I no longer stop at JC Pennys since they changed the store, there is nothing in my size anymore. I wear a size 14W and can't find a single thing I like. They no longer carry the st johns bay shirts instead they moved over to a jcp line, the shirts are cheaper and made of poor quality. There are 6 of cloths for me to choose from. It looks like JC Pennys does not want to carry plus size clothing anymore. They carry such little of it now and it seems like they are doing away with it. Very poor limited selection.

I miss my old jc pennys and wish you would change it back.

Fair and Square …. Is it really? Last week the pennys in GA had about 300 pairs of Arizona and Decree junior jeans on clearance for a few bucks. I purchased a few pairs and when I went back today they were all gone. The had redone the junior department, once again. I ask the girl what happened to all the junior jeans on clearance she said they moved the rack to the back storage room to make room for new items that are full price. How do I shop off the clearance rack I the back, the girl said they are taking a handful of items out each day until they are sold. What if my size isn’t there, she said come back tomorrow maybe it will be. I’m in school and work, I don’t have time to be going to JCP every day to see if they pulled out anymore size 5 jeans on clearance. Just pull them all out! What sense does this make. This doesn’t sound fair to me … just sounds like a square bunch of uncaringness.

Last month I found a dress of my sisters engagement party. The dress was originally $75.00 but was on sale for $36.00, I wanted my mother to see the dress prior to purchasing it. I asked if I could hold the dress until the next day I was told jc pennys doesn’t hold clearance items, you can purchase it and return it if you don’t like it. My mother and I went to Neiman Marcus when I found an even nicer dress on sale and they told me they would gladly hold it for me. Jc pennys your policy and produces are becoming more and more ridiculious. I can’t even hold an item for a few hours to show my mother prior to purchasing. ???

I was at the Cambridge location and one of the employees were cutting their nails in the fitting rooms, at first i thought she was a customer, then I realized she was an employee sitting there doing nothing. Another employee came into the fitting room and then finished painting her nails and they stayed in there 30 minutes ...

JCP sucks, I work at JCP in the Altamonte Mall in Florida and it sucks. Managers are so rude. The place is always a mess, employees hide cloths because we don't have time to put them away (me included). I gave my notice this week that I was quitting, I got into college and will be leaving this dump. Nice job Ronnie! Almost Former Employee

I was surprised to see a sale ad in the Sunday paper for JCP, I thought they were finally going back to doing business the old way. Having sales, bringing back coupons. I went into my local store all excited only to find out everything that was on “sale” that I wanted my pennys didn’t carry. I could go 45 mins away to see if another pennys had the items I was looking for. Disappointed in Dallas

Fair and Square for who? The employees who are losing their jobs because we have a CEO who is a selfish "leader". Ron why don't you give up your pay and give it back to the employee and lets see how Fair and Square you think that is. POOR Employee in CA

I currently work for J.C. Pennys and in my store the assistance manager has been downgraded to a talent resource leader; however he/she still had their own office ... meanwhile the store leaders "right hand" which is the merchandise expert doesn't have their own office which is unfair. Nobody knows what the talent resource leader does but we all know what the merchandise leader does.I've wondered why they have't cut this position since they have been cutting so many others.

I use to love shoping at pennys back in the day, they had the best sales, great coupons you could always find somebody in the store to assist you. Now things have changed so much I don't even want to go there anymore. I go to Macys and pay a little more. JC Pennys is becoming the Wal-Mart of department stores. Just my thoughts .... In this economy where the average person's paycheck is drastically reduced, you want to sell Martha's Stewart's line of products? Don't do it!! Can't you find a company that stands for 'America'? Everything she makes is not from the U.S. When her line was in Kmart, I did not buy it. I shopped elsewhere. I refuse to buy anything with her name on it. In 2004, she was convicted on four counts. She obstructed justice, she committed perjury and she made false statements in a court of law. There is a JCPenney in my mall near my home. If you sell her line, guaranteed I won't shop there.

My husband now deceased worked for Penneys for many years. We loved everything about it! The furniture, appliances, kitchen stuff, clothes, especially kid's clothes. I could never go into the store without buying something...could always find something I loved. But now, it is rare to find anything at all. I walk out with nothing from any department. Go back to the old way of doing business which is pleasing the customers!

It is so sad for me to go into a JC Penney store. The store I once loved has gone way downhill. I was once attracted to the stylish clothes, shoes and accessories in a variety of classic styles. I now can find NOTHING to my liking. Over Christmas I wishes for 5 different outfits from your website. All 5 were returned. I used to shop exclusively at your store, but you have lost me as a customer. I will check in periodically to see if things go back to the way they were, but for now I will say so long. What happened to the pantyhose section?

I was recently informed that the salon was eliminating the receptionist position... really?? How can you run a salon or any service business for that matter with no front desk? I understand there will be temporary part-time people running it... brilliant! I just don't understand what has happened to JCPenney. Sad!

I was a receptionist there and after being verbally attacked like I have never been before by another employee I was forced to quit, the store manager and salon manager did nothing, they have not even returned my calls. I can see what type of place this is and I will spread the word to everyone that not only is JCP a terrible place to shop but an even worse place to WORK!!!!

Whose brilliant idea was it to turn the store over to a CEO who has done nothing but take the store down!! Mr. Johnson has turned Penney''s into a neat store with limited merchandise on the floor. The store is much too large to be considered a boutique. It is a department store. Mr. Johnson has done nothing to keep loyal customers in the store. It will not be long before JC Penney finds itself in a black hole from which they will never recover. It's time for shareholders to take control back and send the CEO "packing"! Until this happens I will no longer be shopping in this store.

I am so disappointed with the new JCPenney and the merchandise that it carries now. The clothes are nothing but cheap quality and mostly caters to young people. It used to be my go to store and now there is nothing that I can find to buy in there anymore. They carry a Liz Claiborne dept. that is supposed to be for the mature women, but unless you are tall and slender-none of the clothes fit. I was so looking forward to the new store that opened up in my neighborhood and the selection is terrible. The jewelry is nothing but cheap junk from China and shoes are not the selection they used to be. Who is the CEO that came up with concept??? They made a terrible decision when they went this route. The store looks like a Gap or Old Navy (cheap) and not the higher end that it used to be. Please bring the old Penney's back! I miss my store that I was a customer at for over 30 years!!!

I am an ex employee, I never visited JCP since I got laid off on April. I went shopping a few weeks ago, because JCP carries my son's shoe size which is very difficult to find in other stores. To my surprise one of my old co workers stopped me to tell me to stop gossiping about her. Apparently somebody is saying that she is having a personal relationship with the store manager, which I did not know about until she stopped me. I was there as a customer, to shop. I know, what is JCP culture about Customer Service and that was very far away to what is supposed to be. From now on I will pay more expensive in an online store for my son's shoes rather than being harrassed by somebody who doesn't know the difference between a customer and an ex co worker.... By the way, it was your Waterbury CT store.

It has been one year since Ellen became your spokesperson. It has been one year since my wife and I shopped at JC Penney. We used to buy 80% of our clothes their and a whole bunch more. Like the lady on that old game show used to say, Good-by!
