Store 2935 has the most disgusting restrooms in the Peninsula Town Center. The water stinks when you wash your hands. The toilets smell like they've never been cleaned and your shoes stick to the floor. The health dept. in Hampton, Va. should come down on them. No wonder the employees are always sick. It's disgusting!

It's cheap because it is cheap sh*t

I used to buy plus size tops from St John's Bay twice a year in bulk because they were great quality, weight, and fit; they were great to wear to work. Now I can buy a $4 shirt on jcp.com, but it's paper thin, and cheap because it is cheaply made, and it looks it. I am very disappointed in JcPenny's plus size women's selection, and I wish they would bring back the quality and standards that they once had. I would gladly pay $30 for a quality top.

I love your store but I hate to see you go downhill due to your marketing. Women aren't going to carry a monthly catalog into the store; they may look at it but then it will be tossed. I'm glad to see you're going back to some sales but would advise that your marketing person/ceo actually talk to some of the people who shop( or used to shop) at your stores before you tried something that was failed to work from the very beginning

Jcpenney store2679 . Store Manger was very rude. He should know how to treat a customer. No wonder the stores are closing. I will never shop there again.

I tried to purchase a suit for my son at Christmas time. The Clackamas Town Center store had nothing in his size or colors. My family has been buying Stafford suits at Penneys for years. The formal wear department has been cut to 1/4 the size it used to be and the selection is pathetic. There is no one there to help with fittings. Now, where to go for a Stafford suit? I used to be able to count on Penneys for what I'll call clothing and linen staples. It seems they are trying to reinvent themselves as Zody's from the 60's. We don't need another K-Mart. We need a store that is dependable for quality workplace attire. The Clackamas Town Center store has also removed their flooring and left the framing strips in place for us to trip and stumble on creating high risk for shoppers. Who's idea was that? Your risk management department evidently hasn't reviewed the flooring issue.

complaint

i use to love jcpenney until i some employees and shoppers start complaint at one of the store in lake wales ridge mall in fl, bad management, lack of communication with customers,and unble to help either on the phone when a coustomer call, and this particular store is well known when they hired seasonnal employees and not let in them know when will be their last day, the leave you hanging by not sheduling them. a bunch of managers pet in that store, when customer complaint about and an employee, managers brush things off by not trying to fix the issues. needs change of management or close that store. IN LAKEWALES FL.

Associates with body odor

I couldn't enjoy shopping in the shoe department of jcp 2316..... One of the associates smelled really badly and I cannot believe that jcp would even allow someone with a personal hygiene problem to work at all..... And I've been there on several occasions and I could even smell her smelly hair..... After that whenever I see her I just don't shop that day

After having credit with Penney's for over 20 years, and owning them nothing with excellent credit, they closed my account because I have credit issues with someone else. So all these years mean nothing. I won't return with cash either.

I ordered a furniture set for my unborn child due in Feb. 2013. I placed the order in Nov. 2012. I got back ordered until Jan. 2013 and then again to Feb. 2013. My order was missing one dresser. I asked them to send me the other furniture, and send the dresser separately. I went from the local division all the way up to corporate with my complaint. The reply was the same each time, " I'm sorry ma’am, but we cannot split orders." I don't have a crib for my baby to sleep in, and I'm a month away from my due date. I bought merchandise from this company and expected to get what I paid for. Instead I got an apology and limited time to find a crib for my child to sleep in. This is unacceptable. I will write reviews on every website I find, and express my discontent and disgusted with how my order was handled. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau.

lazy rude managers at store 2703

all the managers are lazy and rude. except the supervisors they get treated really really bad.,, do you wonder why sales are down, they dont know how to treat their employees, so why should employees treat customers well. this is the worst management I have seen in years. corporate if you don't believe me sneak in for yourself one day.

1)nothing is ever in stock 2)if it is in stock and you order it, it takes twice as long as they say before it ships 3) you pay for your merchandise when it ships, but sometimes it is 1-2 weeks after you order it and it is only a partial order/partial payment. I had 16 bucks here and 79 dollars there hit my account and I had no idea what was shipping or paid for. THEN they would cancel out your order and you waited and waited for a credit. I won't even mention black friday, nothing in the stores, nothing online. No wonder sales are down....you have nothing in stock.

what have you done to this store?

You used to have a good store, I like shopping in there and also your catalog department. Who ever you got to take over and change everything has ruined you store. I hate what you done to the store. You went from a very good store to nothing. You really need to put it back the way it was. You are on your way out of business.

stick pins in dressing room

We went to JC penny in Ardmore Ok to buy a pair of 501 levi's. My boyfriend had to try them on in the dressing room. There were straight pin all over and in the carpet. How do we know if someone had got stabbed with them before we got there in the foot and had HIV. We complain to the cashier about it and all she said, Its because people try on dress shirt. Well I can tell you there wasn't a 100 people trying on dress shirt that day. They have been left there time and time again. I will not go back to that JCP!

Slow delivery

Jcpenney is slow on delivering furniture. I asked for cash back since my delivery never arrived and they weren't able to do it. That it would take longer to get the money back. Also in desperate need of the furniture to put my baby clothes in it. Never again will I shop I jcp. They are unresolving with their customers and rude.

I WON a button for five dollars at the JCPenney store in Bowling Green, Ky. I went to the store, used my WINNING button to purchase a pair of slippers for my grand daughter. I used the WINNING button to purchase a pair on sale for seven dollars. Because I was not sure they would fit, I also bought the next larger size, also seven dollars. When I went to return the second pair of slippers I was told I could only get a refund of four dollars and fifty cents, instead of the seven dollars I had paid for them. When I explained that I had used my five dollar WINNING button to purchase one of the pair of slippers, I was told the button was not a winning button, but a promotional coupon and the coupon was divided between the two purchases. When Penneys sends me an email saying I WON five dollars, I expect them to mean that I WON FIVE DOLLARS, not deceive me to go to their store by saying I WON five dollars and then saying I did not win. Now because of the small amount of two dollars and fifty cents that they cheated me out of, I will NEVER shop at Penneys again. I can not do business with a company that uses dishonest tactics to lure customers to their store.

Slow to ship

Several years ago, Penney's got me to start shopping online by shipping my orders so promptly. The last couple years, however, it has really gone downhill. Items don't even go out until they should be received! I don't know what has changed but it has greatly shaken my faith in the company and I am learning not to count on delivery of items when I need them.

Bogus buttons... Several friends/family had entered button codes only to hav come back saying 'already used'... BY WHOM!...also when showing as 'winner' and attempt made to use was told 'already used'... Again 'BY WHOM'... Reading reviews I see we were not the only people to be scammed. Company needs to look into this problem .

new year store hours

Went to jcp on new years that stated 10.00 -6. 10.00 comes store nevers opens. 10.30 comes store still does not open. All I wanted to do was exchange a pair of slippers for a bigger size. I don't understand this store at all. The customer does not come first and since they have changed they have gotten worse. I threw the slippers out and went Kohl's. I will not shop here again and I hope Kohl's puts you out of business.

experience

As a jcp employee I have discovered a few things 1.) Customer service is unprofessional. 2.) The employees are unhappy, and 3.) When and associate pages for package pick up , I hear from one of the employees who is on schedule to do it ”just a minute.” And then it'll be 20 minutes to a half hour later and I have to page the guy again. Sorry to say this happens at store 1936 alot.

Fed Up!

My review is on JC Penney on the whole, as a store, your cloths, service, EVERYTHING about you!! You're TERRIBLE!!! I was upset when everybody seem to think this Christmas that I wan't to have a Pennys gift certificate because I DO NOT like anything about you ANYMORE!!! Your cloths are no longer pretty, you cater to the young people MOSTLY, you hardly have anyone at the check out and I hear that very soon you'll have NO ONE checking us out. You have become the #1 worse company and I want to have NO MORE to do with you!! Adios JC Pennys!! disgusted, a long time now obsolete customer, Debbie Ramirez P.S.
