Your ads are not attractive at all and I immediately throw the catalogs in the trash. I haven't been to your store for quite a long time now and don't miss it at all. I have even decided not to visit the hair salon. What a shame, it used to be such a nice store that I would visit at least twice a week. Very sad....
To the ceo of jcpenny you should be ashamed of your self for allowing the gays and lesbian groups to advertise in the jcp catalogue. i just want you to know my wife and i have been long time customers of jcp but our family will no longer shop at your store i challenge you to read the story in the bible of sodam and gamora may god have mercy on anyone that turns there back on god including our president hopefully people will wake up and vote you out of office as well as our president of the united states
Penneys new CEO is a fake phoney and fraud. Rumor has it that his mission is to destroy this once wonderful company. The manager at the Rockaway NJ store is no better. In the years since he took over, employee morale has gone out the door. People put up with him as they need their jobs, but the man is a sneak, has no people skills and has turned a fun place to work into a boring hell, with people paranoid about their jobs. The previous manager, A lady, worked hard, helped ring customers, put out stock, straightened and treated everyone with respect. The replacement, who came from a little store in Pennsylvania, and has crushed employee morale, sits in his office except when he is peeking around racks or looking for something to criticize the associates about. If a true anonymous survey were done,I am sure he would receive no more than 5% out of 100 in his favor. He let go many good managers and with one exception, kept the worst of the lot. Quite a few of us left after many years, more will follow until they get rid of this Bozo. As for CEO Ron Johnson, apparently he took his 25 million stock option and promptly sold it, so we were told. Poor James Penney.. his wonderful stores and ideas are being slowly destroyed by these pinkos who probably also hate the USA.
I just called and canceled my credit card. I will in no way help to support a store that tries to shove homosexuality on decent people. Read your Bible man. This new C.E.O. is going to destroy J.C. Penney.
Good on you Pennys for supporting families of all kinds. As for the people that are spouting off the bible...ive got nothing against you but this s a business keep your religion out of it.
We have been lifelong customers of jcp; you were the first to give us a credit card when we first started out when no one else would. However, we can no longer support a corporation that helps to weaken the moral fiber of this nation. We hold no prejudice against people, only the actions they are involved in. We would feel the same if your ads portrayed extramarital affairs, drug use, alcohol abuse, or any other questionable practice. We will be terminating our credit account immediately
Just want JCP CEO to know me, my girlfriend and all of our friends CUT our credit cards up today. We will pass on to others to not shop @ a store that buckles to a lifestyle that is all to familiar with the destruction of Sodom and Ghomora in the bible. Just like our president who coward in the face of adversity, JCP has now coward. The CEO mudt be a sinning fudgepacker also. One less credit card to worry about now.
I was unable to send an email on the JcPenny website so I will post here. JcPennys advertising is offensive. Please change your ad campaign or face the reality that many of us will NOT ever shop at your store again. I am highly offended, honestly I am in shock that you think this will be OK with most women that shop at your store. It shows how out of touch your company is with you customers. Many of my Christian friends shop at your store and I will be sure to let them know that your latest ads are selling homosexual lifestyles along with your clothing. This is not acceptable to many of us and we will show our dissaproval with our shopping dollars. Homosexual lifestyles damage the people involved and damage our country. It is not natural, but is a confusion of how we were made. We all know that it takes a man and a women to continue the species. Now your company has jumped on the bandwagon to attempt to brainwash normal children and families to embrace a perverted lifestyle as natural. It seems you have decided that selling sexual perversion is more important than selling merchandise to your customers.
For all the people saying they hate gays What will you do if your children tell you they are gay? and for those children reading this old and young BE YOURSELF no one needs to pray for you the ones that need prayed for is the haters. God doesn't hate. People hate. I am a gay male and I will pray for those who hate on lgbt's. BE YOURSELF!
I think this is a epic marketing blunder. JCP.com was at the top of the mobile marketing game and had many people wishing they were them. Out of the clear blue sky they do copy cat marketing such as everyday low prices! What were they thinking? Paper coupons makes people line up by the sheer fact of created urgency but now there is no longer that need or feel to buy (urgency). If everyday low prices! Feel just like every other day.
I totally support your new catalog campaign. Showing ALL types of loving American families in print is to be commended. Do not be swayed by evangelicals who want everyone to be just like them. Keep your doors open for all Americans and I will continue to support you.
JUST WALKED OFF MY JOB AT JCPENNEY HAIR SALON AFTER TWENTY YRS. WAS DEMOTED A LEVEL SO WITH MY PRICES LESS ,HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KEEP MY PRODUCTIVITY AT 28.00 DOLLARS AN HR . THE NEW CEO HAS LOST HIS MIND .THAT IS NOT EVEN LOGICAL I HATE JCPENNYS AND EVERY THING ABOUT IT AND WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THE STORE AGAIN. NOR MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.AND U LOST SEVERAL CLIENTS AS WELL. ON TOP OF WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST ,AND JCPENNEYS STORE AND SALON IS DOOMED. YOU REP WHAT YOU SOW.
So long J C Penney. I will not any longer shop where unhealthy, unclean life styles are championed. You may be PC, but you are horribly wrong. You are not helping people to turn from a distructive life style by championing it. You are hurting them. If you really cared about them, you would let them know that there is a right and wrong, and they can choose to do that which is right. It is time for people to stop being slaves to their sexual desires, and take charge of their bodies and actions. Everybody is able to do that which is right, if they care to, and understand that they are responsible for all of their actions.
I have always been an avid JCP shopper! That changes today. I am apalled and disgusted by your advertising of homosexuality. Enough is enough and I will use my dollars elsewhere. Just because you put that CRAP out there doesnt mean it is right. As a matter of fact, its an ABOMINATION. One less family in your store.
I will no longer be shopping at J C Penny, they have chosen badly as I tell my children. J C Penny has chosen the Politically Correct garbage and I will not subject my family to that. I have loved shopping at J C Penny for many years but will no longer go to a store that shows this lack of GOD. I have passed this information on to all in my email address too all who are apposed to this Homosexual agenda. Oh and by the way the last experience I had in the dressing room was a man dressed as a woman who came into the women's dressing room. I asked the clerk to get the manager and she said that there was nothing they could do and that is a bunch of garbage.IT was a man, it was a woman's dressing room. Please turn this around I will miss very much shopping there. God Have Mercy on who is making these decisions.
So long Penney's I've had enough of your pushing homosexuality on me.I'll take my money elsewhere.
My family has supported your business for 3 generations, have always taken pride in recommending your store to others as well. We are all so insulted that you have turned a shopping experience into a cultural arena for those wishing to be politically correct. Shopping is an experience that for some is just that, an experience, both in purchasing and preparing by welcoming smart advertizing. This is what JCP has always provided in the years past, but now we are reminded as we prepare to shop, of JC Penny's buckling to being "PC" with ads featuring "First Pals" . Unfortunately I will not be able to support your corporation until you decide to be a "diverse organization" and remain neutral in the culture war. I implore you to consider how your immoral actions affect both the youth and families of our nation that have generously supported you. I will continue to avoid shopping at JCP until you take a neutral stand. Please discontinue any plans to use your "First Pals" ad campaign elsewhere including store front posters, your website, and in print magazine ads. By being a diverse organization I would think it would be in your best interest to remain neutral and not advocate any political or cultural viewpoint. Please provide a shopping experience that does not promote any political/cultural awareness overtones.
It is too bad that a beloved traditional all American store got lored in to the gay agenda. (What this agenda has to do with plain old folk shopping for a cardigan sweater, I have no idea, but they have "forced this agenda" on folks who simply want to be left alone and shop.) This was a major error on JC Penney's part. I try to stay out of their stores because of this.
I want you guys to know that it takes guts to put out that new fathers day ad. Not many companies would do that and it's good to know that your corporation is on the right side of history and are against bigotry. Thank you for standing up for equality and love.
JCP, I am writing, like so many others, to let you know that I have purchased my last good from your establishment because A) the new pricing system is rather ridiculous--I like sales, coupons, the chance; B) the apparel buyers are forgetting about an entire population that is over 35-under 60-needs a little help/coverage/support/modesty and you are severely limiting or omitting the great brands Penney's was known for; and, C) for some disgusting and perverted sense of moral action, you have decided to support and uphold a way of life that is unnatural, unforgiving, and against true freedom AND you are choosing to shove it down my throat. I guess my thought is this: If you want to continue to a rich tradition of selling quality goods, take some very big steps back and think about what has made contributed to JCP's longevity; I'm pretty certain you'll find actual quality goods for all of your shoppers and not find any ads shoving personal agendas at your bottom line--the customers.
