I have shopped at JC Penny for years. I love their Liz Claiborne line. I will not shop at JC Penny anymore. I will be shopping elsewhere. Why did you feel you needed to push 'your agenda' onto the general public. This is so offensive to me. Why couldn't you just sell your clothes and keep your opinions to yourself. This mother's day ad campaign was a bad idea! You had a page in the catalogue with the gay mother with her other gay partner. Why didn't you also have a page with a mother and her partner, her husband, the traditional family. I also have stopped going to Starbucks, since they also tried to push the 'anti family' agenda on the public also. Hopefully you will apologize for your poor judgement of promoting and supporting the gay community, which by the way, is the minority of the population.

To Whom it may Concern: As a member of OneMillionMoms.com, I am highly offended by JC Penney's disrespect for the millions of parents whose children will be exposed to your latest homosexual Father's Day ad. Selling clothes has nothing to do with a person's sexual orientation. In attempting to be politically correct, you are offending a huge majority of your customers. I will not be able to support your corporation until you decide to remain neutral in the culture war. I implore you to consider how your immoral actions affect the youth of our nation. I will continue to avoid shopping at JCP until you take a neutral stand.

I got my first job in 1968 and my first credit card, J C Penney, that same year and have used it ever since - until now. I always shopped through the catalogs which are now gone. I don't go through the store any more mainly because the line of clothing that always fit, had a variety to choose from, and fit my budget - CABIN CREEK - is no longer in the store. I have tried other brands J C Penney has but they are not as good as Cabin Creek. Don't forget about the older generation, Mr Johnson. We are still here and still shoppers. Add some new things if you must, but don't take away the old things! You have lost another shopper.

I have to agree wholeheartedly with Dana. I am so disappointed in JCP for pandering to the gay community. As a marketing technique, it clearly will work, as that particular population is a more affluent group. However, as you pander to one group, you exclude another--me and my family--the more traditional family type. We are NOT haters of gay people, we simply believe that homosexual behavior, not the people, is immoral, and that it can't be reconciled with our Christian beliefs. Unfortunately, as you well know, your decision will have fallout. My husband and I love JCP, and routinely shop there. However, you have forced us to choose sides. We will not be shopping there anymore. Many of our family members have the same sentiments and will also discontinue their support of JCP. The almighty dollar is NOT our god. We serve another.

I recieved the new catalog last week and was pleasantly surprised. It's about time leaders in the retail industry open their minds and hearts to everyone. My 4 yr. old granddaughter was happy to see someone pictured with a prosthetic like hers and the two men with their children and the beautiful pic of the father of the bride in wheelchair. Thumbs up to you JCP! My husband said you will go broke with those fat magazines, I told him the content will be reason enough to shop there. Although I do love your clothing and find the pricing ok. Thanks for showing that love is everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a lot of you idiotic people need to stop talking about how jcp no longer has sales. if you are too stupid to see that they have sales every single month and that the whole reason for it is so you DONT NEED TO BRING IN A COUPON to get your item on sale, then you dont have the intelligence to be able to shop at a jcp in the first place. Learn the new damn system before you start flipping the hell out over something you dont even understand!

This should show the upper level management that they really need a Woman to run the company! What does a man know about a good deal, or the supply and demand of children going to school? Obiviously not much. I bet his female family members are all shaking their heads. I thought everyone knew women LOVE to spend the day with friends "looking for that great sale"! Not all of us women want to spend full price, it is much more fun and rewarding to look through sales racks!

Change back your pricing before the company goes bankrupt. Admit a huge advertising mistake and go back to the old ways. Even the new format for merchandising in the stores is terrible. I don't think a company could get so messed up in such a short time if you actually tried.

Me and my family will never shop at a J.C. Penney again. You cannot support, condone and promote immorality (homosexuality) and think I will use my money to honor that! So sad. Goodbye!

06/10/2012 I am a 59 year old disappointed, disable grandmother from Alabama visiting Florida. Today, I sent one of my granddaughters to a Florida J.C. Penny store to return a few items that I had purchased as gifts for some family members and a dress for myself, (which was too small for me) unfortunately. During my travels I somehow miss placed the receipt therefore a store credit was issued. When I sent my daughter and granddaughter to buy the cute shoes to match an outfit that I planned to wear to Disney the next day. The store credit wasn't available to me. The store manager deleted the card upon returning my merchandise to stock. Therefore, J.C. Penny and I must part ways because I feel that I was robbed. I did call the cops, I called the corp. office and now I am awaiting a response before calling in the local news. For now, I am posting the details of this horrifying event due to economic reasons, you the public should be aware of what happened to me. Thank you for reading and God Bless.

What is going on JCP CEO? I am irritated. I just spent over an hour looking on line at JCP for a dress or two for up coming wedding and wanted to have a sun dress to. EVERY SINGLE DRESS WAS OUT OF STOCK . Including the JUNE SALES! Lets see I heard JCP lost a Billion and a half dollars, the CEO got a raise -ALREADY.Stock is down. Assistant store managers are retitled and have more responsibility. (not sure about there pay)Most all managers on duty are gone, (many with as much as 20yrs experience because they wouldn't except a pay decrease, the store no longer pays any comission on sales. I even heard the hair salon lowered prices twice, demoted stylist levels and there is no longer paying comission to there stylist.Hourly wages after demoting their level of expertese

I am sorry I can not stand your new ads. I just throw them away they do not show me any incentive to even look at them. And because of your new ads I no longer even care to go in to the store so you lost me both ways. I can not imagine that your marketing is actually paying off.

glad to see others notice the gay agenda being depicted in the ads. what if the original Christian owner was encouraging biblical principals? oh wait, there was a time when we did that and i didn't have to lock my doors, worry about my children going outside, we could watch most movies together, etc. no more shopping there for us either.......but we do NOT hate u, u r on the wrong, wide path as i was at one time.

I don't even remember how long I've been a credit card carrier of JC Penney. Why, my teen age brothers use to wear your great t-shirts with jeans back in the sixties and seventies and I got my husband to wear them too. It was my first stop to shop! Now, that YOU HAVE CHOSEN to place ads celebrating the homosexual lifestyle I HAVE CHOSEN to take my business elsewhere. I am cutting up my credit card and mailing to your headquarters!

My prayer for JC Penny's owners is found in Ephesians 3:17-19. That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height--to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. It is with sadness that I report that my family, friends, and business associates will not spend one more "penny" at your store. For those sick and tired of the gay life-style, there is hope and a clean, pure life in the arms of Jesus. Please don't miss all you were created to be! He loves you more than you could ever imagine.

Dear Sir, I am highly aware of the present day thinking on every aspect of life - wherein "political correctness" rules supreme. Ever since Obama's election all media suddenly is populated by folks of mixed descent - to the point you would wonder where did all of us others disappear to.,did they retire and move to someplace other than the US? (look at how CNN has got their politically-correct act together with a vengence), I reference your jcp/june magazine add as a point of reference where the designer of the pages starts out with Asians, then in the middle pages they satisfy the need for political correctness with folks of mixed descent and then proceed to the back of the add/magazine with customers of African descent. Whom do you think made jcp rich? Where do they appear? Fear not, I am aware that the liberal dupe who will probably read this will immediately brand it as racest, but that will also be incorrect on their part as I have friends who are black, yellow, red and otherwise, and they , like me, do not care for your "political correctness" either. My point here? Don't ignore the folks who made you rich...and don't insult all the other people with your politically correct bs. oh, and Thanks.

My wife & I have shopped at you stores for over 45 years. We will not shop there any more and will be sending you our chopped up credit card in the mail. Your choice to advertise that two men are fathers and good parents is too much, as a father I know that it also takes a women to be good parents. I was appaled at the advertisment showing to women as parents. I will do everything I can let other people know to STOP shopping at your stores.
