LA Fitness Corporate Office & Headquarters

I'm reading all of your negative posts on LA Fitness centers and it miffs me to think our "new center" in Garland, Texas is going to get all-filthed-out like you're all saying. I bought a Premier membership from Ballys in '95 and was recently told, LA Fitness was buying our 30+year building and so we would have to transfer our membership to LA Fitness or go across town to Dallas to the nearest Ballys. Like a sheeple i transfered. But fortunately the old building is still maintained sorta decent/clean. The new center is being built about 1/4 mile from the old one, and won't be finished until July '13. Y'all ought to get together and file a class action suit, maybe then "corporate" will get off their arses (lol) and "clean-up-their-act". :)

New gym in Commack,NY is dirty. Machines are not oiled. New Manager is young man who I have approached about these issues and nothing is done. I am worried since the club just opened 6 weeks ago.

I join L A Fitness on the 26 of February I paid 90 bucks in cash then I paid 70 on the 1st of march. and my membership was 80 a Month.That's wasn't the agreement I agree to the 160 down payment,but my membership dues was suppose to be 60 a month i talk to the manager Steve and he told me to bad. & when i talk to a sales rep at another facility in Oak Lawn he said he could do the same and my monthly dues will be 30 a month. Downingtown, PA - What a disaster. Broken equipment, dirty, crowded, inept staff. Have been trying to get some of my money back to no avail. LA Fitness is the worst gym I have ever belonged to. UGH.

We have excellent spin instructors at our facility. It would be an excellent business decision for the LA Fitness Company to replace the worn out bikes with new ones. With that update, classes would be 'packed out!' (Greenfield Rd. Gilbert AZ)

I opened a gym pass to LA fitness and my experience so far has been horrible. I'm definitely switching over to 24 Hour fitness. Customer Service was awful, they treated me with no respect cause I was younger.

I usually go to LA Fitness in Broadview, Illinois. The facility maybe close to 2 years old. The gym has wonderful classes such as Zumba on Monday nights, Step Aroebics on Tuesday nights, Cycling, etc. However, the customer services at the front desk is horrible. I blame it on poor managment, because when I asked to speak to the manager, he was more unprofessional than his staff at the desk. I have had at least 50 or more people to join this particular facility because of the classes; however we are considering leaving because most of us have had some type of experience with this gyms' poor customer service and managment.

I just move to this area north Bethesda maryland. LA Fitness is few minutes walking from my home. I signed up for a year and was happy that my gym club is so close to me. Unfortunately I found out the club is under very poor management. It's dirty, ( specially pool and jacuzzi ) the classes gets cancelled all the time without any notice. People coming to class make the self ready by bringing dumbbells, mats, steps and waiting and waiting but the instructor is not showing up. That happened many time to me this past three month I joined the club. It's realy a shame that such a wonderful location and huge nice new place with good equipment but running so poorly. I hope they do something about it.

I am currently searching for a gym and LA Fitness was in my top three, but I haven't seen at least three good reviews from multiple websites regarding LA Fitness. I now believe from everyone's reviews that LA Fitness is not the place for me. I can't believe that - from the reviews - these places are still in operation. Word of mouth can be beneficial or detrimental to a business, and in this case its detrimental.

I'm currently a member at the Wilsonville, OR location and I'm ready to leave this smelly place! The staff is rude, the equipment is outdated and the club is dirty. Why don't you invest some money into this outdated place....a ventilation system? The staff is rude and we never are greeted when we enter or leave. The manager here is rude and thinks he's above everyone else.

I was offered a few free personal training sessions took them up on it was told by the trainer that if I wanted more then they would charge my credit card for what I wanted and I could cancel anytimeI got sick was un able to use the banked sessions I had they would not cancel as they said I signed a 1 year contract in which I would never do as I am a busy mom and In my masters program.

LA fitness has no customer service skills nor cares...management and company take advantage of individuals.

Your facility at 11520 South Marshfield Chicago,Illinois 60643 is in a terrible state of cleanliness. The mens locker room is dirty at 5am in the morning which means it is not being cleaned at night. The emloyees you have there for clean up maintenance are working out/excersising instead of keeping the facility clean. Lack of paper towels/disenfect spray Exct. Please rectify A.S.A.P

I pay for full access to your center. This Miami Center located off south Dixie high way, has become very restrictive, areas of the center are now under lock and key. my family will no longer be a member to your facility, furthermore my cooperate office will be informed of the poor business practice now being implemented.

I've been a member with LA fitness for quiet sometime now and each year the cleaniness of the place gets worse and worse. It is now to the point to where I'm looking around to join another gym. I have went and looked at other gyms and it is not even comparable how much cleaner these gyms arm. The men's restroom at LA smells like stale urnie. Many people that I know at the gym feel the same way as I do. I do not understand how management could let a gym come to this. Overall, this place could be very nice if it was well maintained.

All racquetball courts have anywhere from 10-30 lights out in each court. I've brought this problem to management, but it goes in one ear and out the other. We got your money so we don't care. Livonia, Mich.

I left my old gym because the group that I am involed with left, I had no choice but to leave with them, bad move. LA Fitness is a scum hole. It is nothing more than a cookie-cutter, corporate sham. Nothing gets done, they are real smooth talkers, kind of like paper shufflers, you know the type. The gym is filthy, weights everywhere, trash bins overflowing with trash, racquetball walls with holes in them that send your ball into another direction, gum stuck on pool walls and on machines, lousy music and non-stop "STUPID" LA Fitness commercials, enough already with your canned ongoing lying nonsense. Wake up morons and clean up your act...all you care about is your corporate bottom line.

I attend the Centereach, NY club. This club opened July 2012. In six months, I seen this club slowly degrade from a clean well run health club to a disgusting, dirty, mismanaged club it is today. I have been going to health clubs all my life and I never seen a health club fall apart as fast as this club. The bath rooms and showers are dirty. The machines are slowly braking one by one and I noticed no attempt to fix them. The waste paper baskets are always full so members have to where to put their garbage. And, here is the icing on the cake that compelled me to write this. I was leaving the facility and just happen to look thru the glass inside the aerobics room and saw a LA Fitness worker smoking. There wasn’t a class at the time. This club is slowly going down the tubes.

The men's washroom at the Steeles and Kennedy location in brampton has been disgusting the last 2 occasions I've gone. Urine puddles surrounded the 2 to 3 foot area around every urinal. There was dirty tissue and toilet paper littered around the change room and even a used band aid. When I complained at front desk, the response was "yeah, we get a lot of complaints about that. "

Bally was bought out by La Fitness. The most accessed clubs to me were closed down. No La Fitness refuses to refund me my money. All of the other clubs are totally out of the way. I just want my money back.
