To Whom it May Concern, Just writing to notify the Corporate Headquarters that one of you long time employees Ms. Margaret McLoughlin is retiring on 28 June 2012 after a long career with the JCP company. She started her career with a store in Fayetteville, NC Cross Creek Mall, then after many years, started again with a store in White Plains, NY Galleria Mall, and finally after retiring she then again entered the work force with your store in Vero Beach, Fl at the Vero Beach Mall. You will not find a more devoted associate who truly enjoyed going to work every single day. It was unthinkable that anyone in the family would shop anywhere else. Hopefully this email will find its way to a regional manager or higher that will take the time to send a message of congratulations and appreciation to her. Thank you and please forward to the appropriate person.

I'm a new customer and will now go out of my way to shop at J.C. Penney's. My husband and I support your new advertising policy of depicting diversity and including same sex partners in your ads. We shopped at your store last week for new clothes for him and I will also be returning to shop for myself. The real threat to marriage is the high divorce rate among "traditional" marriage and hateful prejudice. These are the same kinds of people who 30 years ago thought it was sinful to see a mixed race marriage and felt it was sinful and illegal. And by the way, I am a 56 yr. old female, married for 26 years to the same man.

Why are you no longer carrying Cabin Creek clothing? I have been a shopper at JCP for many years and do not like the changes - very disapointing... I have been wearing the elastic waist cabin creek pants for work and loved the easy care of them --- well what's next???? more stores closing???

I am a 60 year old male that still remembers going to JC Penneys as a young child w my mom to get my school clothes. It is unfortunate that an American Icon has decided to wade into a political storm I take extreme offense to both the Mothers Day and Fathers Day advertisement and w much regret have decided to sPend my money else where. I feel sorry for the employees that will eventually lose there jobs when Penneys goes out of business. I am sure I am just one of motel lions that feel the same way. It is apparent w there same store sales going down by 20% in the last year that the alAmerican public does not agree w the PC ways Penneys has adopted. I cut my credit cards up today and returned them to Penneys.

JCP should be a retailer not a "liberal pusher" you seen what happened to Oprah when she stuck her nose in politics - she went from the most influential woman in television to losing close to 400 million on her T.V. network. My family and I have been loyal customers of JCP and shopped there at least once a week and now have been there only twice since there new marketing concepts took place. Both times I HATED the shopping experience I felt as if I was in a glorified Good Will Store without the "goodwill". The only person that I know that loves JCP now is my husband because he no longer receives the weekly bills from JCP and because I never shop there now!! Just because the CEO worked at Apple doesn't mean that he will turn JCP around because he is in a new world of merchandising with JCP. There is much more competition for JCP since you can only buy Apple computers at Apple Stores!! We beg you Ron Johnson please quit and go into retirement you have been paid more than you are worth already!!!

I have not shopped at JCPenney since Ron Johnson took over and "changed" everything. He doesn't understand the consumer if he did his stores would be full. He keeps telling his board that after a year everything will change. I can't wait for the year to be up and hopefully JCPenney will still be around so that someone else can maybe have a chance to bring it back to life. I have a teen and a daughter in her twenties and a grand-daughter. None of us shop there anymore. I wonder what customer's they want? Oh btw, it is not just evangelicals that don't want homosexual ads in "family" catalogs. It is called staying neutral and unbiased and not having to explain things to 4 and 5 year olds when they aren't ready. It is a family catalog after all, right?

Just because you promote it doesn't make it right or make us accept it! I will still shop at JCP because I know there are plenty of wonderful people who need jobs. All we can do folks is pray for these lost and very confused souls who have felt like outcasts all their lives and want so very badly to be accepted. Love the sinners HATE the sin!

WOW! reading the feedback from customers.....It is quite clear that J.C Penny is not hearing ANYTHING!! from the looks of their stores (well at least the one in Roseville and Citrus Heights) the stock is beyond poor...my husband and I were just in both stores today and EVERYTHING we wanted to purchase (high priced items), they were out of stock of! what is this telling us ALL??? They ARE HURTING! if we stop purchasing from J.C. Penny, maybe they will get the clue and turn their practices around....If not, ANOTHER company will bite the dust....Let's put it in their court to clean up their mess...they need to remember, there are MANY other stores to shop with higher quality stock.....

It is not moral to hurt homosexuals, but it is immoral for you to promote homosexuality. We won't be shopping at your store anymore.

recent loss of commissioned ares unfair to full time workers wanting to earn enough to raise a family, $9 an hour to raise 4 kids.

You have seen my last dollar, as I will avoid JC Penny forever, till you go bankrupt, which will match your bankrupt morals. Christian family of 6 childen, frequent shopper, now vomiting you out of my mouth.

I am in agreement with previous commenters regarding the gay/lesbian advertising from your company. Too bad you're caving to 2% of the population instead of encouraging traditional family life, which has been proven to be better for children. So long and may you come to your senses soon.

I have a problem with the corporate sector forcing what looks to me to be a gay agenda on me and my family in terms of their accommodation of this lifestyle. I am offended by it and will no longer be purchasing anything from JCPenney at all and will be making this known to all my friends and family, who I am sure will feel the same way. I am disgusted.

JCP is a retail store, the only thing you should be selling ue is clothing or such items. Not your personal point of view. I would just like to go to the store and buy my made in China clothing, and not have social issues as part of my shopping. But keep on destroying what James Cash Penney started, I won't shop there anymore.

It is fantastic that companies, such as JC Penney, are focusing on real-life couples. Whether they're gay or straight, black or white, small or large, they are human beings, who have the same rights as every other human being on God's Green Earth! I suppose if they are Buddhist or Muslim, some would have a problem with that, too. It takes not only willingness, but courage to accept people for who they are. Those who lash out are weak. It's unbelievable. God Bless You, because you need it.

It is a matter of time.when i go in jcp there is nobody around to wait on you,and now i see alot more funny people in the store, like in the dressing rooms.i am done with that f--n store, bye bye jgay p.

I purchased two pairs of glasses plus glasses for my entire family totaling over $1,000 with exams. I also purchased prescription sunglasses. I've been trying to get two pairs repaired. When I purchased them I received great service and the manager was wonderful. Now, I can't get anyone to answer my calls so I came in to the Merrerrville, Indiana store and there is absolutely noone at the counter. Beware, new management and they are no longer customer friendly. After waiting two hours someone finally came in and I told her how long I had been waiting....and this is what I got: "well I had to go to lunch and the other girl is out sick".......no apologies, no smile, but she did fix them. I won't be dropping $1,000 dollars here on my next eyeglass wear....maybe there's another vision care that really cares about your vision.

I applaud your new ads and your al-inclusive ad campaign. Keep it up.

You are missing the BIG picture....women love coupons! The feeling of actually getting a deal and seeing thosecl savings on a receipt is exciting and gratifying. I love Kohls for that reason I even enjoy food shopping when i use coupons i find it challenging to see what I can try to save. I have always believed if something is not broken dont fix it. I do not blame JC Penny I blame those who put this CEO into office. Maybe what you need is a female CEO since most of sales are from women. It takes a woman to know one! I find it depressing to go into the store now. I find shopping boring since the challange of finding that awesome deal is gone. Especially with the way the economy is right now any money we think we save for the household is extremely rewarding to us. Shame on you for taking that away. I will find my challenges elsewhere thank you.

I can't wait to spend the rest of the money, (about $25.oo) on my JCPenney gift card, then I too will join the others in the country who still have morals and values and do not yield to pressure to accept inappropriate lifestyles. Think the BIG picture, these lifestyles are not natural nor do they contribute to a stable society. Every child deserves a mother and a father. My shopping money is going elsewhere to a store that really has the strength to do what is right.
