I purchased a Husqvarna riding mower from Lowe's in June at the Kingsport Tn store. The other day when i went to use it, it sounded like it was flying a part. I called Lowe's and they told me to take it to a local Husqvarna repair shop. I had my sales receipt and gave the shop a copy. When I went to pick it up I was charged $96 for a belt replacement. The mower is less then 4 months old. When I bought the mower I was told it had a 4 year warranty on it. The sales person didn't bother to tell me that there was exclusions to it. I went back to the store and talked to the manager of lawn and garden and was told that they wouldn't cover the part. I feel this a very poor way of doing bussiness. Up until now I have bought all my outdoor equipment at Lowe's but will not in the future.

On July the 12th 2010 I order a wood door through you guy's and I still do not have it September 29th 2010. We are building a new house and a front door is required for some of the thing that are needing to be done as far as siding ... floor being layed and so forth. Have been really patient and now getting a little upset. Thanks for listening

We have shopped Lowes often in NH and in Florida over the years. We recently had a great experience with the store in Concord, NH and with kitchen specialist,Veronica Arabudzki. We were going to replace the doors and drawers on our kitchen cabinets. After shopping many cabinet stores and Home Depot we went to Lowes and met with Veronica. She was extremely knowledgeable, showed us all our options, and and helped us select the right product for our job. After placing the order and paying for it, Veronica stayed in touch with us, advising us of the manufacture and ship dates. When the order arrived at the store we were notified immediately. We we went to install the doors we found that an error had been made on 2 door and 4 drawer fronts. Veronica contacted the Schuller rep immediately and arraigned for the replacements to ship within a week! Without this follow through and customer service our project could have ended in disaster. We are very pleased with our project, with Lowes, and most of all with Kitchen Specialist, Veronica Arabudzki.

Hello I am very Disappointed with a Sales Manager at the Lowes in Shakopee Minnesota his name is Kevin Fritz. I am a paying customer and I spend on an average of $2500 a week at Lowes in Shakopee. I am a contractor on the Reservation here in Shakopee. I walked into the Lowes Home Improvement store in Shakopee and another customer and an employee came to me and told me that as I was walking up to the door Kevin Fritz the Sales Manager for Lowes Home Improvement in Shakopee Minnesota was telling a supervisor and another customer how much he hates me and was telling them that I am a piece of S**t. I am also going to be filing a complaint in the store I would recommend that Lowes does something about this as soon as possible as I will be contacting an attorney also. I have three large purchases to make in the excess of $5000 dollars before the snow falls and if nothing is done about this I will be taking all the business that I do for the Reservation to Menards or Home Depot. I would hate to see Lowes lose the business from the Reservation here!

We are looking to re-do two bathrooms. I have been to Hoe Depot -great customer service. We also have bee to Lowes-Long Island with oposite results. There is never anyone around to help with questions. My husband and I have walked out of the store on several occasions. The second time we had picked out what we saw, but no one was around. This is no way to run a business.

I have had good experiences and bad with every store I shop at over the years... Lowes has been mostly good though... but the reason Im sending this is that Lowes seems to stand for the good things in this country like veterans and family values unlike Home Depot who not only allows its employees to give out Homosexual websites to children but seems to encourage it...Personally I think anyone who does that and/or supplies those matteriels should be charged and convicted of crimes against children...... as for me,,, I will shop at Lowes and love it....

THERE RESPONCE WAS YES . i AM A LICENSED PLUMBER AND IT TOOK MANY YEARS OF TRAINING 2 GET MY LICENSE.sO NOW YOU SELL A PRODUCT 2 HOME OWNERS THAT IF INSTALLED IMPROPERLY IT COULD CAUSE AN EXPLOTION,ARE YOU AWARE OF THIS!!!!!! AND WHO WILL BE RESPONSABLE 4THIS WHEN IT HAPPENS!! EVEN WITH A LICENSE WE TAKE A CERTIFICATION CLASS SO THIS PRODUCT IS INSTALLED AS PER MANUFACTURE SPECS. Bought an LG brand solid surface counter top 6 years ago from the Waterford, CT. store. Two months after they installed it, a 6-7" crack developed in one corner. It took 2 years to get the installer out to look at it. He took pictures and said they could fix it. Four years later and NUMEROUS calls to Lowes and they still haven't come out to fix the counter top. Every time we call, there's a new manager. So now it's been almost six years since we bought the counter top and it still hasn't been repaired. I will never buy from Lowes again.

Actually I would rate Lowes customer service well below a 1 star if it were an option. I puchased a Samsung washer and dryer in Dec. 2009, paid over $3000 cash for the pair and also puchased what I was told was a 4 yr warranty in addition to the warranty provided. My expensive washer quit working after less than 1 yr. I called Lowes for service and have been getting the royal run around. I have misplaced my receipt, but they were able to locate my purchase. However, I was told that I needed the receipt to place a request for service, I friendly asked if they could print me a copy but was told that since it had been more than 6 months they could not print, are we still living 1900, isn't this the time of computers, if they could locate why could they not print. Or better yet just place the sevice request? I have been arguing with the store for 3days now and have gotton no closer to getting my expensive washer fixed. I will never go to their store again and I would tell anyone thinking of buying their product to go elsewhere. This has been the worst service ever. I only hope that their corporate office reads this, if this is standard way of operating they seriously need to relook at how they do business, they are not the only company that sells these products or any other product they sell.

i purchase a ge profile refer 3 years ago on clearance when i called ge out to repair it they told me the model and serial tage was missing which means it had been scrapped out and cancelled all warranties they would not touch it. lowes denied it and there only solution was to sell me another refer at a discount which means another thousand dollars out of my pocket after spending 19 hundred the first time

My husband and I were shopping at Lowes at West Gate on Monday 9/20/2010 (PM) I was looking for a Power washer. There was a young sales person his name was Kareem he asked if we needed help. The young man was so knowledgeable about Power Washers that he up sold us because of his knowledge he was able to tell us the difference in the two Power washers and the different things that both were capable of. What a great kid. You should feel very lucky to have this great employee. ---His work ethics are wonderful. While we were buying the power washer another gentleman came in looking for a Power washer and he started to help him I think he may have purchased one too. Everyone must have been cleaning and doing yard work on Monday. Oh we asked him to help us get it out to the car he went the extra yard and really helped. I really appreciate employees like that and think that they should be rewarded. My husband owns his own business and I am employeed for Medical Mutual of Ohio and appreciate his ethics. Please make sure that he is acknowledged for his excellence in service and salesmanship. Thanks so much we went from purchasing the $79.00 one to buying the $299.00 and was assured by Kareem that we made the right decision. Why in the heck do they review my account when my card has been inactive for 7 years???? What's that all about anyway? I called about it to the fraud hotline & an Anthony (who was extremely rude) told me to write PO Box 981400 El Paso TX 79998-1400 to tell them that I did not want that done.

Ordered a new patio door 5 months ago. After one week of install, door is rusting and fiberglass siding has started peeling off. It has been 5 months of run around at the Lowe's where door was purchased. A rep was scheduled to come to my house twice and never showed up. They ordered 2 replacement doors and were both wrong color, and one even wrong size. Try to talk to store manager and he refers you DOWN to a $8/hr cashier level employee. Everyone blames the manufacturer, but I did not buy a door from the manufacturer, I bought it from Lowe's. I am at wits end and will most likely put a new door in and take this p.o.s. and throw it through the front door of their store. I have already spent a few weekends 'discouraging' people from purchasing doors there. They haven't caught on yet. I bet the store manager wouldn't care about that either. This company sucks and their service is total crap. I have had better customer service and attention to detail from the illegal immigrants I've had work on my house for $20, versus a national company that I just dropped $2K.

I called Lowes for a price on pellet fuel.. they gave me a price of 298.00 a ton.. I called home depot they where running at 219.00 a ton.. i called back lowes and told them.. they told me they meet and beat match the 219.00 a ton and give me 10% off to boot. I told them to write it up i'll be in to pay for in the next day or so. Nicole told me Lowes does not do rightups (bill) but should not be a problem.. so we show up to pay the bill for the pellets and funny corporate changed the price of there pellits the next day.. why because they where going to take a hit. so now there price is 219 a ton,, oh and now they dont have to give you the 10% off cause they are the same price as home depot. Oh and the manager of the store and Nicole the sales girl who said no problem. They dont give a rats ass.. Well i will never step in a Lowes again. I will bad mouth lowes every chance i get. I'm a contractor also so i will spread the word with all of my contrator buddy's. I have cut my lowes card up. NICE CUSPOMER SERVICE Lowes! I will do my best to see your company go under.

on 9-13-10i went to LOWES with a print out of a bidding from mennards for building supplys wanted to see a comparison from lowes. well it took a hour and a half the employies had to walk around an check the codes and then go to the computer itso i said fine wasaround a thousand dollars but they have to special order a eighteen inch door and senco screws so they rechecking the list they discoverd they did not charge enough for the paints and it would be a nother two hundred dollars so they contaced the manager he said the store would go half by that time they was higher than menards so after a hour and half i went to mennards they put five people on pulling my order and was done in half the time . you lose me as a customer

We really liked using Lowes, but during this recession my constructin business had to close. With a balance under 2,000 I contacted Lowes of my problems and asked my account be closed so I can pay off. They said they would work with me. This is how it works, you keep paying finance charges and late fees, your balance increases and you never get it paid off. They contact your family members trying to get it paid. We no longer use them and will slowly pay off account and some point in time. We have stopped paying just to let it go to collections, so we can have a final balance and not keep racking up finance charges.

My husband was also a Marine in the Korean war. We only recently learned of Lowe's discount benefit to veterans and began taking advantage of it, thinking, what a fine thing for Lowe's to do. We are now told that a new policy is in effect whereby only a photo ID will qualify. Only retired persons and VA patients have photo ID's. My husband is not retired, rather discharged, and does not use the VA as his medical facility, thereby saving the government money!! It seems that Lowe's is discriminating and not honoring all veterans who served, some in foxholes during the war and risking their lives for the country, as my husband did, while others served behind desks and even never left this country. Which is more important. I am sure both are, however, I believe it is a very grave injustice to, if you are going to give discounts and honor anyone at all, just honor career people and patients of the VA. SHAME ON YOU! Home Depot honors all! We shop at both stores, however, Home Depot will receive all of our business from now on. I also implore Lowe's to change the policy or do away with it altogether!

Lowe's rates -500,000,000,000 with me now. I paid for a washer on Saturday. It's scheduled to be delivered Wednesday. Next day delivery, hah! Changed my mind after reading horrible reviews of the washer. Returned to Lowes in Oklahoma City for a refund on Tuesday. I was told by a rude, unhelpful employee that I HAD TO WAIT 15 DAYS TO GET MY REFUND!!!!!!!!!!! OR TAKE A LOWE'S GIFT CARD. THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND THE WASHER AND WON'T GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!!! I SUPPOSE THEY WERE GOING TO DELIVER THE OLD DISPLAY MODEL TO ME AND PRETEND IT WAS NEW. NO THANKS. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY AND I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!

He is in the appliances section (stoves, refrigerators, etc.) and he is most helpful and so friendly and knows his products very well.
