Unfortuately, once again I was overcharged with items I purchase yesterday. Everytime I'm in the store I never know what I'm going to be charged. The registars aren't program to what the prices on packages or shelves. If I don't have to go in to Kmart Store on Fayetteville Road in Raleigh,NC I don't. That store is going down the drain. This Kmart on Fayetteville Road Raleigh,NC needs a total make over inside. Whoever managers this store needs a course in bringing the store alive again. If I were to advise, I would retrain employees or get knew exciting people to work @ KMart. Everytime, I do go into store there is only one cashier, noone @ service desk when you need one. There is so much for me to discuss, you just have to check it out yourself. Other KMarts further into Raleigh don't protray their store like the Fayetteville Road Raleigh. The people so call working @ this store are like robots going through the motions. But as far as being over charged just about everytime I go to this store, this has to stop before there is a law suit and has to be shut down. I know Sears & Kmarts Stores are having troubles but this takes the cake. Please check out what I'm saying for yourself and you will agree to what I see @ this KMart store. VERY POOR ATMOSPHERE & RUNNING OF THE STORE. Its like nobody cares what happens to this store location. I would do things differently and keep wanting people to enter store with excitement. Thanks for reading my concerns. Something has to done soon or else.
Went to K-Mart in East Rome, Georgia to purchase a microwave oven. Waited for ever in the department for some to help me, never came. Went up from and ask for help, they broadcast over head, no one ever came. The store has the worst management crew I have ever seen. This is the results I find each time I visit this store, which is not often. If this store had a management crew like the Kroger Store across the street their cashiers would be busy all day ringing up sales. Tried to call home office and complain, same result no help. They should be rated with no stars at all.
I have a family member currently working at the Kmart on East 3rd Street in Bloomington, IN and this place is awful. I worked there for a few weeks over the winter holiday while on break from school and I had to quit within 2 weeks due to the fact that everyone that works there is so unprofessional. The managers are personal friends with associates and so favorites get picked and get special treatment. They tag team against other employees and chase them out of their jobs. I've never seen so much drama caused in my life. My family member that works there is responsible for a section of the store and is never able to complete all of the duties assigned to him because the managers constantly make him run off and do things that are not in his job description then he ends up getting yelled at by other other managers for not completing his job when he wasn't given enough time to do it. He wrote to the PR person and store manager that he couldn't complete his job and that he needed help because he was tired of getting yelled at for it (he's been telling them for months now that he needs help) and for doing that he's having to go through a discipline interview. Since when is it wrong to ask for help!?
Kmart in Springfield MO has been my Pharmacy for over 20 years. No More. They have reduced the staff down to one pharmacist period, no helpers. I have been to the store now 4 times to try to get one prescription that I have been getting refilled there for over 10 years. You would think they would figure out they need to stock it. So for now I am out of High Blood Pressure medication as they cannot provide. Tomorrow, ALL of this families prescriptions are getting moved to CVS.
I was a customer in your store on 7501 w. washington, las vegas nevada. I am telling right now, I can understand why your stores are going under. I wanted to buy for my grandson a star war sword. This should be simple. Not so. The new system of Kmart is would you like to apply for a credit card. The woman ahead of me had already made the man in front of me leave and I can see why. The paying customers have to wait as the person who wants a credit card fills out and responses to the questions. I tried every lane that was open and the same crap was going on. Complained to the manger and she didn't say, oh I'll ring you up, and other people left too. One man said this is why Walmart is doing so well. Your stores are going so far down hill I will never, ever, go back. What the hell happened to your stores.
I would really like to see some kind of punishment for the manager of the Dublin Georgia Kmart store. The manager has now kicked 2 paying customers out of the store and attempted to throw another customer out because she did not care for them. The store needs somethin done b4 she loses the associates that make the store run. Associates that have been there for over 10 years are now looking for other jobs because of this managers rudeness. Please Investigate these problem. I will keep posting until somethin is done.
I'm a associate at the Dublin Ga. Kmart. The store number is 3967 I believe. The managers name is bernanet(may not be spelt correct). This manager is very rude and ill tempered. I have witnessed her get a attitude over the intercom during store hours and while customers were in the store. Over the intercom the told associates to come to the front for morning huddle, after a minute or so she came back over the intercom and repeated more loudly and added "NOW!!!!"at the end. The electronic lead had two customers that he had to leave to come up front. Also jewelry had one customer that had no choice to hear her attitude. Today, April 9, 2012 she told a customer " you are in the way, you need to skidadle, you need to leave". This company use to care about the customer. I have work here for six years and she is the worst and most ill tempered manager I have ever worked for. I have work everywhere from receiving manager to stock man. The incident that occurred today was the last straw for me. Not only is this manager losing the company money she is also give customers reasons not to come back. Please take time to look at this issue and resolve the problem. She talks to her associates like dirt under her feet. She is very disrespectful.
The store mention is store 3441 on KIMBERLY ROAD around the corner to and across from WALMART. I spoke with Nan the other day regarding the incident and she told me she never told TODD anything,and that we were cool. I dont know if that is her true name or if she made it up she doesnt wear a name tag. But, what I do know is she was laughing after the incident. I said good-by to her and gave her another hug on the day of the incident. She was speaking to AMBER, so maybe Amber is the one that twisted the story around to make me look bad with TODD. I didnt think the incident was funny nor that Todd yelling at me like a child was funny either. He was very unprofessional!!! There are always two sides to a story, after he told me he wanted to speak first when i confronted him i tried to tell him my story and he walk away and threaten to have me walk out of his store...i ask him why???...i wasn't causing a scene and we were in a closed off area with no customers around. If,I had the courtesy of listening to him why didnt he give me the same respect AS AN ADULT. Please do not let AMBER or TODD transfered to any of your Kmart Stores. They do not believe in " Customer Service " and will just turn your customers away to Walmart they are doing it to the Kimberly store. The bad part of the KIMBERLY STORE closing is that TODD is allowing his employees not to care about CUSTOMER CARE. The only professional managers there are DAVE and TERRY. They are always working and they help and greet the customers. TODD is always huddling in a corner of the store chatting with the young female employees and then stops when any one comes around. That makes me feel very uncomfortable. Im not glad the store is closing, but happy I will never see TODD, AMBER and DEBBIE....and only if DEBBIE is the one that twisted the story around to make me the bad person THEN I APOLOGIZE TO HER if she was not the one.The funny thing is that DEBBIE was not there for the beginning when NAN yelled at me she only got to see NAN crying. Really, NAN...you are quite a great actress because i saw you later laughing at the service desk with AMBER. I love all your Kmart stores especailly Brady and now not the KIMBERLY STORE. The BRADY STREET STORE store in Davenport deserves 10 stars for their excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE. Yes,I'm still angry because NAN is laughing at me and TODD not respecting me at least as any NORMAL human being wants to be respected, DID NOT. He is laughing at me too, BECAUSE HE TOLD ME HE DOES NOT WORK FOR KMART ANYMORE and any complaint would be a waste of my time. He wants respect, but will not give it back to you. Two days ago i went to the store Todd was not there, But Terry was and he was so super nice to me i couldnt believe it. He hardly speaks to any one. I ask him for help and he assisted me in front of his employees. Terry and Dave are the GREATEST!!! Congrats!! to them both for understanding what true CUSTOMER SERVICE CARE ...REALLY IS. Yes, the store is closing ,but it still has your name and the receipts and bags still have your name. Both TODD AND AMBER should still respect your store because they still represent KMART...AND THE KMARTS I KNOW SHOULD ONLY HAVE NICE EMPLOYEES ONLY.
i am upset that a someone dear to me was let go under false accusations that the individual was stealing and not paying for items and i know that is a lie and then they forced the individual to lie on paper that they did and told them what to say but the individual falsely did one thing inappropriate and i told them what were thinking misusing something called a shop your way card thingy to gain points to benefit her child i said that was wrong and its like the same thing i guess that should always rely on God to see you through things that you better pray the individual is sorry and scared for family being a single parent and is truly sorry for taking advantages of card system will do anything to stay with family community service or trying repayment this first time never been in trouble before ever in life please help individual it occurred march 30th and individual found receipts pay for everything and bank statements of how many times purchases were made some as low as 46cents last purchase totalled about $160.00 for childthat shop way card thing told was very wrong please help individual who also has debilitating health problems that dont talk about please i am begging you
Customers beware that Kmart is ripping you off when you return an item. I returned an item a few days ago but noticed that the money I got back was less than the amount I paid. When I asked the customer service desk why I got back less money she told me that since I had used my rewards card they had to take off that amount. However, the amount that was deducted was for the entire balance and not just for the price of one item I was returning. They deducted the whole amount. Also, they removed the reward balance that I had used up and did not give it back. Therefore, I got ripped off twice, one for not getting back the amount I had actually paid and second losing the points I had accrued. This is how Kmart is trying to improve its image? I don’t think so.
The Loss Prevention person Josh!! He is a terrible Loss Prevention Person at the Kmart store 3796, he needs to be fired or transfered to another location he does not know how to address issues without being nasty to the associates. He doesn't know how to talk to the associates. I just happen to walk in the office, and he apparently was pissed off with someone in the office, he talked about that person really bad, and I over heard he say that person need to get FIRED!!!
Yesterday,as I shopped a lady walk to me to complaint about the prices going up and that the discount was not that great. I agreed that some prices went up. Nan, a very young female employee heard some of the conversation and jumped down my throat. She stated that she was tired of that statement and that she was losing her job. She was yelling at me. I told her i just agreed with the lady on some items and she started to cry. I apologize for any misunderstanding gave her a hug and apologize. I told her that she should never yelled at a customer thats why she was crying, especailly since it was not me who made the statement. The lady then looked directly at her and told her and Debbie that its true because all the jewelery prices went up. Everything was cool between Nan and me and she told me she accepted my apology. Today, when I shopped today some of the employees were acting different with me and I told Todd the mananger that his employee was rude to me. He told me he was sick and tired of me telling his employees that I worked at his store and I know how things worked at the store. Well,I did work at the store and sometimes the new employees were confused and i would help them out.Because Amber would take her time to come at help them at the register during a busy period. Amber, who works the service desk for a year has been rude to me. She would never greet me amd would always give me a upside down smile. I guess she dislike me because when i return items to the store i would want a Kmart merchadise card instead of money to use buying items at the store again, She would always have to call Todd to get his approval. I think this is when Todd the manager started to dislike me. Because I told him putting the money back on this card was a great sales tool. I never complaint about Amber because i didnt want to be the cause of anyone losing their job, in fact half of the employee there talk very bad about her to me. I dont know if it was Amber or Debbie who gave Todd the twisted story about yesterday incident, but he never gave me the chance to explain today. When one of his employee was rude to me today ...i told him and he said to me. " I am sick and tired of you telling my employees you use to work here and you know how things work, " I didnt understand why that was a problem. He also stated i make one of his employees cry yesterday, someone told him the story all twisted making the bad person. I told him everything was fine with me and Nan, Debbie was there when the lady was making a fuss, i was just trying to calm Nan down because she was yelling and crying. He would not listen to me and though he heard me say Shit, I said i was tired of all this BS. He told me this was a family store and I should not talk that way, I told him your employees are always saying worst, like F--- or B---- or I hate working here. I never told him that because it was none of my business. I believe it was either Amver or Debbie or maybe even Nan that told him the twisted story...as i said he never gave me the chance to hear my side of the story. Amber has always been a problem with me she never greets me or smiles when im around. i ask her once why she never smiles and she just turn her back to me. Also, Todd would always walk away from me when ever i cross his path and never greets me. I thought he was a cool guy making a different in Kmart. But, I thought wrong. I didnt understand why he dislike me so much, because i go to Kmart almost every day and spend , spend, spend. In fact my huaband is happy that Kmart is closing.He was very unprofessional today and nothing like the assistant managers Dave and Terry. I always found he huddle in corners with same felmale employee chatting and stopping when ever i saw him. I dont know what i ever did to Todd or Amber to dislile me so much. But today was the last straw. I told him i would called corporate about his behavior and he told me go ahead, " I dont work for Kmart any more, I told him ..maybe you dont but you represent them and today I saw the bad part of him that i would never want to see again. I thought customers were important, especially those that visit you store very day making sales for you. Is KMART not about Customer service and Sales. What happen, just because the store is closing doesnt mean you dont care about your job any more and treat your loyal customers bad. He made KMART look very bad being so unprofessional and telling me he would walk me out of the store and i didnt leave soon. I spent a lot of money at kamrt and was crying on at check-out the employees that do like me didnt understand what was happening, he even insulted me by having a undercover cop watch me check-out and leave the store. He also make sure that he went to his car while i was speaking to the security guard and crying that he would treat me that way espcially since i thought he was a great person. Boy, did I think wrong. I wish that he would apologize to me for not knowing the truth of what happened yesterday. Im crying as i write this complaint to you. I still love my Kmart, but am afraid he will kick me out tomorrow when i try to come in to shop. I spoke with your corporate customer service person today, James and he was wonderful maybe he should be a manager. Amber and Todd should not be allow to work at any Kmart since they are not customer service trained. When i worked tther i started in the womens dept and then promoted to the jewelry dept because I sold the most jewelry ever as told ny tracey and dave the managers at that time. I also got the most credit card applications and maybe thats why Debbie doesnt like me, because she told me once i made it harder for her. Tracey wanted her to do the same and she was not able to. I use to walk up to the customers and lure them into the jewelry dept to sell, sell . You see im was not only a great customer service person ...i really love my job at Kmart. Not too many people can say that from reading the complaints above mine.
The only reason I am giving the Kmart in Dublin, Georgia a 1 star rating is because there is no 0 star rating. I have shopped at that Kmart many times in the past 10 years since living in Dublin. The customer service has become so poor in the past 3 years. I went to the store today, and an employee was standing at a register doing nothing. She said she wasn't open. Looking at the other registers, I noticed there were no other employees around. She explained I would have to check out at customer service, which had a line of 4 people. How awful! I am appalled at the treatment of their customers. I have spent my last penny in Kmart. I would advise closing this store. I have had 3 other incidents similar to the experience above, with all different employees. Like RainMan said, Kmart sucks.
To whom this may concern; I was a K Mart regular, but the one in the Cedar Park/Austin area folded. Just before it left, I had seen the installation of several new pricey self check-out systems. WHO WOULD SPEND BIG MONEY ON THIS SORT OF PROJECT THEN SHUT THE DOORS? This worries me since K/M swallowed SEARS. I had SEARS vinyl siding installed on my garage which is defective. (I was tired of painting it.) The siding on the overhang blew off first. The wall was to be re-inforced, but was not,and now the siding on the front is loose. To get help on this issue is like running a maze. They want $100.00 to fix their OWN mistakes. The green cards that do the work do not seem to have the same vision in quality thatI. If I had painted the walls in stead of vinyl I assure you that the paint would not have fallen off. How this new merger will function I may tell you in the near future so stand by.
Worked at 4474 full time for 17 plus years and when store closed 12/30/12, we were offered a package about our severance. On the last day, store and personnel mgr. told me that I'm being transferred to another store, they let me sign a paper. So I signed it becuse I like to work. When I went to that store, personnel told me to apply and when I asked her about the job, she said it's a 4 hr. part time job. Not only that, if after applying, I have to go thru interview and medical exam. So, it's not a transfer instead it's a job where anyone can and people there are applying to at the same time. Remember, I was a full time employee for 17 years plus and want me to apply for 4 hr. part time job, common sense will you get it if you are entitled to severance pay and loose your severance, of course NO. When I sent my papers to Omaha Neb. I was told my case is handled by a Laurie Ruth. She even contacted me on her direct #847 286 4710 I was able to get in contact with her and told me that everything is ok and I'll just be waiting for my check. That was on 2/21. and from then it was HELL for me and my blood pressure went up to over 200 w/c I have a record with Kaiser. After that, I followed it up calling 888 887 3277. I talked to Vino 2/29, Manu 3/5 Serenia, 3/14, Mohamed 3/15, Raji 3/16 so with TEJ, their supervisor who was giving me the 5th case number, w/c I already had 4 and then Laurie again, who told me she will call people. All these people told me the same thing, MY CHECK IS COMING WHICH MEAKE ME STUPID WAITING FOR NOTHING. AGAIN THEY EVEN GOT MY ACCOUNT WHICH THEY SAID IT WILL BE A DIRECT DEPOSIT
I heard they closed the Davie Florida store Thursday, they will close all K-mart,little by little,every time Mr.Lambert closes one its like money in the bank... I mean really why go there when Walmart has more selection,and is way cheaper....
I have worked in Kmart, and it did suck at my store, though I always would have customers say to me 'you must be new' because I was nice and energetic. I still work in retail and I get mad on behalf of my customers who are not getting taken care of properly. However, I've got to say, if you people want better service I'd suggest you seriously look at your fellow shoppers. Often they -are- the reason for your other problems. We got one person complaining they wouldn't honor an expired receipt =good=. When stores do that, it's the rest of the customers that foot the bill. Your Wii has a manufacture's warranty for a year if I'm not mistaken, go through them! They were the ones that made the faulty product in the first place. "It was sold as is but..." but what, as is is as is. You got that bike at a discounted price, stop feeling entitled to special treatment, you were warned and too a gamble, grow up and deal with the consequences, and my favorite the person talking about Glade. You yourself even said they lower the price, that's called a -sale- idiot. Would you rather they never had sales so the prices didn't go up? Most of you get bad service because of people who come in with complaints like this, and kick and scream until they get what they want. You get poor service because that person at the desk is told the rules they are suppose to deal with these matters by, but then -when- someone comes in and starts cursing at them, instead of kicking that idiot out of the store, the manager all but grovels and gives in, -or- makes the person that got yelled at feel like an idiot. Why does this happen you ask? Because these people -who know they are wrong- know that if they send letters to corporate, corporate will not only give them what they want, they will give them additional incentive to be jerks =and then= they will yell at the stores themselves for 'poor customer service'. You want lower prices? You want happy employees? Shop somewhere where thieves and jerks get to do what they want and where employees are taken care of. I bet if I told you how I was denied a raise because I 'wasn't doing anything between customers' (lie) and the other girl who got her review the same day didn't get a raise because 'other associates were helping her bag and she needs to do that herself'. The 'other associate' was =ME= jumping over to help her bag because I didn't have a customer and my helping her ensured better service to her customer and helped us get the customer taken care of and back on his/her way to enjoy the rest of his/her day. But you know what, none of you whiny customers are going to say "God that's terrible, maybe I should shop somewhere that doesn't do that to their employees". You all only have yourselves to blame for empowering these companies and trying to take advantage of them when you can because you have no concept of the fact that you don't steal from the CEO or the CFO, you steal from the front line people who don't get decent wages or benefits, and you steal from the other customers who now have to eat the losses you cause through higher prices and less opportunities to save by sales.
Hello, I have a complaint about Kmart (6364 Springfield Plaza, Springfield VA 22150) I am serving for kmart from last year. I used to work there but quit my job because of my manager who used to bothered me every second. Then I came back when someone told me that our old manager has transferred to somewhere else and we have new store manager now so I came back and my HR (Filomina) hired me immidiately because I was a good cashier. But now I have relaize that this kmart supports spanish people most. My HR filomina has written me up just because I was not wearing a name tag but she didn't wrote up the other three cashier ho never wear a name tag. Is it right to do partially to support one race and do this to other race? I am a good cashier I always stayed late whenever kmart needed me. This is what I am getting in return? If tShis is the case that kmart wrote up for not wearing a name tag than this policy should be equall for everybody. I am so dissappoint with kmart with my HR Filomina and my store manager Trae. I always tell customer that kmart is a good store people are nice and stuff but I have never expected this. I will leave this job as soon as possible because these guys are so unfair who only support their race.
I bought my son a bike from the Kmart on Kimberly road Davenport Iowa.. Its the one closing....He rode the bike twice..pedal bar fell off and bike shop said it was stripped. Now the bike is in the shop getting a 40 dollar repair.. The bike was as is because of the going out of business but Kmart should still honor this because it was their fault! This should not of stripped out like this unless it was put together crappy...I am done shopping at Kmart! Hopefully they will all go out of business!!!
I had worked at kmart for 2 years and the managers and associates are very rude. I know that the front end manager of a certain store takes the phone book to sign people up for the sywr program and also has all employees apply for a credit card because if the store doesnt get enough the managers have to call the other stores for their stats. the district manager should come to the store and run a register for 2 days and see how many stat numbers he can pull.... and the one manager sat in the office all day and if you called her for help she would tell you to figure it out and the store manager would tell you take care of it... what kind of employers do not help when an employee really needs it?
