WENT TO LONG JOHN SILVER'S IN MERRITT ISLAND FL SPENT 23.00 AND THE FOOD WAS AWFUL IT WAS COLD AND NOT FRESH AT ALL CALLED THE STORE AND THE MANAGER TOLD ME I COULD BRING BACK WHAT I DIDNT EAT BUT WASNT WILLIN TO REPLACE TH WHOLE ORDER WASNT REMORSEFUL AT ALL WAS DISAPPOINTED WONT BE GOING BACK.

We went to the store in brandenburg ky just like we have lots of times this time the fish was soggy and the chicken also called to let the manager no she offered to replace the fish but then insisted it was cooked fresh I would of rather got my money back because I will not eat there again

I went to the LJS on Shorter Ave Rome,GA.30165 on Sunday ,Oct.23,2011 around 2.30 PM. I had a $2.00 coupon on a variety platter,so I told the cashier ,I wanted the fish bites platter, she said I couldn't use it.She said that it was already marked down.I told her ,why can't I use the coupon it a variety platter,so she rung it up and it took the coupon off,she said well I guess it worked.She was so ruled and not a bit friendly.When I got home there was just a little bit of fries,you think a variety platter would at least have more fries than that.I will not go back there during lunch hours,I will go during supper time ,or go to a different fish place.

tonight was the 4th. time in a 4-6 wk. time my husband and i used to love your resturant. but the last 4 times was terrible 1st. time our fish was much smaller and was so dried out we couldn't eat it all. and the service was terrible the cashier talked to the cook complaining he was tired so on.was rude.also the cashier was doin drive thru and mopping the floor with out washing his hands and touching food.last he droped a slaw and put it back in cooler.this trip was near closing time.2nd. trip the fish was back to normal size but the breading was thick and not cooked. asked for crunchies with crab cakes they said they didn't have any.our 3rd. trip i told the girl about the time before and she said sorry and said she would give me a discount if she did it wasn't much like maybe 1-2 dollars off. that meal wasn't to bad. tonight i go back get our meal get home no slaw. forgot to mention every time some thing happened i call like tonight no answer i will let it ring ... like 15times aleast i even call back no answer. we are in oregon 'oh. i'm sorry for bad reviews but someone needs to check on these restrants..its young kids who don't care about service just paycheck.

We ordered both fish and chicken tonight but the only thing we could taste was grease. My fish was so greasy that it stuck to the paper. We also got extra crumbs or more like extra grease. There was so much grease in the crumbs that it was pooled at the bottom of the container. If I added a little heat to it, I could've refried my fish. Bottom line, the LJS on Dodge St. in Omaha sucks and we won't be back.

I called long john silvers yesturday, I had a question, The girl that answered the phone wasnt even listening, she was talking to an employee in the background and asked ME to hold, while she was talking to her!! Then I went there and ordered food for carryout. The employees were slow, rude and didnt even give me my whole order. When I got home and realized they SCREWED up my order, I tried to call them and let them know, They put me on hold and never came back to the phone! Dont EVER eat at the LJS in Oaklawn,IL. Until they hire ALL new employess!!!! SUCKS!

Why is LJS putting MSG in their batter? MSG is poison and the only reason for it to be there is CORPORATE GREED! Get this crap out of your food!!!! I will not be eating at LJS until I see an ad campaign that says "NO MSG" Gortons frozen food in the grocery says right on the box "NO MSG" and that is where I will be getting my fish until you people wake up and get your heads out of your backside. If Gortons doesn't need MSG to sell product neither do you. Take out the MSG and try running a no MSG ad campaign and see what that does for your sales. MSG is a neurotoxin that should not be allowed in the food supply and your smeaking it in says a lot about your regard for your customers. You have lost this customeer and I hope this comment goes viral, your customers see it and you lose many more!!!!!!!!!!!! You people deserve a kick in the a*s, hopefully a kick in the wallet will suffice.

Went to a LJS,in Fogelsville,Pa ( go there in pass from time to time, uh-huh, & Liked it,"But-t,this last time,thee- cole-slaw was b-a-d " !!! *** I mentioned it ,nicely to the girl there,( um, told her I'vr never done this before,I truly havn't, um,"never complained there or else where; as it takes guts,say?! Anyway, "She says to me;" What do you want me to do about-it? Later, I reached the Manager,as I was sick,& not-t pleased !! He " Explained", to me ;" Unable to get"usual" cole slaw,so-oo he said:" Rather then to say" don't have-it", he got from else where... I had been sick for ;" 10 days since that" ( which I had mentioned to the manager,but You are not the one sitting here with a Tummy-ache)!! Yes,thank-You,finally getting better = " Yay", it was scary,ya know?! *** We prayed,& needed to eat/drink much-h - less,"Keep it lite". & Bland-like dry-toast/crackers... Thank- You for reading/listening !!! I felt ,sad.um, not respected,ya know?! Felt,"If", I came across with oh-h," Loud,etc; maybe then;" had treated me, better;" But that "should not be such", say ?! Thank-You....

At store maurice exit wichita falls tx. Yes you have sr citizen discount-10%off highest price of order item only But you have to tell them before you order or else discount applied to last item. This is very confusing for the customer and your staff. Your food is good but you need to give straight 10% off total order like other companies. Thank you.

this review is for long john silvers location 31499 pottsville pa. i tried calling this location from 530-600pm and there was no anser i call them 15 times in total. i was calling to get promotions and pricing for a large group of poeple to have dinner there. do to the fact there was know anser we all sead we would go to the hosses in sted. we then spent 250.00 at hosses for dinner. someone needs to fix this problam. iF any one cares my cell number is 5705735072.

Today I was at Long John Silvers located @ Stanton Food Court, Stanton, Ky. My ticket number is 8152, the cashier's name was Krystal and she introduced herself as one of the managers. The time was 6:02 p.m. I observed what I believe to be several OSHA regulation violations while I was waiting for my food to be prepared/packaged. 1. The male employee in the kitchen was handling food with his bare hands as he packaged it. 2. The same male employee, Colin, removed his cap and waved it over the packaging area several times, ran his hand through his hair then replaced his cap and began packaging food items---again using his unwashed bare hands at times. 3. The same male employee ventured out of site of the window then came sliding on both feet across the floor as if he were skating on ice. His slide ended directly in front of the deep friers. This was not only a danger to himself, but also his coworkers. 4. None of the employees were wearing gloves or hair nets. I do feel these employees should be educated and disciplined. Protective gear and activities are a must for their safety and proper handling of food items being sold to the public. Thank you, Sarah Jones

Just went to LJS on Airway in Dayton, OH. Specifically asked the counter person if cole slaw was added to the order - answer yes. Was it in the bag when I got home - answer no. Also the fish is getting so skinny you can almost read through it. Used to be a great value but no so much anymore. Would be more acceptable if you at least got what you paid for. By the way there seemed to be an adequate amount of people working and there were only three other customers to be served. Another good reason to eat at home!

I stopped at a long John Silver in Des Moines, Iowa on the South Side of town, the place had a sign on the window saying the hours to open were at 11:00 I was there at 11:04 the door was still locked, So I left, this has happened before, I will never eat at any Long John Silver's again....

On August 11th, about noon, I visited the Long John Silvers/A&W located on Park Blvd, in Pinellas Park, FL. When I walked in the store, there were only two people seated and no one in line. I stood at the counter for five minutes totally. After the first two minutes, and employee came out from the back and was heading out the door. I stopped her and asked if she could take my order. She replied, "I'm on Break now." I said to her, " can you at least tell someone that they have customers at the window?" She replied, " I will when I get back off of break." By this time, there were several people behind me waiting. Finally a girl came out in a blue shirt, and I stopped her and asked if she would take our orders. She replyed, "I am on the Drive Up window. I finally left along with several other customers. I have one half hour for lunch, including travel time. I don't have time to stand at an empty window waiting for someone in charge to help me. I thought that LJS was a fast food compamy? I guss that your company is doing so well, that you can afford to run off customers. Your employes just don't give damn. They should be happy to just have a job in these times. I'm sure that there are lots of people who would love to have a job.

Today I took a group to a store on Bay Road in Saginaw, MI. While eating my coleslaw I bit down hard on a piece of metal. I shopped a molar. When I informed the manager of the restaurant she had me fill out an incident report and kept calling me "honey" and "babe". Very unprofessional!! The manager did not even offer to refund the price of my meal. I am curious if anyone from corporate will even contact me--and call me by my given name. The dismissiveness of the manager was insulting and I WILL NEVER eat a Long John Silvers again.

just wondering when your store in lenoir nc is going to be rebuilt and open for business this is getting to be a hassel if your not going to rebuild then take the dam sign down if you are going to rebuild i mean 4 months the store could have be up and open

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Long John Silvers every negative review on here is wrong I have only had GREAT experiences at your company but now I live in Utah the one state I can't get your amazing food. The closes one is in rock springs Wyoming 144 miles away from me totally worth the drive. But Utah needs your restaurant. Please consider.

NEOSHO,MO. Did the drive thru,made a simple single order of a 12piece family meal. All fish with 2 sides. Waited for 15minutes before receiving my meal. Returned home with food to realize that I had been shorted 2pieces of fish and one of my sides. So without losing my cool I called the ljs and asked for the manager which sounded like a high-school kid. I explained what happened to which he replied, "well we're super busy. " no apology. I told the young manager that I didn't want to be compensated for the mess up,just to let him know so they could figure out a way to improve the service there. His reply was "I'll see. " What the hell does that mean? I know this is a complaint against long John silvers, but I see this crap all over the place. Maybe we need to rethink the values in our businesses, and get back to teaching practices in school that matter. I'm not saying its not good to be able to operate a computer, but it would also be good to be able to count out 12pieces of fish,count money back. Anyways, bad service and rude inexperienced management.

I'll be honest. The little girls working in there are really nice but some of the food and Prices aren't so good. The polar swirl I just bought was like sugary icy water. It hardly Had any reward in it and they charged me $3.49! I could have gotten a mcflurry for half the Price and they use real ice cream. The chilli on the jot dog is good but really runny and the hot Dog itself taste like rubber. The long John silvers is ok but I just wish your company would do Some research into ways to make your food healthier and better priced and pay better attention To the quality of your food.

ordered 2 meals L6 waited 10 minutes received food, everything was thrown on top. Shrimp were not cooked well fish don't know what kind of batter was on it.fries were not cooked and it looked like they came from bottom of bag. food was cool. I emailed you 2 times and no response yet. I just left a message on a recording, it was funny your recording sates how you want to hear from customers, yes you want to hear but you do not respond back
