Please help My name is Peter A. Bulley and Last May 2011 I purchased a Troy bilt power walk behind self propelled 21 inch mower that I'm having problem keeping it started. It starts but never kicks into the faster speed needed to mow.I spoke to someone from corporate and he had a women call me back later last week. They had a hard time find out my purchase date because I paid cash and misplaced the receipt. She told me that she was going to call LOWES in Clarkstown, New York. I've since got a LOWES Credit Card and have purchase various things including a snow blower. I called LOWES today to see if I can bring back my mower so they can determine whats wrong with it and the women (Regina) said that they didn't receive anything from corporate and that I'd have to pay since it wasn't under warranty. that's not what what to to me by the women from corporate> Sorry, but I didn't understand her name I had to pull car over on side of busy highway when she called me and also she had a heavy southern accent, but I did make out that she was going to call the store I bought it at. I know I'm rambling but I don't know what to do now. Can you help ? my number is 914-557-8558. Thanks P.Bulley

Extremely Poor ..... From the agents to the Manager. EXTRA POOR. Then they have 16 different phone numbers starting with 704-758-3504, 4364,3682,2304,2173,2340,2917, 704-881-4272 (where someone will be on call for evening and weekends(FAT CHANCE) 704-252-3031 acell number of Chris Ahern who neer returned a call. More numbers 704-928-7958 plus 1 800 444 1408....What you get is RECORDINGS and no return call. Not sure what's worse the store employees or the "corporate communication team (as they refer to themselves) I am in the process of sending a letter to the president namely: ROBERT NIBLOCK He should go check his stores instead of having meetings. I would give them a BIG FAT ZERO if there was one. A #1 is too good for them.

I've shopped at Lowes for years. As of lately , the performance of the employees and the quality of the products seem to be on a downward spiral. The complaint I have is this ... Today I went to exchange a Greenlee multimeter ( i am an underground electrician} and the return desk employees would not do JACK SQUAT because i didn't have a reciept. Most people don't keep them. I wasn't asking for money back, just an exchange. I gave them the meter and told them to throw it in THEIR trash because it was junk !!! If lowes will not back their products, they are no better than any of their competition. NO MORE LOWES FOR ME !!!!! The lowes I speak of is in Kanawha City , West Virginia.

Went to purchase fence panals for our back yard. Before paying I asked if they were sure they had the product the employee said yes we have 47, I then paid $1198.00 then proceded to the area where I would find the panals I neededd and the cashier was wrong you ony had 10 .They called another store they had what I wanted .Cashier said she would refund my money on my bank card then informed me I would have to waite till Tuesday for my account would show it. Why cant you pay at one store an pick up at the store that has your product. I am so upset I will never buy another thing from LOWES!!!! Thanks for ruining my holiday facebook twitter BBB, Will be making a big fuss over this it is wrong like stealing. Robert L Hines

It won't let me choose ZERO starts...so here goes....Our beloved dog, Iggy, got really sick a couple of weeks ago. She collapsed and because it was after hours, we had to take her to the UF Vet School Emergency Room. She had to spend the night and have a myriad tests done, including a spinal tap. It was horrific. She was diagnosed with heart disease and Wobbler's Disease. Because of that, we had to put her on steroids for the inflammation. In case you don't know, steroids cause your dog to pee...A LOT.. This is a 65lb dog, completely house trained, but because of the steroids, she couldn't and didn't hold it. Needless to say, on Mothers Day this year we were pulling the remaining carpet out of our house and trying to come up with a way to inexpensively have hard floors but keep them relatively attractive. After several trips to Home Depot, and lots of help we got to work. About half way through we decided to replace the bedroom door and the strips that separate each room (for the floors). We have no idea how to do this and being in a rush for time, drove to Lowe's because it was closer...(okay, like less than 5 minutes closer. From the moment I walked in I knew I had done the wrong thing. No one greeted me. I went straight back to where the floor dividers were and tried to get help. The guy there told me he was busy and just pointed to where they were. I stood there for about 20 minutes trying to figure out what I needed. Could I use glue? I don't have a drill...Do they cut it for me? Do I have to have a saw? If I have to have a drill, do I need a special screw and if so why do the screws here by the flooring have flat heads on them?? I contemplated all of this..no one returned. I waited some more. When he did come back he was clearly surprised to see that I was still there. Surprised and annoyed. He said, "We don't cut them for you"..."yes you have to use screws" and "I don't know why the heads on these are flat"...he turned and left. I still had no idea what to buy. I called my friend in tears. I felt so stupid and "girly" and very insecure...I knew I needed a paint roller and could find that on my own...so I did, and I went back to the floor dividers and just made the best decision I could. I bought 2 strips and some liquid nail. Still not sure how that's gonna work out. Then I went to the door section. At this point I'm frazzled and almost afraid to ask anyone anything, but I did. Again, no help. The guy was on the phone, looked at me like I was annoying him. I wanted to know the standard height for a bedroom door. He said something about permits and different years houses were built and then asked me if I knew anything about what I was trying to do. I explained that we had measured the door but it seemed to come out to 79" so he said they probably made it a custom door...THEN says..."Okay honey, ya know the little "honeycomb thingy's" at the top of the door? OMG.. seriously? Honeycomb thingy's? No. I don't know them. I still dont. Beyond frustrated and an hour or more later I gave up and went to check out. Because I'd had such horrible customer service, I chose to go through the "self checkout line"...one of the machines was down and I was waiting for the customer ahead of me to finish. I glanced over because I thought I had missed one that was operating and the cashier saw me and said "Excuse me....could you just wait a minute?" I swear Im' not making this up. She seriously bit my head off. I just turned around and started crying because everyone had been so mean. I went to a regular cashier, paid and left. THEN...I called my DAD. I told him what happened and made him promise NEVER to shop at Lowe's again and to tell his friends and sons to do the same. After I got home, I waited and worked and then...ran out of paint. Thankfully I had purchased it at Home Depot. I went back to Home Depot and was greeted very warmly by the greeter. He gave me a cart and asked if I needed help. WOW! I walked straight to the paint counter, spoke with Sam who actively listened to me, asked a few questions, didn't patronize me, and got to work on my 4 gallons of red paint. Then I went to the door section where I met a woman named Lynn. Lynn smiled the most welcoming smile and shook my hand! I told her how wonderful it was to meet such a kind person in a place where I feel intimidated and told her of my Lowe's experience. She came around the corner and hugged me! She felt like family. She walked me right to the doors, asked some questions then had the door loaded up for me and walked me to hardware and helped me choose the right pieces to go with it. It was blissfully easy. She then took my door up to the counter and went to get the store manager Mike. Mike shook my hand and apologized for what I'd been through at Lowe's. He said if I ever needed help that I could contact him directly. I praised his staff to let him know how well they had taken care of me. He even walked my door out to my SUV and had someone tie it up. I love you Home Depot and I'll never cheat again. By the way, I'm gonna copy and paste this and send it to Lowe's so they know how bad this was, and so they see how much business they lost. Word of mouth is the BEST form of advertising...and Home Depot just bought some of the best advertising you could ever get. Not only is this a small town, but I'm a local business owner and talk to EVERYONE. Lots of love to you Home Depot! Katherine

Site won't let me order online without a phone number. I am DEAF - NO PHONE. Site refuses to take my order. Says I have to CALL for help. CALL?? HOW???

I have been and will continue to be a Lowes customer, However Lowes #2294 in Menifee CA which is my local store should invest in courses in Public Relations and Customer Service for some of the Management Team... I received great Customer Service from a Dept Mgr by the name of Diane in Installation, but not so much from the Store Assistant Mgr named Judy. Without good Management it eventually will trickle on down to the Customer Care that the Employees Pass on to the Customers.

I am a fire fighter in training my boyfriend works at lowes and hurt his wrist just before he went into work. He wrapped it up in a tenser bandage, when he went into work he usually does easy lifting so I told him he can't put any waight on it so it can heal. He works at the knew lowes on iron needles on night shift. The manager he was working with (Peter) made him do another job. He had to do heavy lifting on the new position. He told him his wrist hurt but he did not care. He hurt his wrist and now cannot move it. I would like someone to talk to him about how he treats his employers. And how the employers should be treated.

Lowe's had a change in policy earlier in the year (2/11). Many of you probably knew or assumed that employees assisting you with a difficult projects/purchase such as blinds, flooring, kitchens, appliances and plumbing were getting some sort of commission. Up until 2/11, they were. It Equated to about 1% - 3% which was a life saver when the base salary at Lowe's is around $10 - $15 p/hr. Up until 2/11 the employees were held accountable for their sales so they made damn sure they got the info right the first time and made the experience for the customer a good one. If they screwed up...guess what??? NO COMMISSION! Lowe's corporate sent out an email on 2/8 that basically said the extra money people were getting in their check was creating a hardship because it was not consistent paycheck to paycheck. 3 Days notice... Quote: "These types of incentive pay are unpredictable and result in fluctuations in bi-weekly pay that subject our employees to uncertainties during various times of the year." Lowe's also stated in a different communication that it is expected up to 40% of the "Specialists" will leave the company because of this change, but it's OK because those are the people that have a "ME" attitude. So, next time you have a project you want Lowe's to do for you, make sure you know everything about it BEFORE you go to price it. Make the following assumptions: The employee will be new and will need to get help from someone else. You will then need to teach BOTH/ALL employees helping you what is required for the project. They will need to call you back with a final scope and price because there really is only 2 or 3 employees left in the store that know what they are doing and he or she is not working when you are there. You may never get the call because the 2 or 3 are way over worked and don't have time to deal with the mistakes of the newbies...and they are looking for a new job. Your project can take 6 months when the mistakes are factored in. Final thought: lowe's typically has about 100 employees. Single store sales avg 30-40 million. A single appliance or kitchen specialist is responsible for $500k - $1M in sales p/yr and Lowe's stopped rewarding that kind of service...$5k - 30K on top of a full time wage of approx 25K...shameful! At least this will now give the smaller building supply shops a chance to get back in the game...it's all about service.

TULARE LOWES PROJECT SPECIALIST EXTERIORS(SALES PERSON LIC 1633165) CANT BE TRUSTED ITS BAD WHEN THE PROJECT SPECIALIST LIES TO YOUR FACE AND HE RESPERSENTS LOWES -WHY CANT PEOPLE TELL THE TRUTH= I HAVE BEEN A LOWES SHOPPER FOR YEARS LIVE AROUND THE CORNER I WILL NOW TAKE MY BUSINESS TO HOME DEPOT ONE BAD WORKER WILL COST LOWES THOUSANDS IN A LIFE TIME

I stumbled across this site while looking for a corporate number for Lowe's. The church I am Senior Pastor of has been remodeling several offices and we have purchased most of the material from Lowe's in Mt. Dora Florida. We have tried to reschedule someone to come measure for carpet and have gotten nothing but extremely poor customer service from them. One manager who gave his name as Joe, mislead our office assistant who was tasked with following up on the scheduling and they have not shown us the courtesy of returning our phone calls. They were a no show for the only appointment they scheduled and one of our assistants lost an entire afternoon because they neither called nor came when scheduled. They are on the verge of losing not only this carpet sale and installation, but of losing all of our business for the balance of our remodeling which will be costly for them.

I been customer of Lowe's for many years and to me everytime I step in the store some of the employees make feel like a part of the Lowes family.I don't know what happend today.Look like everybody woke up for the wrong side of the bed.I am a disable person and I need a electric chair when I go to Lowe's.My arthritis is not helping me.Well this is my complaint:Is time for this store in Poinciana,Florida to get new electric car for handicapp people.Everytime,I mean, everytime,I go to Lowe's the car,die on me,or the reverse don't work or stop moving(not for dead battery). I been(I mean, some friends)working in this project in my house where I was suppo-sed to spend not more of $1,500.00 (so far over $2,000.00)on kitchen cabinets, but my wife decide to put some tiles too.I never though this was going to happend to me on Lowe's,maybe on Home Depot, but not in Lowe's.I went to buy some base molding to be put after they finish to put the tiles. When i call for help nobody(employee)came to my help.I have to ask another customer for advised. After I pick the molding for my house. The molding was is a pack of ten>that was ok.But to carry those molding from the back of the store to the front of the store was another fight. That was a pain in the butt. Some of the employees saw me strugling with those molding and nobody,I mean nobody help me with that.Even the guy at the self service register saw me strugling with the molding and did nothing to help me,but he help the man in the other register, what a shame. The funny thing was when I was living the store to my truck a littler boy ( about 10 years),ask me if I need help. The thing is because Home Depot is to far from my house I will start to buy in Home Doepot againg, maybe the service is better now.My last word to Lowe's are SHAME OF YOU LOWE'S.I sure you have me in your video camera and see me.

i'm writing in concern about my grand-daughter and her getting fired because a person heard her talking to another customer and saying that the baby this girl was holding a child that was acting like a little monkey and this guy thought my grand-daughter was a "racist"which she is BY FAR not so.....My grand-daughter has never been a racist ,some of her best friends are black as a matter a fact the whole family has alway had the highest respect for all folks no matter what the color of the skin or what country they came from .... I believe if this manager had looked at my grand-daughters record of work he would have found out he just fired a empolle that was one of the best he could ever get,no matter what time or how many days days my grand-daughter worked she alway went in and would never complain about it so for this reason i will no longer shop or reffer any on to the "Lowes Store" in Warner Robins,Georgia on Watson Blvd..thank You

New Bathroom Project Installed by Lowe’s Started: 4/23/12 Completed: 5/4/12 Issues with bathroom installation job: Greenwall was not installed on every wall and ceiling surface as requested by customer. Tile floor installed out of pattern. Tub has soft spots. Tub creaks when walked in. Sink drain leaks. Light above mirror installed upside down. Tile floor is not uniformly flat (hills and valleys exist). Tile floor has developed cracks. Tub scratched. Tub not level-----water does not drain into tub from two front upper corners at tile edge. Water leaks from shower head. Rollers on bottom of shower door are corroded already. Bathroom outside window sill is cracked/damage by contractor by using window as entrance and exit if debris and material. At this time, the local store is determining their slutions to rectify our Bathroom situation. An independent inspector (paid by Lowe's) arrived yesterday to put his opinion on it. His opinion will help them make their decision. So far we give the contractor from Lowe's an EXTREMELY POOR rating. We give Lowe's staff in handling this situation a FAIR TO GOOD rating. If all goes in our favor, we will certainly raise our staff rating to EXCELLENT. (To be discussed at meeting on 5/14/12. Patty, Beth, Mike) (To be discussed at meeting on 5/14/12. Heather, Patty) (To be discussed with Inspector, Frank, on 5/17/12)

Refer to Lowe's Order 224865499. I ordered item online on 5/8/2012, I printed out the Purchase Order details on 5/9/2012, which said the item had arrived at the store, Lowes of Jonesboro, AR (#414). Customer service said the item did not show up in their computer and said it was not in. Got a phone call on 5/17/2012 saying that the store had found the item, which had arrived on 5/9/2012. I really think that since Lowes withheld the item from me to at least 8 days, that a charge can be filed with the local police. If any Lowes personnel are reading this review, can Lowes relationship with this customer, me, be fixed? I had sent numerous emails CustomerCare@lowes.com, which didn't care.. There is no customer service. My actual rating is no stars. Larry Brewer, Jonesboro, AR

My husband and I purchased a stove from lowes. We were told that the installer would do whatever it took to install the range. They finally get her and inform us we need a carpenter in order to remove something. Thank you lowes associates for NOT knowing what your selling, not knowing what you're talking about, and basically talking out your rears. We've gone weeks without a stove, and now have to wait another week due to poor communication from these lousy employees. Oh, and let's not forget that this lousy corporate office hangs up on me everytime I call. Seriously, I don't understand how Lowes has stayed in business for so long. They don't care about their customers or their customer service. I work in retail and do my best to help all my customers. Lowes sure doesn't. I should be able to get through to their corporate office. But of course, that would mean they cared. I'm telling everyone I know to not shop at Lowes.

We purchased wooden flooring from Lowes with hard earned money. After about 3 months the flooring started coming up. We call and call and no oneonr ever returns our call. We actually went back to the store several times, finally speak with a Manager. After almost a year the Manager and a rep from the manufacture came to look at the floors and said they would get back with us on how they would correct the problem. That was three months ago and still have not heard from them. I am ready to take the floors and dump them in Lowes parking lot.

The service at Lowes in Danvers,MA. STINKS THE STORE MANAGER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS EITHER. I TALKED TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER PAUL MELLO AND IS EVEN WORSE HE DOES NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO CUSTOMERS COMPLAINTS !!!! ONE MESSAGE TO PAUL MELO "WE THE CUSTOMERS PAY YOUR SALARY" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am VERY disappointed with the Mansfield, Ohio Lowes. We ordered a kitchen stove almost 3 weeks ago and still havent received it or even heard when it will arrive. we knew it would take 2 weeks, but not 3 weeks. They keep saying its loaded but not shipped. We have always purchased our appliances from them, but this will be the last I'm afraid:( Thank God I didnt get rid of our old one yet or I would be ready to scream... I believe I'm blowing in the wind, there is no one from Lowes who even reads this. Guess its a way to get the steam off...
