the LJS in snyder, tx has had NO air conditioning for over a year!!!! with temps over 100 degrees all summer, this is not an apealing choice for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the air conditioner IS a necessity in Texas!!!!!!!!! Please take care of this!
Montrose CO A&W/Long John Silver's is usally so delicious - but today we received different french fries with our fish order. I asked the mgr about it and he said all Long John Silver's had to have these french fries. . . BIG MISTAKE - they were not good. Too thick - the other ff were so perfect! Please go back to the original ones.
Whats so hard to tell the diffrents between fish and chicken we order chicken because fish puts me into the hosptil i took a bite and guess what it as fish i called the store in Pratt kansas and talked to mangerment after her smart mouth and said they did nothing wrong i informed her i be on the phone monday with my lawyer and will be if they cant tell the diffrents between the two then made they need to go back to school ...DON'T EAT AT THE PRATT KANSAS L.J.Silvers i wont be treated with disrespct from my children i will be damn if i take it from some manger !!!!! I will make sure everyone knows they put my life in danger !!!!!
I was eating food and noticed a piece of hair in my cole slaw and brought it to the attention of the manager. His comment was, "wow how did that get in your food, we all have on hair nets". This was not a good experience. Not because of incident, more so for the way the manager handled it
My husband and I have been going to Long John's for over a decade, and I don't think we will ever return. The dining room was filthy...two clean tables in an empty restaurant. The girl at the counter called herself Escense...she was the essence...of bad customer service skills! Totally rude to everyone that approached the counter. We waited 15 minutes for our food and it was terrible..the fish was fried so long it was almost empty inside. I took 1 piece up to explain it was unedible and before I could even say anything she blurts out "You gonna have to wait." and walked away. Then when my fish came out she handed it to me with her face turned and stomped away. But at least I was "entertained" by the off duty manager and employee in the 1st booth talking about how her husband was a piece. In all... terrible experience on every level. DON'T GO TO PLAINFIELD AVE LJS...YOU'LL BE UNSATISFIED!!!!!
We had take home the other night. When my wife go home there was a total of thrity two french fries in all three order. Most of the fries was shorter the 3/4 of an inches. My inlaw also ate there that night and said the same thing about the french fries. If you need more money, CHARGE
On July 2, 2011 We went into Long John Silvers in Seminole, Oklahoma. Noone spoke to us except the person that took our order all she said was the total. Got 2 Meals and 3 A&W Root Beers (which they where out of and didnt bother to tell us when we ordered). 25 minutes later we got our food we were the only people in the place when we ordered. Didnt get shrimp had to go back up there then she handed me 3 cold shrimp and told me the rest would be out when they cooked more. Went back to table, french fries cold, clams were not done, and hushpuppies burnt. Went back up there and told them I wanted my money back and I would not be eating there anymore. The manager on duty AMY wanted to argue about it. Told her I wasnt going to argue with her and she said Im not going to argue with you either and I informed her she was. Asked for the corporate phone number said she doesnt have it. Asked her for the owners phone number didnt know it either. Asked her if it was in the office she said no. dont believe you would let your employees not give out the complaints to your boss. Did I mention that the place was dirty too. The kitchen was a mess flour on floor, food, etc. just dirty wont be back at any of them.
This is about your TV adds for Long John Silver. Who is the DORK in the adds? Who is the bigger DORK who approved the add? Are you all trying to say to the people what a dorky co you are? Why are you calling your own co a dorky co? Can't you all make a more respectable add for Long John Silvers or are you just going to keep insulting people? Do better or stop putting such a low grade add on TV.
we just traveled 38 miles to middlesboro, ky from lafollette tn...at the long john silvers to eat after shopping, normally we get good food at this restraunt, but today, it was awful, we left without eating anything we purchased...we just left 22.00 of food sitting on the table .....we will not be going back unless we are refunded our lost money.... what we need to know if we are not satisified with the food ...can we ask for a refund????
Visited a Long John Silvers in Durant, Oklahoma yesterday and ordered a 2 piece fish meal to go. I didn't think I needed to check my order before leaving so I drove home which is 10 miles out of town. When I got home, I opened the box and it was an entire box full of crunchies..no food at all. I was furious because someone had knowingly put those in there and knew it wasn't food much less a meal. Drove all the way back into town and brought this to the managers attention. All she said was "I'm sorry" and wouldn't help any further. She was rude along with everyone else in the place. I will never go back to any Long John Silvers again and by the looks of this website, many of your stores will be shutting down due to absolutely pathetic quality and service.
On my last -- and I do mean LAST -- visits to Long John Silver's I guessed immediately that the chain had recently changed ownership. Suddenly the breading was thicker than the fish inside. And the fish inside was , at best, half the size it had been previously. Actually, I did try again: I visited a different location. The result was the same. The meal was poor! Now I know why. New ownership -- dedicated to providing poor quality in an effort to maximize profits at the expense of the customer. Sad. I hope a significant competitor will arise to take advantage of the shortsightedness of the current ownership. If one does, it will doubtlessly put Long John Silver's out of business.
I want a long johns in my town. I live in seneca falls ny can you please build one for me. I think you would get lots people to eat there. I ate at the one in geneva ny since I was a little kid but you closed it a few years ago I want my chicken back!!!
We usually get the family treasure chest when we visit the Long John Silvers in Tyler, Texas. Today when I ordered it I was told that I had to have ALL FISH or ALL CHICKEN and could no longer get a combination of the two. I was told that this had been changed not too long ago. My children do not like fish but my husband and I do so the combination chest worked out great in the past. I am very disappointed that this option of mix/match is no longer available and may be a deal breaker as to our going back again. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK TO THE MIX/MATCH OPTION!!!!!!
My experience with this company was horrible the worst customer service I have ever experience in my life, by the cashier Janiece, P. I called the store today to ask why I have not received refund coupons on an order that was messed up on Good Friday 22 Apr, 2011--today's date is 28 May 2011. On Good Friday there was a disproportionate amount of customers ordering fish so the problem wasn't really service related simply the quality of the food, which was basically inedible, but easily resolved. Today I spoke with the manager Tony, and he told me he did not know why they were not mailed out but if I still had my receipt he could get me meals but not a money refund. I told him that was fine and that I would be in today. When I went into the store I asked for Tony, he was on the phone so it took about 10 min to come to the front, he told Janiece, P. to take the order and that he would have to ring it up once I was done. During this time Janiece was extremely rude throughout the rest of the time I was there. I said thank you for your help and told her first thing I wanted which was the new Ranch meal right away she told me my total without asking if there was anything else I wanted. I told her I was not done with my order she then rolled her eyes and sighed at me. I asked a question of how many chicken strips come in a kids meal and she said "uh, one" in the rudest way possible, I said sorry just did not know how many it came with, since it seemed to bother her that I asked that question. Once I was done with the order she gave me the total and I reminder her that Tony said he needed to ring it up to take off the $30.00 credit once again she rolled her eyes with a sigh called for Tony saying "Tony he wants you again". She was just about to start making the four Root-beer floats that I ordered but then went to the next customers in line and took there order instead. Another person wearing a black shirt just like Tony started to make them. I asked Janiece if the two meals that I ordered come with drinks as she said in a snarly way "yea" with a very frustrated look on her face, she then pulled out two cups and slammed the on the counter right in front of me. I know that people have bad days but this was ridiculous. When my order finally came, I asked for her name and thanked her for her help while extending my hand out she looked at me up and down and just gave me the ugliest face and did not want to shake my hand which is fine so I just told her sorry if your having a bad day and thank her again for her help. Because of this I did not want my family to eat the food that was made in fear that the employees would have put something in the food or spit in it. I went outside for a little bit while my order was being made to give my wife and kids their root-beer floats and drinks, as I came back in and sat down I over heard Tony saying to the employees the next time someone complains they must bring the food back no ifs and buts. I have had two bad experience there at this store, first with the food, and today with the worst customer service I'm sure I've ever encountered. I would have to also say that the Root-beer was very flat and taste horrible. Stay Away from this place...
My family and I went to Long John Silver at 169th, Hammond Indiana serve was good but the mens restrooms where nasty and smelly. I hope someone in corporate will do something about my boys could not even use the restroom because the smell was terrible.
Came into an empty restaurant in Towne Lake GA, not greeted promptly, cashier couldn't answer questions and made us wait forever just asking others the price of something that wasn't posed on the menu board, Completed order at 9:21 & was told it would be abt 5 minutes. 25 min's later still had no food, Mgr said to me "I made that order maam!" I pointed to the table where my family was sitting showing him that we hadn't gotten our food yet and he just stood there like a bump on a pickle...Anoher cashier then proceeds to tell me, "yeah you just shouldn't come here on Sundays". We left w/o our food 30 min later, angry and had to go somewhere else to feed my family and get them home. We were appalled at the way we were treated and shared with that cashier that the service (or lack of) that I get shouldn't depend on what day I come to the restaurant! The whole staff there was USELESS, uninformed and unprofessional. A lady came in from the drive thru line b/c she said she had been sitting outside nearly 20 minutes and a couple who was there before us complained too and asked for the owners phone #. This was a HORRIBLE experience, and I will never go back there!
To Whom It May Concern: My husband and I went to your store in St. Peters, Mo., on May 4, 2011 and we tried to order the $10.00 Meal with 8 pieces of fish, that is your TV Ad . This store had this special before Easter for a long time. We purchased many times. During lent we were told, not now, but about Easter it will be back. And, sure enough it was. So we drove 32 miles one way to purchase our fish, and extra's, as we always do. We were told that this store is not doing the special. No reason, why, just because. We drive 64 miles round trip to get our fish, and not to get any for the second time was to much. Therefore, we ordered other food and left. My husband insisted that I contact Captain D's and they do honor all of there company's special. We have to go another 10 miles round trip, but what the heck, with the price of gas and the fish at least we will get what we want. This AM I contacted Chuck at the store, he apolized and was very nice. Said he understands, and hated to loose us as a customer. He also, mentioned that he had many other customers that were displeased with the no special. Not his fault, but he did understand my thoughts, and sorry to hear we would not be back.I told him that I had told other friends and family members of what happends and he could add another 10 to 12 people to his list of people not coming back.I told him I was going to notify your company,and I hope that someone will have some kind of an answer.The man thats owns so many of your stores in Missouri, refussed to do the special to help promote your company. Bad Business, for you and him. So, I might not enjoy Captian D's fish as much, but to drive that far, I will go there to get what I want, when I want it............Sorry, Long John Silver, we are out of here, and never to go back to that man's store.
I was at the long john silvers in fort worth at beach. i had just seen the national ad for the 10 dollar fish meal that day on 4/28/11. They said they would not honor the deal but I could have chicken for the same price. when I said I wanted the fish they said I could have it for 5 dollars more. How is this possible. How will you stay in business treating people this way.
I got dinner for my family at the Pio Nono Ave store in Macon Ga. The manager Patrick was wonderful he makes you want to vpreturn. The whole staff is great and the food was fresh hot and good.
To Whom it may Concern; To Whom it may Concern; In Lafayette, Indiana where having extremely hot weather, 95 to 101 degrees (F) everyday for the last week. I ate at the Teal Road resturant a week ago and the air conditioning was not working, knowing any thing mechanical may malfunction, but I ate my lunch in a very uncomfortable setting. Saturday evening, aweek later I elect to eat at the same resturant, and still no air, I feel this is unexcusible, I only ate a portion of my dinner and left because it was so hot.
