My husband and I visited the Lake Jackson, Texas location on 5/26/12. We purchased a ceiling fan, plants, potting materials, misc. items and a washer and dryer. The salesman Matt double checked to ensure the set we picked was in the store. He said they were in the store and would be delivered this coming Wednesday. We told him that would be perfect as we had family in for our kid’s graduation the next day. I called that Thursday morning to Lowes to ensure it would be delivered and was told that it was "on the truck." I did this because about 6 years ago I spent thousands of dollars at Lowes on an entire kitchen, privacy fence and garage doors and had issues with ALL these deliveries! I received a call from the delivery company about delivering the set Thursday night between 6-8 pm. 7 pm came around and we called Lowes who stated the delivery company was running very late and we are set 8-10 and their last delivery in my area is at 12pm. 10 pm we call the delivery company directly and they stated it was not on the truck! We called lowes the next day 6/1 and spoke to numerous people and then we got a manager who was not apologetic at all, just matter of fact "it's not here and we don't know when it will be and we never have something like that in stock so I don't know why Matt told you that." We had no washer and dryer with a house full of people. We had already given ours away. Finally he relents and states that they will deliver the floor sample and ours will be in next week “sometime” and due to all of this trouble will order free pedestals for both to be delivered with OUR set. Next week came and we called a couple of times. We didn't want to bug them since we at least had a temp and that you were trying to make us happy with the addition of the pedestals. All that week AND THE NEXT WEEK!!! We spoke with the delivery department at lowes as well as managers who stated "oh, they are here but the manager of the department has to log it in (2 days later when we call back) “yeah, I'm going to stay on the department to log it in so we can deliver it”. So on 6/12/12 we call back, still not logged in but they will and call us the next day for delivery. No call the next day. We call again 6/14/12. They will deliver it now on 6/15 but no pedestals. The manager who said we would get them is now saying he did not say that. So we have gone through all this trouble to get what WE paid for instead of your workers doing their own job. The sales person lied to us just to make the sale and the manager lied to us just to suffice us. Great customer service? It took me years to want to use this store again after the last issues I had. I don’t have these issues with Home Depot. Now that they are lowering their prices, how do you expect to make any business with poor business antics and customer satisfaction? I had planned to come in Saturday and pick up a grill for my husband for father’s day. I had planned on purchasing a Weber Genesis s 300 for $900. My very hard earned money will go to Home Depot as I will not be a returning customer of Lowes. I am a Director of Quality at a Brazoria County hospital, so I do get complaints. I use the valid complaints to teach and train my staff, for it is our patients that keep us here. I hardly ever complain unless it is just so blatant. I will let everyone I know as well as posting it on numerous review sights to warn your future customers about the lies and service they will receive. As of today, I am still waiting for my washer and dryer set. I plan on faxing this to the store I purchased it from as well contacting corporate headquarters in North Carolina. This store and you as corporate should be ashamed!

Our 1/2hp 230V 10Gpm submergible pump we bought 1 1/2 yrs ago crapped out. We went online to LOWES.COM, they had one advertized for reg. price $87.00 and on sale for $21.00. So I called to see if: 1) it was in stock. 2) if they had that particular one in stock. 3) if the price was correct(BIG MISTAKE!!) The fine gentleman I was talking with, when i told him about the price I had found on the inernet site, rudely and quickly put me on-hold and low and behold I was diconnected after holding for 5min., before my very eyes these crooked, money grubbing, unethical, unchristian @ssh@les changed the price to $350!!!!!! I proceeded to call them back and tell them that I didnt appreciate them changing the price and what we can do about it... "Sorry, that was LOWES mistake and it was corrected." I said, "Yes, after I called to come get it!!!!!" LOWES rep proceeded to tell me if I had a print out of where it said $21 that they couldn't say over the phone whether they could honor that price or not. (but no where on the site does is say, be sure to print this page in case we have untrustworthy employees) Of course you're FALSE ADVERTISING, Fraudulant, Price Adjusting, Conartists know I cant get a print out if you change the price in your stores computer, even if I back out to previous screens. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED, PISSED AND FEEL VERY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF!!! I WISH I WAS A LAWYER OR HAD TIES TO A LAWYER THAT WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SOME EXTRA COIN OR HELP AN HONEST HARD WORKING AMERICAN. I thought those offences where against the law??? I PRAY THAT LOWES GOES BANKRUPT AND SHUTS DOWN WITH CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT PAYING BACK EVERYONE THEY RIPPED OFF,CONNED, LIED TO AND F@CKED OVER TO MAKE A LOUSY DOLLAR!!!!!!

I used to love to go to your stores. Not anymore. YOU ARE SELLING AMERICAN FLAG DOORMATS? SHAME ON YOU! You lost me and my whole family as customers. GET RID OF THEM. Those of us who grew up respecting the American Flag, and those who fought to defend it, would never let the American Flag touch the ground, much less use it as a doormat, to walk on or wipe your feet on it! USE YOUR HEAD! This is not the time to do something like this. It never will be the time. I'm boycotting your store and will have all my friends and neighbors and family do the same. GET RID OF THEM!

I am writing this two days after my experience with Joe McMallous in your carpet department. (By the way, I called to get the correct spelling of Joe's last name, and John in said department was very rude and hung up on me) I went to your store first, versus Home Depot, because I've been a faithful customer up to now. I arranged a measurement with Guy Hartogh, who was new and wasn't very informed I learned later. Regardless, the measurement company came out, very pleasant lady, and all went well on that end. I was called 2 days later and told I had to come into the store for my measurement quote. I went that evening and was treated so poorly by Joe I will never deal with your store again. I asked for the quote, gave my name, and he pulled out a folder and slid it across a counter to me. He went back to talking with another associate about the night before which I thought was rude, but no bother. I asked why install was $424.52, so high... He said "it's the price for the install". Went back to talking....I still didn't know why so much, asking again. He rolled his eyes and went down the list, very, very condescendingly. He said the carpet install was $92.26 and the pad install was $332.26. Went back to talking....I did not understand this. He continued to get inpatient with me to the point where I was so embarrassed. Other customers were there. I finally said I do not get why the pad install is more than the carpet install. He looked at the quote and then said, "Oh yeah, well it looks like that's the pad cost as well". I did not even pick a grade of pad yet, why did they quote that? He continued his poor attitude, and said I must have. I told him I most certainly did not, and asked for the price of the install only. Even after realizing this, his attitude towards me just plain rudeness. He was so bothered by me that I finally just left my cart of merchandise and walked out of the store. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience, one which is unforgivable in today's world/economy. I went to Home Depot and it was a pleasant experience, and I got a better buy. I could thank you for the direction this experience took me, (to Home Depot), but for the fact that it was so upsetting, and I will certainly advise against this store in the future.

I have shopped at lowes for years and will continue to shop there, but today I went into the store to purchase close to $1000 in fencing materials. When I was in the garden center the sign said a contractors pack of 500 pickets was $500. I was with my husband and my brother and they both say the sign. When we went to the register they rang up $1.18. I asked the associate about the price and she acted like she didn't care. So we all walked back down to the garden center to check the price and the tag had changed while we checking out. The tag was on the right hand side of the board when we arrived and then when we rechecked their price the tag was on the left hand side of the board. It was frustrationg that the wrong price was up on the tag so I ended up paying about $150 more than anticipated. I would not have been mad if the price was correct when I got there

I ordered a product that was offered on Lowes.com. Product purchase order was placed by customer service representative. He was supposes to place the order and have order sent to a local store. Twelve days go by and no call or email from store or customer service that order was ready for pickup. Went to local store they have no idea of where order is at or due to be delivered. They do not even have an idea who was suppose to place the order customer service states store was to place order and store states that customer service was to place order. Here where the service is extremely dissatisfying and everyone of my 1,000,000+ followers on my blog will know about the worse care and service at Lowe's and Customer Service. Not one manager at store took the time to try to resolve the issue or even speak to me about it. I sat there for over an hour trying to get it resolved through customer service on the phone. No one even apologizes at the store for the inconvenience they had a cashier hand me a receipt of return for my purchase with no explanation. Left store with customer service still on hold. Finally talked to another customer service representative after 2 hours of trying to get issue resolved and the final resolution was we can not get product ordered and sent to you sorry. What the "H"? I waited almost 2 weeks for delivery and If I never would have stop by store to check on order I still to this day would have been waiting. In the meantime I could have purchased the product elsewhere but now that product is no longer available so I've been screwed twice. If you no longer carry products can get product then stop advertising for sale of product. I understand some regions may carry certain items but if product was searched in all regions and still not available STOP OFFERING IT FOR SALE. Just don't rely on great service from this company, if you value your money and expect a business to respect it with service of excellence then Lowes is not the place to shop. Now I understand why they are shutting down so many stores in GA.

Why is it that we can go to lowes one week and they can make keys with chips in them, then you go to get another key made with a chip then they said that I did not get the key made there, they are not paying $800.00 to get my car fixed, but my other key works just fine, and I know I did. They are so rude about it to. Some of the staff just act like they don't want to be there.

I bought a pear tree that is supposed to be guaranteed or a year. The tree had no roots when I bought it, but I thought that I would give it a chance, so I put it in the ground. After waiting for 2 months for it to recover I tried to return it. They no longer had any in stock, and did not know the id number for it. I coud not find the receipt and so they would not return it or a refund or store credit! It still had the lowes tag on it. I have spent thousands at Lowe's and have never tried to return a plant before. I feel so very frustrated and angry!

I recently bought An fridadare 6,500 btu. air cond. on line got it ups two day later opened it up plugged it in and it does not even work called fridadare they said its lowes problem lowes put it back on fridadare. I have recently had heart bypass surgery and probably will die becuse its so hot, and lowes advertieses five year in home warranty which fridadare says is not true false add. and fraulduless. to say the least. I am calling an an lawyer about the false addvertising and sueing lowes for every penny I can get.

My old dishwasher broke and I ordered a new one from Lowe's. I needed an ADA dishwaher. The first one came without one and we went back and reordered and very clear that we needed an dishwasher that was ADA appropriate. Finally after three and a half week the installer came to install it. It was not ADA appropriate. I had been a loyal customer of Lowe's for some time but will not use them any more. I am deeply appalled at the lack of response and customer service that they offer. It has been over a month and I still have had no success with them ......even speaking to my local store manager. In my instimation, Lowe's has gone downhill and I will switch to Home Depot...they seem to care about their customers. I would urge anyone to boycott Lowe's.

If you had a "rating" less than one, I would give you that. I purchased an extended warranty for a lawn mower that I purchased and have caught hell trying to get my lawnmower repaired, using the extended warranty. Lowe's Service Advantage has added "zero value" to helping me get my lawnmower repaired and returned to me. The repair shop that has my lawnmower, MAXX Power Sport, has had my lawnmower since 22 May 2012, today is 6 June 2012. The repair shop told me on 31 May 2012, that they had just looked at my lawnmower and are trying to determine if the repair is covered under my warranty. The Lowe's Service Advantage people told me this morning that the repair shop is still trying to determine if the needed repair is "covered under warranty". Damn shame!!! Lowe's extended service warranties and the "process" are broken. As I write this comment, I still have absolutely no idea when I will get my lawnmower back. If and when I ever get my lawnmower back (repaired), I am finished with Lowe's. Either Home Depot, Ace, or True Value Hardware, will get my business. If I should need another lawnmower, I will purchase one from Sears. Sears are more expensive, but you get what you pay for!

The most deceitful company i have ever dealt with, I drove over 60 miles round trip after being told by Lowe's of Paso Robles, CA they had the Top rated water heater i was looking for, i found it bought it paid for it, the required permits, installation by their installer named Jerry's Plumbing of San Luis Obispo, CA. I received a call from both Lowe's and the installer confirming the delivery and installation for this morning. The installer called informing me they are picking up the permit and will be here shortly to install. Three hours passed ? no one. I called was told by City NO permit has been taken out, then i get a call from a third party plumber who told me Jerry's Plumbing can not install it so i have it and i too can not install it ? I called Jerry's Plumbing they farmed it out to a third party. Not one notice from Lowe's or Jerry's Plumbing all leaving me hanging for hours all being lied too and misled by both. To be left hanging loosing hours of work, and then finally i am told Jerry's was telling a very far different story ? the regional manager told me another story. Jerry's would not do it and had it sent to Casey a second plumber whom called and said he too could not install it ? then I am told it was because the Plumber Lowe's uses Jerry's Plumbing has had lawsuits against them which is very trued they have a history of legal action for substandard work, so why did Jerry's lie and cover up, as well as Lowe's. So I asked for all my monies back and certainly will not ever do business with Lowe's ever again and have made sure none of my firms will do business with them. Home Depot you now have my business. Lowe's Lies.

Store 1886 Pottstown Pa Has to be the most missed managed store the store manager is rude to his employees Ron Geresner is his name, he expects his employees to be on time work hard ( which they should) while he allows some of his good ole boy employees do what ever they want, come in late no problem dont want to work no problem as a matter of fact another employee beat the hell out of another and he did not fire him ass a matter of fact gave him a raise the story could go on and on.

I HAVE BEEN A LOWE'S CUSTOMER FOR YEARS IN THE STAT OF WEST VIRGINIA. I PAID CASH FOR A PATIO DOOR, WHICH I HAVE THE RECEIPT FOR. I WENT TO PICK IT UP AND LOWE'S RESOLD MY PATIO DOOR TO SOMEONE ELSE SO LOWE'S MADE A PROFIT TWICE. WHEN I CONFRONTED THEM THEY ACTED REALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, BUT DID ADMIT WRONG DOING. THEY HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO CORRECT PROBLEM SO I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE LEGAL ACTION.

However this is my first time shopping at Lowes as we do not have one near us in NYC So we shop local stores The item I needed was in Kingston because it had to be delivered some 45 miles away and the time frame of purchase allowed free shipping. The operator to whom I spoke to several times Answered your number within 3 rings each time An anormous asset to Lowes her name was a telephone operator named Rochell In the Kingston store I was directed to Chris ODonnell who took the time to speak to me explain and answer any questions and concerns I had as I was ordering a John Deere riding mower and wanted to be sure the one we looked at on our last visit was the same one. He was extremly professional something that is sorely missing today. In fact you are lucky to get any customer service. If you get a real person on the phone its amazing and then to be so helpful it unbelievable. You definitely have two great employees that I have experienced. I hope I have no problems with my purchase and am happy with my mower . I Just think when employees of companies go above and beyond for their employers they should be recongnized Please see to it that the two above employees are recognized and rewarded these are the people who leave a good impression on a customer. I definitely will be back to Lowes. I do need to tell you it was a whole different story when I tried to get though to your Newburg store. took forever before anyone answered and then switched me to someone else. I let the phone ring for 10 min noone even came back to see why I was holding on so long So I called back the Kingston store.

You guys are pathetic. Your management and ability to communicate is a joke. All this over poor communication and the delivery of appliances which were verified and now are gone. 1) wasted customer day, and an additional day of waiting for another load of bull from Americas Home Improvement Center.

My frustration as well is the same as a prior post. Are you people such cowards you have no source of email that allows you to see how shitty your management is. You guys suck that you cannot deal with this head on.
