LA Fitness Corporate Office & Headquarters

While I had the membership it seem to work out jut fine until I got billed when I cancelled back in March, and since then I keep getting charge. Obviously they make it hard to break but easy to collect up front. I need to cease collection on an account that I closed two months ago.

Oh yes, LA Fitness is a rip off, I canceled with them in January and still I am being charged in May. When I call corporate, I get a busy signal.

I have been with LA Fitness since 4-22-2002. Recently La Fitness bought out pure fitness and decided that all of us that had the same contract for all these years was no longer good enough with out a $5 monthly up charge.I am unable to reserve a racquetball court now where as before I was. So if some member has a $29.00 account to my $24 and wants to jump rope they get court access. Trust me that sh*t wont fly at the Scottsdale, AZ club on McDowell. Regardless of the amount why should a customer pay extra to have his existing account upgraded when all I use is just the racquetball courts. When I asked a manager about the fee it was obvious and she admitted it was a money marketing tool to get members to upgrade there accounts. I had a friend that knew someone that worked there and all future "Possible Members" be aware. All there sign up and initiation fee's are a scam and a way to make more money. The people that don't ask about specials and just having a normal contract at $24-29.99 a month are taken advantage of. The La Fitness staff works on commission so watch your back...

This company should be sued...6:15am and I just received a call from them because of a Credit Card issue. I personally went to the gym, paid them cash to make myself current but they needed my Credit Card number. My CC was at my home 100 miles away and I would not be back there until later in the week....they could not wait...for 3 days I received 37 phone calls. Why, because the sales reps get bonus points for collecting money. Then I get a phone call that wakes me up at 6:15am after I worked until 2am. I'm done with them!!!!

Hi, I'm satisfied with most every thing. My personal trainer is the best, very well trained. 1. My problem is in the ladies locker room. The first thing that wasn't replaced were the blow dryers, and I mean there is not a one to be found. For at least 10 months. 2. The water fountain broke at least three months ago. 3. Now we have no scales to weigh ourselves. Thats been two weeks. Honestly there isn't much left to break and take away. Hopefully this will be corrected soon as people will leave. There is another gym that opened recently called Crunch, people are flocking there. I like LA Fitness and want to see it succeed. I would give a better rating if it weren't for the ladies locker room. The women yesterday when they wanted to way in and discovered no scales. its sort of the tip of the ice berg. Thank You, Penny

Why doesn't La Fitness take supplimental insurance such as AARP for senior citizens? Other Gyms such as 24hr fitness and the YMCA do! Why not?

I went to the gym on Sunday 7:31pm ,and the employee told me they were close but the gym opening hr is till 8pm. They posted a note on the front door " the door will be locked at 7:30 on Sat & Sun". You can get out but you can't go in. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

I work for La Fitness currently. It's the most shady place I have ever been. My boyfriend also worked there. I work front desk, he worked sales. Where I work A person get's fired every three months. If you don't know that when you sign up you get the "corporate package" meaning you get the all time membership there; multi state, guest priv., etc. Well once my boyfriend was first my operations manager is a total *** and told me that no one was allowed guests anymore. Come to find out that he only told me that because he didn't want me to bring my boyfriend to work out with me anymore. So he told me that because he's a *** and a F'n liar. I just found this out today and I will be qutting.

Very rude stuff customer service is poor. I called the corporate to complain. It has been three days and nobody called me back. Steamer room is not working for over a month and bathing suit drier three weeks so far. Avoid contact with personal trainers, power went to their head. They care less for you and Headquarter doesn’t give a damn.

This is by far one of the worst clubs you can go to. No, the equipment is great. However I was sold a box of rocks!!!! They have down right lied to me and all the members that had signed up at their club in Highland park, IL. I was sold our 20+ memberships with the understanding that like the sign on the out side of the building read LA Fitness "Signature Club". After they got my money 2 weeks later they took down the "signature club sign" and told us that it was now just a regular club. What does that mean???? It means, that I won't get towel service, that right they expect us to bring our own towels. Even Bally's has towels!!!! And a number of the class that were on their list when I signed up where no longer available. When I asked the manager to explain why they had totally mislead us when signing up, you could see he had already been conditioned to blow us off!

A complete rip off in the new facility in st pete gave me one total and was billed double got a partial refund did not get the rest specially there sales mg dave just wanted his commision so made me wait till after the first billing cycle finally talked to another person still waiting after the 6th request for my refund that they say is in the mail cancelled!

I live in Anaheim Hills, Ca. and frequent the gym at that location. Beware! this facility is way out dated. The equipment is often broke and in need of repair. You would think LA Fitness would stock basic parts for a quick repair turn around. Repairs often drag out for many days and even so, the repairs are often not completed correctly. The lighting at this facility is outdated florescent lights which basically suck. This gym was once a supermarket turned fitness center if this tells you anything. LA Fitness is expanding their locations with nicer more contemporary equipment however us poor bastards at the older locations are left with the antiquated crap. Hey management, your corporate phone number 1-800-600-2540 does not work! You are also hiding behind a P.O. box. Who do I complain to? The innocent teenager behind the front desk? Please update your older facilities. Try putting some athletic graphics on the walls. Flat panel TV's would be nice compared to those 27" pieces of crap that I often have to squint to watch. Look around.....this is 2011 not 1980.

i was mislead by a sales person to getting my membership. all they want is the money the trainers are useless

I am soooo glad I read your unfortunate run in with this gym. I have a small business and was considering getting my staff memberships at the Rockville Md location. We definately won't take our busniess to this place....

Poor customer service at 2600 Cnon springs pky moreno valley ca 92507,the so csr/personal trainers are clueless they know not to call my job they did it, they call my residence after 900pm this is unethical.we joined open contract in Feb 2011 now keshawn comes up with some difeerent views, he wants a credit card on file after we have been paying on a monthly bases.They talk to people like they are a child.They are out of proportion they think by completing an online course make they swell headed! Also been constantly harrassed with phone calls.

Another story about lack of security in the LA Fitness York, PA location. The only thing worst than being a robbery victim is then dealing with LA Fitness management on their security breakdown. It is clear LA Fitness believes these robberies are simply part of doing business and "too bad" for you if their breakdown in security makes you a victim. Conversations with the police during the robbery report revealed this security breakdown at LA Fitness is routine. In fact it is my understanding these robberies are rarely solved. Given the high probability of success at robbing LA Fitness members creates the environment comfortable to these simple minded thugs. This begs the obvious question, how can simple minded thugs routinely rob LA Fitness members? Simple answer - LA Fitness lacks a commitment to providing a safe environment for their members. Beware of LA Fitness!!

I AM A MEMBER OF LA FITNESS AT SO LAKE MT ZION AND HAVE BEEN FOR O/A 10 YEARS. THE SITUATION IN THE WOMENS LOCKER ROOM IS DEPLORABLE. THE TOILETS ARE NEVER CLEAN WITH A BRUSH THE CUSTODIAN PUTS DISFECTANT IN THE BOWL AND FLUSHES IT. THE LADY WHO CLEANS THE LADY'S ROOM IS RUDE. WE WERE IN THE SAUNA AND SHE CAME IN AND SAID, I NEED TO CLEAN THE LOCKER ROOM. I ASKED WHY ISN'T THERE A SCHEDULED TIME, "SHE SAYS YOU KNOW I COME TO WORK AT 0700" RUDE. I THINK A TIME SHOULD BE SCHEDULED. MANY MORNINGS THERE IS NO TOILET PAPER OR TISSUE. IF YOU HAVE TO GO TO WORK YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO WORK AROUND THE REPAIRS OR CLEANING. WHEN YOU MENTION ANY SITUATION TO THE SUPERVISOR HE LISTENS AND SAYS NOTHING. SINCE I STARTED THAT GYM ITS BEEN GOING DOWN MANY OF THE LOCKERS ARE BROKEN AND HAVEN BROKEN FOR SIX MONTHS. WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH THE DUES? THE MOMENT I CAN FIND A GYM WITH A SAUNA LA IS HISTORY. THERE IS NO ONE TO COMPLAIN TO. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT ABOUT IT? IF THE WORKERS (SOME) ARE REPORTING TO WORK SLEEPY AND WITH AN ATTITUDE MAYBE THEY TAKE A MESSAGE FROM (TRUETTS/CHIC FILET) HAVE YOU EVER BEEN THERE THE PEOPLE HAS THE BEST ATTITUDE I HAVE SEEN ANYWHERE. TIMES ARE HARD PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS. HOW LONG DO YOU THINK PEOPLE WILL BE PUTTING UP WITH SUCH RUDENESS AND UNHEALTHY SITUATION.

Your district manager Lance Yates is God send! I have been trying to resolve a issue with my personal training for months now. I ran into Lance at your La Habra location and he helped me solve my problem immediatlely. You need more people like Lance in your company.

These people screwed me and were rude to me. They basically stole my 55$ application fee and cancelled my membership. They told me I had to renew it, or actually start again. They suck.

Glendora, Califonia has one of the worst place's I have ever worked out. Free weight's are totally trashed, Tread mills mostly all are broken, swiming pool is green, Bike's are all broken, so many item's to list I give up....3 membership's will be removed from this company because of BAD MANAGEMENT.
