I went to lowes to re turn somthing. When I was told i could not have a cash refund, when i ask why i was told because i used my visa credit card. well that bothered me because i used my debit card but found out even though i put in my debit number it was used like a credit card, but only on lowes receipt, because it was taken out instantly(that same day). and i Feel my refund should have been done in that same manner, But instead of that i was told i was acting like a child because question lowes policy. Now i know this does'nt do anything for me because Corp.Lowes may feel the same way. As long as i keep on spending my money it does'nt matter about who i am becasue in there opinion i am just a child some one once said we are our employees. And if i had another place in the area to but i whould. Store #1521 gets a low mark in how a customer is treated.

Store # 1521 sucks on customer service and respect

I went into the Bend, Oregon store which is right down the road from our home to have someone assist me with our Troy Bilt trimmer my husband bought. The two people I needed to talk to were busy so the store manger who happened to be walking by and he started to help me. He ended up figuring out the problem I was having with the trimmer and he gave me the pack of line he opened to make sure it was working PLUS he gave me a discount on the edger attachment that I wanted to buy also. Both the manger, David along with my cashier, Cameron gave me the best customer service that I have ever had. I usually go to another store, but I will continue to shop st Lowes based on this visit. I feel that both these people at this store deserve high recognition from Corporate. Thank you for an excellent experience

Inside the store it is so hot. I sweated constantly. Made for a poor shopping experience.

This is not a rating but instead a complaint from a long time customer. My Wife and i started a major improvement of our home about four years ago. Your store in Lincolnton was our choice for new windows, doors, deck, materials to replace our cedar side home with hardi board and gallons of paint. The total topped well over 25 thousand dollars. A bay window and a new french door leading to our deck. The french door was not a mere wood and glass piece, everything we purchased was of the top of the line. Last week a good sum of money was spent to have our yard professionally landscaped. A good way to highlight this would be outdoor solar lights. Again, to Lowe's i went, purchased two boxes of lights, a total of eight lights, and brought them home. When i began to assemble the lights one did not light up. Took this box of lights back and exchanged it. I started Sunday evening around 6:45 pm to assemble the lights. Family is coming in from Florida, it would be nice to have the lights in place and working. Not to be. This time one peace was missing. Another trip necessary. Can you not get American products, made in the USA? My name is William Barger and live in Crouse, N.C. The transaction number on my receipt is 26647011 and dated 6-25-12. These were allen + roth lamps #0329365. Discouraging experience. Home Depo has been sending info to me to get my businesz back. Please see into made in USA!

my wife has given 7 years to lowes in 3 stores ,we have the best crappy insurance they offer thru allstate which only pays 1000.00 a year for all medical cost! what a joke . she now has breast cancer and the insurance ran out before the initial doctor visit .with all the hospital ,chemo ,radiation ,we will owe several hundred thousand dollars . NOW WHAT? could lowes care enough to offer better benefits? employees work their butts off for near nothing . anyone with ideas? im sure open

Seem to have been punished by Lowes, for actually doing bussiness at Lowes. I am the new maintenance manager at a camp and conference center that has had an comercial account at lowes and their competitor for ten or more years. It seems the previouse management did more business with the competitor, personally I liked Lowes better. We recently made a couple of good sized purchases at Lowes for a couple projects we were doing to get ready for the busy season that came out to be less than half of our credit limit. While shopping for those purchases, we were introduced to the comercial accounts manager and a couple of department heads, all of which, explained to us the wonderfull things that Lowes could do for our business, we were there for a couple hours or more. A couple weeks later we get a notice that our credit limit has been reduced to what we had spent because we had not charged that much on it before (my mistake, I had assumed they wanted our business). When I called to get an explanation, I was basically told that that was just the way they did business. In short, our business is back at the competitor unless we need a $5 item in the future and happen to be in the area.

This is a thank you for your store manager Ron and the young lady at our Lowes in Lake Havasu City, Az for their great help in getting a problem with our account with GE/Capital Retail Bank which after many days of calls and the final straw was when you are bounced around like a ball and if you send copies of your statements in paying your bill early or on time being informed that it went to the wrong department and when that happens they do not transfer to the right department it is shredded and so you are back on the phone and it is poor customer service. In dealing with GE/Capital Credit we will never deal with them again. We have been a loyal customer of Lowes for many years from California to now Arizona and when we traveled in other states to. And via what we heard we are not the only ones that are going through crap with your credit card company. The only reason we will continue to do business with Lowes is people like your manager Ron and his crew. Judy Luce

DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY ON ANY PRODUCT!!!! I have tried to get my 2 year old John Deere Lawnmower fixed. They sent me to a dealer over 60 miles away from St Louis, and then he tells me that it was the battery so that I had to pay for it. Now it breaks down again with the same problem, and they want me to go back to the same crook who did not fix it before. What a crock!!! I gather I should have paid the extra $125 and purchased it from a reliable John Deere store. Home Depot will now get all my business.

Lowes is horrible when it comes to how they handle their customers. I bought a shed and the lumber to go with it. Cost me 2000.00. The cashier forgot to put delivery on it. The callled a worker over and he said he would fix it. Well he charge my account twice just to put the order together with the delivery. I called corporate the manager called me and told me he was sorry and my money would be back in my account. That's it. So after totally boycotting lowes. On of their delivery trucks tore my yard up, putting a huge hole in my yard. Lowes then came out and half fixed it. Now I have to come out my pocket to fix it right. I hate the lowes in Slidell La. I must have the curse of lowes. I will go to HomeDepot until death.

Dean If you are a veteran BEWARE of Lowes! I have been shopping at Lowes for years. I am a three time vet of Viet Nam, All the Lowes stores have always given me the 10% discount until I went to the Lake Elsinore Store. The Manager's name is Dee Dee and she is very nasty to customers. I went in Saturday and spent $350.00 and fond a supervisor to approve the discount. I went in again on Sunday and there was Dee Dee.. she told me "I told you before I will not give you a discount without a military card. I said discharged vets don't get cards just a DD214. She said no discount here, I said I will go to Home Depot then. She said fine, have a nice day. Dee Dee has a real problem. Their # is 951 253-6000. I guess I will go to Home Depot, They told me all their stores give vet discounts EVERYDAY.

We had several purchases from Lowes. Buildinjg a new home. Not only did lowes deliver 4 by 8 drywall, lumber and broke several with their forktruck. They ran over our flag pole. 20 foot flag pole and knocked it into the ground. Cracked the concrete. That was four weeks ago. They keep saying they will repair it. The fourth of July is coming up and as stated they told me DO NOT have it repaired, replaced, etc. They will do it. So we have not replaced it. I am a United States Vet from the United States Army. I have never had no flag flown at my residence until now. They keep putting it off. They have promised it will be up by the fourth. Again we had a delivery of 5 by 12 stretch boards and 4 by 12 dry wall for the home. You guessed it our contractor stated they have destroyed several they delivered. The Lowes I am talking about is in Joplin, Missouri. Never again will I have this lowes do anything for us. I paid for my deliveries and expect them to be in top shape. Just how I purchased the product!!!

I have been so glad that Lowes opened a store in Weaverville, NC. The employees are terrific! It has been a pleasure working with people like Emo-Millwork. I also got the names of four other great associates: Kelly C.-Inside Lawn/Garden, Sherry B.-Head Cashier, Cheryl-Phone Operator, Deborah L.-Cashier and Tina-Outside Lawn/Garden. This is a great place to shop. Congratulations to the Manager!

i am an installer for lowes and i have to say kim from brooklyn store 1674 at 118 2nd ave is the worst person lowes can ever hire, she treated me very nasty on the phone,no manners at all, someone should tell her that beacuse of me jobs are getting done i have 5 stars on installations, please train her a little better

I love to shop at Lowes, but unless Lowes finds another company for their extended warrenty repairs, I will never shop Lowes again. In Feb., 2009 I bought the whirpool Cabrio auto washer with 6th sense Technology along with the extended warrenty. Three weeks ago, it quit spinning. I called Lowes extented warrenty number and they set up an appointment for one week later. Day before repairman was due to arrive, automated telephone call from "A&E Factory Service said repairman would be at my house between 8am-5pm. At 4:30pm I telephoned Lowes ex warrenty office. They gave me number for A & E. I got A&E on phone, but it was a foreigner and I could not understand woman. I asked her to speak more slowly and distinctly. I understood her to say repairman had come to my house and I was not home. That is a blanant lie. My husband was in living room next to front door and I was in kitchen near back door ALL DAY. I have an alarm at end of my drive so I know when someone comes in my drive which is four tenths mile long. The alarm did not sound. I have two guard dogs who alerted me of the postman and no one else that day. Long story short, I had to wait another week. Today was day of appointment. My phone rang at 7:40am again another automated call saying repairman was on his way and be there momentarily. Now it is almost 4pm and I still have not seen a repairman. I called Lowes at noon time, but they did not want to talk to me and said for me to call A&E. I told lady at Lowes, I did not want to talk to A&E because they were rude and I could not understand their speech. She put me on hold and came back to say A&E could not reach their technician and did not know where it was, but would call me back. They still have not called back. I NEED TO DO MY LAUNDRY. THREE WEEKS WAITING FOR A REPAIRMAN IS TOO LONG. LOWES, GET YOURSELF ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO REPAIRS. Every appliance and light fixture in my house and all garden tools came from Lowes. I learned my lesson. Buy somewhere else because Lowes does not stand behind their product. Oh yes, I'm in Tennessee and that A&E place is in Texas. Why can Lowes get a local person to do repairs???????????

I've never been much of a Home Depot fan and have always done business with Lowe's, but I have to tell you - in light of the experiences I have had with this company, both in store on and line in recent months, I am really changing my direction to my local hardward store - It is ridiculous how unorganized and incompetent the help is in this place - It is almost as bad as Walmart - not quite there, but are a close second - bought some scaffolding - Lowes did not offer free delivery, only store pick up or an exhorbitant delivery fee of $79 - I live less than 3 miles from their front door and the jackasses want to charge me $79 to bring me a box. I do not have a truck in which to haul items, so they think have people like myself at a disadvantage; however, they are only hurting themselves. Instead of bending over and grabbing my ankles and paying the delivery fee, I opted to order my item from Home Depot - the price was $10 less, and , FREE SHIPPING - that's right - Home Depot actually wanted my business - When I called the Lowes store to cancel my order, instead of the girl calling her manager over to see if they could save the sale, she said - and I quote - "they will deliver one box " - "well, I will process the return and mail the receipt to your home address." Now, those of us who have a business know - or I should say, a successful business - we know that the customer is always right even when they are wrong. The thing for her to have done, was to have asked me to hold for just a moment and went to discuss the situation with her manager to see if there was anything they could do to keep my sale. So, it said to me that Lowe's is so well off they don't need my money - so I'll stop giving it to them - how about those apples -

Its sad. I am a veteran and Lowes says it is vet friendly when it comes to staffing. Well i find it BS. I've applied for six different Jobs within a week and everytime IM told i am not what they are looking for. My problem is if you say you are veteran friendlythen be it don't just throw it out there to make your corporation sound descent. I know i am more than qualified to work there but to say i can't even hold a cashier position really. I am disgusted by you guys and to think i liked Lowes over home depot.

Went to Lowes this morning to purchase a Dewalt drill with two batteries that they have been advertising on tv for days. It was marked down from $119 to $99 for father's day. Found the empty shelf with the 'SPECIAL' sign on it, confirming the price mark down. So, I went to the customer service desk to ask for a raincheck. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, another clerk finally came to help with the backup of customers. They couldn't find the add in their sale paper, and I explained that it was on tv and that the sign was on the shelf. I then asked for a raincheck and was told that Lowes did not give rainchecks. Of course their advertisement is still running!!! I was not offered any kind of replacement at a discount, nor did they offer to check with another store. I put back everything in my cart and left the store. Back to Home Depot for me!! I'll buy it there, even if it is not on sale. Poor customer service is INEXCUSABLE.

I live in a township just north of Pittsburgh, PA. The Lowes that aren't by my house are great! The newer one right around the corner never has anyone to help me? If I come in the morning there are no employees there and the cash registers are close and I'm stuck on the do it yourself one. When I do get help the people are nice.
