The food at the Long John Silver at Terrell Texas.The food is over cook and dry out.I call the store to complain and got the run around.The people didn't want to replace the food.They wanted me to bring it back right then to them just to see if it was OVER cook and dry out.They would not believe me.I just drove 25 miles from the restaurant to my house.This would be 25 miles, plus 25 miles, to go back then 25 more back to my house. This would be a total of 75 miles. I just DON'T have the gas money to do all that running around just be cause of there mistake.The shrimp was tough and dry out as well as the fish. My guess is that they had the temp to high for the amount of cooking time or both.That alone would make the shrimp tough.The time of the order was at 4:06PM on the 6/24/2012.Ticket #3320 for 8P family for $12.99 this had 6 chicken planks and 2 fish,VP fish & shrimp had 2 fish and 8 shrimp for $7.99 for a total $22.71.Just because of this screw up. You guys need to sent me coupons for food and compensated for my gas. The restaurant on Broadway in Garland Texas they know how to cook the shrimp and fish.It has never been tough or over cook. Maybe you guys NEED to sent them (cook) over to that restaurant and retrain the cook. The only thing that I see with there store is that it is some times dirty floors.BUT THE FOOD IS ALWAYS GOOD AND NEVER OVER COOK. I will call you guys on Monday at 502-874-3000. Gary Prater

i will never eat at the uvalde texas place again... place is run by punks and they will short you on to go orders.... they shorted me two times in a row and thats enough.. first time was slaw and this last time it was two planks of fish on two seperate orders... never again will this place get a chanch to rip me off.... after reading the reviews it seems like i got off cheap..... thanks for the heads up...

I had lunch at Long John Silvers in Fresno, California. Location is on Herndon and Blackstone. First of all had to take my grandchild to the restroom, there were no paper towels to dry your hands and the fawcett was not securely attached to the sink. While filling my cup with a drink, as I started to move my shoes were sticking to the sticky floor. As I started to eat my fish I noticed that it must have been refried in new batter as the fish was not fresh. I will never return to to that FILTHY, DISGUSTING place they call a restaurant again!!!

Your resturant in charletown wv is soooooo disgusting. You enter thru the most filthy glass doors. (right then we should have left) anyways we order to some outrageous prices. I got a sample platter and my daughter got a cheeseburg which was so small. the food was over cooked and cold. We both felt sick after eating. (what little we ate) We will never EVER go again. Every part of that place was filthy dirty disgusting. GROSS

This was the worst experienece at any fast food restaurant in my 53 years of life. The place was filthy no ice no ketchup wrong food rude people This is located in daytona beach on ridgewood, I would suggest not going there!!!!!!

Never go to LJS in Topeka ks. The store on West 6 th is being run by drug dealers who run the store

I work at the north Topeka location,and that is just happenning at the 6th street store. But is because the personnes who fins that store is unfit to run a family, lesq à fam rest. (Smitty)

I dont think this company knows how their managet team in the 6 th st. Topeka Ks store is telling and using illegal drugs in and out of the store. Was wondering if they are in on it. Since there are no LJS restaurants anywhere in our area, it has been at least 5 years since we ate at one. My husband and I were greatly, and happily surprised when we came across one in Howell, New Jersey. It is a combination KFC, LJS restaurant. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the prices were excellent! Our shrimp dinners were brought to our table in a timely fashion and the portions were very adequate. Everything looked delicious, that is until we tasted it. The shrimp tasted nothing like shrimp; it tasted like we were eating only breading! The french fries and the hush puppies were barely warm. We couldn't figure this out since as I said, our dinners were brought to us quickly. The only thing that tasted good was the cole slaw. The fare was nothing at all like we remembered it! What a great disappointment!!!!!

i really wanted to let someone know what a great experience my family and i had at your crossville, tn store yesterday, friday, june 8, 2012. my sister, another friend, my two daughters and myself were out on a girls day out. we were tired from shopping and such and went in to grab a bite of lunch. the staff was so friendly, the store was very clean and the food was exceptional!! the manager came out and gave my daughters the little pirate hats and even came back a couple of times to check on us during our visit. this is such a pleasant change compared to our last visit at this location. keep up the good work!!!

My wife and I visited Long John Silvers in Conway Arkansas at 5pm on monday 4th June. Should have left then when we saw that there was no-one else in the store. We did not see any staff at all for a few minutes. The floor needed sweeping very bad. Our order came up very fast and the fries were cold also the fish was cold. The slaw tasted very nasty,and we couldn't eat it.A menber of the staff asked if everything was ok, and I said no and told him about the food being cold and the bad taste of the slaw. He never said anything and just walked away. We left half of our food and left. I do not recommend this store and will not be eating there again. If I could, I would not give any stars to this store.

nasty place to eat. Food is usually good but the filth takes your appetite away. This store is in Clinton, Oklahoma. Eating places near by very busy, Long John Silver was not. That should have been first clue. I would not recommend it to anyone with a weak stomach. Takes very little soap and water to keep a place looking appealing.

Only giving one star because there is no option for zero stars. LJS in Leavenworth, KS Needs help! I usually go to LJS about 2x/year. Every time I think it's got to be better by now, but it never is. I went there tonight, waited for 5 minutes before someone greeted me on the speaker. Waited a total of 22 minutes for order, 2 cars ahead, both had incorrect orders. Heard the employee apologizing a dozen times. Wasn't surprised to find our order was also wrong. Wasn't given a receipt, no napkins, no plastic wear, no tartar sauce or any other sauce. Poor, poor management and total lack of training. Shame on corporate...Please train your employees how to run a profitable well run business. Tonight was my last visit, it's not worth the frustration or money. I'm taking my business elsewhere LJS!

What kind of service novena have? ? I pay what i order, but yet they still can miss out food that i have order. Disappointed !

We stopped trying to get properly fried fish at the Peach St. LJ's location about a year and a half ago and are still having ups and downs at the nicer 26th st. location, such as today. Both restaurants seem to treat delicate fish like they're frying hamburgers and end up over frying the fish to the point that the piece ends up about half its size, dry and chewy...sticking in your teeth. I don't know how this company plans to stay in business. We emailed the owner of the franchise when we got home today that we'll boycott them for one month and come back in June to see if there is an improvement. If not then we will not waste any more money at LJ's. and blank them out of our minds as a place to go.
