I am a member in Allentown, PA where I get treat questionably. Your people produced a contract which I never signed. Now they are wasting my time telling me they are getting their facts straight before they do anything. Here are the facts. They insinuated that I understood and signed a contract for private training. The GM was supposed to call me yesterday but, instead he asked a subordinate to do it. That employee didn't contact me. His excuse is, well I told him to contact you. What leadership program did he attend? Apparently not the same one I did (USMC SGT "85"-"91"). I want a phone call. I don't want to hear any more lies and bogus information. i want to be treated like the good client that I am. Make believe I have skimpy shorts on with a skimpy top. I have been with L.A. Fitness for a year now and I am seriously considering terminating my membership. They have extremely bad customer service, staff is not professional and lacks knowledge. Trainers eating Carl's Jr. on the gym floor, yes I did report it, but when I went to a different location I found the same thing. I am not satisfied with this gym and it's a very sad thing as a consumer, because this was my first "gym" experience. If you are looking for a gym to go to I wouldn't suggest l.a. fitness to any of my friends or family.

I was just diagnosed with a fungus I got at the LA FITNESS in Allentown, Pa! I am very lucky I realized what it was, and went to the doctor immediately. The manager just brushed me off, when I called to tell him. I know these issues can happen anywhere, but many have told them, including myself, on previous occassions when there was dried blood on the class room floor, for 4 weeks! Very sad that the employees took no responsibility for the safety of their members.

I have been reporting the same machine (one of my favorites) as having a missing spring. Ihave reported this same machine four times, to the same employee for over 4 months. They told me they had the spring and the guy was coming in that day and would fix it. That was a couple of months ago. I also got on a bike today and had to report it as broken and they came and got a number but did not put a sign on it. There was another machine with an "out of service" sign on it and my wife who also goes there told me of 2 or 3 other machines that were needing service. I used to see a guy in there probably every week or two maintaining these and never see him anymore. If you can't maintain your equipment, people will go elsewhere !! P.S. Just so you don't think I am just a complainer, nice job on the remodeling of this location earlier in the year.

I am satisfied with club itself. I enjoy working out. But I signed up for a personal trainer and could not afford it and when I tried to cancele it I was told I would have to pay 50%. I would have fallen for that, but in going through some other financial situations I learned that there is a law called the Fair Credit Billing Act of 2003 where you can not be billed for services that have not been rendered. It is against the law. So I am fighting the payment that LA Fitness just took out of my checking account. And plan to win as the are breaking the law.

Hi For 7 years I have been a member, at first with my wife and children, then a trainer disrespected my wife and she left with the kids. Yesterday I found a Racial yerk that told me in a very disgarceful manner that I could no have my gym bag with me, because people was stealing thinks. While I understand the point, what I don't understand is that she let others with their bags, people in cycling that use weights and basketball players that use the weight room and also her friends in the floor I quit my membership and have 30 more days, I have few witnesses that will check with me this unfair practice adn I will take your business to court. I workout at Alafaya Gym in orlando Florida.

La fitness is not gym I inspect they r ripoffs there r better gyms u can join. They will take ur money even if u try to cancel they will still get in ur pocket

turnersville la fitness has the most outdated equipment i have ever seen. it is not kept up well at all. it is a real shit hole compared to the other ones in the area. the manager is so dam cheap with the supplies that they were handing out toilet paper to wipe there hands because they were waiting for the truck to bring the paper. how are we to sanatize the equipment by peeing on the equipment & let it air dry. i started to complain at the front desk but she already knew about the situation. i just said that this place is run by butt hole management. you can't even keep the instructors here to do the classes because you have closet cases working with the management. i can't wait to see the corporate big wigs come to see this place. they should just shut it down. this place should be condemned. all they care about is pushing the membership and taking the peoples money.

LA Fitness in Peoria Arizona for the last two months has had twenty machines out of order and no repair or replacement has been made. Upstairs there is one life-cycle machine that works. This is a facility that replaces managers every month it seems and nothing is ever done.It seems as if once a manager suggest some repairs he is replaced.

i used to work for customer service for lucille roberts, back in the days and listening to irate customers talking about how they robbed money for technicalities in the contract, wether it was a dishonest worker or not canceling on time and charging for many years...etc. La fitness is not much different i see; i logged in their website to complain about the sauna that has not been working efficiently for a few months and after various complaints to the club, still no fix. their website is even worst, if you like to contact them (thinking it would be corporate office), it would take you to the club you go to...... defeats the purpose. Company all they care about is your money and the rest is just whatever.

I am writing this post to express my extreme disgust with LA Fitness. My wife and I both attended LA Fitness in Coral Springs Fl. My wife was sexually harrassed by a complete SCUM BAG trainer who goes by the name of Junior Pineda. This harrassment was so extreme that my wife has stopped going to this gym and now has to travel 10 miles from home to work out instead of 1.5 miles from our home. That's not the worst part, when we contacted the gym manager & the corporate office, they promised us it would be handled. (SURE) We went back to the gym a couple days ago, and sure enough that DIRT BAG is still working there. These people dont care about anyone!!! This company is just waiting to be sued by someone. They allow trainers like him to prey on young women, basically stalk them and they do NOTHING about it. TO ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING JOINING THIS PARTICULAR LOCATION: I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU CHECK & SEE IF HE IS STILL WORKING THERE BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR WIFE OR EVEN WORSE, YOUR DAUGHTER TO THIS PLACE!!! It would be just as bad as sending someone to work every day with a SEXUAL PREDATOR!!!! I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this guy Junior is a registered sex offender...

Trying to cancel a membership is like pulling teeth!! You don'y have to sign a form and send it off to get get a membership, why do you have to do that to cancel? LA Fitness is a big scam and they need to be shut down!! They don't care about taking people's hard earned money. I brought my husband a membership for his birthday last year and I regret it!! To make matters worst, I found a Corporate number only to be disappointed by an out of service tone. Their should be an easier way to cancel. Tried to print the cancellation form from the website and still nothing. Better Business Bureau needs to know about this!

At the La fitness in Walpole, Ma we cannot get a hot shower! For the past 2-3 months it is a crapshoot as to what the temperature will be when you take a shower. I've called & they are "working on it" or they say it is because there are too many of us showering....Can you beleive that one? Gee, I'm sorry, I won't take a shower today.....There were about 6 women complaining this morning and talking about going elsewhere, I'm thinking of it as well.

I joined LA Fitness and then immediately had a bad financial cash crunch, I couldn't pay them for a few months, when I finally was able to get some money into my account they took it all. Screw LA Fitness

I signed up for L.A. Fitness worked out for 3 months. I had got an injury to my hand which needed surgery so I asked them to freeze my gym membership till further notice. I took off 4 months. That whole entire time they were taking money from my account. They are not refunding it. They over drafted my bank account. I DO NOT reccomend L.A. Fitness for anyone. I will never ever go back!

Well here's my story. I was thinking about switching clubs from 24hr to LA Fitness. The Lake Forest,CA location feed me the BIGGEST line of bull I have ever heard. I was told that if I don't sign up immediately, the pricing was going up. The GM has no authority to waive the initial membership fee. OKAY - that's crazy! Every club in OC is advertising "free" no initial fee. Read the OC Register people! Tried tricking me into training sessions - 1st $50 per session. OH>>>now it's $40 but it you committ to 1 year now only $30. Month to month....yea...whatever! Who's monitoring this membership team people. UGH! Yeap...can someone say "used car saleman" mentality. Think I will go to Gold's Gym.

LA Fitness Ft. Lauderdale on N. Federal Highway - This club is so dirty and the equipments are old. They don't spend much money for cleaning or maintenance. They also allow drug rehab people to use the facilities during the weekday and weekend. I don't have problem with the rehabs, but the gym is already overcrowded as it is.

I was called in for a health assessment and had a small work out. After my beat down, he lewered me in for a series of work outs for $150. knowing i was tired, he got me to sign a document not telling me there was a $413 draft fee. Over a week later, I checked my bank account to see i had funds to make my truck payement. I saw a removal of $413 from L A fittness. i was upset and curious. I called the next day and talked to David. I explained the situation to him and to see if i can cancel the workout sessions and get my funds back. He told me he coud not give the funds back due to i sign a document even though i had not started the workouts. Now im left with no funds to make my truck payment and probably get taken away. awful gym. i got sexually harassed by the trainers! the paper towels/toilet paper are ALWAYS empty, even in the mornings, while the cleaning lady is chatting away in the bathroom. this does not change.... ugh. terrible, do not go there!
