I was disappointed with my shopping experience with Lane Bryant located on Bear Valley, CA. last evening on 11/4/11. I thought the Manager was rude and dismissive with any questions I had. The clothes I had picked out...and I thought were in the dressing room became lost when I had started talking to another sales person.(They were place back on the Closthes Rack) Thank you to the Sales lady that did help me. The Manager and her other friend just kept talking about how many days the Manager had been working. When I went to check out the counter was cluttered, the sales person ask her manager if she could use the register, the manager said no. She ask if she could use the other register and after a pause finally said yes. There was no need for this passive Aggressive Behavior. Oh by the way, My Husband said I better not leave the magazine in the bathroom. "Good Porn Material" his statement, not mine!

My local store always provides excellent customer service! They go out of their way to make customers happy. I have enjoyed shopping online as well, and when I had to call customer service regarding an issue, they were very accommodating. There's a wonderful community on the Facebook page. I enjoy interacting with other women regarding latest fashions and sale tips. The Lane Bryant moderator always does a wonderful job of remaining objective despite having to field some very negative comments. 5-star fashion and service. Thank you, Lane Bryant!

My issue is the clothes are more expensive. The career selection is almost non-existent. They stores seem to be not so plus sized. What happened lane bryant? Your loosing your customer base.

a few weeks ago I was in the Springfield Mall Lane Bryant store. I had my newborn daughter and my senior citizen grandfather with me and did not have time to try any clothes on. I used my Lane Bryant CC and purchased over $200 in clothing articles, I then used a coupon that got me $75 off. Unfortunately when I got home and tried the clothes on, they did not fit. I returned to the store 2 days later to exchange the items, however, they did not have what I originally purchased in my size. I decided to get different clothing items, and I did try them on this time. The new total was more than the original total, however I was told that they could not take the $75 off this time because I did not have the coupon in my hand. You could plainly see on my original reciept that a coupon was used, and the employee even remembered me. There was also a stack of these coupons at the register; yet, they still would not honor it. Needless to say, I ended up walking out without any clothes, $75 is a lot of money to save. I also have tried to call the corporate office on several occasions but got a machine that noted if I left a message, it would be returned within 24-48 hours; not one of my calls were returned. I love the Lane Bryant store, and I am a loyal customer and credit card holder. I think it is a disgrace that the original coupon would not be honored and I am disgusted with how rude and inconsiderate the employees were to me. At this point, I do not know if I will ever shop in a Lane Bryant store, or a Fashion Bug (I am also a cc holder there as well) again.

I am amazed at all the horrible experiences with Lane Bryant. I guess I have been very lucky. My interactions in the store, online, and on the phone have always been very positive. There isn't a store within a 50-mile radius to where I live in Wisconsin. When I was in Duluth, MN, over the weekend, I shopped at the Miller Hill Mall location. I was greeted promptly and politely. I was greeted again by another associate a few moments later. I was carrying my jacket, which is a similar style to one that LB sells. I was asked if I wanted it to be held behind the counter to be paid for later, and when I explained I had purchased it elsewhere, I was apologized to profusely for the mistake. Most of my shopping is done online, and an associate asked me if what I was wearing came from LB. When I explained that it was last season's shirt bought online, she complimented me on how nice I looked. It was a wonderful, uplifting experience. I have also visited the location in Woodbury, MN, and had excellent service there. That is the store I go to if I need to return something I've ordered online, and the associates there are wonderful and helpful.

Does your company review your own Facebook page?...and the reviews of your facebook page, the way some of your customers are attacked and your moderator doesn't do anything about it! ??? NOT good for your company, you are loosing many customers!

My husband and I were in Baybrook Mall in Friendswood Texas. I was very surprised to see a large advertisement poster placed in the store window deplicting a group of young women partially nude from the waist up. This is totally inappropriate in a public mall where young children, teens, and families visit. Please reconsider your advertising campaign that nudity is OK. It does not prompt consumers to visit your establishment. It leaves a negative impression.

I was looking for work. Applied at the store in Phoenix, Az at the AMC center on the 101 and 27th Ave. When I turned in the application the manager was nice and seemed to be interested in hiring me. I called twice before there was an interview set up. I wore a nice pair of slacks, and blouse with low heels, no jewlery, or makeup. The manager told me I looked like I needed to be in an office not a chothing store. I had dressed the way I was taught for an interview. She told me I looked afull. That I needed jewlery and more style and to do something with my hair. The manager told me to come back in three days for another interview. Because she said that if I fixed my hair and everything else, she would give me a second interview; I bought new clothes, had my eye brows done, nails done and redied my hair. When I got to the interview the manager was not there andb I was told that she was not at work that day. I was also told that there were several other women with interviews today and that she did not come in for any of them. I feel her attitude was unprofessional and unwarented. My outlook is that if you do not wish to hire the person dont tell them to go change a bunch of stuff and to come back for another interview, simply tell them you are not interested and not play mind games or waste money they do not have. To me this is bad buisness.

I was in my local mall today in Hickory,NC and noticed an ad in front of the Lane Bryant store, which also happens to be in front of the area where the child ads are. It was women in blue jeans, with no tops, standing with the arms over bare chest. I have never been so outraged while standing at the mall to have my child, who is a 4 year old boy, exposed to such filth!! I cannot believe our local mall has allowed this or that Lane Bryant would put such a brazen poster in the mall where children are. It's one thing to post it inside the store, but it is right on the main drag for everyone, including children to see. Shame on you Lane Bryant!!

I walked into the Lane Bryant store in the Lodi Outlet Mall in Burbank Ohio tonight and have never felt more unwelcome or embarrased walking into a store. My fiance and I got no further then the checkout when the older lady in that store stopped us and wanted to know who we were shopping for, I told her myself. She then told me that I would find no clothes in that store in my size and basically made us feel like we should turn around and leave. She said the clothes were for plus size women and wanted to know what size that I wore. I have never been stopped by someone when I walked into a store and had them wanting to know what size I wore, because apparently I was in the wrong store and couldn't possibly find anything in that store to buy. Even though there was very pretty purses, shoes and jewelry I could have looked at and bought. I wouldn't recommend that store to anyone for any reason. Nothing but rude people in that store.

when i recieved my lane bryant sales catalog on 9/13/11 with five nude waist up females all snuggeled together like lesbiens on the front cover I was as a christian very offended. this is not the type of advertising i want in my home and i hope a lot more of you women and men will protest this and decide not to shop at lane bryant as well as fashion bug it is all the same corporation.i would not want my children to find that in the mail box. Lane bryant and fashion bug should be picketed. I suggest it be done on saturday 9/17 at !:00p.m at all locations ladies and gentlemen with families please join together and picket and let them know this is not the way to sell clothing. this looks like selling sex.

lets all picket the stores this saturday sept 17 at 1 pm let them know we dont want that kind of sex rated catalog. it is not appropraiate for the home or office. they have to answer to God for what they are doing they are using sex to sell clothes. I will cut my fashion bug AND LANE BRYANT CARDS UP AND SEND THEM BACK. I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN UNTIL THEY PRINT APOLOGY AND PROMISE TO USE RESPECT WHEN SELLING CLOTHES.

I was shocked, annoyed, and disgusted when I received the September 2011 L.B. catalog in the mail introducing the Tighter Tummy Technology. 5 women SEXILY preening and showing off jean pants and naked bodies from the waist up. Has the LB advertising management gone the way of pornography just to attract readers to sell pants??? I hid the catalog immediately not wanting my grandsons to see it. Altho I'm sure they have seen more and worse, but it is embarrassing. My husband doesn't need to be "glancing" at half naked women either. I really thought LB had better sense when it came to morals, but I guess not. $$$$ means more than a decent catalog cover. I am not in the minority, there are plenty of moral adults who will be upset with this picture, they just may not have the guts to write you and complain.

I have shopped with Lane Bryant for MANY years, love their merchandise and have always been treated respectfully and with great assistance always. I recieved your Sept. 6-Oct. 2 catalogue and was not impressed with the nudity at all. WHY does a respectful company like Lane Bryant have to stoop to this level in advertising? All you have accomplished with me is to loose me as a customer. I don't want my grandchildren seeing this laying around my house so I trashed it. It's time to take a stand for what I believe in moral conduct and you have not met my standard at all!!! I will not shop at Lane Bryant anylonger.

I was outraged to receive the Lane Bryant catalogue in the mail today. On the cover were topless women holding their breasts. Why??? I refuse to accept this form of "soft porn" into my home. I am so disappointed in Lane Bryant. Plus-sized women are beautiful, but they don't have to take their tops off to prove it. I will be requesting removal from LB's mailing list, and canceling my LB credit card.

How on earth can you think what you put on the front of the magazine this month was ok?? I was very shocked at what I saw and Lane Bryant just lost my business. I don't need to support a store that puts that garbage on their magazines. I could think of many more ways to showcase your jeans than having topless women hugging eachother!

I was at the Arcadia, Calif. store yesterday looking at jeans, when a young salesgirl approched me and said you look like a size 18 or 20,I said no I was a 16.First of all, a salesperson should never assume a womans size, especially a plus size gal. Then she said something about me sweating, about how I was "working out".I was thinking about purchesing some undies, when she rush over to ask if she could help,I said no thank you.First of all,I can pick out my own underwear. So needless to say I put them back and walked out without a thing.Lane Bryant needs to educated their salespeople about correct customer service.I used to like Lane Bryant, but I will not be shopping there again.

To Whom it may concern, You offer todays woman many great choices in plus sizes and styles at a fair price. Women across america rave over your products. We in California (a high populous state) feel the need for perhaps a few more stores in the Ventura and Santa Barbara areas. We recognize that with the current economy and legislative issues here, that you may feel apprehensive about opening another store or two, but that's exactly the reason why you must do so. The demographics indicate that these areas have a larger female population that would be likely to purchase your products. The real estate prices have never been lower. Corporate america is waiting for the last best two quarters of profit before they will make a move, but it is the wise and prudent that will benefit most from the previous downturn. I will be happy to obtain for you with the latest demographic information for these areas for your company to review. I have a personal friend that works for your company in management that I wish to help out and feel that she is very well qualified and capable of heading up your future stores in Ventura and Santa Barbara. I will disclose her name to you when the time is right and if you decide to place her in a managerial capacity in one of those future stores. Meanwhile, I will help you if you like with site selection, demographics, real estate, etc. Companies benefit when they accommodate their existing employees and help them with promotional opportunities. Please let me know if I can help Sincelery, Cuno Wiederhold 11118 Coachlight Ct. Bakersfield, CA 93312 email: treygo@att.net

I will never shop @ Lane Bryant in smithfield commons ri again. I am waiting for the Better Business Bureau to open to file a complaint. I bought an outfit there on friday afternoon to wear to a very important occaision on saturday night. I tried it on at home for my husband and daughter and both shook their heads and said no no no. I returned to the store saturday morning in a panic, ( I now had 4 hours to find something) but they wouldn't return my cash without my license. I didn't bring it with me I rushed out that morning with 30 dollars in my pocket intending to get my refund and head to another store. The woman admitted that she remembered me but said she couldn't even give me a store credit without my license, and then she started questioning, "did you drive here? without a license? what if you had been stopped?" As if I was lying! I don't understand what my license would have proved, I paid cash, had my receit, tags still on clothes, and was there the next morning. I left there had to drive a half hour home get my wallet and half hour back to another store to shop for a dress. I will never shop there again and I will tell anyone who will listen how unhappy I was with Lane Bryant. I don't believe it's legal to insist on a license for a cash refund.
