I have had at least 3 bad experiences with your Indian trail location and Matthews location, I am going to voice this one complaint only. My wife and I purchased an expensive grill from the Matthews location and as we waited 15 minutes for help after I had asked for help the young lady came outside and had seemed bothered by the fact ( sighed and rolled her eyes)I wanted the grill in the back of the line and not the very damaged first grill she could get to. Second, After I finally got the grill I needed to take off the side to fit it in my suv and no one in your store ( at least near customer service area, go figure?) could lone me a screwdriver to do so not to mention many employees walking about not offering assistance. I had to buy a screwdriver to remove the parts.

I purchased 75 rubber pavers from your Elmira ,N.Y store. I asked to pick them up on the the following Tuesday 3 days later. No Problem they will be put aside, When the contractor who was doing the job got there they were out of stock. The store said they will send me 75 pavers on the following Saturday no charge. The contractor came back to do the job again. I called the store to get delievery time and they told me they could not get the pavers to me as they did not have them again. I had to pay 150.00 to the contractor when I told the store manager he said he was really sorry but could do nothing more for me. This is the second incident in2 months. My credit card number were stolen at the same store and purchases were made on it. I have spent thousands of dollars at that store and expected more than an applogy. How can you possibly stay in business with that attitude. We have home depot. and many do-it centers. I got the pavers a few cents cheaper at one of them.

Why everytime i apply online for any position open. Also I'm available to work any time anytime for the past few months the HR always emails me sorry this or sorry that is it because of my ethnic background? Or u should hire a new HR @ Statesboro GA, i havent been to school for Human Resources i would atleast hire the name i see most frequently!!! 912 852 2319

Troy Bilt 4 Cycle Gas Trimmer, needs to the motor torn apart after using 10 hours and adjust the valves. Lowes does not carry the needed gaskets in order to perform the task properly. Suggest not buying if you are not mechanically inclined!!

You folks above my review, good for you, I also was lied too, had the nerve of being told that my washer was out of the extended warranty as their excuse, but the original problem was never FIXED WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. I also bought several appliances from lowe's in the past, BUT NEVER WILL I DO IT AGAIN. I AM GOING TO TELL EVERYONE INCLUDING THE STATE OF COLORADO CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY, INVESTIGATOR OF CHANNEL 4 NEWS, 7 NEWS & 9 NEWS, ALONG WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ADVOCATE OFFICES. THESE BOX STORES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE IN THE STATE OR ANY STATE- THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS, EVER, EVER, EVER. Lowe's used every excuse not to replace "THE LEMON THAT WE BOUGHT" NOR DID WHIRLPOOL. WHIRLPOOL IGNORED THE ISSUE ALSO. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF TOWN. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING MADE BY WHIRLPOOL. WILL DO MY HOMEWORK FROM NOW ON. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND. LOWE'S IS SHOULD BE RUN OUT OF TOWN, THEY ARE THE WORST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

purchased a washer dryer set from lowes on june 13th 2011 was told i could have delivery on 17th then it was moved to 24th washer and dryer arrived on 24th but the pedistells for them have still not arrived and now its july 25 i got a call on july 20th telling me they had them and delivery was set up for today but im still waiting I called the store and am still waiting on a call back to let me know whats going on thei is not acceptable customer service

I purchased a riding mower from Lowe's in Bayshore L.I. NY in 09. I also purchased the extended warranty. As you can guess I have been trying to get it repaired or replaced for over a month. After many calls to Lowe's service center and their repair reps. I am now told to send a copy of my original bill by fax to receive a gift card to use at their store. They originally wanted to give me only $1000.00 for an $1599 mower. Now I have to wait to see if they approve all my expenses such as the extended warranty which still has a year on it and the tax of my state and they offered to pay $50.00 to get someone to cut an acre of land which is crazy. I have purchased many big ticket items from them in the past and this is the first time I'm getting the run around. LG washer & Dryer, Samsung 3 door Fridge, out door sprial stair case. You'd think such a good customer would have gotten quicker service. I'm very disappointed in the way they are handling this mower replacement. Not to mention when I purchase another riding mower I have to go to their store load it on my truck and drive 80 miles to my home. (I had to buy Alum ramps just to get it on my truck from the store) I hope Lowe's learns something from this mishandling of my warranty.

I just want to acknowledge the Lowes store in Victoria Texas!!! I went shopping for plants and was uneducated on what type of plants to choose for our climate for my yard; well I was educated by the nursery worker what would work and after three months my yard is looking beautiful. Thankyou Lowes of Victoria!!

I'm a 57 year old navy vet. with 26+ years retail experience the last 15+ years in management positions.I applied for six full time positions at store 2566 located in Lehighton Pa.(Slated to open in August)From department manager,paint associate, hardware associate head cashier and cashier.The response I received from Lowes,Thank you for your application regretfully we decided to pursue other candidates.My last job was Customer Service Manager for Wawa which I held for ten years.With 26 years experience of working with customers and I could not even get a interview.I am an active member of the local American Legion.have been for twenty years.What is Lowes requirement to get an interview and a job. Does Lowes hire MILITARY VETERANS???Does Lowes hire employees OVER AGE 50 ??? IS LOWES REALLY AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.It will be interesting to see who they hire. I recently purchased a side by side refrigerator. I have been having trouble with the ice maker since date of purchase. I have had a service tech come out three times to rectify the problem. I do not feel that Lowes LIVES UP TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was directed to call HQs' and to no avail they were not any help either. I have had the appliance for less than 4 mos. and paid good money for a product in my thought process would be a wise purchase. I will no longer be a consumer at Lowes and make sure everyone knows about their customer service policy .....

I work at lowes store 0468 and I enjoy most parts of my job,but we have a major problem at our store.Management constantly changes the "rules" that associates must follow and if questioned we hear things like "I'm not losing my job"and"I have to cover my own a*&".I also have noticed that favoritism is way out of hand,if 2 employee's commit the same offense the "favorite"gets a friendly verbal warning,while the other gets a write up,this also goes to favorable write ups,the favored employees get praised for doing their job and those of us who work hard every day are just expected to keep on doing it,I have no problem following the rules and doing my job but the rules are not applied evenly and fairly and the favorite associates are pretty much given a free pass and then praised for doing the bare minimum of their duties.We also have a store manager that likes to scream in the faces of the asm's until they are in tears,he constantly threatens their jobs ,which in turn causes them to take out their anger/frustrations on the associates.The workplace is supposed to be free from personal feelings/grudges but ours is not.This issue needs to be addressed in order to maintain a fair work environment,but we can't get anything done on a store level because the HR manager and the store managers all stick together whether they are right or wrong.I have spoken to many other associates that feel the same way as I do but will not speak up for fear of losing their jobs.Many of us have families to take care of and having our jobs jeopardized for taking problems to management is unfair and unjust.I hope corporate will look into this and help us solve this problem but I fear that it will only be ignored and if the store management finds out that I complained I will be terminated for some rule violation that is only enforced when they need a reason to fire someone!

My Husband & I bought a side by side Refrigerator from Lowe's. We had trouble with the refrigerator the first couple months after we bought it.The same problem continue We told Lowes" and the Company that had to come out in fix it. Same problem with Refrigerator over and over. I will go to Sears from now on. I call and ask for replacement. Would never replace it or exchange. Food has spoiled and frozen and thraw out. I told them they should replace my Refrigerator. The man said no. Warranty is out. I said it was out wb I kept having the same issue with it. Today they are still not going to replace it. So from now on Sears is where I will go. Mine is torn up now. Food doing the same thing. Freezing and thraw out. Freezer is great. Refrigerator is terriable. There should be a Law against not replacing the appliance after you already have alot , I mean alot of the same problem. After the man comes out the refrigerators works for a while and then out again.

I do not understand what has happened to Lowes. My husband and I spend alot of money in your stores. The store manager was very nice at your Green Mount Store in Illinois. The tractor lawn mower we bought was flooded from rain, had been wrecked also and when I tried to use it I had to dry the filter to get it started. This was not easy for me due to the fact I have health issues and that is why we bought the mower to make it less painfull for me to mow. We bought a washer dryer set at the Green Mount store no problems other than next day delivery does not work ever. The push mower we bought I had to work on it to get it started. Then the Refrigerator we bought next day delivery is not true this was purchased on Friday it is Tuesday night at 9:13pm. They are 3 hours late and are not going to be here for about another hour or two. I called the manager named Chris told him how this is very upsetting due to the fact I see the freaking commercial ten times a day NEXT DAY DELIVERY no you do not have it. The manager I tell him all the problems we have and we have spent this year alone $4000.00 and this is not right at all. The sales staff did not sell us the Fridge we knew what we wanted. They were talking some personal stuff. The people at the register up front were making fun of another employee. There was an annoucement and the guy did not hear it, the girl at the register said you are supose to be listening because he asked her what was said. The manager said they have a broke down truck and they are working late to get them delivered. He said you can spend five dollars or 20 and it does not change the fact they are doing everything they can. He asked me why I did not tell them the problem with the employees that day. I just got out of the doctors and we got a flat tire in the next parking lot and I wanted to go get my knew tire to replace my other new one and go home. I did not tell him I just had freaking surgery. I know the amount of maoney is not alot to the Lowes company. From all the post I have just read you are having alot of problems with your customer service. I told the manager maybe renting a truck or calling corporate and ask you all to take the commercial off because they can not do it. I would do everything for my customers that came into my stores over my twenty five years of running and working in Restaurants, because I wanted them to leave happy and we were a 2.5 million dollar comapny but I wanted repeat customers and every dime we could make. I know we are not happy and it will be interesting to see if anyone at Corporate evens reads this or answers. If it was up to your employees in the stores they would not.... I purchased stainless steel kitchen appliances that included a stove, microwave and dishwasher from Lowes in West Chester Ohio. I noticed that the microwave door did not have a protective glass after cleaning it and noticing the cleaner was running down the mesh screen. I contacted the Lowes store and talked to the manager. I was given a number to call, which I did and the person on the phone told me they did not make the microwave any more and I would need to contact the store. I again went to the store to talk with the manager and she took down the information about the microwave and said she would get back to me, which she did not. Needless to say based on my experience I will never purchase anything else from Lowes after being treated in such a manner. Managers should be more proactive in dealing with customers that make any type of purchases if they want them for future customers. Based on my experience I will never purchase anything from Lowes again. Very disgusted with the service and the manager in particular.

I recently bought a Refrigerator at Loews in South Lake, Tx, I am now waiting for a 4th replacement to be sent out, it appears that someone in the warehouse is damaging the refrigerators when loading, all refrigerators have had major dents on the outside. I feel nothing has been done to remedy this problem, Loews just keeps sending out damaged product. Also last thursday I received a call from my sales person telling me I would be getting a delivery on Friday, stayed home all day waiting, no call , no delivery. My time is worth something, Manager has not offered anything to make this better. I am very disappointed in Loews, I always have given you my business instead of Home Depot

I just recently purchased a 12x12 pop up canopy from the farmingdale ny store for a bbq I was having. When I got home the canopy had 2 broken/missing legs, a cracked foot, a rip in it and a torn travel bag. When I returned the product and spoke to ,Mohammed, the Mgr he stated their was nothing he could do ... I asked how about a discount , so he said he could only give 10% in the past I know home depot for such an inconvenience would give 30% so he said the best he could do was 10% and said if you want a better discount on damaged product go to home depot .. I spend enough time and $$$ at lowes and am very disappointed that I am thinking about going back to home depot....

re the new very short length cashier/purchase counters at the Lowe's store on Rainier Ave So., Seattle: The typical sort of thing done by managers who don't work at the actual place where people work. The counters make it very difficult for the cashiers and the customers both. One can only place one item on the counter at a time; and now there is nowhere to move each item that's been scanned by the cashier before it's bagged. I sent a note to their corp. headquarters suggesting they place large easy to read signs at the outside entry and just inside the entry too: "Due to our new very short cashier counters, please restrict your purchases to one large item only, or five small items." My email was forwarded to the store and a manager there phoned me, wanting to know my 'concerns.' He doesn't need to talk with me when the cashiers are right there in the store; they'll tell him the same thing I wrote about. The new cashier counters are useless for customers and cashiers both. Shrink the counters even more and management can furlough all the staff. Maybe that's their plan...

I purchased a tractor mower, purchased the extended warranty on 5/25/2010 used it last summer and worked very good. Now I started to use it for this summer and nothing but defective issues. It has been to the repair shop 3 times and now this will be the 4th time tomorrow when they pick it up again. I have not been able to use it for my lawn this summer so far. I have not gotten any positive results with Lowes warranty nor service solutions and I believe this is a defective motor and Lowes does not want to acknowledge this and jusrt giving me the round around. I already filed a compalint with the BBB on this: I have purchased a Tractor Mower last May 2010 brand-new at Lowes in Griffin, GA and worked great last summer for 2 months. Now since this May when I started to use it again I have been having problems and not working correctly at all. I purchased extended warranty they have come out to my home 3 times and returned fixed, however not fixed and they have to pick up my tractor mower again for 4th time tomorrow to try to fix it again. I spoke since May to Jon at warranty & he explained the Lemon policy and noted on account for second time on repairs pick up and that after 3rd time I can file for a replacement. I also spoke to supervisor Laura which was rude as cust. service. in May on this issue. I spoke to kattie, Perry, Patrick, Kaylie, Daniel and Chris. Now after they delivered for the third time my Mower it still does not work so I called again for service repairs and spoke to Didi, she put in for the 4th time and also put in for service solutions. Now I get a call from Zulaika 6/29/2011 at 10:15 to informed me that she does not see in the system the 4th time for service request and cannot do anything at this time under Lemon Law for replacement. Lowes has failed to acknowledge on a defective product which should be replaced and Zulaika from service solutions does not want to even try to do some research on this and her attitude as an agent or representing the company is very poor. I have a defective product and Lowes does not seem to care about it at all and I have followed all there instructions so far and no results.

I have a Frigidaire front load washer that I purchasesd at Lowes. I have been trying to get it repaired thru my extended warrantee (Lowes Service Advantage) for almost 3 weeks now. After being told a week ago that the parts were ordered and would take 7-10 days for delivery, I called today to find out about delivery and was told that not only were there no parts on order but there was also no service authorization in place. So far I have spoken to 8 people with Service Advantage, several people at the company that provides their service and 2 people at Lowes Corporate. After all of this I know nothing more than I did when I started. I guess my next calls will need to be to Consumer Protection and the Better Business Bureau. Needless to say, the extended service warantee isn't worth the paper it's written on and I will never purchase a major appliance from Lowes again. As Mr Beaty said..I'm off to Home Depot..after buying lawn tractors from them I know that they at least honor their service contracts. Lynne Kelly

Recently purchased a char broil grill at the Morehead city store . Had to go back to the store three times for a left out warming rack, English instructions etc. Finally got the grill home and it didn't work. Something to do with the igniter. Have called the store many times without a return of phone call. What an experience I have had I will never buy anything at Lowes again!
