I just want you to know I hate your store. I think you treat your employees like CRAP. your prices are too high. Every kmart ive been to the managers have been completely rude and I and everyone I know will never come back. I hope you all go under!

I was in West Seneca Ny store, slowest girl ever behind service desk, which kept leaving!! in the middle of transactions, she was putting returns dow, and stopping to yell across 30 feet to cashiers, making sure they all got their breaks!! Line was so long there, yet girls at registers stood there with no lines!! I waited 2o minutes!! Woman in front of me didn't have a receipt, and left in tears, because she couldn't afford new shoes, the ones she got were a gift, and didn't fit. Tags and every thing! Wal Mart does an exchange no problem as long as tags are on and looks brand new!! K mart needs to value cutomers, and act like they care when people are standing in line so long!!

Past associate. WORKERS COMPLAINT This is a workers review. I would like to start off by telling who ever is reading that i worked for Kmart in whitehall 3643 for about 3 years which is where i loved working there where everyone is professional. I put sometime in sears in langhorne and then i came back to allentown pennsylvania where i got a job at south 4th street kmart 3361 where i worked for over a year and some change. I started off working in the major appliance department with ray higdon where i was fine i started off at 7.65 an hour. Then I the manager Dennis Buchman decided I could be used around the store so I was promoted to garden lead with out any type of raise worked there for a couple months and then got promoted to hardware auto lead without a raise. After that I was promoted to upfront manager with out a raise. I gave in my 2 weeks by a verbal aggreement to store manager dennis buchman. After the 2 weeks they still had me on the schedule. So they took it upon there selves and decide to fire me so i couldnt collect unemployment. But thats not really the issue. Im hereing about what the new starts are making and how much the new front end manager is making at 3361 and i dont think it is fair that someone who is getting paid about 14 dollars an hour which i dont know if it is true but i am good friends with alot of the people employed. The front end lead is related to one of the district managers from what i here. South 4 th street kmart is very unappreciative of there employees and i dont think it is fair that your unloaders of the truck are getting paid minimum wage. i put in over 5 years into the company and still got paid under 8 dollars an hour i was under paid and over worked, and now i cant even get a job through yous again i dont have nothing against kmart but i have something against store 3361 I only appreciate the people who showed me the true meaning of hard work and I give credit to Sandra Vilalobos and Thurston moore. Dennis buchman was very unprofessional while he was working there and really didnt know how to do anything around the store or even run a register. I live in Mt Pleasant, SC and have always been a loyal K-mart shopper here locally. We were moving our son to Columbia,SC today and wanted to get some things to finish up his move. I specifically asked where the closest K-Mart was, as usually this is a positive experience. We were directed to the K-Mart on "Wilcat Blvd" in Columbia. I had gathered up a number of household items, including 2 large area rugs, 2 lg outside door-mats and various linens. I saw a very nice "pub table and chairs" marked with a LARGE red sale sticker $199.99. Afeter asking 3x to have someone paged to help us with the box, a man finally came , asked what we needed. I pointed him to the stack of boxes of the table set I wanted-he immediately torn the sale tags off all four boxes and told me'THE SALE IS OVER, THE PRICE IS NOW 239.99!" IMAGINE MY SURPRISE WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER, AND WAS TOLD "I AM THE MANAGER". I asked his name and was told -Sheldon, however based on his professionalism and management style I'm not sure I even believed that. When he would not agree to give me the price marked on MULTIPLE boxes, I pointed out that I also had well over 300.00 of other merchandise that I would purchase elsewhere if the tagged sale price was not honored. I was told "thats your choice-he couldn't do it". Ultimately, I drove 2 miles down the road to Target where I spent my $517.00 and was treated with courtesy. Your policy to not allow the consumer to order something from the store is ridiculous. I called my local Kmart store only to be told I have to order it on line. After an hour of trying to order a simple pair of rubber boots I gave up. Why can't I just call the store closest to me and order what I need. Studpid and bad for bussiness if you ask me.

I worked at a kmart just recently in hendersonville Tennessee. That was the most horrible place I have ever worked. They dont follow by the rules they make their own. The Assistant Manager is constantly calling people at their homes telling them what pieces of crap they are and they are worthless, what kind of manager is that. The general Manager does nothing but yell at you to do his job he never helps out just points that finger. The softlines Manager is rude,Makes fun of Employes and to my opion is very racist. The HR director is not a very great HR represenative when you go to her for a problem she directs all the other managers in there so they can make fun of you as your walking out the door. I did not feel this was a safe place to work when you cannot tell people that your suppose to trust. I was giving my two week notice in and guess what fired and they didnt tell me a reason as to why i was fired i worked there For right at 8 months and i worked hard. I dont appreciate their rudeness, and sarcasm and all my personal information to be told to all the other employess, I thought we had a privacy policy.Guess not! I hate that kmart ill never shop there or neither will my family as to any kmart in that matter. I will take myself to wal-mart. I went to the store in Huntsville al, to exchange some tee shirts and lounging pants for my brother who just found out he has cancer. And will go into Huntsville hospital 06-01-2011 to have treatment. The young man name Clint was so wounderful keeping us laughing. The store was very hot on a/c people was walking around the store fanning themselves with what ever they could. The young man name Clint call for a manager and 20 min past and still no manager. He called again and 15 more min past, and still no manager. I know that I and my niece looked as if we were homeless off the street. I had just finished working in my yard. But you can not judge people on how they look. The manager came to the customer service desk and said nothing to us she was not caring about the long line and people standing there fanning themselves with the product they were buying. It should have been free water at the door for the people spending their money the keep her a job, and keep the doors open. This is not the first time this store has been hot on the inside. This store is close to my home but I will drive the few extra mile the fill good as aim spending my money. I will never go back and please give the young man Clint a raise.

I was shopping in st.claisvile oh. Kmart. I was with my 4 year old daughter. She seen a michael jackson doll. She love m.j. More than life itself. As a typical 4 y.o. She demdanded i buy it. I told her no she would have to wait, so she did throw a tantrum. So i decided promptly to check out. The cashier had told me if that was her child she would have been beaten by now 3 times. I explained to the cashier that was against the law, and how my child is diabetic, she recieves at least 4 injections a day. And is tested 9 times daily. I think my child goes through enough physicaly everyday of her life, plus she does not get to enjoy life little pleasures as a child such as a candy bar, at the store or a sucker from the bank. I certainly do not think it was okay for a tantrum to be thrown, but i dont think it was okay for kmart to suggest child abuse, especially since kmart does sell childrens supplies. I contacted kmart about my trip and never recieved a response, so im assuming they condone their employees comment.

The Kmart on Jefferson Davis Hwy in Chester, Virginia sucks for the elderly. My mother can't walk long distances. I on the other hand can push a wheelchair but, cannot take one out of my car or put it back because of a bad back. The store I am referring to only has 1 wheelchair, and 1 motor buggy. What's up with that? How can people get around and shop if they can't walk? Surely something can be done. We had to go to Walmart! At least they have buggy's she can drive around the store to shop with.

I go to my local Kmart in Bridgeton Mo a couple of times a week and I do have a rewards card but everytime i go in there i get asked if i have one by at least 4 people. the thing that bothers me the most about this is that you cant find anyone to help you if you need it but they sure do hunt you down when they want to sign you up for something. and then most of the time the checkout person is so rude or worse yet texting on her phone it is almost like we are bothering them. and the customer service counter is a joke most of the time it looks like a kmart employee party going on. and the managment isnt any better they are are all rude and dont want to help. this includes the main person in charge. this store is just flat out unfriendly. it never used to be this bad. I have been a loyal kmart customer for years but iam getting fed up with poor customer service there is only a handful of employees worth keeping. just about everyone else should be fired along with the entire mangement staff. I would go to the next closest kmart but i get harassed at every kmart i go to about the rewrards card. I guess when the new wal-mart opens up next door me and my friends will be going there if this store remains the way that it is.

Earlier this week, I purchased a copy of Mortal Kombat for the Playstation 3 system, from your Monroeville, PA location on Mall Blvd. When I opened the case, which had been fully wrapped and placed with your price sticker, there was no actual copy of the game, but a blank CD instead. When I attempted to return it to customer service, I was told to contact Sony to fix the problem, because it wasn't your company that manufactured it. I emailed Sony, and today, they told me they couldn't provide a refund due to the game being created by a third party. I feel this is ridiculous, because your company should check the product before you place it on the shelf. After some research, I found that the copy I received was missing a piece that comes with every copy of Mortal Kombat, a Kombat Pass. So what I'm pretty sure the store did, was sell me a display case. I shouldn't have to go through all of this to merely get a new copy. Kmart will be losing my family and friends as customers because of this, unless I'm properly reimbursed.

I had went to the k mart store in tacoma wa off of portland ave and 72nd st their was a playground swing set a costemer had bought on clearance I had asked about one they said they were out. So I was finishing my shoping and I over heard a manager talking about how she had one on hold in the back and that she was going to pay for it later all the companys i have worked for it is against company policy.I am very upset over this and if this is the way you treat costemers i feel sorry for your company.I don't know if me or my family will shop their again.I also saw the managers name to.If you would please contact me about this my # (253)486-8517. thank you Jason Rink

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KMART OR SEARS!!!! THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY. I will never purchase anything from a Kmart or Sears. I had been in search of a crib for my grandson and his wife. I found a beautiful crib on Kmart.com and did not hesitate to purchase the crib. To our disappointment upon opening the box we found that the crib was damaged. I immediately call and was told they would gladly send out another one but I had to paid for it and would receive credit for the first one once it was received back in their distribution center. I paid for the second crib only to have that one damage as well. I was so upset I immediately called Kmart and asked that they pick up these two cribs immediately. I have been fighting with Kmart since March 2011 and here we are entering June 2011. They were fast in taking my money but super-duper slow to give it back. They finally picked up one of the cribs and the other one is still sitting in the garage. I have file numerous complaints but to no avail.

I wish there was a lower rating, since I think we are now in the NEGATIVE STAR NUMBERS!!! I ordered a vacuum online... with shipping about $600. They cancelled the order, because the shipping address didn't match the billing address. So Fine I changed that. Then I place the order again, and it was cancelled for no reason? So between my father and I we called this order in multiple times, three today alone. Each time they tell us all is well, then 2 minutes after I hang up EACH TIME I get a email saying that the order was cancelled. Meanwhile they keep charging my card the $600+, plus a $1 charge, which froze my card. So now I have over $1,800 locked of my money from my account, despite all the orders have been cancelled. With such TERRIBLE customer service I have no doubt why they are in trouble financially, and losing customers daily.

I went kmart located 4080 lee highway to buy clothes I was checking it,s fits for me or not one of the sales associates ask me how many pieces I,m taking to fitting room ?I feel“ discriminate”“ uncormfort with that question there,s no sign how many u can take one at the time ,feel so uncormfot I belive it`s very bad customer service

Contrary to these prior reviews,I have had a positive experience at the Kmart in Westwood NJ. I purchased a patio set and placed it on layaway a week ago and saw in this weeks ad that it was a 100dollars cheaper.within minutes to spare before the store closed, I called the store, explained my story, spoke to Cindy who found my layaway contract and did the price adjustment over the phone . She prevented me from rushing to get to the store before they closed and handled this over the phone and then advised me to give her a call the following Friday before I came in to pick up the set and she would meet me at layaway to handle my final pickup! Corporate, please recognize Cindy for her dedication and wonderful customer service, she needs to be commended for her hard work!! Thank you Cindy for taking the time and caring for the customer!!!!!

I have been shopping online at kmart.com for some time, I noticed for a while that they had a 16'x42" pool on sale for $89.99! I went along to purchase it but lo and behold it was actually NOT that price at the end and the customer service person I called did not order it for me at the price advertised. I am noticing more and more that you are running a bait and switch operation here. I don't shop at any of your actual stores because they are to disgusting to walk through for I feel like I need a shower upon leaving them. I believe that the public who are involved with social networking, i.e facebook and myspace should get the word out there. Most companies rely on word of mouth for business and if the bad word finally reaches people Kmart may be inclined to do something about their unprofessional and unethical ways of doing business. The point is, they SUCK and they are extremely "ghetto".

It has come to my attention that the store manager is acting as a distributor to the local convenient stores this bothers me to a great extent also i have noticed that anyone whom is not African America who works in this store (number 7351) is treated horrible by the management as well as the service desk people also the male employees of which there are few are treated much much different at this store. In my opinion this store's regional and store manager are not capable of running a store please look into this matter. thank you.

I agree with Marquitta... on this one.. I used to work on the K-mart in Herndon, VA. so, funny, I was only their for about 1 month, as a cashier... the store manager Jay, said that I was goffy off, was mean to my customers, let's see what else.. and that I wasn't ask my customers enough to get smart cards or smart plans.. excuse me.. only American people can understand what you are asking the question.. I quit! the managers at that store, needs to get some help with their employees... if it wasn't for that, I might have stayed their longer.. gee, damn I work 40 hours a week at my full time job, giving them 3 days a week, wants me to work on every Sunday's, I think not.... Jay is a liar stack of crap.. is all I got to say.. they just lost a good employee.... corporate office.. I hope you are ready this will give you a call later... thanks. Kathy S.
