I remember spending some time at Kmart at the 3150 San Fernando rd location with my father before he passed away! That location was where I went to with my family for about anything. And then they closed!!!! Supposably it was bought by home depot but for years it's been a vacated lot!!!!!! I'm going to ask corporate "why?" the community wants to know and are you guys ever going to reopen that same location anytime soon????????????!!!!!!!!!!! Let the community know with local news or on newspaper,,,, give us a sign!!!!!!! When are you guys having the grand opening?????!!!!!! We, not just I , want to know when we're having another in the community?????!!!!!! Let us know!!!!!!!!
I was recently in Kmart in Trenton, NJ and you know how hot it is outside? Well it was hotter in the store. I felt sick and so did a lot of other people. This is terrible making employees work in such hot conditions because someone wants to save money by not running the air conditoning. Well how about if no one goes in your store until you make it more comfortable.
I give the store 1 star, not because of the service, because of the lack of air conditoning on a very hot day.
I was in the Kmart in Anderson (Cincinnati Ohio)and WOW was it bad. Workers are very nice and helpful but when a manager was needed for some kind of override at the cashier she was SO SO nasty. I have been a manager of people for 25 yrs and I never seen such nasty behavior from manager to employee. At the end of it all my things were put into garbage bages because they had ran out of Kmart bags. What kind of management is that? I have been back there several times since because I LIKE Kmart and still using garbage bags, and manager still nasty. Take some advice, FIRE the managers and praise the workers.
I can't beleive that you are closing the Bemidji Store. Your closing because the sears part is not doing well, but yet the rest of store is doing just fine. That is the wrong reason to close a store that has been in the area for 35 yrs. They where not even on the closing list. What is wrong with you people. I love that store. We don't have mush in Bemidji. I don't like wal-mart. K-mart has stuff that no one else has. It nice that they are the only one in town that does layaway. The price are right, have good sales, the only place I can find 2X tall shirts. closing will be bad for the economy here. We lost Pamida not K-mart too. kmart has the best slection of camping gear in town. best slection of if kids clothes in town. and affordable. My husband buys sears products. But you have them at other stores also. Just because they don't get them at Kmart doesnt mean people are not buying them. My son who is adult loves the clothes there. That is were he buys most of his wii games. You did not think this threw very well. Every one that works there is kind and considerated. Very helpfull. I have no complaint about the Bemidji store what so ever.
Everything about my experience at kmart was awful...first I was followed around the store...next not wanting to go to another store (big mistake)...when I went to the register it was a complete dog and pony show...never received a receipt... I am still after fifteen minutes of waiting...now as I examine it...what do you know I overcharged...and the manager..who o Wii not remain nameless..Cruz...was of no help...I will never return to kmart....located at 2701 belle chase het, gretna, la.
I found this new item, Eclipse Curtains Kent Grommet Thermapanel Solid Color Stripe Thermaback. It was not in any stores, as I wanted to put 6 panels on layaway. I contacted customer service via email & asked them to find out when this would be back in stock, in a store near me so I could put them on lawaway. Each time I contacted them, the supervisor included, they all told me the same thing. Call the store yourself & find out yourself.When I called the stores, they had no isea when/if it would be back in stock, & suggested I call customer service, as they culd find that infrmation ut for me. Custmer service knew I would get this response foro the store, & this was their flippant way of disregarding my issue & blowing me off. They did not want to be bothered, the manager included. The customer service reps, including the mamager, told me, basically, to go pound sand. The reps & their supervisor are the LAZIEST, MOST INCOMPETENT, RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and an EMBARASSMENT to Kmart. As of the last email the manager told me again, to call the stores again. THEY WERE NO HELP TO ME AT ALL! I asked tem to send me the email to the ceo's office & the refused. THEY ARE MOTIONLESS. REFUSE TO DO ANYTHING. How difficult was it for them to make a call to find out when they would be in a store near me? THEY CAN'T BE BOTHERED!! I will never shop at Kmart again, & I am going to foward their emails to the Ceo's office & report them all!! I am giving them 1 star for poor because a 0 star, for piss poor below average is not available.
I understand alot of people hate kmart well I work at one and I Am a good employe I do what I am told go out of my way to help customers.well people need to know how bad hr and managers treat us. If u were promised a raise well u will never see it. Managers and hr have there favorites that never get into trouble and can stand around and talk all day and not work. Hr yells at employes at service desk in front of customers and cashiers and think thats ok.they only give employers 20 hours at min wage and expected us to live off that. I am sick and tried of our manager and hr treating us like shit something needs to be done

A cold hearted man. Costumer service and experienced so called employees bad for customer sales will be going to walmart who value there customers. BYE BYE.
what a mess! i've worked my butt off for this company for over 4 years and havent received a raise. Still get paid 7.25. but hey, thats going to be over this week, worked as a cashier, stock, electronics associate, basically covers every department in the store because they never have enough employees to help customers out, why explain the values of customer service to employees when the managers themselves don't show good customer service. They have poor communication skills. All the responsibilities i had at kmart getting paid 7.25 an hour for about four years, i am now getting paid 9.50 as a stock associate only, at walmart. I am also now a certified personal trainer at bally fitness.
My "fiance" recently purchased me an engagement ring from Kmart. There was a lovely proposal and I was very happy. The Kmart jewelry department worker offered him ring sizing at the time of purchase but he made a rain check excited to go ahead and give me the ring. After the excitement we went back to Kmart to have it sized. The Kmart worker took the ring and explained they would call us when it's ready, no problems. Very excited when we got the call!, we drove there in a hurry so I could wear my beautiful ring. Only to find out when I put it on my finger that the diamond set had been smashed, bent, and scuffed up!!!!!!!! We show the managers & they all agree that, well, it looks like shit! And the answer to this problem is THERE IS NOTHING THEY COULD DO BECAUSE I CHOSE KMART TO SIZE MY RING!!!!!! What kind of service is that?? I trusted my ring would be taken care of but instead it was ruined and its MY FAULT because I trusted KMART to do it! So they already declined fixing it & they proceed to tell me no refund either?? I'm furious! I did end up getting the refund but my ring is gone. The ring that my fiance presented to me in our special moment is GONE! That was irreplaceable!! No money will give me my precious moment back. Now I am "engaged" & have no ring to show for it!!!! I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH KMART EVER AGAIN & I WILL SPREAD THE WORD ON HOW HORRIBLY I WAS DONE!! THANKS ALOT KMART!!
6/15/12 West Babylon, N.Y. I was trying to find out if they still had something in stock, and if I could have it put on hold for me. I called 6x!!!!! 3 times no one even ANSWERED at the costumer service desk. 2x I was put on hold for another dept to pick up (where I sat for almost 10 mins. until I finally hung up.) On my 6th call, I had to cut the person off and tell them what I had already tried while trying to reach them, and I was put on hold again. Someone finally got on the phone, found what I was looking for, but was NASTY about it. Then when I asked the price of the item I was looking for, it was wayyyyy overpriced. I have had bad experiences in the past, and have had patience, but this is simply not worth the hassle anymore. Don't do me any favors. I can find the same thing downt he road, for less and with nicer people! It's a shame! I like the Sears Co., but I won't shop here again.
Re:Bohemia NY store If you can't walk, you depend on a ride on scooter. This K Mart has 2 and neither is plugged in or working. I went to customer service and "fresh" Roxy told me it's not her responsibility. I said maybe someone should check from time to time to see if they're plugged in. She said customers don't plug them in and She doesn't handle that. Maybe customer service is not the place for her. Maybe she should sit on a throne all day. I finally just said "you really don't care" She just ignored me. I can't walk the langth of the store so I didn't shop. Walmart is further away but at least their customer service is actually customer service

Kmart store in NC ordered some shoes online they had my correct address never got delievered to my house checked the post office they never received them either. So i contacted the store they said to call the corporte office well they have no clue what is going on and said they are investigating it and its been over 2 weeks since i placed the order i suggest never order online you may never find what you paid for. Also they did say if i wanted to reorder i could and they would give me free 2 day shipping but they will never see my money again. My package is lost and getting them to reimburst me is nearly impossible I hate kmart
I just wanted to share my worst experience at kmart not becuase of the store because of the cashier who deal with customers cashier should treat customers with respect cashiers are not suppose to not insult customers. I am very furious and mad I don't where to complain or who should I talk to regarding this matter?
I am on hold for the 3rd time. The first time for 20 minutes, the second time almost 30 minutes and now I have been on hold for another 20 minutes and still waiting. I asked one question: If this store carried my printer ink for my canon mp270. Simple question. This time when I called back I let the young lady know that I had been placed on hold for a very extended period of time and had ask to speak to a manager. She stated the system was down, did not apologize for the hold time and said one moment I will get someone for you to speak to. And here I sit for over 25 minutes now. What horrible customer service! I have been in the customer service field for over 26 years. Someone treating customers this way should be terminated immediately. It is a wonder why customers choose other departments stores over Kmart. Its nots the merchandise, it is the service. Sears n Roebuck used to be an outstanding quality company. It has fallen completely from grace. How sad! And I'm still on hold. I placed 1 star but, I wouldn't give it any!
I'm an Overnight Stock Associate at Store #9420, located in Bronx, NY. I have been working there since November of 2010. As of last week, my hours have been reduced so I am now working 1 day per week. I was hired to work part-time. By law, part-time associates are to work between 20-30 hours per week. I have a student loan to pay back, an outstanding bank overdraft to pay back, rent to pay, as well other expenses I have to pay for. My fiancee is currently unemployed, so it's on me to provide for us. How do they expect me to live and provide for me and my fiancee with a decrease in my hours? They tell me that the amount of hours I get per week is based on my performance. I take my job very seriously. I don't come to work for fun and games. I might not say much when I'm working, but I carry out my duties. This is no way to treat employees.
i am very pissed off i always go in kmart in apple valley ca and it seems that i always get followed as if i am going to steel i have never stolen anything in my life it makes me very angry i bring alot of bussiness and they are very rude very long lines and the manager i cannot stand to look at he is so rude to customers its rediculouse i will never shop there again and i will let people know about that store that manager is putting kmarts in very bad business.
why does anyone go to K-mart anyway , i mean really , they have nothing but old food on there shelves and the jewlery is black instead of gold, and there clothes are weird and smelly, this store should be history already.......
