Your Hazlet store in NJ is the worse store. I Had put some clothes on layaway for the summer for work and i would always pay my layaway on time but went i would got to pay no one is at the layaway and then i would go up front and try to pay and the computer would be down and they would say come back later. And this is where i would NEVER NEVER NEVER SHOP at KMART again I paid on my layaway on April 1st three day before my layaway payment was due and i had a balance of $2.45 and when i went back to pick up my layaway the had return it back to stock because of my balance and non payment. What a bunch of BULL. The store has nothing the store is hot and dirty. They nneed to close the store and put a Walmart the store for me now .
this is in regards to your store in Jonesboro Arkansas. This is a really bad store in regards to how the customers are treated, by both the managers and employees. i am a VIP card holder. I spent a lot of money in this store. But, I will never again spend a penny in this store. I bought a nice flat screen tv, and when a part broke on it, and i tried to return it, the managers would not even come out of the back, to assist in resolving the issue. mind you, that i had purchased a 2 yr. warranty on the product. whats the point in spending money on a warranty if the store will not even validate it? And, since when is it proper procedure for a manager to refuse to assist a customer? They are quite rude and ill mannered at this store. I feel this store should be shut down or revaped with all new employees and managers. I think that in todays ecominic crisis anyone that is lucky enough to have a job, should be willing to go that extra mile to greet and meet their customers in any way possible, and not be rude and ill mannered. Maybe, KMART needs to having some training classes on how to be respectful and well mannered to their customers, and be taught that if it wasn't for their customers, they wouldn't have JOBS...
I was recently in the K-mart in Warner Robins, GA. The store manager was very rude to his cashiers telling them, they couldn't go the bathroom unless they were on break. He also yelled at them saying the store needed straighten he did it in front of me and about 6 other customers. He also refused to return an item that I brought in after I had put a smart plan on it. He told me if I didn't like it I could take my business elsewhere.
The KMART store in Carmel, NY is horrible. They do not treat their employees and customers well. Including mgm't -- they all stand outside smoking their cigs and leaving no one in the store. This store should close !! put something else their
Kmart suck big time. They kick rocks. I am closing my accounts with them and moving on to better merchants.
i am so so sad that my kmart on Manhattan blvd Toledo Ohio closed. It may sound crazy but it was like a friend. I have shopped there since i was a little girl. I was there the last day. Sunday,May 5th. It was wild like a black friday no one has ever experienced! i took pictures of people an my family who were with me. i watched Bob the manager lock the doors at 7.p.m. took picctres also. I have alot of fond memeries of my Kmart. And yes few bad ones like any store.I would love more information on the date it opened? can anyone send me some? Thank you so much for my kmart

Customer service really? It's a shame that Kmart/Sears "situation" has got so bad that you've resort to stealing from your customers. I was in your Kmart store on 18 mile road in Troy Michigan with my grandchild looking for toys when I spotted a La Z boy chair for outside and I bought it "on sale" for $249.00. When I got home I wanted to get information and a picture for my records. On the K-Mart website the price was less, it was $224.00 with Free shipping if you pick it up and your local store. I went back to the store & talked to the Manager to see if he can refund me the difference in price. He was very cold, and said, I can't help you. " No deal, Sorry we got you, Good Bye. On Sunday evening on 5/6/2012,I was shopping in the Natchez Kmart when I was startled by a loud commotion. There were two associates fighting at checkouts. I thought that this was very unprofessional and will never shop there again.
My boy-friend has as a Bench Top Brand variable sopeed jig saw with quick clamp. That he recieved as a gift from his grandma. The quick clamp has broken and He can't use the tool. We went to K-mart here in Tulsa and found that the whole staff there didn't know anything about products and we were there for over an hour while they called the person incharge of the department, then the assistant manager (a woman), then finally the manager. Who said that he would text us the website to order the part so that my boy-friend can use the the saw and work. The manager never texted us the website and I not saying anything bad about women, but the assistant manger didn't know anything and was a complete waste of our time. What we need to know is where we can order the part to fix the jig saw or can we get a replacement saw? My boy-friend's grandmother has passed on and there is no reciept for the purchase of the saw. I purchased an item from a Kmart that is closing. The item had a manufacturers defect and is useless. I am out of $80 and I called corporate to complain. Those butt holes told me "sorry but there is nothing that we can do so have a nice day". I hope that all of the stores close for good. I will never buy anything else from Kmart.....EVER. I hope that they loose out on 1 million times the $80 that I threw away. How can you sell something new in a box with a manufacturer's defect and then refuse to exchange it? I never asked for my $$ back. I only asked that the item be exchanged for one that I can use and I was told NO. Its all good though because when you do people wrong it comes back on you. I hope the owner of Kmart realize that the day after all of the stores worldwide close. LOL
I put a television on layaway (Online) and had to cancel it due to some unexpected hardship. The K Mart manager (Nimitz store-Oahu-HI) I was told it would take 4-5 days to receive a refund in the mail. Never received it, called the corporate office and the person helping WAS VERY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS, she needs to find a job elsewhere, is this how the corporate office leads by example?????? It has now been 8 weeks, I called the Nimitz store and Ann told me to bring down my original receipt, and documentation indicating it was canceled and the last 2 months of my statement and anyone in the customer service office could help me. I went down as directed and same person that rung up and canceled my order said he needs to check with the boss on how to handle the register; he claimed to be the store manager. Manager comes back and says he needs to talk to Ann to confirm. IF HE IS A MANAGER WHY DOES HE NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO HANDLE A SIMPLE REFUND. WE WERE TOLD TO COME BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY. WE LIVE ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ISLAND AND IT’S NOT LIKE WE CAN WALK DOWN THE STREET TO THE NIMITZ STORE. K-MART HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO SHOP THERE ANYMORE, THAT IS AFTER WE FILE A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
my 1 star is not for the store in general 7326 grand rapids mn - it is a great store for the most part but one of the assistant managers- gerri- she should not be in charge. she goes on break when no other managers are in the store- say the closing manager goes to lunch at 4 and gerri will get done at 5- she will go on break at 445 and will not answer calls. she does not like to answer calls. if you page her for customer care she will more often than not call up to ask you what you want and then say she can't do anything or tell you what to tell the customer when obviously you have already told the customer and that's why you need her to come up there- or she'll not want to leave the office so she'll call you with her override numbers. we aren't supposed to take the numbers over the phone but are we really supposed to say no you have to come up here and expect no consequences? i've seen her write people up because she doesn't like them. most of them time she has us leave early when we close- sometimes even locking the doors 5 to 10 minutes before closing time. i like to leave as soon as possible as much as the next person but we can get in trouble for punching out early. it just seems like all the rules that apply- don't apply to her.honestly- i love working there but when i'm going to be working for her it is just like i can only do so much. she is supposed to be in charge. all of the other managers are nice and work with us come when they are paged. it just doesn't make sense that gerri is allowed to have such a position of power where she does pretty much whatever she wants and if we question it she can get us fired. im not the only one who feels this way. it's very nearly the number one complaint at our store. if you agree to be an assistant manager you need to be willing to both assist and manage or it's not going to work. you lose the respect of your employees and the customers just keep getting a bad experience in the store. i have no problem with managers telling customers no- just come and tell them no instead of making your employees take the brunt of the abuse. so many times i have had to tell a customer sorry- she won't come up but this is what she told me. it's frustrating and unfair... and maybe i just needed to vent
I BROUGHT A 18" 14K GOLD CHAIN ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND I RECENTLY BROKE THE CHAIN, AND I TOOK TO MY LOCAL JEWELER TO HAVE IT FIX, WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN THEY TOLD ME IT WAS NO POINT IN PUTTING A NEW 14K CLAPS ON IT BECAUSE THE CHAIN IS NOT REAL, WHAT DO MEAN ITS NOT I I KNOW I JUST PAYED REAL MONEY FOR THAT. I AM SO UPSET .... I WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!
I have been with kmart 7243 for over 4yrs. I enjoy working for the company, but dont appreciate how the company treats the good employees who put their whole heart into their job poorly. Maybe 2 months after starting, i became a full time lead of pantry. At about a year later i became sick. Not knowing at the time i was sick, i thought i was getting too stressed from working my tail off and asked to be taken out of the position. The next day i was helping a couple with patio sets when i almost passed out. My mom took me to the er where i learned i had a 5 1/2lb. Tumor among other things that needed to be removed. When i let my job know that i was going to need surgery, the management didnt believe me. A fellow coworker told me that after she spoke to my mom after my surgery, she let management know And their mouths dropped. When i was cleared to come back to work, my manager told me i would be lucky to get 10hours a week that he didnt think my heart was in my job anymore. I ended up moving about 2 weeks later, And when it didnt work out i came back to kokomo kmart. I can do any position in the store And i like where im at now, but i am still making the same was someone starting out with like 100 times the responsibility. There a many employees that havent had raises in years that work just was hard as i do. How does this company think well stay afloat, if we treat our great employees bad? With such a high turnover rate were not getting anything accomplished. We have a hard working team that help our sales continue to grow and we try to keep good spirits, but how much longer can anyone in their right mind work in this environment and not lose faith? Ive never worked anywhere that didnt give me a raise. I enjoy what i do, but eventually ill have to move on just to pay my bills.
i have worked at kmart 3880 for a while now and am upset that some of the the employees dont have to work on the weekends. i feel that is when most customers are shopping because they dont have to work. these employees have only worked there for 6 months or less. i would like to know why they get special treatment and i dont. i hope things change soon or i will be looking for another job A.S.A.P.
Mother's Day. 5/13/12. 1345 hours. Salem (VA) store #3544. Many customers were waiting at the only 2 checkout stations which were open. No managers in sight. The lady in customer service walk away from CS and to a register while talking on a cordless phone leaving one person plus myself standing. When I did talk with her, she told me I would have to "take it up" with Wrangler. What I showed her was a hole worn in @ 6 month old blue khakis. I shred all papers during December of each year, hence no receipt. I am a 75 y.o. who has been patronizing KMarts since the early '70s and have always been given an audience and possible solutions to any/all issues. Every garment in my closet and chests came from Kmart, i.e., trousers, jeans, casual shirts, all under- garments, including sox - mostly Basic Editions. Also all my towels, sheets, house- ware, and electronics (Tv, DVD). Obviously I am a good Kmart customer. I am going to contact Wrangler. I must tell you that the description of this 5/13/12 visit in no way is typical of my 2-3 times a week shopping. At this store and other Kmarts in nearby Roanoke (VA), I have always been 5 star, 100% satisfied. I will continue shopping Kmart but will seek out a manager next visit.
