS,I WILL BE TAKING FURTHER ACTION AS MY MONEY IS NOT MEANT TO THROW AWAY. I love Lowe's. They has good products and there prices are better than that orange store...

Recently I had a problem with a scheduled service for a dishwasher. I contacted Customer Repair Services with no resolution of the problem, in fact they did not call back as promised. I then contacted the store manager, Joe Neubauer, at the Springfield, Il store. He immediately went to work on the problem, returned my call with a response and assured me that the problem would be resolved. Today I went to the store, was met at door by Joe who in turn brought Sylvia Whitehouse to me solve the issue. Within minutes these two employees had solved my problem with helpfulness, understanding and professionalism. In a time when most businesses seem to think that customer service is "passe", they should take an example from these two excellent employees of Lowe's. Thank you Joe and Sylvia.

I have been buying Green Team wood pellets from lowes all winter season. I have been paying $188 a ton. Out of the clear blue some genius at coorperate headquarters decided that all wood pellets in Lowe's RI, Southern Ma and Eastern Ct. stores should sell for $298 a ton. That is an increase of 59%. I called the managers and they said the cooperate headquarters set the prices. After calling customer service she sent me back to the local Lowes. I wanted to talk to the genius that Lowe's hired to raise the prices. I angry at this huge increase for several reasons. One the economy sucks and it's hard to get extra money. 2. The pellet stove is my way of saving money and not giving it to the arabs. 3. I also am being ECO friendly using pellets.Apparently, one genius at Lowe's cooperate thinks he/she can raise a product 59% and nobody will care. I care.I care enough that I will never set foot in a Lowes store again even if I have to go 50 miles out of my way. I am so disappointed in Lowe's. I am typing this out and I know damn right well that nobody at cooperate give a s***. I just wanted some readers to know what kind of store Lowe's has become.

As a consumer of home care products, I would like to make a suggestion. I have found Home Depot is better suited to help the consumer find the products needed for a project. I would like to share some of my thoughts with someone that help boost the sales in most of facilities. Thank you

Goose Creek SC Lowes... What is going on?!?!? You have a childish store manager talking to his girlfriend on his cell phone all day, using the F word every other word, cares NOTHING for the store-just his job...Chris, one of your "ASM"'s is a nasty, unethical, demoralizing jerk... You used to care for your community and care for your employees. The last manager certainly CARED about the people that worked there and CARED about the store as a whole!!!!! I DARE you to hire a new employee as an hourly cashier that is from corporate in disguise. You would be HORRIFIED at the abuse and misuse of employees!!!! Or...maybe you would be proud. I just don't know anymore. This is just nuts...

Recently Lowes downsized in management personnel. Thus, the management personnel who remained were given new work schedules making it even harder for them to have time with their families. The management employees are working 11 hour days and now working till 11:00 p.m. 14 days a month. They are only off 1 weekend a month. Is this supporting strength in family structure? I think not. The corporation is consistently reducing benefits for employees who have remained loyal, worked at Lowes for several years and gives 150%. Yes, there are fewer jobs available because of the recession. Believe me when economics improve, and it will, these dedicated employees will be seeking jobs with better working conditions and Lowes will be left to employ those who have no work ethics. Employees that are "brown nosers" or "knows something on someone", are favored. History repeats itself and one day, before long, Lowes will suffer because of the way they treat their employees!

I order a GE Refrigerator from Lowes in Killingly Ct on December 30,2010 and have be giving the run around avery time I call it's on the truck it's at the warehouse it was sent on one truck and the paper work on another. as of today it is at the store???? I still do not have it in my home, you can take from there. I would not give one star to them. the manger was going to call me when saw it but he is not in the store today.

I was terminated on 1/27/11 they said I broke a company policy which was -back in Nov of 10 I went to my manager of store 1990 in Brevard NC-Brian Sallie(great guy) Told him I HAD to pay a elec bill so I wrote a check for 150.00 and and it was put through 1st time it did not clear the 2nd time it did clear so know the store manager-BRENT McCRIMAN CALLED ME IN AND FIRED ME know this is 3 months after the fact.I opened a investigation a few months ago about working in recieving with a co-worker that was so rude and sexist we got into a altercation and I was wrote up with a final notice, I had never had a write up so they hunted for something to fire me for,The manger of the store is a horrible person to work for everything the boys club is what I call it is brushed under the rug these men are sexist and this store turnovers is unreal I did a great job for lowes as their RTM CLERK I had 100% on my audits and inventory and brought alot of money back o the store,I was the only income in my family I lost my insurance all benifts and this man could not even look at me,The HR person lori kilbey was in on this as well if these people do n,ot like you you are out of there she has her job because her mom is a head person in HR for lowes I have watchedso many good honest people get trashed and put out the door and they want to keep the young kids I was very proud to work for lowes at 1st but Lowes is not a good company to work for and is the most hostile enviroment I have ever ever seen or worked for and could care less about their good an honest employees SHAME ON YOU LOWES!!!!!!

Corporate should check out the store on Austin Hwy in regard to the way they treat the lowest paid personnel. Management has no control. The "head" folks seem to run everything. Talk down to/belittle the employees in front of customers. Call employees and cancel work OR worse, schedule them for work after they have left for the day and then write them up for not coming in. They treat customers almost as bad. There are one or two who will go out of their way to assist; however, my experience is that we get in the way of their personal conversations or texting. We were there one day seeking advice only to be told that he didn't have time for that and he left. I hear that nepotism runs rampant there, as well.
