I used to buy all my underware at Penny's then you stopped the free underware after purchasing so many items. Now I purchased my underware at Pebbles or Kohls. I always purchased my husband's underware at Penney's ( tall/extra large) last week the men's undershirts were empty we now shop at Dillards for that. I cannot find athletic socks anywhere and there was no one to ask where they were. I believe we are done.

My senior friends and I use to shop at J.C. Penny's. They carried good quality , fairly priced petite sports clothes. We may be seniors but we still liked to wear updated styles. Over a year ago you changed brands and your buyer purchased CHEAP looking junk clothing. We have walked through J.C. and spent not a dime and purchase from Christopher Banks and Dillards monthly.

Clothing Quality

I have shopped at Penney's for close to 60 years. I have particularly liked the men's clothing line. However, in the past few years the clothing quality has gone south in a big way. Poor quality, thin fabrics, unreasonable prices for what you get, etc. I walked through a local Penney's men's department in November and was shocked at how unattractive all the Chinese made clothing was. I found nothing in the department that was not made in China. When the Christmas pinback button "lottery" was held, and I won a few times, I wandered the store for two hours and could find nothing to purchase with my $10 certificate. That's sad. My suggestion, at least for the men's clothing area, is to bring back some higher quality clothing, at reasonable prices, have more color and style selection, and change the purchasing arrangement so that most of the product available is in sizes for the average person in the store's market area. For example, if 70% of the men in a store's market area wear size 36 or 38 pants, the stock should reflect that. Good luck to you, and make wise decisions.

Newspaper Sales Flyers

I used to love to shop at JC Penny's but I do not go anymore. The CEO needs to abandon his losing strategy and start sending out newspaper sales flyers advertising in store sales. This gives the consumer the idea they are really saving. Please will someone force him to before he runs the company into the ground!

You've Lost Us!

I have shopped at Penneys since my mother took me shopping and have always known there would be certain staple items I could depend on. ( St. John's Bay t-shirts and sweaters for example.) I am 75 years old and have been in fashion and retail all of my life. I have been shocked and disappointed at the blatant ignoring of all of us over 50 (40?)...we have the money -- but when I open these sales circulars full of pretty pictures on slick paper there is nothing there. This is stupid!!! It's like watching an ongoing death wish -- WAKE UP JCPENNEY!!!

Going downhill

My family & I have been faithful JC Penney customers since the 1960's. I have always loved the high quality & huge selection of merchandise offered by JC Penney's. But this is no longer the case. I am shocked & disappointed at the poor quality of the linens, drapery, & clothing etc. that this store now offers. Also, let's not forget to mention that this company now only caters to people under 30.

Maternity Section

My beautiful wife is 6 months pregnant and finally able to show off her baby bump. We went to J.C. Pennys last weekend to purchase some maternity clothes after searching the whole store top to bottom and not being able to locate the maternity section we asked a sale girl. The employee informed us there is no longer a maternity section but we could shop in the plus size clothing and there wouldn’t be much of a different. My wife is a small woman 5’3 135 lbs (at 6 months pregnant). What sense does this make. Only her belly and bust grew a little due to the baby, not her whole entire body.

bad customer relations

Four years ago during the Christmas shopping season I was told at JC Pennys that if i paid for my items with a JC Pennys credit card i would receive a 10% discount. I signed up for the credit card and was also told i would receive my billing in about a month. Less than two weeks later i received my first and only bill which also included a $25 late fee. Spoke with a supervisor and was told there was nothing could be done about the billing........Paid my bill along with the late fee to keep my credit rating good. I haven't been back to JC Pennys in over four years and never do plan on going back. Old saying what goes around comes around.

Customer Service

This is ridicules that a big company can afford and give a right training to the customer service personal, is so frustrated going back in forth to get resolved issues. WORST customer service ever. wow, really bad and disrespectful. The products are cheaply made. I wish I had NOT purchased anything from you.

Poor Leadership

I worked 11 hours I was scheduled for a 30 minute lunch and told I only get one 15 minute break. What a joke. All of the employees are leaving because of nonsense like this. I can't wait to leave this job. Worst mistake taking it. JCP is abusive, they change our scheduled at the last minute, they don't post schedule until a few days before, the new schedule usuallys comes out on Wed or Thur for the Sunday. Management says if you dont' like it you can leave. Does anybody look at the turn over rates for this compnay. I was hired on for seasonal and now I'm a full time employee, every week people are quitting.

Out of stock???

I saw a Worthington tweed dress and cardigan in yesterday's Sunday paper flyer and excitedly went on line to order them. The ad only came out yesterday, and already they are out of stock on the dress? No wonder Penney's is in financial ruin. I have no reason to check out their merchandise from their flyer in the future, knowing they will probably not have it in stock anyway.

NEW CEO

The new CEO of this company is useless. He tried to fix a company that wasn't broken and has made a mess of it. My local pennys has 1 employee in it everyday until noon, I feel so badly for her. (lower level, there is another employee upstairs). So sad.

Credit

I was asked 4 times yesterday if I wanted to open another pennys card. I declined. I was told I could have up to 5 pennys credit card; I don't use the one I have now, why would I want 5?

Losing business

This company no longer cares about keeping their regular customers because they have changed all the things I used to enjoy about the store.

SNL debacle

I have never been so disappointed with a merchant as with the blatantly offensive treatment of religious material targeting Christians. There are many people of religious faiths of some type who were offended by this. Who's next?

penneys is ruined by new CEO

Ceo, needs to be fired Please bring back the Penney store that we all loved. There is no service, catalog department, no St. John Bay turtlenecks for men. Womens are of poor quality and are called MADE FOR LIFE. This is a joke. Very thin material that shrinks and fades. I have heard many Penneys customers feel the same way. BRING BACK OUR PENNEYS STORE WE LOVED. I expect Penneys will be no more unless you fire Mr. Johnson. I'm curious if you will print this review. I have sent several showing my disapproval of how Penneys has changed for the worse. I will shop at KHOLS. At least they have Dockers and turtlenecks.

JCP has no customer service skills nor cares...management and company take advantage of individuals.

Customer Service

The new and unimproved stores have no customer service. There are no sales people on the floor to help me with my order. When I finally did find somebody she told me she didn't work up here and to wait here but nobody ever came ...? 1 star poor customer service I agree with the comments of J.C.
