I was very satisfied with the one-on-one attention from the sales associate, Kalonda, at the Lane Bryant in Southaven, MS. She was very attentitive and honest with me the entire time. It has been several years since I have visited a Lane Bryant store and having her there made me realize what I have been missing out on. Keep hiring honest and helpful people. She really knows her stuff!!
I have been a Lane Bryant customer for many years, I was appalled by the recent treatment I was given by customer care associates linked with the Lane Bryant Credit card and with store associates in reference to my credit card. I recently went into a Lane Bryant store and specifically asked what my credit limit was at the moment. I went in with the intent of purchasing only one item that I needed, I was told my limit was $200.00, my mistake was that I assumed the associate was giving me accurate information. I went home and discovered that I only had %50.00 in available credit and had went over my limit by %68.00. I was furious! When I called in to credit services the associate's mantra was that I had "no credit availble to make purchases". When I spoke with a "supervisor" they informed me it was Lane Bryant's policy to allow customers with "good payment history" to go over their limits. Do not worry, there "is no finance charge". It was dirty business and a dishonest attempt at higher sales and bigger profits. There is no over the limit fee, however, there is no compensation for what this does to my credit report. Going over the limit has adverse affects on the big credit picture. The fact that Lane Bryant allows and encourages their sales staff to be dishonest is unsettling to me. Lane Bryant has lost a customer and this customer will for sure tell others about LB's dirty business practices.
6525 Hwy. 6 North Houston, Tx.Supervisor Lauren approached me at the clearance table and stated all shoes were half off the marked price and said "very good deal". The shoes I picked were both marked 12.99 on each shoe. When ringing up shoes they were 10.00. Lauren stated the shoes were marked wrong apparently because the computer says 9.99. I stated you informed me that the items were half marked price. She asked did I want them or not. She then said I can sell them to you for 12.99 but not half off. I asked If I can check online and she stated, "if i want to but she has to charge the price stated and stated it was nothing she could do for me. I was upset because she is the one that stated the shoe was half off and this was the only shoe of that kind on the table. I stated I will purchase the shoes but I felf that the marked price should be the price of the shoe. NOT ONLY THAT BUT THEY WERE BOTH MARKED THE SAME PRICE ALONG WITH ALL OF THE OTHER SHOES ON THE TABLE. I am a long time customer but very disappointment with experience. Will not return to this store.
After being a loyal Lane Bryant bra customer for years I have found that due to them changing the manufacturer the bras dont fit me properly anymore. The band on the bottom is cheap and stretches out and the cups are not made well. Thats really too bad since I loved the bras there. Sorry wont be shopping there anymore.
What does a woman have to do to get help at your stores??? I went in to your Stonewood store in Downey, CA on Wednesday, August 14th to purchase bras. As I entered the store the "sales rep" was on the phone and the other one was in the back. After 5 minutes of waiting to see if she'd end her conversation, she call the other girl out and handed her the phone. This went on for another 10 minutes. Neither one of them had the courtesy to end their phone call nor ask if I needed help. What happened to customer service??? Needless to say, you don't have a rating of minus 5 stars. THIS IS BEYOND POOR SERVICE.
The women in the store were anything but helpful. Not to mention the opened up 20 minutes late and I had to feed the meter extra money.
The real women dollar offer they had was a complete scam!!!! After spending so much money, they give you a womens coupon worth $25.00 to go back on another date to use.. So I spent the required amount and went back the dates the offer was good. Well after waiting in line with my purshases she the women told me I had to SPEND another $50.00 in order to use the coupon I already spent money on and EARNED...needless to say this is a huge rip off, nothing on the coupon ( that is actually readable with the naked eye, or the signs indiacted that it was only another coupon to use not "real Dollars" BTW several stores do this promotion honestly stores like KOHLS and Sears have these offers ALL the time with no strings attached. What made me more upset was not one but two responses from the customer service department I emailed said that they did nothing wrong and that the way they ran the promotion...Thats fine but good luck to them if they want to keep loyal customers to go to the store...six months later I still have not and will not go in a lane bryant store..learn to keep your customers happy, they PAY YOUR BILLS!!!!
Lane Bryant, Roosevelt Filed, Garden City, Long Island, NY: I'm a regular customer of Lane Bryant and after my recent purchase, about a week later, I received a letter confirming my enrollment in "Account Assure", a program that would make minimum payments if I'm unemployed, disabled, etc. for a whopping 1.99% per $100 balance on your account. I never discussed this with any store employee, or was aware of this surreptitious enrollment. They took it upon themselves to do this highly unethical, fraudulent action. If you carry a balance, I do not, this might cost you upwards of 24% on top of the exorbitant interest charges on the card. I called customer service and got a runaround suggesting I call the store and discuss it with them. I think this goes to a higher level and is endemic to the way they do business.
I love the clothing you offer. They stand up with wear and washing and look great. Today I read that Sarah Robles represented the USA in woman's weight lifting, at the Olympics.. She is having a hard time paying for her training and was getting by on $400.00 a month. She shops for her clothing at thrift stores and has always had to struggle to get by. Her mother said she is a very determined young woman. What a great opportunity to help someone with such spirit and drive. Could you think about sponsoring her and giving her some opportunities? I would love to see her model some of your clothing.
I always shop the Rancho Cucamonga, Ca location. They always have the most helpful associates. There are 3 other Lane Bryant locations close to my home. But I feel most welcome in that store. The sales girls are always friendly & helpful. It's a fun experience to shop. I usually spend around $350 everytime I go in there. The displays make me want to buy the whole outfit. I feel sad because I've been shoppiing there so long & now I'm down to the smallest sizes available. Other stores don't give out coupons as often as Lane Bryant. I'll just try to maintain my size....Lol...who needs to be a size 4 anyways! You guys rock...Love your California Bunny!!!!
I was recently at the lane bryant location in joplin. missouri. what an amazing experience. i was greeted by short hispanic looking woman who was able to get me everything i was looking for. she was funny and sweet and just made my shopping day amazing. even the outfit she had on i had to have!!!! i am so impressed to finally see a bilingual woman working there. i heard some horror stories about that store and their customer service. but to be honest here, having that lady attend to me was just wonderful. they definitely have my business for as long as she works there. if you ladies are out there in joplin reading this i think her name was kristina or something like that. look for and tell her karen sent you!!!!
I have to say for the most part I have always had a pleasant experience while shopping at Lane Bryant stores and when problems have arised they have been taken care of in a timely and professional manner. Recently I noticed that some of your fashion pieces are not as trendy, hey look at me, I'm a plus size fashion diva as they use to be. Please try to bring back that very appealing fashion taste your company got us accustomed to. I really love your store and would love to continue to be one of your best customers. Also, a big request, please consider adding smaller sizes to your line as I am losing weight and I'm truly dissappointed at the fact that now my choices seldomly fit me. Know that you make women very happy with your fashion statements!!! Keep up the great work:)
I went to Lane Bryant in East Brunswick, NJ last Fri and made a purchase for over $500.00 worth of clothing. When I brought the clothes home and really tried everything on again, I noticed one pair of jeans were not very flattering on me. I put the jeans in the bag with my receipt and went to return them. I was "greeted" by the manager from hell, Carrie. Miss Carrie is about as warm as a bucket of ice. She did not want to take back my jeans because somehow the tag fell off (although the jeans had all the other tags on them including a thick cardboard like large tag with the size and style of the jeans right across the back). I told her last week the girl rang them in manually, but she told me no way. Then she gave me a long lecture about their return policy and stormed off to get another pair of jeans and did me the "favor" of returning me my whopping $25.00! Then she insists on having my phone number and drivers license to return $25.00 to my Lane Bryant charge card. No other stores demand to have my phone number and license? She flat out refused to do anything until I provided this information. I WILL NOT return to this Lane Bryant store or any other Lane Bryant stores for that matter. Carrie needs some serious training in customer satisfaction and a little smile could help too. Her icy greeting and demeanor left me wanting to run out of the store. Hey Lane Bryant, with all the people out of work in America, do you really want someone like Carrie working for you and scaring away your customers? I opened up a charge account last Fri; I will be closing that out as well.
I have never had a customer service complaint. My complaint is that LB does not carry the popular Balconette bras in 36 C or D in store. I am puzzled why you do not keep this size in stock? Even it is limited to basic colors. I work for a company in which I have since recruited 12+ others to this particular bra either due to compliments and asking what bra I wear and/or "bra talk" among the girls at lunch. 8 I know of wear a 36 C. Myself and 5 others are not plus size women and shop here strictly for bras. I discovered this bra by over hearing a lady while getting my nails done. She was plus size and spoke of how comfortable it was to the the nail tech. What conversations us ladies have. LOL. I immediately went home and looked online at the bra. The next day I went to the store to try it on and was told they did not carry it but could order it. How disappointed I was! Balconette won me over after I got it. Straps and cup stretch out quicker than other bras I have had for this price. This is my only complaint. Love the bra fit and comfort before the stretch though! Amazing...
I recently ordered 2 swim tops online and to be shipped to a local store. After receiving shipping confirmation that said they would arrive on or around the 26th I was patiently waiting. Well the 26th had come and gone....Needless to say it is now the 3rd of July and I am still without my tops or a refund! I emailed and got a response saying I have to wait 21 days to get a full refund or I could buy the tops at the same price as I did before...Really?! So I then called and got the same run around, even asked to speak to a supervisor...Yea that didn't happen. So I called again only to get a very disrespectful man who called me a liar and then hung up on me!!! Seriuosly, what is wrong with refunding my money or sending me the tops free of charge? Don't really want to shop there anymore, but I have a gift card...damnit!
I am a regular customer at the Potrero Hill San Francisco store. Today I had a VERY unpleasant shopping trip. There was a mother with two wild young boys who ran around the store, fought with each other, yelled and cried, and did not pay any attention to their mother or the store sales clerks when they were trying to get them to sit down and be quiet. It was plain ridiculous. The only reason they did ask her to leave was because she appeared to be spending a lot of money. There was also a new male sale clerk, who was overbearing to the point of making me want to never shop there again when he is working, which I won't be because when I do see him in the store I will walk out. I would have shopped more but dealing with the 2 brats and the sales clerk was too much! I doubt I will be returning to the Potrero Hill store.
I returned some merchandise for my wife and failed to take the receipt. Thus, the amount of refund, which was placed on a merchandise only card, was less than half of the price we paid. End result: we have to pay full price that remains on my wife's Lane Bryant credit card and use the merchandise card. The amount of money Lane Bryant gets is therefore three times the amount on the receipt (which we found). Far as I'm concerned, Lane Bryant is very very shrude and borders on illegal tactics in order to make money. They got us this time but never never again. Corporate whines and crys "we can't do anything" all the time. They forget that what goes around comes around, but we'll never go back.
I purchased a bra there 2 weeks ago and washed 1 time and stretched out a size, the threading is hangng from it.I decided to make sure it is the right size and it was ,Even the lady Lane bryant told me it would not lose it shape,That was my 2nd time shopping there and getting the wrong information. I will not go and shop there again,it will not be a strike three for me.
I was shopping in the Layne bryant store in Joplin, MO and when i went to the bra section one of your employee's came over to see if i needed help and told her what i was looking for, due to the lack of supply of bra's in my size she said to go find someplace else to shop and did not know where i could go so i should deal with what they have in the store. This is not the first time I have had this kind of insult in your store, If it was not due to the Tornado that joplin had a year ago I would be going to a different store. If you are going to change your line of clothing size's then don't call it a plus store anymore as you are not making Bra's or clothing for the plus size women. This will be the last time I ever go to a layne Bryant Store. Get better sale People who know what Customer Service is.
Lane Bryant is losing me as a customer online and in-stores once and for all. Last time I ordered online I had to make a return to the store in North Olmstead OH and the manager made a snide comment to me that if I would have purchased my items in the store I probably wouldn't have had to return them - but she was so wrong, unfortunately their store is so poorly stocked they never have my sizes. And this last order I got online was to have 4 items of which they shipped 3 of totally the wrong things, instead of bras I got jeans and other stuff. So called, got case number and waited for UPS to pick up the package, OF COURSE THEY NEVER CAME because the CSR who helped me didn't complete the case, so I requested a supervisor, wasn't going that route again. Of course this time it would be OK for me to take the wrong items back to a Lane Bryant (exact opposite of what I was told 5 days ago) and they would credit me immediately. Or I can wait another 5 days for the next pickup day from UPS! Go figure, they keep their hands on my $ so I can't go spend it at another store. I am so ticked that once and for all I have washed my hands of their stores and affiliates. I would rather spend more $$$ at a more costly store, get good service, better quality, nicer things, maybe less of them or go naked than give them anymore of my hard earned dollars. This company is set up to fail but because they supply the plus sized and our choices our limited they stay in business and don't deserve to.
