I purchased new Countertops and Backsplash from Lowes - West Wichita KS. Lowes had to have the money for all this up front and subcontracted out the work to be done. Long story short Contractors messed up my new laid wood floors and quarteround. Lowes installation sales dept has not been alot of help lately and I feel I have been put on the backburner since everyone has got their money. Why should I have to call once a week to find out the status of getting this fixed. Seems information I give them they lose so they say. This is just words to put me off once again. I would not recommend Lowes for any kitchen projects cause they are not standing up for the customer and need to find better contractors who do care about the customer's home.

Lowes of Somerset, Kentucky has so many issues !!! I purchased a Stainless Steel Refrigerater, Over the Stove Microwave.Which was in stock and ordered a Stainless Steel Stove which had to be ordered. I was scheduled to have my appliances delivered the following morning and waited and waited and Lowes never came. So, I called and they said that my appliances was on the truck hours later I just went in to pick them up myself and GUESS WHAT.....? They was never scheduled to be delivered until my Stainless Steel Stove came in... Which was a few weeks later !!! I demanded to talk to the Manager of Lowes of Somerset, Kentucky and he tried to blame everyone else....I WANT SOMEONE TO BE ACCOUNTABLE !!!!!!! Next day delivery WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL !!!!!!! LOWES OF SOMERSET , KENTUCKY IS HAVING MANY MANY PROBLEMS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a major contractor here in Somerset and am getting FED UP !!! I AM NOT REFFERING MY HOME OWNERS TO LOWES OF SOMERSET EVER AGAIN.... They all have been saying the same thing.. We all deserve better than Lowes of Somerset...Keep it up Lowes of Somerset, Kentucky and you will have no business.......!!!!!!!!!!

READ THE INFO FOR OTHER HARDWARE STORES ON HERE. The truth is, each store is different-- My opinion is that Menards is a store much easier to shop where the employees do a much better job answer to even the most basic questions, and they always find someone able to help with more difficult concerns. However, I have been in Menards stores that do NOT provide the great service I'm accustomed to. Most complaints on this site are horribly mis-aimed, and should be directed to the individual store. Stories one rude employee, credit card concerns, and many other policies are NOT going to be fixed by bitching about them here. Shop around, find a store you like, build a relationship with the employees, and you will find hardware happiness--remember that for every horrible guest comment on here, there are hundreds of perfectly satisfied customers who never posted about it.

On Friday 03/04/11 at approximately 6:30 PM, my wife and I stopped in your store (Lowes Kissimmee FL Osceola Parkway) to look for outdoor carpeting. After ten minutes of searching for an employee we eventually located the associate who worked in the flooring department. The Lowes employee was unsure of the carpet price or if the carpet could be used outside. We were able to roll the carpet and obtain a price. The Lowes employee still was unsure how to figure out the total price per square yard and how to cut the carpet. My wife and I decided to come back in the morning to purchase the carpet. On Saturday 03/05/11 at around 9:30 AM I drove thirty minutes back to the store to purchase several items including the carpet. I located a sales associate; however she advised that she did not know how to use the carpet cutting machine. The sales associate called twice over the intercom to have another sales associate respond to the carpet area. I and two other customers waited patiently for approximately 15 minutes. During that time I watched four employees huddling in a group meeting just three isles down from where we were waiting. When a sales associate greeted me, I informed her of what I needed. She advised that the carpet machine was broken. I then asked her how long has the machine been down. She replied “for a while.” I then looked for a sign on the machine that would tell the customer the machine was out of service. To my surprise, a very tiny sheet of paper was placed to the back of the machine that was not visible to the naked eye. It was written in pencil and placed under a piece of carpet. I left the carpet area very unsatisfied. I decided to speak with a manager about the disorganized situation. I located two managers and explained what had occurred in the past two visits. I received a non sincere I’m sorry response. Because of the unprofessionalism I received in the store I took my business to Home Depot and spent over a thousand dollars and used a 10% Lowes discount card there. These above problems should be addressed so another dissatisfied customer doesn’t take his/her business elsewhere. In these tough economic times I don’t think it is a smart decision to blow off a customer, especially when my wife and I bought a fixer up house that still needs thousands of dollars in updating. The time, tolls and gas I wasted could have been prevented by proper communicating in your store. Sincerely, Eric Battisti

Lowes has decided to sell us an extended service plan, but don't use it, because they will honor nothing. Don't buy an extended service plan from lowes, Get it through your appliance company for better coverage. We are going to have to take Lowes to court in order to fix our problem. We've had a refrigerator that has never worked form day one and we have found that they don't send parts until they feel like it almost two months. Then we called they said we tried to get in touch with you and were unsuccessful. So, you can't have a replacement. Our refrigerator is a FRIGIDAIRE PROFESSIONAL SERIES and has never worked. They've had a guy out here to replace everything and it still isn't working. Totally rebuilt it and refuse to replace the thing. This is going on five times, although they only document two.

I,m writing to let you know how important electric shopping carts are. I shop the Arlington Texas store. You only have two working carts for this store. I have been to other stores in the DFW area. and this is the case in all of the one i went to. Handy capped people need these to shop. We can,t walk this size of a store. If we can,t walk it we can,t buy. Not every one can afford to buy a electric cart for their own to shop these large stores.It seems to me as large a company as you are you could afford to put more carts in your store. What I came for was a upright freezer. I couldn't walk it so no sale. I also will be looking for washer and dryer. well no sale either . I ended up at a privately owned store. they had carts and chairs for their customers . and made the sale. I realy dont think m this company really cares about their customers that cant walk their stores. I have said something about this problem many time and nothing has been done about it . I am letting you know in 2002 we purchased windows for our entire house a total of 12 windows life time guarentee from the company, well the company has went out of business and the lowes in Martinsburg WV say they will not replace three of my windows, they have dirt between the glass and fog no matter how much you wash them they look dirty. Who wants to look out a dirty window? not me I feel lowes should stand behind what they sell and if a company goes out of business then Lowes should honor the guarentee.

I went to Lowes today for a Stove that I bought 2 weeks ago. The stove just stopped working and I told the manager Lynda that the stove is not working could you please exchage it for me. The manager said I will but your going to have to pay more for the new Stove that you are buying. I SAID WHAT THE FUCK.. I bought the stove for 289.99 and she said that I would have to pay 349.99 for the same stove. She said when I bought it the stove was on sale. REALLY SAD TO SAY BUY I OWN 53 RENTAL HOMES AND BOUGHT ALL THE SUPPLYS THERE FIRST TIME HAD THIS PROBLEM NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN LOST ALMOST 50,000 IN SALES OR MORE

I purchased a washer and dryer on 5/12/10 and the pair has never worked properly. I have had 4 service calls to repair them and they still do not work. Lowe's in Pananma City Beach, Fl says I purchased the pair on 3/1/10 I have the receipt which was dated 5/12/10 they will not honor the purchase date. I flip houses and I have spent oover $102,000.00 at Lowe's in 2010 for this house. I WILL NEVER USE LOWE'S AGAIN PLUS I WILL BE SUING FOR FALSE ADVERTISING POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALL THE BS I HAVE WENT THRU IN ORDER TO HAVE THE WASHER AND DYER REPAIRED. GOOD BYE LOWE'S AND HOPEFULLY THE CUSTOMER WILL REALIZED WHAT A RIP OFF LOWE'S REALLY IS.

Lowes uses shady contractors without giving them drug tests and refuses to fix anything that the contractor THEY hired ruins even when taking into consideration the fact that the contractor was using illegal substances on MY property (police did not arrive fast enough to catch them) while destroying it. My product is ruined, my property is ruined, my money has been stolen, and Lowes refuses to do what is right. LOWES IN SAN ANGELO TEXAS SHOULD NEVER BE USED. They are complete thieves.

i am an employee of lowes, and the people i work with are great, but the corporation screws all the employees by working a store with 75% part time employees so they don't have to spend money on benefits. but jimmy races away and the executive get their bonuses.

Well, Lowes refuses to install our vinyl floor now. They refunded the installation charge. They should give me ALL my $$ back, considering the hell they have put me through. This has been the most stressful week ever. Lowes will NEVER again get my business. I will from now on be a Home Depot shopper! You wont install MY vinyl flooring that I PAID FOR because I refuse to pull up the exsisting 3 layers that are down. I AM NOT RISKING MY CHILDREN BEING EXPOSED TO SOMETHING HARMFUL. Just put the damn plywood down VOID my warranty and put down the vinyl...WTF? IT IS MY HOUSE NOT YOURS...WHY SHOULD YOU REFUSE TO DO WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS? I have NEVER hated a company as much as I hate LOWES. And I have had 3 people tell me not to pull up the old vinyl it will work fine...so THANK YOU LOWES FOR SCREWING US!!!!

Lowes is the worst company to work for. I went out for surgery and thought that I was getting myself in better health to be even a better employee and after FMLA ran out I was terminated. Nine and a half years of dedicated service kicked to the curb. I loved Lowes so much that at times, I would walk from Elgin SC to Store 1751. Lowes showed me how much they cared. Lowes told me to reapply if a job came open I could be considered . I did just that and was told that Lowes was looking else where for help. I was a member of Lowes paint team. I have been a painter for more than 49 years. I was hired on at Lowes as a paint pro. Loved my job and the customers that bought their paint at lowes. Life deals some people hard lessons. This was mine. I just wanted someone above Andy Hall,Miss Hoopengardner, and Wille the human resource person to know what has happened. As for as my ten year service gift, please give it to someone who cares.

For many years I have enjoyed a 10% discount at Lowes because of my military service. I have two honorable discharges, based on active duty during WWII and the Korean War. I was recently told at a Lowes store in Kannapolis, NC that a dischatge is no longer accepted for the discount, but the discount is still available for veterans. What is accepted as evidence of honorable service?

We purchased a vinyl floor through Lowe's on Battleground in Greensboro. The floor installer called and scheduled our installtion and then called and faxed Lowes and I called Lowes to get my materials out here the following day. they had NO delivery driver, so the scheduled me for that monday. HA! They NEVER showed up and the store manager says he NEVER spoke to my husband. The booted us off the delivery schedule Monday and now my floor cant be installed on time and if the materials are not here today it cant be installed this week AT ALL. Lowes I want a refund and my floor installed. This is ridiculous that you let your employees call us at 7:30 on a SUNDAY MORNING but yet you cant get our materials delivered on time and you cant give us an honest answer as to why either. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED with how you are doing business. What a shame, because i used to really like this store.

I bought a Arrow metal shed on june 6 2010 after the first snow this year the shed completly collapsed, neither lowes nor the manufacturer will stand behind their product I am on my way to the local small claims court for a ten dollar court fee I will have a judge make the final determination.

NEVER AGAIN will I buy ANYTHING from LOWES!!!!! I have NEVER had a more unpleasant online shopping experience in my life. The lowes in Memphis is HORRIBLE & unprofessional & unorganized & don't know their butts from a hole in the ground I'm guessing. The screwed our order up and admitted it! Even though we're getting a small refund for our trouble,I still warn everyone from dealing with them >8(...All day yesterday & for a few weeks we kept hearing our fridge wasn't there,so we asked for one of equal value that WAS there & all of a sudden our fridge is there. so not it's showing up that we haven't paid for it,then we did,then we're not in the computer,then it's just the fridge that isn't paid for,now all they need is for us to move a block on our bank account.I'm SICK of the run around! The bank verified with us there is no block,and a bock doesn't even exist,so now it's back to waiting for them to redo their paperwork and call us back. I CAN"T WAIT to fill out my customer satisfaction survey!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO BUSINESS WITH THESE IDIOTS!!
