LA Fitness Corporate Office & Headquarters

My husband and I are members of the LA Fitness on Southport Rd (Indianapolis In.) Not sure what the night shift crew does but we go in at 5 am and the place is an absolute mess. The sauna has been broken for over 3 weeks now and I like to go in the sauna for a few minutes a day... Please fix it. You are quick to deduct our money out every month but getting stuff fixed around there seems impossible.

I haven't even started my membership yet and already it is a disappointment. Any business starts from the top down. It is apparent that these execs don't have a clue as to how to run a business and what it takes to satisfy people in this industry. I signed my husband and myself up at the Leesburg Virginia location but it hasn't opened on time so I received free passes to the Sterling location where both my husband and I were hassled. I went last night with my temporary pass and was treated rudely by Joshelain. I didn't work out and just left. I'll likely cancel and go back to Gold's gym. Once they have your money... that's all they care about!

I tried to cancel and now they are saying I didn't cancel and are trying to charge me for extra months. I would never recommend anyone go to LA Fitness. What a JOKE!

My family and I are members of LA Fitness in Casa Grande, Arizona. This club has very, very little responsibility when it comes to them opening on time every morning at 5:00 A.M. The majority of us that attend the center at 5:00 A.M. we usually have to be at work by 7:00A.M. so we depend on the club to be open on time so we can get a good one (1) hour workout in and be out of there. There have been numerous times where no one shows up until 5:20, 5:30, even 5:40 A.M. There is so much turnaround of personnell at this center, it's just CRAZY...we hope you all can get the correct personnell in there so they can open on time...ALWAYS. Thanks.

I am so disgusted with LA Fitness in Farmingdale, New York. Since my 5 year membership, the gym has gotten totally filthy. It's very rare to go into the bathrooms to find toilet paper. The showers are even wore. There is hair all on the floors. I don't even think I would have my dog bathe in their showers. Ever time I have to freeze my membership there is a big problem and I get charged the wrong amount on my bill. My son canceled his membership and it took months of phone calls to resolve the monthly payment. Now we were told that the aerobics room will be closed for 10 days to redo the floor. I am getting sick and tired of this gym.

After joining LA Fitness in Chandler,AZ I was very pleased with everything with the gym. until recently when my 18 year old daughter was approached by one of the trainers about using him as her personnel trainer.I have spoke to this guy a couple of times before and told him that because of our schedule work/school neither she/or I could afford or commit to his services.When I was not around he continued to approach her evertime she would appear at that facility.Until one day when he verbally told her not to be affraid of anything that he would help with her work out program and that it would cost $30.00 per training session.And he could help her three times a month and to try it out.She was told that he had a form to fill out and that he needed her cc# and that this was month-month program and she could quit at anytime.Well that turned out to be bulls--t.We have found out that he slammed her with a one year contract and beacuse of her finances and her class schedule she has no time to use the gym or his program.also she does she have the funds to continue or to pay the huge cancel fee thay are trying to charge.This whole thing has been a total disaster with no help from local management.

Note!!!! this is the second posting today about the same Farmingdale NY LA Fitness Club. The place is a mess, it would be cleaner if one janitor was not sleeping in the mens locker room, and the other janitor would stop talking on his cell phone and clean. The club has been without Hot Water since Friday, I was told, by Anthony club operations manager, that the local club cannot get in touch with the corporate management to get approval to pay for the needed repair, this answer is just unacceptable in business in the year 2010. I also went to the Lewisville, Texas location and was greeted by two rude kids last week. One was an individual, Kayla, who just kept repeating that she was a General Manager, yes and I am sure the Titanic had a Captain as well. Very rude young lady who has an awful lot to learn about business etiquette. Her accompliice, a young man by the name of Anthony was even more rude than the Manager and kept interupting our discussion to make a point in a conversation that he was not even involved in. As I was walking out, one of the members said to me, do not pay any attention to this kid, he gets more excited playing around with the sound system in the gym and making noises on it. I just tried speaking with the D.M., Larry Lopez, and mysteriously, Kayla kept disconnecting me. What a ripoff and I am glad that I did not join.

So mad at this company. I was bullied into personnal training and now after presenting the management in NJ with a note decribing my impending back surgery, which I had this past Friday. I was told the note was worded wrong and I would not be released from my contract. Are you Kidding???? Are these people now doctors too. The training stincks as does the people who run the culb. I have no other alternative but to contact the BBB of NJ

LA Fitness have very poor customer services due to inexperienced staff with misplaced priorities. The club in Mill Creek WA and Everett WA should be restaffed with individuals that know how to treat members with dignity and respect.

I joined LA fitness three years ago with a group of people in Dallas, TX. I was told by George Canh, sale rep that my group membership would be 99.00 a year after three years. The other people received the 99.00 year and I did not and was told that I would have to pay 299.00. I have asked for the Vice-President, Larry Lopez to call me but as of today he had not called me. LA Fitness reminds me of Bailey -ripped off. I want the president of LA Fitness to call me.

Less than a star --- really ... I wonder if corporate is onto the fact that the image for their business is in the tank --- I work out at a gym in Texas and will take by business elsewhere as the staff, especially training staff is rude, push and condescending ... even some of the class instructors have some sort of high and mighty attitude problem. I've had better experiences with car dealership and salesmen. The trainers cornered me to sign up for personal training and said these words: "You are fat. If you do not sign up for help to lose your obesity problem, you will be feeding your kids from the couch someday." These are same trainers go around the corner of the building to smoke. I think the JANITORS at this gym are more friendly and work four times as hard. Waste of time, money and energy being mad. Just have to get out of it and get into a better environment.

Needs Under Cover Boss T.V show so that the CEO can recognize the issues that need to be dealt with. In order to be at the corporate office and big time executives everyone needs to kno the company from grounds up and what is really going on in the business because its essentially not the CEO's who are running the business its the workers of that company who work their tales off. I would put a floor level employee in charge of a company way before some of these CEO's we have at current company's and industry's. Just my thought tho

My boyfriend and I signed up for LA fitness, we were members for over a year with no issues until we had an encounter with a staff member named Lisbeth Pagan. She was extremely rude when we had some questions about adding other members to our account. She continued with her attitude towards us each time that we came to the gym until we finally asked her for the number to corporate and to speak with a manager. She refused both. We are no longer members of LA Fitness. She is the most rude staff member in this gym. LA Fitness, Hunters Creek, FL

What's with the ban on FoxNews at the Fort Lauderdale location? I received 3 different bogus reasons over the course of my 3 year membership. I discovered FoxNews on 6 different screens at the Boynton location 2 years ago. Can't believe you let children employed at the local branch take childish decisions like this.

I went in to the LA Fitness on Signal Butte Rd. in Mesa Arizona to sign up my boys, because they like to go play basketball and workout. Well with the high pressure of the Manager to top it all off. I signed up my whole family, because they said I could cancel at any time. Then they set you up with a personal trainer for 1 hour, so I went. Well, Gilbert, the trainer, used his sales pitch to talk me into training. He told me I could cancel anytime I wanted to, just like my membership. Well I worked out with the trainer, who knew everything about me, like I hadn't worked out in several months. He worked me really hard and did things that really hurt my knees while I was doing them. Well my knees started hurting more and more so I finally went to the doctor today. I have a torn meniscus, thanks to that Trainer. So I went in to LA Fitness today to cancel my membership, which they did. I also want to cancel paying for training that I have never used. They want me to pay for 6 months to cancel. Mind you, I already don't have a membership there anymore and wouldn't be able to use the training without that. I am going to talk to an attorney. LA Fitness lied to me, and then caused major injury to me.

I am totally disgusted with how difficult it is to contact anyone with any authority to remedy an ongoing problem at LaFitness in Parsippany, NJ. The problem is that the swimming pool heat has been well below the safe temperature for swimming since May, 2010. As of this date, November, 2010 it is still not repaired. Since I mainly joined this club for the ability to safely use the pool, I am frustrated, chagrined, and feel cheated. Yes, I can drive 45 minutes one way to find another club, but should I or anyone else have to?

I took advantage of my free training session after signing up with the company. I fully disclosed my injuries - 3 protruding discs and fibromyalgia. He assured me that he could help me, even stating that he could be of more help than my doctors. Ha and ha. The next day, I could not get out of bed. If I did not have on hand the pain medications that I have, I would have ended up in the hospital. That's how bad the pain was. For the next two weeks, I had to use a cane just to get around my apartment. I could not stand up straight and, of course, I could not take advantage of my gym membership. When I was finally able to return to the gym (just to swim, mind you), I requested that I be given two weeks credit on my account. You'd think I had asked for a thousand dollars. I was told that my account was frozen or some such jibberish and there was nothing they could do about it. I was never given an apology and any compassion whatsoever. Do you think I should advise my attorney, as I was just following doctor's orders?

LA FITNESS CONGRESS AVENUE BOYNTON BEACH FL. I joined LA FITNESS 3 YRS. AGO AND ALL WAS WELL . THEN DECIDED TO GET SOME PERSONAL TRAINING SO I SIGNED UP AND PAID $$$$$$$$$ CASH FOR THE YEAR! I HAD SOM HEALTH ISSUES THAT LATED LONGER THAN I HAD THOUGHT ALSO FUNDS WERE LOW SO I WENT TO THE MANAGER TO DISCUSS MY ISSUES. I ASKED HIM THAT IF I WAS TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP COULD I ONLY USE TRAINNER AND NOT BELONG TO THE GYM HE SAID SURE NO PROBLEM YOU PAID FOR TRAINING MIND YOU FOR 1 YR. WORTH NOW THE ARE TELLING ME I MUST BE A MEMBER ( WHAT THE BLEEP} IS GOING ON HERE????? IS EVERYTHING A RIP OFF IN THIS COUNTRY???? BECAUSE I WAS ILL AND DOWN ON CASH THEY ARE TRYING TO STEEL MY MONEY.$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
