I wish there was a better fitness near me. So LA fitness in Stamford will realize how bad they are and improve the service. Here are what LA fitness in Stamford offered: 1. The sale manager/sale team drove my 2 friend away from being pushy, annoying & BS. I have 2 friends that were under my VIP list and were going to be my workout partner but not anymore since then! 2.The classes ALWAYS CANCEL! The staff has no idea and don't even care to let the member know till we push them to find out!(The staffs just busy flirting and chatting) This is all time upset the member who drive so far and knowing that the class is being canceled! 3.The sauna temperature is sick. They stated clearly in the front room that the temp in the room is 180F but they never be! I have to often come down to the counter to tell them. You should know that the sauna temperature should be right to kill all bac. How could you not control that? 4. The instructor of some class is so rude! Making fun the girl in the class, moreover, still brought the story to tell to another class! What's wrong with that instructor? How come not inviting, encourage people to come exercise but drive them away? She only has her mouth but not a brain. I feel so bad for that girl. She must be embarrassing and probably never came back again! I urge any fitness company find this opportunity and make the better service so this Sh...can be gone!

I had a fitness trainer in Stamford Ct who seemed like a great guy. When I was shown the equipment, etc. he was a little inappropriate with me. I was terribly uncomfortable and did not end up joining that gym. I would be aware of the man at LA Fitness in the personal training in Stamford CT. He is tall, dark and handsome, but a little creepy.

Joined the Clifton NJ gym 3 months ago. Since that time, there have been ongoing problems with maintenance, cleanliness, and an overall slovenly attitude by management. The pool and spa are poorly maintained, and dirty with varying levels of chlorine in the pool. The spa has been operational only a couple of days in the 3 months. Toilets are regularly clogged by idiots throwing toilet paper in the urinals, not enough trash receptacles, and an ongoing lack of paper towels. Management seems to be oblivious to these problems. What's needed is some adult management better clean up, and anew attitude.

Just went to Pure Fitness is Chandler Arizona (owned by LA fitness) for my free one hour so-called "Trainer" session with Paul one of the trainers there. He took me through some stupid lunge exercises - then proceeded to try to sell me a training session - I said I don't have the money dude. He kept up the sales assault on me - my girlfriend walked up to our conversation (she was scheduled for his free trainer session right after mine. She watched as this no-neck goon proceeded to embarass, and basically harass me in front of her. I returned fire on him and his boss on how pathetic they were to do this, even as I told Paul to back the heck off - I finally became fed up and demanded my $300 back for my girlfriend's and my membership fees, The manager Chris sat us down and apologized for the trainer's behavior - but never offered us a free month or anything for doing this to us. AS we were talking with the manager, the goon came into his office and started on us again. I am furious with Pure Fitness/LA Fitness. What a bunch of losers (LA Fitness) to train these idiots to assault new customers like this -no wonder so many people quit working out so quickly at these gyms!!!!!

This place sucks!! They sales assaulted me and my girlfriend when we came in for our "free Trainer" one hour session. We thought we were going to be shown what machines we should be using to achieve our desired results - instead had an embarrassing fight with the trainer goon who was trying to sell us a trainer package. I almost had to get up and punch my way out of this sit down meeting - very strange and extremely awkward experience. The manager told us they have had a few episodes with this guy (Paul in Chandler, AZ Pure Fitness) that same day! We thought the manager would have given us a free month for what this idiot did to us - in front of the manager no less!! Nothing exept sorry for that??? What a bunch of losers

The LA Fitness in Frisco, TX has really become a dissapointment. They now play loud offensive rap music All night. They replaced Fox News with the radical CNN. The staff never enforces re-racking the weights. Weights and trash are scattered throughout the gym. I have to leave an otherwise nice facility because of poor management.

As far as the gym floor it seems to be keep up with as far as trash, but the weights are left all over the floors never in the proper area. the locker room is another subject. i have been going to 2 of the la fitness gyms in the north jersey area, both have the same conditions. VERY unclean, garbage all over the floors and trash cans over flowing. the unsetting part is that both gyms are very new (less then 2 yrs old) if this is how the management handles these facilities now what are we as member are we to expect in the future.

We can't get in on Sat and Sunday. No one shows up. 100 people every saturday left waiting at the door. Broken water facets, broken stair ,masters, old ripped workout benches, carpet stains, paint coming off walls. All they are pushing is NEW SUBSCRIBERS. What about their loyal sunscribers. 18 years Chino Hills, CA.

LA Fitness is a joke. My trainer was super nice, however the sales/customer service is NOT. They do not tell you everything up front, and now I am being billed almost 3 hundred a month for something I cannot use, and have told them to drop me from several times. They avoid your calls, and are rude overall. They took my money after I told them i want out, and now my rent and phonebill wont go through, and the guy has YET to answer my calls after a week.

to whom it may concern........please maintenance your gyms ie clean and make sure equipment is working properly / plumbing also water is usually to cold went in the pool and was affraid id get eatin by the polar bear floating on an iceberg in the pool yeah it was that cold...went to gym had to walk through sewage (water with piss and shit mixed in it)in mens bathroom at the anaheim hill gym that was fun im a plumber i know whats in it........bad stuff....my sister and her daughter got thrown out of the pool so that the fat ladys could do their barnyard animal interpetaion of pig swan lake during water aerobics class.......your yorba linda gym we stoped going there because jacuzi was always on the blink and .....one day a gentalmen went into the steam room and the room was maxed out so hot that it would burn you with 3rd degree burns...the man went and told the employees and they did nothing .....?????????/what kinda fucktards do you have as employees........get it together you phillesteens shifty maloy over and out....ps still like the gym though you fucktards.....

LA Fitness - Rowlett, Tx - Hot as Hell!! Someone is going to pass out from heat stroke in the aerobic room. It feels like the heat is on. This is especially true during Spring months when weather changes a lot. Even if it is 55 outside, it is hot as hell in this room with little circulation. After complaining about he consistant problem, I was told that the a/c and heat are controlled at another location. What does that even mean???? How about you have control of the air IN the room you are controlling???

I joined LA Fitness in 2009 and was wondering why the employees at my office were cancelling their memberships. They said it was too crowded and they didn't like it, plus the gym at our office building was cheaper. I was joining due to the locations being close to home and my new job. However, I am so SICK and TIRED of being harrassed by the so called trainers everytime I walk in the door and leave. They act like MaryKay sales people. "What are you working on today". "When are you coming back"...Get the Hell out of my face and ask the people who are overweight and need your assistance. I was told that the overweight people feel like they are harrassing them, so they don't ask them. I am a size 4, how much smaller would you like for me to be. I worked out with one of the trainers just so he could shut up. I left there with my shoulders bleeding from the metal bar of the hand weights that were extremely too heavy. He was trying to impress the people that were watching us. He never asked me what were my weight goals, if I had any injuries and needed to wear a brace or anything. I wear a brace for my knee from a car accident that I had. He never asked. He didn't ask me what was my nutrition diet, etc...They suck!!! After working long days at work and at night, one doesn't want to be asked every day at a gym, what are they working on. I just want to relax. Due to the cost of LA Fitness, it really pays to go to a higher priced gym or club for a peaceful mind and workout.

Was lied to from the beginning and hard-sold. Nobody told me that child-care was $15 extra a month, and a ton of other stuff. When I went back the next day, they made me a "deal" that my teenage sons could use the gym free as long as my husband and I were members. The "manager" who made the deal got fired the next day, and I cancelled my membership. Long story short, I quit, but somehow my ex is still a member even though the fees are drafted out of MY checking acct every month. This is the ultimate rip-off gym... Am going to have to pay an attorney to sort this all out! NEVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!

Hello I am writing because I am truly unhappy today. I am writing because I am displeased with the behaviors of your staff. I started my membership because my husband conveienced me to join. I joined under the memebrship of my husband. I stopped going and my husband said he cancelled my memebership in April 2010 because I stopped attending. I asked him the other day what I would need to do to start my membership up because my life has lightened up so I have the time and the money. I called LA Fitness today and was told that they changed my memebership and took me off my husband's memebership and added me a membership for myself like I started the membership. I have not signed no documents or nothing but they added me and put me on a membership for myself and then charged me without my knowledge. I have never received any bills and neither did my husband. A couple months ago I started receiving rude phone calls from LA Fitness and I kept telling the guy I was under my husband's membership and that I did not know why he was calling me. I talked to my husband and he called LA Fitness and told the guy that the insurance was cancelled. I thought it was handled but obviously not if they took me off my husband's membership and put me in individually. How can they do this without my knowledge???????????????. I need assistance with this matter or I will get my lawyers involved and they can take care of this matter.Also I did not give them my new cell phone number so they must have gotten my number off of my home phone number, I do not know how they got the number but the guy was rude. My problem is not with the Gym I use the one in Denton great place and am still a member. However do not use there Trainning services. I paid a one year contract for a personal trainner. I used it for over a year. when I went to cancel it I was told I had to submit it in writing to the corp office.. I know with technolegy the way it is today they could have canceled my traiining right then with the stroke of a computer key. So I submitted my cancelation in righting in the mail. I had the letter over nighted and with signature required to make sure they got it. $20.00 for postage Just to have them pull the trainning fee out of my account the following month. do not use this service.. It is difficult to cancel and the trainners have their own agenda and will not listen to what you want and what your goals are. And I call the number given and can not get an answer.

I have been trying to contact LA Fitness corperat office the number at the top of this screen does not work.. I have not been able to find a number for my complaint. All I want is them to stop taking money out of my account.. I have canceled my trainning memership at the gym and by mail overnighted mail, They are still taking money out of my account thats stealing stop it..

LA FITNESS in Broward County, FL - Sawgrass & Sunrise locations (not sure about other locations). TOO WARM!!! Numerous complaints/calls to the front desk & corporate from many members - ".... thermostat on green energy saving mode 74 degrees...". More like CHEAP mode, this is not an office building! We pay to work out in a comfortable environment. It's very stuffy upon entering 1st thing in the morning & funky in the afternoon. When we joined it was cooler, now, as of JAN 2011, they're keeping it too warm, not what we signed up for. One works out harder if it's cooler. Also the Spin bikes are in very poor shape. Just for starters.....

The management of LA Fitness and their Fisco, Texas location are absolute crooks. I am now reqired to bring a legal action in civil claims court to recover additional amounts taken from my credit cart account that were unauthorized. DO NOT give them your credit card number, or allow them to set up for automatic billing. They can continue to withdraw payments even after termination. READ THE FINE PRINT IN YOUR CONTRACT! STAY AWAY!

If i had known what I know now I would have never joined LA Fitness I've been working out my whole life been to numerous gyms this is by far the worst gym I've ever been to, lies lies lies customer support what customer support try to cancel your membership it's like trying to pull teeth, try to get the corporate office can't even get the number the one listed you can't get thru take some advice find a different gym.
