I have been waiting for a corporate refund from Kohl's for 67 days! They told me it would take 7 to 10 days! When I call the number I was provided, all I get is a recording telling me to call during regular business hours. I am!!!! Cannot get ahold of anyone. The store in Sherwood, Arkansas, will mot help me. I am due a $200.00+ refund and I feel my money has been stolen at this point! The worst customer service EVER! Kohl's could care less about it's customers.
Question? Would you work for a company that does not defend their associate when a customer is disrespecting and harrassing them? Assistant Store Manager at Hanover, PA store just put her tail between her legs and disrespected an associate even more by wanting to save a sale. An associate had seen that another associate had her hands full and offered help, would she have offered the help knowing in the end she would be terminated? I think not...and where was the help from the assocaite she was trying to help out when she needed it? Customer was rude, disrespecting and harrassing an associate after several times of trying to satisfy the customer while bitting her tongue the associate just had enough and had to defend herself from the harrassment from the customer. Management was called before all broke out, but never responded until the second call and by that time it was a lil to late. This associate had no choice, but to defend herself to this customer (with words nothing physical)and for that she was fired! I understand that customer service is an expectation of retail employees, but as a human being you do NOT deserve to be treated the way this associate was treated by this customer. This customer called the associate stupid, and even egged her to clock out and do something about it. The manager told the associate to go to the office, while the manager kissed the ass of the customer who then acted like the victim. Long story short the associate was terminated. My opinion is the assocaite deserved the respect and support of the manager and the fellow associate that watched all this happen. NO RESPECT FOR A MANAGER THAT WOULD RATHER SAVE A SALE THAN TO TELL THAT CUSTOMER TO LEAVE THE STORE FOR THE WAY SHE WAS HARRASSING HER ASSOCIATE!!!!
Tina Bettencourt. Today my girlfriend was standing in the checkout line at Kohls near Nugget. A lady began yelling curse words at her and saying she cut in line. My girlfriend ( a tiny 100 pound girl) put her head down and said just go in front of me. Although she did not cut in line it was not enough for this lady. She began swearing and screaming obscenities!! This was witness by several employees and the store manager who stood by and did NOTHING!!! A worried patron asked the cashier if anyone was going to do anything....to which she did NOTHING!!!! My gf was so scared she dropped her purse and everything spilled out. While she was picking it up this lady stood over her laughing and cursing at the top of her lungs!! As she was running out the store crying she could hear the cashier and the lady talking about her. WTF? WTF??!!! I called and asked to speak with a manager. A lady answered (did not introduce herself). Instead of being helpful she denied that anything happened. After getting frustrated I asked to speak with someone above her. I then got TINA BETTENCOURT ("store manager"). Tina did not begin by apologizing for the incident. No, instead she kept asking which cash register (mens or womans). I asked, what difference does it make? To which she began to get defensive "WELL IT HAD TO BE ONE OR THE OTHER RIGHT? RIGHT?! Then TINA BETTENCOURT argued with me for ten minutes saying that the store has no liability regarding the safety of its patrons. After trying to get back to the point I apologized saying "I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, I don't mean to be a d**k. (I do not complain about things, but in this situation I was absolutely beside myself, still I felt bad??? TINA BETTENCOURT, instead of addressing the situation, says, "if you're going to curse we're done. I said, when did I curse? You mean d**k? I meant rude. After pleading with her to speak with me and help me resolve this matter TINA BETTENCOURT then hung up on me. Did not say anything, did not apologize for the situation, did not give any suggestions on how to make it better. TINA BETTENCOURT simply hung up on me!!!
I appreciate the idea of kohls cash and realize that this promotion is an added bonus but am frustrated by the wording on the back. It says it may be combined with any other promotion which to me means that I can get 15%, 20%, or 30% off of my purchase and then use my kohls cash to pay for it. After my purchase I realized that the kohls cash was subtracted from the original total and then the 30% was taken off even though I handed the cashier the 30% off coupon first. I was told the computer automatically does this. If that is your policy then fine but don't lead me to believe that I will get both offers. Your wording needs to be changed on the back to read that you may use it in the same transaction as other offers but it will not be combined with other offers. I was expecting to pay $30 and ended up paying $42 which may seem inconsequential to you but for someone on a tight budget that was a big deal. I would return some of the items to pay less but it is a huge hassel to return any merchandise bought when using kohls cash..ive tried before. For a store as large as Kohls I expect honesty not trickery. For a store as large as Kohls I also feel silly writing this knowing that no one will care or do anything about it. Very frustrating.
hello kohl's, it's a good thing merchandise sells it's self. i was hired on aug.23,did the orientation for seven hrs, which was horrible/disgustin the worst i've ever witnessed. the work schedule came out in which i fulfilled diligently for three weeks and still haven't been paid for the orientation. i was told four different stories on how i was going to be paid for that. but to no avail. my next step is new york state labor dept. as you expect i am no longer a kohl's (expect great things employee).regards james crisalli, amsterdam,n.y.
You know their slogan, THE MORE YOU KNOW, THE MORE YOU KOHLS? Well, now that I have found out more about their customer service policy on there so called cash back if you spend so much money, THE MORE I HAVE FIGURED OUT, I WILL NOT SHOP KOHLS. I spent over $170 there on one of my shopping trips, and was told by the cashier that I received $30 cash and %15 percent off my next trip. I found out that the cashier failed to put the actual cash coupons in my bag when I got home. I then went into customer service and proved that I had spent that much, and where was the cash coupons. There response was sorry, they don't know why the cashier would not have put it in the bag, and even though I did spend that much, (which they did see) there system would not allow them to give me the $30 discount which I was entitled. Really ticked me off! There mistake, and I was out the $30 and the discount...
I'm conacting the corporate office to complain that Kohl's requires loyal customers to use a Kohl's credit card to take advantage of discounts. Our household uses cash for all our purchases because we don't beleive in debt. My sister-in-law and I shopped at Kohls together one day and she received 20% off for her purchases when using a Kohl's credit card and I received no discount because I paid cash. I feel this is discriminatory even though I am considered a 'preferred' customer, receive all the discount flyers in the mail and can't use them because I pay cash. Kohl's must be pretty stupid, because 'cash is king' and it doesn't cost them 2% in credit card fees when I purchase paying cash. So Kohl's would rather pay the credit card processing fees and lose money, than save themselves money when customers pay cash. I'm getting ready to boycott shopping there because of this.
Okay folks, I work for a non-profit animal rights organization with international jurisdiction. No, I'm not one of the "kooky-nut-jobs" associated with some other organizations. Simply put, my job is to police & watchdog web-sites, magazines, ads, you tube videos, etc., looking for animal cruelty and abuse of any kind. I also am in charge of our anti-fur campaign. Imagine my dismay when I came across an overly-airbrushed Kohl's ad featuring J-Lo wearing a fur trimmed cardigan. In another equally stupid photo, Ms. Lopez is leaning on a chair with a fur coat draped over the back of it. The caption for the photo even states it is a "fur-trimmed cardigan wrap". I truly hope for Kohl's AND J-Lo's sakes that it is in fact, "faux-fur". I will have to make sure that Kohl's and Ms. Lopez, both have to answer for this clothing made from pain & torture. Be assured, none of these poor creatures gave their coats willingly. Fur IS absolutely a "big deal". All one needs to do is watch any one of our videos on youtube to see this for themselves. It is horrifically cruel and worse, it's completely unnecessary. Especially for "fashion". I encourage anyone who finds this as cruel as I do, to please fax their concerns & complaints to corporate headquarters for Kohl's Dept Stores nationwide. It will and does have a big impact on the horrors of the fur trade when folks speak up for those who have none of their own. The poor animals are counting on each one of us to speak up for them. I am in the process of drafting up a petition that will be sent directly to CEO after 2,000 sigs. accumulated. In the meantime, people can fax Kohl's corporate headquarters directly themselves. The Kohls in Marysville, Washington was hiring for a sales associate job to which i applied for. It came to my understanding that not only one position was hiring but multiple jobs for sales associate. I got a call back and got a interview from Jamie Ingles, which is one of the managers at that department store. At the end of the interview she said and i quote " Not only do you qualify for the job openings but i would like to give you one of the sales associate jobs" following that statment she said, " I will contact you in the begining of next week to step up a date when you can come in and fill out paper work. " I got contaced by a email from Jamie herself stating that she was sorry but ended up finding someone who SHE believes will better suit the position. The email DID NOT, WAS NOT professional at all. I was in such disbelief i was crying and very upset from this outcome.
We have spent thousands of dollars at your store my daughter Shelbey has a closet full of Kohls clothes. However she recieved a many gift cards for her graduation and does not know who gave them to her. When she went to use one the casher said the card was not activated. I talked to a manager and they were not help full at all. So I proceeded to call the Corp. office and to my suprise they were not helpful at all either. I thought knowing someone spends so much in there store and makes billions of dollars would make sure the customer was happy, and send them a new gift card. I guess thats not how you run your bussiness. You know what they say one upset customer turns into thousands. I will make it know and we will no longer shop at khols. Thanks for loyalty.......
I always loved to shop at kohls, however after spending over $200 on my son's back to school clothes i was informed outside of your springfield pa 19064 store that kohls does not hire contractors within the community, I was very disappointed by that. If kohl's does not support the community with employment and I mean good wage jobs ( i noticed ceo kevin mansell likes his 1.3 million plus perks salary but won't support others making not even 10%) can I please ask these companies how much money do you need? I know i would not feel right if i was making tons of money at the expense of others. Please better america buy helping your fellow americans
To the person in charge of Kohl's IT dept. Well, since Kohl's cannot seem to solve my problem and I know that I ordered 2 pair of men's boots along with a floor mat. I just don't know how I am going to pay. I always pay online but since I cannot even sign in it will be rather difficult. I have spent many hours on this same issue both online and on the telephone, yet still it is not resolved. Nothing changed on my end other than upgrading IE 9, I still have Windows Vista on my computer. If I am charged just one late fee or any other effects of my good credit, I will act at that time. I have enough documentation to fill a file. I hate for things to get this far but enough is enough. Regards, Trisha Allen

Today, 8/26/11, I shopped at your Angola, Indiana store for the first time. Upon checking out, I realized I had an expired Kohl's cash coupon for $90! I was on the verge of crumbling it up in disgust, when the cashier called her supervisor over to ask about it. To my amazement, she honored it! You have a loyal, lifelong customer from us and my very large family.THANK-YOU KOHL'S!
the cashier's at kohl's in rancho santa margarita in california are so rude. Her name is Rebecca and she treated me like im so dingy that i don't know a thing about sales. i bought this vera wang capri pants for $14.40 which is on sale, i got a couple pants because i got a $10 off coupon when i buy $30 worth of items. the pants are sizes 2 and 8. when she scanned the size 8, it came up to $19.90 so i cancelled the sale and i went back to the rack and grab a size 10 which is the same style as size 8 and she said we'll the sizes 4,6,and 8 are more expensive because they rarely go on sale. i told the cashier that i just got a size 4 at the kohl's in Irvine, ca that is $14.40 and she just shine on me like "well, i can never justify that" anyway, im not going to that store again, REBECCA the cashier is acting like she is above else. the only thing i can say is those employees in the Rancho Santa Margarita Branch better improve their customer service and i think they all need more training.
I LOVE TO SHOP AT KOHLS! There is only one problem ---- I can only visit your stores in Houston, Texas, Alpharetta, GA, or Summerville, SC when I visit family. The Bluffton, SC area is in need of your services. Tanger Outlets One have just opened up new stores and have second outlet store at Tanger Outlets Two. KOHLS, you are missing the boat! Many of my retired friends have have shopped KOHLS in other cities and have also expressed wishes for a store here. Can't you consider coming to Bluffton, SC? I have a location picked out for you ----! How cool is that? The store was formally GOODY'S, so all you would have to do is move your merchandise in and hire many willing employees. Come on KOHLS, YOU CAN DO IT! It would be very profitable for you!
I was at the Kohl's store in Phoenix, Az. 19th Ave./Bell Rd.. There is an employee there that took a ball away from my son when it was in his hands. We were going to purchase the ball and I had walked away for a minute and he threw it up in the air (not high) kinda playing with it. We all know how much little boys hate to shop. So, she said, "give that ball to me". I didn't know she had taken it till I returned (he was with his dad). Then 10 minutes later, the lazy ***** employee had enough nerve to ask me, I am not an employee, to hang up a shirt that she had in her hand. I was thinking...is she crazy???? Or, am I going to get punked in a second. We left and I won't return to that Kohl's again. Are you serious??? You are asking me to do your job after you took the ball from my son. I was wondering how she actually got hired. She is either really slick or must know someone because, I can't imagine asking a customer to do my job especially, after I was rude to them. Rot in ****!!
I visited the Ontario, CA store today and again had a bad experience with your assistant store manager Meenue. She has been rude in the past and again today. While the polite cashier rang my transaction, Meenue and her helper stepped up to the register and literally pushed their way in to collect cash before they moved onto the next register. Meenue had a scowl on her face as she so often does. I spoke up and asked if they could wait until the cashier finished with my transaction. Meenue said he can finish with me after they were done. She is the most rude and unprofessional retail manager I have ever run into. I asked her assistant if Meenue was conducting rudeness training, because Meenue is an expert at that. The cashier told me that Meenue is always rude to associates and customers alike. How can you have someone like this representing your stores. Kohls has good deals while being treated like garbage at your Ontario, CA store.
Kohls are worst than target I bought a clearance shirt for less than two dollars then the cashier suggest that this shirt sticker price was a. Associate mistake 1.60 but. It should be instead 16.00.
