I made three attempts to purchase a $5.00 game at our local Arroyo Grande, CA Kmart store. On two occasions, the one lone checker was attempting to obtain a price code from customer service on items not containing bar codes for customers ahead of me. I left without purchasing my item. On one occasion I left because there were too many people in line for the one checker. I don't have the time or the patience to wait in K-mart's lines while their poor checkers attempt to find price codes on items that should have been bar coded in the first place.

The reason I rate kmart a 1 star is do to the fact that I went to elkins kmart in weast virgina to purchase a one gallon gas can the same one walmart had but was out of them and walmart was a dollar fiffty cheaper than kmart I ask two ladys at the front if they would price match right off the bat both employees said no didn't even ask what the price diffference was so I asked the to ask the manager they refuse so to me I call that lazy nesse and don't care I may never be back to kmart it anyone feels like speaking with me about this can call 3045915388 ljay studer

I work at a Kmart located at 92545 hemet california and i will honestly say that our store is a pathetic excuse of a retail superstore as we don't have the basic necessities to complete basic freight work. I have, as for most of my co-workers asked for management "Miss Ether" and "matt", to attempt to repair or replace our broken conveyor belts,pallet jacks and place fans into the freight room. to no avail so i will ask for Sears holding to talk to these managers and hopefully fix this broken store.

I am so disgusted with k mart. I am returning all merchandise for refund. Service very inappropriate if I and to tell u it all we Wos be here forever. Manager would not exchange a unfold women's wallet for same. Said has none. So now returning.all merchandise evern purchased

K-mart ran an ad for Athletech men's and women's shoes at 50 percent off making the sale price $9.99 from $19.99. The date of the sale ran from April 24th thru April 30th 2011. I went to my local kmart in Snellville,GA on April 28th 2011 and there were NO MENS SHOES AT ALL ON THE SHELF. The shelfs were all full so it wasn't like there was a big empty spot where the shoes had sold out or something.When I read an ad for men's and women's shoes and find plenty of women's and children's shoes but not a single pair of men's I feel decieved.Further more,I may have understood if perhaps my size had been sold out but for there not to be even one pair of any size at all is frustrating. I wasted my time and energy looking for an advertised item that wasn't in the store at all.

I use to think k mart was one of the best stores to shop at. Not. I have spent hundreds of dollars there. All I wanted was a exchange on a jaclyn smith. Bi fold wallet. I got nothing but a headache an a ripped wallet. Refused to help me. I will not feven shop there again. I promise

Please someone tell me why Trussville, AL Kmart managers do not know what to do in case of a tornado emergency. When I asked they say I don't know. I want this to be evidence that if someone is hurt at this store during this outbreak, when they have been warned that a lawsuit will probably be their next step.

To whom it may concern - I have been a loyal shopper at KMart even after having several bad experiences - this one takes the cake! We have an itme on layaway that was put there last Friday - it has been my understanding that if you advertise the same item with in the "7 day grace period" you will adjust the price - so, I proceed to Kmart yesterday afternoon to do just that - after 45min of waiting at the customer service counter, I was told that the computers had went down earlier that day and they would not be able to assist me with layaway or refund. So, I asked if they could possibly take a copy of my original receipt ((which I have!)) and issue the price adjustment when the computers come back on line - I was VERY RUDLY told "no" that I had to be present to do the transaction. I call this afternoon to see if the computers are back on line, No, not yet - my "7 day grace period" ends tomorrow - then what?? I just can't get the adjustment? I can't believe there wasn't something more 'solid' in place or even a quick resolution to my issue - This will be the last time that I support Clermont, Fl K-Mart - I hope to be able to get the item in which I have on layaway as this is something that I have promised our son but, I am very displeased with the way I was treated and the way this has been handled - seems like all of the folks there are Over Worked and extremely stressed.....Rude, Rude, Rude

I had a problem yesterday 4/16/11 when I went shopping at the "back again" Kmart on 5405 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92105. I did my shopping and paid for my items with an associate (elderly lady) who was very nice. I walked to my car in the parking lot and once I started to put my items in my trunk, I noticed another associate (African American lady with braids) yelling out to me from the store! She went up to me in the parking lot next to my car and said she needed to see my receipt. I was shocked and surprised and asked her why she needed to see my receipt? She explained that a man (associate or customer? not sure) inside said I did not pay for my sodas. I said I didn't know what they were talking about and that the associate I paid with was a female and that she should've asked her! She basically just looked at my receipt and said OK and went back inside. I felt embarrased and upset that she never even apologized for her confrontation, mistake, or attitude. If someone is going to accuse a person of stealing then why didn't she get the facts first by asking the checkout associate that I paid with? She also could've ASKED me in the store and not yelled out and ran to my car like I was a thief or criminal. I called and asked for the manager when I got home to let them know what happened and that it was very rude to be treated that way. The General Manager was not available so I spoke to another lady. I kept asking her if she knew and described the sales associate that went out to my car to look at the receipt and she would just stay quiet and had no answer until finally she said she knew who I was talking about. This lady apologized for my bad experience but not sure if she ever followed up with the associate or General Manager. I have been a customer there since it was the old Kmart to Sears Essentials then back to Kmart. I am not sure if i will be shopping there again due to this bad experience. It's sad that their employees are not better trained with proper policy procedures when it comes to this type of situation. I really liked shopping at Kmart in regards to their pricing, selection, and lawaway/online options but they need to improve in other areas.

kmart store 4743 is not a good place to shop at. you have a rud store manger he talked to his employee rud i think that manger should be fire are tranfair to another store he.do not know how to talked to people even his costumer.i think your store be hole lot better to shop at if you get nicer manger that willing to help people.i will not spend another dime in your store until u get a better crew in your store im .not the only one complained about that store manger.i heard other costumer complain about your store manger.they will not come back in to that store.im doing to spend my money at walmart.he is very nast to the black costumer .

I am a proud hard working employee, who has been the victim of my own stores management. Constantly passed over for tranfer to closer stores to my home. I've been employed with the company for little more than a year. I'm not a salary employee but I'm forced to drive extremly long distances to work, with today's rising fuel prices I'm not in the position to stay with the compay if I dont recieve some outside help from the corporation. I think it is wrong and really disgusting how k-mart has stopped their price match guarantee for prescriptions! Customers were given no notice whatsoever. My prescription essentially doubled in price, making impossible for me to afford WITH NO NOTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Before I used their pharm., I used k-mart as a last resort shopping destination, because the store is old and the selection is terrible. I had started buying many items when I came or my meds, spending an average of $100 weekly. I will no longer be in k-mart for any reason, except to say "hi" to my (ex)pharmacist. I know Im not the only one that will be outraged by this change. K-mart and Sears already seem to be failing corporations and this change will NOT help matters!! hi i bought a pair of boots at kmart in crystal lake they wre dry rot the threads came apart so i took them back and got another pair and they did the same thing so i contacted sears corp. office and got a email back telling me that kmart would get in touch with me in 3 bisness days thats been almost a week no answer so im going to take them back and set the boots on the counter and walk out ive had it with this store and i hope people read this and dont do no shopping there anymore they want friendly to there customers at all they think that s it coming out of ther own pocket and it is not thanks robert

Shame on KMart! You don't care about your customers. This is the second time I have tried to place an order on your website for a Sale item and was told there was a web error. I spoke to your on-line chat who said, "don't worry there is a web error and you will get the price as offered in the Sale flyer. Needless to say 2 days later, I NEVER received an email from the on-line chat person as promised, I called the store, spoke to the people there and NOW THEY WON;T GIVE ME THE SALE price because now it's on sale again but for $499.00 instead of $399.00 I am tearing up my Sears credit card, Kmart credit card, and my rewards cards!!!!!!! If Jaclyn Smith is smart she will disassociate herself from her and I am going to tell her that personally!!!!

I am very disappointed in the fact that you put things in your add and then do not have the item. I wanted a plant stand that was in your add with the picture (two terracotta pots with rod iron (item name Double-pot stacking plant stand - sale $9.99) and I called the K-Marts here in Fort Wayne, IN and in Decatur, IN and none of them had the item. This is not the first time that this has happened. Seems to me that if you are not going to have the items then please do not advertise them. To me this is false advertisement and makes for unhappy customers and in my opinion I would think that you would want to make things available and have satisfied customers.

I shop at store #3517 in MD. The store never has an adequate amount of help and lines are miles long. Also, I have used the Rewards Card since you introduced it and have accrued money on it. When I tried to use the money I was told the system would not deduct it from my purchase. I was told that maybe all of my information is not in the system. I registered on line when I got the card. How can you accrue money on the card if you are not in the system? I am totally frustrated with my whole experience at K-Mart. I have shopped your stores for years, but am disillusioned with the service and merchandise availability at this store.

I am constantly being harassed while trying to shop if I have a rewards card. There's been instances I've been asked four times at the door at the floor and at checkout they will loose my business I'm not going back there again.

Good morning, I am a volunteer for a Pet food pantry. hvpetfoodpantry.org Please look at out site.We are a not-for-profit that helps Veterans,seniors or for some who have lost there jobs, till they get back on there feet. Feed there pets,so they do not have to bring them back to the shelter. We would like to set up a table outside K Mart stores maybe once a month.To ask your costumers to donate food to the pantry.
