Too bad you had a good thing going and then you went and ruined it for millions of us who are tired of having alternate lifestyles shoved down our throats. We know how to best handle these things. We will stay out of your dammed stores.

We have often shopped at JCP and we WERE excited about the changes in its marketing. However, the choice of Ellen as spokesperson has shocked us. Not only is she an open lesbian, but has also positioned herself as an advocate of her position. With all of the choices of people to speak on their behalf, the choice is obviously deliberate and not just for business reasons. We are through shopping there and a current online order is being cancelled.

I am a 55 year old grandma and my huge family spread out from coast to coast and friends have shopped at J C Penney's the All American Store since J C Penny's began. My heart grieves that J C Penney's would even think of using a lesbian as their roll model. When America was founded it was based on Christian values which according to the Bible marriage is to be between one (1) woman and one (1) man, not between two (2) men or two (2) women. Those who state Christan's hate lesbian and gay's are off the mark. We uphold the teachings of the Bible and we have God to answer to. Those who do not know Jesus as their Savior please continue with your same attitude and thinking as Satan has you and will deceive you as thinking this is morally and ethically acceptable. Please note as long as a lesbian or gay person is the role model of any business I will no longer support them by my patronage however I will be praying for all of those in leadership positions of JC Penney's to be convicted of this sin and come to know Jesus as their savior.

I love your store, and I love it even more now that you have chosen Ellen as your spokesperson. She is a beautiful, great woman who is not afraid to be herself and is always helping other people. Go JCPenney!

I will never step foot in JC Penny's again. Kohl's is looking much better. I don't need any company that promotes homosexuals and this sick lifestyle. May God have mercy on us all.

I will NOT be shopping at J C Penny stores or on your website anymore since you hired lesbian Ellen "Degenerate" as your corporate spokes lady(?) or is that spokes "man"? Her lifestyle does NOT reflect middle America's conservative values of lifestyle choices. She is a bad roll model to young women and girls in America. so disapointed in pennys new prices, its a trick to get the customers to think they are getting a good deal when all they did was round the prices. i'll go to khols where i know i can get coupons and great sales.

WOW!!! What the heck happen to JCP? I walked in at the JCP at the Loop in kissimmee florida and boy was I in shock. On Sunday I came in because I did not see a flyer in the sunday paper and felt that there was something wrong. It was dead....Not JCP!!! now I understand the commercials. So I drove to the florida mall JCP and how the people were trashing the new look and commercials. My other point is that I also went in on last friday and did not pay to much attention to what was going on just that I needed a iron and I asked the female store manager to help on an issue and she blew me of as if I was not a costumer. The reason I knew that she was the store manager is cause the sales person saw my reaction and attended to me. When I asked her who the lady was she reply.....The Store Manager...another WOW.... Many Other store to go shopping at besides JCP...After a great track record to this....lol Not Good :(

I support your choice of Ellen degeneres for spokesperson. I am a straight female but think gay people deserve the same respect and acceptance. Please don't listen to the uneducated bigots. People who think like that are almost always in the lower socioeconomic groups so they don't have much money to spend in your store anyway! But educated people will now respect your store more. Dear JC Penny, I would like you to know that the fact that you capitulated to a group of people who have made it their life's work to demonize and demean homosexuals i.e. the OMM and OMD means that I will now be shopping for my family of fives clothing and other needs with your competition. Very dissapointed in the new pricing. Loved getting the coupons in the mail and going to Penney's. I had to buy my grandson some gym shorts the other day. I paid $25 and $30 for what I have always paid $12-$14 for. Really sucked. Time for a change.

I am a family oriented former customer who is unhappy with your choice of a spokesperson. JCPenney has always projected a solid family tradition which I think Ellen D is incapable of providing, given her choice of lifestyle. It is not normal and I resent corporate America confusing our children. Homosexuality is not normal and is becoming pervasive in our society. I will not fund businesses I know promote it. I am not homophobic, nor do I hate homosexuals. But I do hate the hurt and confusion caused by the homosexual agenda. They are a MINORITY, yet the majority of us are exposed to it daily against our desires. Watch your reputation JCPenney.

First of all...I love that you hired Ellen. I really hate, though, how you make plus size women and non+plus sized women shop on different floors. It's utterly rediculus that I should be banished to shop in a little cubby in the back of the bottom floor, while they get to shop through a huge selection on the top floor. I can't shop with my friends at your stores.

I will shop MORE at JCPenny's! I love Ellen and I think she is funny and full of love. All you haters can suck on lemons and sit in your house, grumble and be unhappy. No one cares.

I just bought a complete bed set from J.C. Penny's and was planning on finishing the room with new area rug, new drapes over new venetian blinds, etc., all from Penny's. Then I saw that Ellen Degenerate is a spokesperson for Penny's. No way will I be shopping in Penny's again. Sorry...I'm not a hatemonger, am just a mom and grandma with better values than supporting gays whose lifestyle is unnatural. That's why I haven't bought Pepsi for years...same reason. p.s. I haven't met a single gay who has had a good, loving, nurturing relationship with their parents. To me, homosexuality is a mental problem and no way will I pretend that their lifestyle is ok or normal.

As a regular shopper of JC Penney over 50 years, I support their right to make the corporate decision to hire Ellen as a spokesperson. Between ourselves, our children and grandchildren we have purchased thousands of dollars of clothing through their stores. Unfortunately we feel that it doesn't present the best image for the company and ideals. As they may hire celebrities we now elect to shop elsewhere and direct our portfolio manager to dispose of mutual fund shares that contain JC Penney securities.

I have shopped at your stores for 50 years 50. I feel you have turned your back on the family style store I thought you were. Ellen Degeneret is not a representive of any store that I want to be associated with. Take your stand and see what it gets you. Here is one shopper that will not shop with you until you get back to backing moral Christian family values. Who at the top of your chain is gay?? I feel sorry for you.

JC Penney's has historically been a family oriented, mainstream store..... now it has endorsed the gay political agenda. Others would argue this is not so. However, with Ellen as your spokesperson, it is very obvious of your political support as she has been a very vocal, aggressive and 'in your face' spokesperson for homosexual agenda. Your hiring of an outspoken gay representative simply adds support to the homosexual agenda/cause. Your choice, and you certainly have that choice, is far from the mainstream.... which would represent the majority of your shoppers. My choice, is to no longer support your store nor to shop at JCPenneys.
