I had a dryer delivered to the house from Lowes. During delivery they damaged my door so bad that the frame needs replaced and the door won't close. Lowe's sent their install crew out to look at the door. It has been over 3 months and the door is still not fixed. I have met with managers, left voicemail and talked to numerous people from Lowes and nothing is ever accomplished, just the same old lip service. I will never buy anything from Lowes again and would encourage others to look elsewhere.

Me very, very upset with one of your *&%$#@ cashiers at 1701 South Havana, Aurora, CO. AFter I swiped my credit card at your store. I was asked for my ID! What for! Why does your cashier needs to check my ID for? What for!!!! I ain't NO THIEF!!!!!! Damnit! It's none of her business! Your computer did not show "REJECT". She demanded to looked at the back of my credit card looking for code. That's ILLEGAL! None of her business!!!!! Your cashier is truly CONNED and MANIPLULATED deaf customer. NEVER NEVER NEVER ASK FOR ID. NEVER, NEVER ASK or LOOKING FOR CODE for any reason!!!!! unless your computer on screen shows "reject" or "accept" Never, never take my credit card in her hand!!!!! Your Lowes company is NOT like other stores (Home Depot, Walmart, Kroger, Hobby Lobby, Walgreen, etc.). They never ask. I always see their computer showing "accepted". I charge whatever I please. It's my money to spend!! NOT YOU! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! You don't own my credit card! You gotta fire her. I don't want that kind of business with her! ! NO ASK, NO TELL!!!!!

I'm an employee at Lowes Norfolk va this is a sad excuse for a store and how a business should be run. Your treated like a child and given 0 respect and they demand unrealistic work loads for the worst pay and it does not matter how hard you work there is no way to move up because they already know who they want to put in any particular position Anyway I have Grown to hate Lowes and all of it's senior management staff mainly because none of them seem to know what they are doing and your constantly given conflicting instructions from these people and when fall threw because of their bad management it supposed to our fault

I CALL MY REGIONAL HR MANAGER SHE APPROVED SOMETHING THAT SHE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS THE ONLY THING SHE DO IS PROTECT UPPER MANAGEMENT AND DOESNT LISTEN TO THE OTHER EMPLOYEES . SO I HOPE MR. NIBLOCK READ THIS AND FIX THE PROBLEM.

I purchased a shed that cost me over $3,400.00. After being told the shed would be built on the scheduled day it never happened. After about 3 tries, my shed was built. I paid over $500.00 to have Lowe's paint the shed. The paint job was horrible. I could have done a better job than that. And for $500.00, the paint job should have been done right. I have wasted a full day and a half off work waiting for someone to contact me. Apparently, Lowe's contracts the installation to a thrid party vendor called "Hartland". This company is a plain JOKE!!! They lied to me and pointed the finger back at Lowe's. When you contact Lowe's, they claim it is all a hartland issue. I would NOT buy anymore expensive things from Lowe's anywhere in the USA!!!!!! Anyone is the Lowe's organization can contact me anytime. David Giles

Dear Lowes, I went into Lowes in North Mckinney and not only did i get exceptional service from a greeter at the door but when i was sent to plumbing i got the same if not even better service there. So, i thought i was outta luck and was going to have to hire a plumber for the things that i was doing , until i ran into one of your employees in the plumbing section Will. He did not make me feel like i was outta luck . He made me feel like i had so many other options other than to hire someone to do the job that he made me understand i could do myself. If not for WIll i would have spent TWICE as much money hiring somebody to tell me my problem was much worse. I thank Lowes for the customer service that Lowes provides for the common person.

I bought a 3 family investment. I purchased a ventless space heater for an apartment. It was beautiful. But not of good quality. Gas Man came to check the heater. Stating that they are illegal to have in tenement buildings. This makes me very angry to have spent hundreds of dollars on an illelgal heater. I did explain to he sales man that I needed the heater for a new apartment. More people need to be informed of the misdeeds in sales. Buyer Beware is what was stated to me. So please let this be a warning to anyone buying big ticket items. Lowe's has not stood up by it's integrity to honor a customers complaint & purchase. To satisfy the jilted customer. Leaving that customer with an item that could never be sold with a clear conscience. Then needing to buy the proper more costly vented legal space heater. I am angry that Lowe's does not stand by their customers! So this note is to remind others " BUYER BEWARE!"

We recently purchased carpet and installation from Lowes. Theu sent out the installer who they hired out and the man was at my home from 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. After he left i noticed there was not a vent hole cut out so i immediatly called him back but it went straight to voicemail. I left a message and never heard anything back. I then realize that he left all the scraps laying around, razor blades on my fireplace where my 6 year old could easily grab them, trim with nails sticking straight up in my daughters bathroom, and tack strip in my driveway. My husband and i go to the store and inform them of what happened and while they seem on top of it and indicate that we will be compensated for our trouble i then spend the next 5 days getting the run around. They did send out another installer to correct the problems but we paid for installation so thats not really compensating us for our trouble. Overall I feel like they could have done more to make this situation better.

Lowe's is a horrible place to work, and horrible place to buy from. I had a friend who has worked at a Lowe's store for 6 years, they never deliver on time, NEVER! I'm speaking of Lowe's, Store Number: 0675 5750 MACCORKLE AVE. S.E. CHARLESTON, WV 25304. The managers are horrible, in ^ years they have about replaced every manager 6-7 times. The employees are treated like crap, and often threatened with termination. My friend was fired because a manager was making false allegations about him, and saying he (my friend) was threatening him (the manager). Now that same manager is going after people who were friends with my friend at that store! Its rediculous. The employee i'm speaking of was off 2 days, another person placed an order that was for a customer (and of course screwed it all up) now the manager is trying to get her fired as well. THIS NEEDS TO STOP! I am going to do everything in my power to get this manager fired, he is making everyone miserable, and it shows when you look at the employees faces.

Menards just opened last year and in the past I've always shopped at Lowes. Past year I've purcahsed new carpet (second time), dishwasher, washer,fireplace, grill, tiles to re-do my entire kitche, stove, paint, light fixtures and so on. I'm now in the process of re-doing my downstairs. Two weeks ago I placed a large order for my ceiling with a morning delivery date of today. At 8:47AM I called and confirmed my delivery time and the lady pulled up my order and said yes anywhere from 9-12noon. At 12:08 I called again and spoke with Zach who said he would get back to me in a few minutes. I called back at 12:38 because obviously Zach didn't. Zach than proceeded to lie to me and said he had me down for the afternoon delivery. I said-don't even go there with me, I called and confirmed my morning delivery and the last thing I need is for you to lie to cover up your screw up. I'm now tearing up my Lowes charge card-telling family not to purchase anymore Lowes gift cards for me and I will be shopping at Menards. It's bad enough this Galesburg,IL Lowes had staff that didn't have a clue as to what they are doing-but don't compound your ignorance with blatant lies!

All i can say is,it will be seven months the 14th of november since i purchased a $1,000 garage door and still have not received my door!! The store is in Hazard Ky...

BUYER BEWARE OF THESE PRODUCTS WHIRLLPOOL ELECTRIC WATER HEATERS ROTTEN EGG OR SULFUR SMELL I purchaced a whirllpool 40 gal water heater, installed it in a weekend home damaged from hurricane IKE I was repairing. I also repaired other homes in the same neighborhood on the same water system and replaced all the water heaters with no problems. After dealing with the insurance co. and so forth this weekend home is completed and ready for my customers to enjoy we thought. The second time they went down they called me about a rotten egg smell coming from their hot water and I went over to find a unbearable smell coming from the house, I was still on the deck as they were out their due to the smell. I went to the Lowes store, where I made the purchace, at customer service I was told to call the phone # on the heater with the ser # and mod # and I would be given a replacement auth. # and I could get a replacement. WOW !! thats easy so off I go for the needed #'s, when I called the ph was awnsered American Water Heater, oh well loads of products are manufactored by a subcontractor no big deal. I proceded to tell my story and was asked if I purchaced a service contract ??? FOR WHAT ?? this is a new product and we have a problem !!! They proceded to tell me that I needed a replacement anode rod of a different material and this would correct the problem and they would be more than happy to sell me one for $44.95 plus $8.00 for shiping. I told them that that was not a option and I felt I should not need to purchace a replacement part for a new product to function as it should in a area where its sold. I then started my investigation of this anode rod, what does it do, why is is there and why do some work where others dont. The anode rod prevents the tank from rusting then leaking or failure of the tank. I then called a random plumber and he said when he has this problem he just drains the tank pulls out the rod adds some bleech problem resolved but he also stated he had a # of customers where their heaters had rusted out after 2 to 5 years!! I then went to the Lowes websight water heater reviews to find complaints of leaks and early failure and they recieved no assistance from Lowes, whirllpool or American water heater even with 6 to 9 year warranties. I then called customer service at american water heaters and told my problem, I informed customer service I was told by a local plumber to just remove it and that would fix the problem and SHE AGREED !!! But did say that would void any warranty, how many other customers has she told this without telling about the warranty. I then went to all the Lowes close by to find that no one in any plumbing departments even knew what a anode rod was much less did they stock them, I then called Lowes customer service and asked for a supervisor and explained what was and asked what could we do and explained I was not going to purchase a part for a water heater I bought in good faith with warranty to oerform as it should. At this time the Lowes rep called a American Water Heater rep and we had a confrence call and I again told my story and was told all they could do was sell me a anode rod to correct the problem. At this time I have had it !! and begain to tell them I would not buy anything and I would load their hot water heater on my truck and come park in Lowes parking lot with 40 gallons of stinking water for everyone to smell. I went on to tell them I would talk to everyone I could telling the story and what I know. All of a sudden the reps decidec to send me a anode rod at no charge !!! Now we can't get the rod out !! This is a crock of shit !!! How mant of you have the same problem ??? Long Beach, CA. I purchase a trimmer and used it three times before it stop working. I returned to lowes with no reciept, however I supplied my number and was told when I purchased the trimmer if I provide my number they can print a reciept. When I gave them my number they told me they need the exact date of purchase which I could'nt remember. After arguing and reciving an attitude from management saying thers nothing they can do. I returned home and found my reciept. After returning they provided me with the Service Advantage number. (I Guess they realized I did not steal it) Once you dropp off your item for repair you must leave a deposit. And off course they tell me that a repair is needed that had nothing to do with warranty. I think there Service Advantage is a big scam. I'm surronded by two Lowes with-in 3 miles. I will travel an additional 6 miles to go to home depot. I will never enter a LOWES again.

we were in the process of building our home and puchased all our bathroom vanities, toilets, sink fixtures and shower fixtures along with the necessary parts from our local lowes in newburgh ny. we then purchased carpet form lowes for 4 rooms. well, 3 of the rooms were all the same carpet which was fine but when the installer went to install the carpet in the master bedroom, not only was it torn, but there were pulls in it and he said it looked like it got crushed somehow. The installer was wonderful, but as for lowes customer service... After the installer left, i called lowes asking for a manager. of course none were working that day so they put me on the phone with "the guy in charge of flooring". I explained to them that i needed this carpet installed in order to get our money from the bank since we had a construction loan. while on the phone with him, he was talking to several other people instead of talking to me. very rude!! at first i told him to cancel the order since we needed the carpet asap. he suggested i try to find something in stock and it would be installed within 24 hours. I told him fine, i will come see if i can find something and not to do anything with my purchase until i get there. well, i went to the store to see what they had in stock equal to or better than what i purchased ($4.96 a square)and he informed me he had already reordered my carpet and it was being overnighted and would be installed 3 days later. well 3 days later when i called to confirm the instalation, my carpet wasnt even there at their store!!! i went right to the store, very upset and again there was no store manager except the same person who GUARENTEED my carpet would be overnighted and installed. i waited for 15 minutes for him to come to customer service and when he finally did, he tried to get me to pick a stock rug again. why would i pick a stock rug to put in a brand new home when the one i purchased was of much much better quality? After many minutes of arguing, i demanded my money back. He actually wanted me to still pay fo the padding which was installed!!! I did finally get all my money back, but i will never purchase another item from lowes in newburgh or any other lowes again. I will be going to home depot or another store. so to all customers thinking of purchasing anything that is special order, be very weary because chances are, it wont come when promised or it will be damaged. If lowes wants to keep its customers, they better start training their workers on customer satisfaction!!!!!

Customer Service Lowes Corp To Whom It May Concern: This email is to complain about service I recently received from your company store (Store Number: 0454, 700 Mall Road) located in Barboursville WV related to the purchase of a patio door with installation. On 17 Oct 2010, my wife and I went to the subject store to purchase new blinds for our patio door. During the process we decided that we would instead purchase a new patio door with the promotions that were available. We decided on a French Door approximately $699 with an install cost of $399 and paid the clerk a $35 fee to have a contractor visit our home and measure the opening. On 18 Oct, around 9:30 AM a contractor came and measured the door. Just before the contractor left he made a comment about a break to bend metal around the outside of the door at a cost of $75. I did not think anything about it. About two hours later the sales rep left a message on our answering machine that the door would be a special order and would cost around $1,509 installed. I called the sales person back and asked why and he indicated that the door would be a special order since it was an odd size. I indicated that the door is standard 6’ by 6’8” door. I asked for the measurements for the door we picked out, the model number and sketch with measurements from the contractor. He was unable to furnish any of those but stated that the contractor said the opening was ½” too small. After a lengthy discussion with two sales persons, I told them to refund my money that I would go to Home Depot to purchase a door. The clerks could not give me a straight price with documentation to back it up. I don’t know what kind of scam that was going on but it seemed to be close to a process used by car dealers to bump the price up. I cannot believe that a special order standard door would jump $500 in cost. I am so discussed with the event I attempted to call the store manager who was out until Thursday. I am still considering filing a complaint with the State Attorney General. I expected a much higher level of service from your company, and I am quite disappointed. I will be informing my friends and family about this experience.

Lowes may be O.K. but the credit company is beyond awful. If you want your credit screwed up then get a Lowes credit card . The credit company can not get a statement reconcilation correct. If they make a mistake, and they do, they will not make the effort to review the account to resolve an issue. You either pay what they claim you owe or ruin your credit. DO NOT SHOP LOWES WITH A LOWES CREDIT CARD!

I recently purchased a Giagni Messina tub from Lowes. This tub has big problems. The drain assembly and water supply fittings leak and can cause water damage. I purchased this tub and installed it only to have a rubber compression fitting fail and pour water out into my house. After $20,000 in damage I brought the problem to the attention to my local store in Sand Springs, GA. They agreed that the fitting had failed and asked me to contact Giagni directly. I called multiple times with no response to my problems. The store representatives then told me they would look at discounting the tub for my trouble and I had a professional go ahead and install the tub. He also said the parts were faulty and insisted on using his own. Now Lowes says they cannot do anything for me. Buyer be warned.

Please go to www.dangeroustrailers.org and take note that Lowes supports a company that does not care about public safety. Carry On trailers spent allot of money trying to defeat the "Reflector Tape Law" !! We ask that Why should Lowe's continue to sell unrated safety chains to consumers...let anybody buy a trailer and not have proper training? Your life is at risk...you name one product that can cause havoc on the highway to others that is sold at Lowes.

I recently tried to rent the Lowes truck. I was stonewalled by the "Zone Sales Manager." He said the truck was only available when purchasing merchandise. This was a surprise that was quite irritating (which the manager seemed to like). I told him I had rented the truck before without making a purchase--to which he said I could go to Ryder if I wanted to rent a truck. I told him this was bad customer service--and I could not believe he would turn down a sale. I went in a few minutes after, asking for his card (I don't know why). This was a surprise because I had always been treated fairly at Lowes before, but this guy seemed to like being hard-nosed and returning my irritation with silence.

Today it's five stars and from 2007. Why ?, because Lowes does not allow Illegals to loiter outside their stores; from Los Angeles to Utah. Lowes has my business now as long as they continue this policy. Home Depot is horrible, an Illegal Alien cesspool of problems, squalor, messy isles, loiterers; just a mess ! And Home Depot does nothing about it but looks the other way; they even have day laborer areas. What ?, Illegal ?,,,no job, no employment, your Illegally here.
