Went to the ljs in Georgia, I think it was hwy. 138. The service was outstanding!!! The manager really is top-notch - the food was very good, the restaurant was clean, even the bathrooms were clean. If I could ever get back to Georgia, I'm going back there!!!! Thanks for the awesome service...

On March 31st, Saturday at 1:00 pm I had lunch at Long John Silver's in Marshall Texas. After drinking the tea within the hour, I had a burning sensation in my bladder. I have had this 2 weeks with my 4th round of antibiotics. I have never in my life had a UTI infection and I have one now. This has cost lots of unnecessary medical bills to doctors and for medication. According to researching Restaurant Tea it can have e-coli in it from an unclean tea container or using old tea. I have written corporate 3 times with not ONE CONCERNED RESPONSE BACK. I AM GETTING NOTHING OUT OF THIS EXCEPT TO HELP OTHERS NOT TO EAT AT LONG JOHN SILVERS OR THEY WILL GET SICK. I am turning this into the Better Bureau Business and to the Health Department. DO NOT EAT AT ANY LONG JOHN SILVERS. THEY HAVE DIRTY RESTAURANTS!!!!

My wife and I went to Long Johns last night at about 7 . We eat and then went home. From midnight to daylight we were both running back and forth to the bathroom throwing up . She and I both were unable to go to work and was'nt able to go to the doctor . It's like 1 pm ,and I called the long johns where we ate and manager the have not heard of anyone getting sick from anything . Not so sure about that . Takes a lot to make me sick at my stomach , but that meal done it . We both are still sick 18 hours later . Bad seafood .

We too went to the Seymour, In store and got HORRIBLE service !! We won't eat there again if we can help it. It actually don't start off too bad but when I ate my 2nd piece of chicken I couldn't hardly bite thru it cause the chicken was grisly (sp?). So I took it back up there and nicely said "I don't think this chicken is done, I could be wrong but when I went to bite into it ...." (she cut me off and she as in the MANAGER sherry!!) and grabbed it and said "Oh it's done" and thru it in the trash. Now here's where it gets rude, another worker came up and said "what was wrong with it?" and Sherry says "nothing, she just said its not done but it is" almost like I wasn't even standing there so when she handed me another piece I said "I'm sorry I'll eat the one you thru away if it's cooked like you said it was ?" she said "no just eat another" and when I went back and sat down they were all glaring at me to which I smiled politely back. Then the worker that had asked the manager what was wrong with it came out and began to ask table by table how everything was and can I get anything out of the way and even got a refill for one table but not ONE time did she stop by our table. As we left we did not ring the bell and my family was already outside and as I stepped out the manager hollers out "thank you have a great evening" in a VERY sarcastic voice to which I opened the door back up and said "thanks, you too!!" to be honest I can deal with bad food once in awhile cause food is something you don't always get perfect but I SIMPLY CAN'T deal with rude service !! The manager and workers need to be reprimanded and personally think the manager needs to be FIRED !! And if you knew me you would know that that is out of character for me especially in this economy. But it shouldn't be tolerated !! That's what carries over to the employees. Rude boss = rude employees which will also result in no customers eventually.

My family and I have been going to the Mattoon Il store located at 1208-16 E Charleston Ave store for many years. We will not be eating there again. This last time our fish was cooked VERY undone to the point the breading was very soggy. I called and complained they took my name told me to keep the receipt and to come in and get a replacement dinners anytime. WELL Sandy the manager was very rude said my name was not wrote down and more or less called us thieves. I asked for her bosses number and she would not give it to me but said to fill out survey on PHONE and her BOSS would get it. To me this in NOT ACCEPTABLE.I like talking to a person and someone who cares about my BAD EXPERIENCE. There goes are SUNDAY EVENING dinners at LONG JOHN SILVERS/A&W. This a a pretty small town and I will be telling my friends and family also. Word of mouth goes a long way in this town.

I have not had such poor service from a fast food place in a long time...My husband & I stopped at ljsilvers in El Dorado,Kansas after shopping at walmart. It was just a few minutes after 9pm,we pulled up to the speaker in the drive thru. We sat there for almost 5 minutes & nobody asked us for our order. Thinking they might've been closed(this was tonight,Saturday),we pulled up to the window.I noticed the time on the window and it said they closed at 10pm. I pulled out and whipped back into the drive thru.ANOTHER WAIT! Another car pulled up behind me and after a few minutes they pulled off.My husband honked the horn several times and FINALLY someone answered and waited on us.We placed our order, which was not correct,they left out my husband's hush puppies also, did not give us our receipt. We sat at the window for ALMOST ANOTHER 10 minutes AFTER placing our order...then I looked in the window & saw 2 young ladies & 2 young men...no one else. If there had been an older person to supervise them they might've done a better job.Not real happy with them now.

I am contacting you today to inform you that the location at 7421 Douglas Ave., Urbandale, IA 50322 Phone: 515-276-0030 has been continuously (for three or more months) serving french fries that taste moldy. I know this is not acceptable and that you would wish this to be brought to your attention immediately. I did not contact you sooner as the first time this happened, I felt it was most likely a one time incident that had occurred. I no longer visit this particular location, even though it is located in an affluent area of a metropolitan area. This is largely due to the re-occurence of this event. Other locations do not seem to have a problem with product. I would recommend an unannounced visit and thorough inspection of this matter. This will not deter me from visiting other locations as I know this is a reputable business entity and that this is an unusual event that has occurred in the area. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. P.S. I did try to call and no one answered as it must have been after regular office hours. Thank you again for sharing your recipes with the public. I would like to also recommend heart-healthy dishes to be added to the menu to expand product lines and promote growth in your business. I come from East Tennessee, where we had a LJS, I now live near Raleigh I have only seen one LJS in Raleigh, and its located to where it is not visible at all, how about building a LJS in Wake Forest, NC you will get great and a lot of good customers that will come thru. Thanks a bunch

The girl that was serving food had a cut on her, and she showed me the cut on her hand. I had to explain to her to wash her hand she argued with me about her bloody hand, the manager came out and said she already washed her hands. I told her again to not touch my food with her "bloody palm" she finally washed her wound and served the food. I dont know about you all but I am not a fan of "Bloody Hush Puppies" This store is located in Bakersfield, ca..

was on my way to work to get some fish good to eat.Stopped at long john slivers and got poor service. No soft drink the order was not even the order I asked for.Poor management is who I blame. Sorry so Sorry Disappointed.

Visiting Orlando, ran into LJS on Michigan Ave. I ordered and realized the add ons would cost more than if I got a bigger meal. The clerk didn't offer the other meal and seem bothered when I tried to change the order. When I got to the window, apparently adding one piece of fish requires a managers approval blah blah blah. Then you have to drive around and wait. While waiting, 4 employees were outside hanging out and one of them had his pants hanging below his underwear. It was disgusting. Who lets their employees dress like that? When we got on the highway, we realized they shorted us a piece of fish and the hushpuppies and fries were so greasy and cold they were inedible. I sent LJS an email 3 days ago and they didn't have the courtesy to respond. You just lost another customer.

i david lockett went tothe long johns in temple and i experience an encounter inever thought could happen.i order the family meal and the lady who took my order was very unprofessional and treated me with respect as acustomer.she got my food together than she said anything else i said yes plates napkins and condiments.she yell ,dontrush me!i look at my kids and she come to the window and said ,u heard what i said ,and this time i said look lady whats your trip ,and she stuck her tongue out being so rude and more disrespectful,so i ask for a manager and the guy come to the window and he apologize for her and said i cant do anything she is a manager just like i am.so he walked off and i ask for my money back and she got louder and said ,u got to have your receipt!i said i got it and we started arguing and wouldnt bring me my money so i parked my car and me and my kids went inside.i waited for them to refund me and when i look the police pulled up to the restaurant.

I was appalled at the service I received from your Seymour, In store. I will NEVER go back, even if my life depended on it!! There was no customers in dine-in or drive thru. I was rushed at the speaker, only to sit at the window for 15 minutes. I tell them I want condiments when I hand the girl my money, then she gives me my change and slams the window. Then proceeds to use the same dirty money hands to cook my food, when there is a sink right behind her. I finally get my food and I have dried slaw on my plate, bc I asked for hush puppies instead and they forgot and just wiped it out, but yet left quite a bit still on my plate and thru my puppies on top of it. Then the lady gives me 3 ketchups with $20 of food! I ask her nicely for a few more, she tosses 2 more at me in my car, then slams the window in my face! I said "that's alright, I will be contacting the manager." Ad I start to pull away she opens the window and throws her head out yelling "What the FU*K did you just say to me?" It took everything I had to keep my composure. She is lucky that window was between us and I had my FIVE YEAR OLD with me!!! Words cannot describe the kind of service I received. We lice in a small town and I know alot of people, you better believe your number of customers just significantly dropped, even more than they have in the past year. I'm surprised ita still even here!!

I don't know what has happened to LJS. It appears I am not the only person having a problem with the food. My family stopped at the Washington Court House, Ohio store. The food was swimming in oil, the breading was uncooked on the inside, the fish and chicken pieces were smaller and, the crumbs were drenched in oil. I called the district rep. three times and no response. We used to enjoy eating at LJS, but I believe this will be the last. I will try Captain D's and see what happens there. I wish LJS would return to a QUALITY product. If the quality of food served continues as I have been reading here. I do not see Long John Silver surviving long. The fast food business is a dog eat dog business. GET WITH IT LONG JOHN SILVER I wish I could post the photos I have what an oily mess

Your resturant in Bryan,Texas is gotta be the worst there is. The resturant is filty nasty dirty and the customer service has to be the worst i've seen in my 51 years of life. I fully entend to contact the Texas health department. As well on a prior visit i was shorted part of my order and when i called the manager who was a male told me to mention it on my next visit and i would be taken care of. On 1/13/12 i revisted the resturant which was even more filthy dirty and was treated like a liar and bum who came in trying to get free food. The cashier just laughed and was giggling the whole time. When i spoke to the manager on duty i got the same response from her. I was more then pissed off and told the both of them that i would contact the corporate office in regards to this. I was told by the manager who said word for word i dont care what you do. They young african american girl who was not even in uniform started laughing and walked away. There was an elderly lady and gentlemen sitting there and the lady said you should call in on them like were going to do. I told them i would do exactly that. Being completely honest i didnt think it was possible to be treated this way in a resturant. At the age of 51 if i have to go into a place and lie to be able to get a free piece of fish i think i would just give up on life. Long John Silvers you need to act on this because, i promise you and this is not a threat i will contact the Health Department and i will tell everyone i know and beg them to tell everyone they know about this horrible experience and hopefully together the citizens of this community can do what we can to have this nasty filthy resturant put out of business. You people should be ashamed of this. I wouldnt after what i saw again let my dog eat nothing from that place. Long John Silvers your customer service stinks and this along with this filthy resturant is a direct reflection on how this company operates. You dont even have a number for your customers to call and make compliments or complaints which iam sure its because you dont care. I didnt realize it until now after posting a review that Long John Silvers will not even read whats written here. No wonder there food is of the poorest quality and there customer service is the worst. LJS dosent care about what i or anyone thinks. All they care about is making money. Why do you think they dont have a customer service line to directly speak to a live person. Long John Silvers your the worst. I will never eat at your resturants again. The food is substandard and iam sure if reported to the local health department and a formal complaint filed with them that this particular resturant would be shut down which is exactly what should happen. Racism exist in the Bryan, Texas resturant. White people should be able to visit african american operated resturants with out being treated differently. Iam not a racist and dont treat people of other races any different then i want to be treated. What ever happened to the customer is always right. lol well with Long John Silvers they are the only ones right. There right up the alley with operating substandard resturants who serve cold greasy food that puts all our hearth at risk right along with the dirty filthy nasty stinky restrooms and dining rooms. God only knows what goes on behind the scene that we dont see. I will always tell everyone i see and know or ever meet about my experience and hopefully they will be smart enough to never eat at Long John Silvers again. Believe me when i say i wont. Your company sucks and i hope it goes under. No wonder McDonals is so successful. I used to go to one of the stores in Uniontown, Pa until i went in one day and saw what was really going on, It was disgusting, The employees had dropped lids, boxes, napkins, Etc..Sat, Stood, & Laid upon counter tops, Did not attend to customers at all, When they did the food was very greasy, and served sloppy, the store was filthy and smelled really bad, Not to mention the bathrooms and how dirty those were, And the Employees having their children their while they work REALLY..Can't they get a baby sitter? Any way i believe that when food is prepared is should be prepared apart from eachother, For instance, I'm allergic to Shell fish, So i can't have Shrimp, There for i can't eat the food because everything is fried together, Get where i'm coming from...Anyway i have pictures of this place if you want them please let me know..Thank You

I went to your Leavenworth Ks store yesterday at 400pm. The service was awful. The food sucked,they put it in a bag when i wanted to have it there. The food was cold and very greasy,It took forever,people walked out because the cashier was not at the counter. It was the worst expereince I`ve ever had at a Long Johns Silver the whole staff should be fired!!!!!

after reading other reviews about LJS Stores the one in Muskegon michigan is great food is always hot,employees very friendly, great valve and we drive 20miles just to shop at the LJS shop, ever think about opening a shop in Grand Haven, Michigan on the south end of town, it would be a hit with the population. #31668 3407 West Broadway Against my better judgment, but at my daughters request I went to Long John Silver’s. First, problem is the narrow drive thru that is nearly impossible to turn into (I scraped my car). Second problem is that a solicitor/panhandler that was sitting on the steps of the restaurant scared me because she/he caught me off guard and knocked on my window (it was dark outside) asking for money. However, the major problem is that I was trapped in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes or more. I asked the cashier for tartar sauce and honey mustard and she said OK (I asked at the window), but when I drove off and checked my bag I discovered that there wasn’t any of the requested condiments. After waiting in drive thru, I still had to come in. When I approached the counter, I stated that I came through drive thru, but the condiments were not put in my bag. Toni was on the defensive from the start - telling me that, “They can make mistakes!” My reply, “My mistake was that I came there in the first place and what was the point of going through drive thru, if I have to wait and still come in!” Tony was rambling on about it being a Friday and they are busy, etc. Tony was more than happy to point to the condiment request sign and I stated that “I did request condiments.” Toni told me that I needed to stop talking so loud (which I felt like I wasn’t), but I told her that I am a grown woman and I can and will say what I please. She told another worker “to get my condiments so that I could get out “and I replied, “Yeah, get it so I can go home and put in a complaint!” I asked her for her name and again, she was more than happy and cocky to state that she was the manager. I told her good, because the company needs to know how she is running the store. She continued to try to talk down to me and was still yelling as I was walking out the door and I yelled back at her as I left the store. Toni was on the defense from the start & pretty much tried to make it seem as if I didn’t have a right to complain about my experience. Like I told her, “She wasn’t the one that had to wait for 15 minutes and still have to come into the restaurant!” I truly think that she needs to be trained properly and someone from corporate needs to look into how matters are handled at this location. It would be a good idea to send in a secret shopper while Toni is working on a FRIDAY (her excuse) and see first – hand how things are at this location. I for one will NOT be back!!! Also, I will not be surprised if I learn later that matters have escalated at this restaurant with another customer, due to Toni’s inability to communicate properly with customers.
